If your’e a fan of C-IN2 you no doubt know the Hand Me Down line. If you don’t know the line, its a line that is made with a “distressed” fabric to feel like it’s been handed down. I was skeptical about the line but I tried a pair and it felt really great. It lived up to what they said. It was like I put on a pair i have had for years.

The new refreshed line features a Charcoal and Grey stripes. When I talked to Greg at C-IN2  a few weeks ago, I wondered if the line would be too dark. But after seeing the pics on the site. The colors are: Blazer (orange), Dark Dizzy (red/maroon), Wax Pear (green/yellow) and Wink (Aqua/blue). The names brands come up with just are amazing lately. I am loving the creativity they are using.

They are in the usual styles you would expect from C-IN2, but the one style I don’t remember seeing is the Boxer. Granted, many of our readers don’t care for boxers but it could be great for lounging at home.

Should you get some C-IN2 Hand Me Down? I say yes without a doubt. It’s some of the most comfy undies I have owned and I love the stripes. Find these and more at the C-IN2 site.

jock-fashion-functionJockstraps have been going through a renaissance as of late. Back in 2010 I proclaimed it the year of the jock. Before this most jocks were relegated to the locker room or fetish situations. There were basically two kinds of jocks. The traditional 3-inch waistband or the Swimmer with the 1 inch waistband. The perfect example of this is the Bike #10 Jock. It pretty much came in white. In the 90’s they branched out in to a few colors but the styles stayed the same.

We flash forward to 2010 and everyone started to make them in all sorts of fabrics and colors. In 2014 you can find a jock in any color of the rainbow and in just about any fabric. The design is changing as well. Many companies have taken the jock and made it their own. The perfect example of it is the C-IN2 Grip jock. Not only did they play with the design but they also made it in newer material that makes it perfect for working out or being active.

Each year more and more companies take the jock and put a new spin on it. I didn’t think in 2010 that the trend would last longer than a year or so. I was dead wrong on that. Second, the original jock had been around for decades with out real innovation. Would companies really design new jocks and experiment with fabrics? I really wasn’t sure, but they did and created a really great new category.

Some recent developments in the jock world are:

  • Baskit developed the first hybrid, the Jockbrief –As you know it’s taking a brief and giving it a jock back. This only fueled to the jock fenzy
  • N2N Bodywear created jock swimwear – You may say this sounds strange but the pair was very cool. I have two of them and while I never wore them as swim I have worn them as underwear. They were prob the best made jock I ever wore
  • Bike Discontinues #10 Jock – It was a sad day when I learned from Jockstrap Central the #10 jock was being discontinued. This is a classic that all guys should have in their underwear drawer.

There are too many more to mention. Just about every company has their jock. So no matter what your love you can find a jock in that color or fabric! So which kind of jock lover are you? Are you an old school guy? Or Do you love the new? Or a mix of both? Let us know!

C21713452-F400Hey guys, Paul here! As you know from reading Jon’s review, a little more than a month ago we decided to pick pairs of underwear for one another to buy, as we both were in the market for some new underwear. The only input we had was on the price, and the style we were looking for. All I told Jon was that I wanted some new briefs-while I’m religiously a trunk/boxer brief wearer, I have recently began building my collection of briefs. I knew that Jon had some good recommendations, but I was going out on a limb as far as what he liked. Let me tell you, the straight boy has taste.

Jon picked the C-IN2 Pop Lo No Show Profile Brief for me, which he said was one of his favorite pairs. Luckily for me, mensunderwearstore.com had it for an extremely reasonable price of $20 dollars, with plenty of sizes and colors to choose from. My instructions were to buy a purple pair, and as easy as that, I was the proud owner of my first C-IN2 pair of underwear. Not to mention, mensunderwearstore.com has ridiculously fast and efficient shipping and was overall a great buying experience. When I got the package I was, as always, excited to try them on. The purple color was bright but not in an obnoxious neon way; it felt professional yet still attractive. Again, mensunderwearstore.com had a multitude of colors and sizes for sale and if you’re looking for a little bit more color, they offer a brighter orange pair, which I would recommend.

