There is one thing I really love about UNB, it allows me to try new brands. Some of the ones that I never heard of have become some of my favorite Kiniki could be one of those companies, I had only heard of once or twice in passing.. Kiniki is a British company founded in 1970 that has been making great undies many of you in the UK may know about already.
The pair I got to review is the Camden Trip Hipster. As you know, if you are a long time reader, I am not a big fan of boxer briefs. But over the course of the last four years I have tried some really great boxer briefs. So I haven’t totally changed my opinion but I’m not as rigid in my underwear choice now! I will give many more pairs a chance.
The Hipster is one that is a magenta color with a digital pattern waistband. It’s a little on the funky side. If the shows over your jeans you will definitely get noticed. I really like this waistband, it’s different yet not too over the top. The pair is an XL, which in the US is a large. I have lost a good bit of weight so going down in sizes is a good thing. Definitely check the sizing charts, because in the world of undies not everyone uses the same sizes.
I wore these to work on a regular day. To me wearing a pair in every day use is the best review. They fit really well through out the day. There isn’t a defined pouch, which had me kind of skeptical. However, after the day they fit really well. The legs didn’t ride up and I barely noticed that I was wearing boxer briefs. They were very comfortable and I enjoyed wearing them.
Pros:
- Great waistband design
- Fit great throughout the day
- Loved the bright color
Cons:
- No Defined pouch