When I’m not drooling over rows and rows of underwear products online, I work full time in education, running up and down at schools working in a rather upbeat (read: hectic) environment. For me, the idea of wearing briefs to work is a novel idea: usually it leads to chaffed thighs or me awkwardly rearranging my junk every 5 minutes. However, Jon expressed to me that he often wore this pair in his workout routine, and that it held up throughout his vigorous physical activity. On his word, I wore them to work, still suspicious. This for me was the hallmark of this pair; not only did they keep me comfortable all day at work, they felt better than most pairs I had worn to work before. Of course, briefs leave one with a little bit more movement in the legs, and keep things a little cooler than boxer briefs or trunks do. This pair demonstrated both; the fabric kept me cool even while I was running around campus and gave me plenty of free-range movement. More than that, the support in terms of the pouch was also exemplary: keeping things right where they should be without being too constricting. For most of the day, I forgot that I was wearing them, which to me, is a great thing. No irritation, no restriction. Just a pair of underwear that moved with me.

As far as aesthetics and sizing are concerned, again the purple color Jon chose for me looked really great: it felt appropriate for work but would also be great for going out and showing off. In terms of size, I am 34 inches which means I’m usually in between the medium and large sizes for most underwear companies. I wish I would have listened to Jon, who recommended erring on the smaller size thanks to the cut of the brief. Instead I got a large. What I noticed is that the pair doesn’t quite cling to me in the way I would like; there is definitely some bunching that happens in the rear from being a little too big, and surprisingly enough, I don’t quite fill out the thighs the way I would like to (considering I have massive thighs). So if you like a little bit of wiggle room, aim for a true size. If you’re looking for a pair that hugs a little closer, aim for a size down. When and if I buy another pair, they will be in a medium.

The size issue here (which was no ones fault but my own) is really the only negative thing I have to say about this pair. I’m extremely grateful to Jon for picking a pair that was not only worth my money, but functions great as well. I’d highly recommend this pair to anyone looking for a steady pair of affordable, good-looking briefs. Overall, this has been a totally fun experience for Jon and I, and I hope that we get to do it again soon. If you like what we’ve done here, please let us know! We’d love to hear your ideas as we move forward. Happy undies, guys!

Fan of C-IN2? Check out their latest video. Here is the description “”Looking for Now” is an old school saying with modern appeal just like the vintage inspired prints of Hand Me Down and the pounded pigment colors of Scuff. Model Levi Jackson mans up to the last of winter’s chills to showcase this spring’s bestsellers.”

CC #2_0415-800I”m still bummed I didn’t get to meet with C-IN2 in Vegas. I really enjoy seeing whats coming from them over the next year. But we received these pics form them. They were shot by Rick Day and feature the Culture Club collection. I told you guys that prints would be making a big splash on the men’s underwear market. These are bright and fun and have a great waistband.

I personally love this line. It’s not my typical every day wear, but I think we all need to step outside our box and have some fun. Here is what C-IN2 told us:

C-IN2 is now Pop Culture Art inspired with a new printed underwear collection called Culture Club. Why’s this different?  Each art print is placed on a specific location on the underwear.  We call this engineered printing which is different from printing fabric and letting the pattern fall wherever it may.  This means we have to print each underwear pattern piece by piece.  The fabric is made of 90% (super-soft) Tencel with 10% Spandex.  The waistband is microfiber with high gloss printed logos.  C-IN2 is so excited about this collection, we’re calling it a 2014 Event.

C-IN2-Anthony=Moufarej-CORE WHITE-800New pictures from C-IN2 feature model Anthony Moufarej. You may remember the last collection featured Mike Stalker. This shoot was shot by photog Rick Day who is a long time photog for C-in2. Here are the latest images from C-IN2 campaign.

Info from C-IN2:

Fitness model Anthony Moufarej first seen in the “A week in the Life” photo/video shoot for C-IN2 by Rick Day. His Facebook page states he was “born in Lebanon and moved to Canada at the age of 13. Started practicing a couple martial arts like MMA, boxing, kickboxing and grappling and modeling not too long after.”

Anthony’s smoldering good looks and chiseled physique made him an easy choice as a Rick Day and C-IN2 model.

Features the Prime and Core collections

Prime

Prime the premier men’s underwear collection has a softer than soft feel yet manages to retain its shape. Prime boasts a new, thinner width microfiber elastic waistband that is retro with plenty of chic.

c-in2-scruffWere you a fan of the Filthy Collection from C-IN2? Well that collection has been retired and is getting replaced by the Scruff collection. When I sat down with them this past August they told me about this line. The Filthy line was one that was very labor intensive. The filth layer, as we call lit, the black dye was put on the material by hand. So there was no easy way to make the pairs. Granted, it was a really fun line and was a popular line but the new line is a take on the same dirty look but a little less dirt on them.

The new line is just as it sounds, scruffy! The fabric looks like it’s been a little scruffed up rather then filthy. I really like the technique this causes. It’s a slight discoloration of the fabric especially around the seams. It’s not as harsh as the filthy. So if you maybe thought that was a little too much for you, then you need to check out the Scruff line.

The line constructed out of cotton elastine mix and available in three colors. Those colors are Blazer (blue), Repper (greyish) and Rio Red. I love the names that C-IN2 comes up with for colors. They have the usual styles: jock, Lo No Show Brief, Punt, Lo No Show Army Trunk, Tank, V-Neck and Crew Neck T.  The prices range from $24-38.

Find these and more at the C-IN2 Website

PrintC-IN2 updated it’s Pop Colors line this week. As many of you know its updated seasonably through out the year with great new colors. This year however, the big color is purps! Which is purple out there for the less hip! I personally love having purple as a color in underwear. Its not a traditional men’s color. I mean if we can have pink undies, we should have purple!

This maybe my new favorite pair out now. I love the color coordinated waistband as well! C-IN2 does an amazing job at underwear. It’s always well made and holds up wash after wash. Purple isn’t the only color in the Pop Color fresh, the other colors are Pikante, Skydrive and Wink.

The styles the new Pop Colors are Jock, Lo-No Show Brief, Sport Brief, Profile brief, Lo-No Show Trunk, Square Cut Tank and Deep V Tee. One thing you will notice the Jock is now the same design as the Grip Jock that hit the market last year. It’s one of the best takes on a jock I have seen in a while.

If you’re a fan of C-IN2 then check these out!

brandon-cin2When you have as much underwear as I do, it is difficult to come up with the one pair that you’d place above all the others, but I think the underwear a man wears can really offer a window into who he is as a person. Of course, I have several favorites when it comes to underwear, but there is one that stands out to me every time I get them on.

My first pair of briefs were the long-since discontinued Neon Sport Brief from 2xist. Not too long after that collection sold out, 2xist started to venture away from their sport brief style altogether. But as they were phasing it out, C-IN2 added a sport brief to all of their new lines, and it looked strikingly similar to 2xist’s design (probably not a surprise as C-IN2 was founded by former 2xist founder Gregory Sovell) but it was a much better pair overall.

The reason I’m still falling in love with the C-IN2 Sport Brief is that it seems as if it were designed with my body type in mind. Being well-endowed, the most important thing to me about a pair of underwear is how well the pouch can contain my boys while offering them a good level of support. The pouch on the C-IN2 Sport Brief is deeply contoured as a result of the briefs design, which mimics the extremely high-cut leg openings of a jockstrap. Like most well-endowed guys, I’ve mostly defaulted to underwear brands that utilize an “Anatomical Pouch” but the reason I chose this pair over any of the dozens of pairs with an anatomical pouch is the quality in construction of these briefs. The cotton is incredibly soft, and it’s also thick, but breathable. The elastic used to frame the brief is incredibly sturdy, which provides support that no pair of anatomical briefs could dream of doing, but it also frames an athletic bubble butt like mine perfectly.

C-IN2 is a member of what I call the “Big Three” in designer underwear. They are here to stay and thankfully, so is their Sport Brief.

I asked a few of the guys on the site to give me what undies would they suggest for summer. Each guy gave me a pair and a reason why it would be a great pair for summer. Here is our list of what we think would make great additions to your underwear drawer.

So for me, it’s my pair of C-IN2 Zen Sport Briefs in “Clearwater.” I think the light turquoise color is very summery, and the underwear itself is perfect for hot summer days because it features perforated rayon (mesh) fabric.

C-IN2 has released the new swimwear for 2013. This year the collection consists of Woven Trunks. C-IN2 knows that not every guy wants to wear a swim brief or something smaller on the beach. In this case C-IN2 literally has you covered.

The C-IN2 swimwear collection has two different lengths. The first is a shorter 4 inch and a longer 6 inch inseam. When you first hear a 4 inch inseam you may think it sounds short, but looking at the pairs it’s not super short. There are other brands that make trunk that are way smaller than these woven shorts. White these are  not considered board shorts, the C-IN2 shorts should hit mid thigh.

The different styles are:

  • Swim 4-inch Relay Woven Trunks – $70.00
    • Ombre (Navy)
    • Red Remix
    • Sunkist – pattern
    • Clearwater – pattern
  • Swim 6-inch Relay Woven Trunks $80.00
    • Scuba Blue
    • Graph Grey
    • Sharp Grass
    • Bungee Cord
    • Ombrey – stripes
    • Red Remix stripes
  • Swim 6-inch Freestyle Woven Trunks – $80.00
    • Candy Coated

What Makes Great Date night pair of Underwear? One that will be remembered for future dates? We have a few suggestions on that. But the underwear depends on which date it is (first, thrid, or fifth) and the connection you have to the other person on the date with you.

Over the course of the blog fewer things have brought controversy like bringing up date night underwear. That is because to each guy “Date night underwear” means something different. Underwear is personal and date night underwear is even more so!

We decided to break down a few categories of date night underwear and have you guys tell us which pair you wear and why?

0001-X20320-41806pCKI1-11999785v275

Classic Underwear – We don’t mean the tighy whities that come in a six pack. Rather a brief/boxer brief that is no frills. It’s styling is simple but very comfortable.  One pair that would be good is the 2(X)ist Essential No-Show Brief or Trunk. Another pair is the Calvin Klein Bold Cotton Boxer simple with an off setting waistband.

980580-985-f PARIS

Colorful/Patterned – Colors are an expression of our personalities. On a date night there is a greater chance the underwear will be seen. I know in the past I have worn really fun/bright underwear when there is a chance things get busy. A great pair of colorful underwear is JOR Paris Brief. If you’re a boxer brief fan then you should look into the Papi Eye Candy Brazilian trunk.

copy_of_p1150_pure_jockbrief_f_super_white_1 c-in2_3326_white_f_grip_mens_underwear_jock_strap_fitness

Jockstraps/Jockbrief – Many of our readers wear jocks every day. They are no longer just for the locker room. Over the last few years companies have been putting their own spin on the jock. The C-IN2 Grip jock is the perfect example of a company taking the jock to the next level. If you’re not up to wearing a jock but want the coverage of a jock, the orignator of the  jock brief Baskit has the Pure Jockbrief.

0001-11011_black_l 110204-01-far-front

Erotic/Mesh – If you’re past the first date or out with your significant other maybe you want to show a bit more of your wild side. This could be either Mesh or something considered wild. If you want to show off everything with mesh then we suggest the Gregg Homme NoDoubt Thong Maximizer, It shows and enhances. If you don’t want to share it all but want to wear something you won’t find in your local department store, then we suggest Modus Vivendi 11011 Leather Look Brief with Zipper.

These are some examples of different types of underwear you can wear on a date night. You can go from mild to wild depending on the date! Let us know what pair you like to wear on your date.

E.Blast-(layout)Are you a fan of the color blue? If so then you need to check out the new Ombre Blue just released from C-IN2 in its Pop Color line. The Pop Color line is one that they refresh several times a year and usually the colors match some of the hottest colors around. The newest is the Ombre Blue. It’s sort of a Denim blue, or a darker blue but not quite a navy color. The pair is topped with the C-IN2 signature waitsband in an orange contrasting color. It’s a great looking pair as you can see in the picture. The Ombre Blue is available in Pop Street Jock, Pop Sport Brief , Pop Low No Show Profile Brief, Pop Profile Brief, Pop Lo Show Army Trunk, Pop Square Neck Tank, Pop Henley and Pop Deep Vee Neck.

I think it’s a really great color addition to the C-IN2 line up. Find these at the C-IN2 website.
