Underwear Review – Todd Sanfield Defiant Sports Brief

The pair I am reviewing today is the Todd Sanfield Defiant Sports brief. This is the second of the Defiant collection that I am reviewing.  All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by todd Sanfield. 

Rating: 9.4/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: 

  • Made out of amazing fabric
  • It has some fantastic color choices 
  • A tremendous brief cut that can move and be active. 

Cons: 

  • I wasn’t a fan of the waistband, but that’s a personal preference
  • If you are a print fan, these are just in solids
  • Some of you may see the price as a barrier. 

UNB Tim recommendation: Pick these up if you want a fantastic pair with great fabric. It’s a pair you can wear to the office or the gym. The cut of these will allow you a great range of movement. I’m impressed with the quality and construction of this pair. 

After wearing the micro brief, I was super excited to try the Sports Brief. The fabric for this collection is impressive. I can tell that no corners were cut for this line. The big difference between the pairs is the Sports Brief has a waistband and higher-cut sides. When it came to wearing it, I was like, let’s get this pair on. 

I wasn’t back to work for my part-time job yet, so I didn’t give these a great work out. I wore these mainly around the house and whatever errands I had to run. These, like the Micro briefs, felt amazing. Fabric is super important to me, and pairs that feel great on me get worn often. In my average day, the pair felt great. No issues with it at all. I noticed that I liked the Micro better than the sports because it has no waistband. This isn’t an issue with the pair, just my personal preference over the two. 

As I have mentioned, this entire line is very well made. Todd Sanfield is making his brand a luxury brand. The high-end fabrics and outstanding construction. I mean, I don’t mind paying $30 or more for a pair that is well made and built to last. Todd Sanfield is one of those worth the money and will last longer than other brands. 

Again I am so happy he has added XX-Large to his sizes. Before, I could never wear his brand, but I am glad I get to try these pairs. The sizing is spot on for me. I didn’t have any issues with my size. I think he has pretty standard sizing for his brand. Again always double-check the sizing charts and if. You are on the upper end; go a size up.

 I know there are guys out there who prefer a more classic cut. As I have said many times, classic can be super sexy. I love the Phenomenon briefs from Clever Moda because they are a classic color but not the traditional black, white, or navy. Add in the microfiber fabric and this pair is super comfy. It’s perfect for daily wear or a date night. This pair is $23.32 

Pkante Explorer Mesh Bikini

Believe it or not, not every guy is a thong guy. One pair that I think would be a miss not to include is the Pikante Explorer Mesh Brief. This smaller cut bikini has a good pouch with a solid mesh back. It will cover the goods but show off the assets. This is one of my favorite pairs of the new Pikante line, because this pair is made for fun with it’s ergonomically pouch, mesh fabric and cut out at the top of the pouch. This pair is $22.77 

Doreanse Flashy G-String

If you love thongs, take it to the next level, try a g-string. A g-string has the smaller waistband and straps than a thong. The micromesh fabric gives you just enough coverage up front. Doreanse is one of those brands that makes awesome thongs at even better prices. This pair is $10.19 –

Underwear is Art

Since the first part of December I have started to draw again. It’s been many years since I have taken pen to paper, or in this case, Apple Pencil to iPad. I was a little rusty when I started but it’s like riding a bike, you never forget and just get right back where you were.

I have really enjoyed getting real guys out there and drawing them. One of my favorites is the 2Beefy2Thick boys. I have drawn them naked, in thongs and at their wedding. They were the first guys I drew in clothes! LOL. Note the hat below and that’s so true!

Here are some of my favorite pictures I have created so far and plan to do a lot more!

I’m trying to draw guys from models to real guys and specifically beefy guys! ClemsonCub on IG is one I have gone into detail on his pics and have really enjoyed getting better and better.

I plan on opening a store soon to see prints and other merchandise. Some guys have already started to ask about that, don’t worry it’s coming. Do you want to be drawn? Cellblock 13 Tight End Swimmer Jocks are at Jockstrap Central

Finally! Cellblock 13 has a new addition to their Tight End sports jock collection and this time they’ve tackled the Swimmer Jock.

It’s a modern day sports jock and appropriately called Tight End for all the right reasons. It’s inspired by the classic sports jocks of yesteryear with a respectful nod to Bike’s classic jockstraps. There’s eight colors to choose from: traditional colors include black, white, royal-blue and red but also army-green, navy-blue, grey and pink!

This new jockstrap has everything you want in a sports jock and more. With a narrow “swimmer” waistband complete with traditional micro sports striping and as expected, a woven mesh pouch – and this one is softer than previous versions of Cellblock 13’s sports jocks.

Like all good sports jocks the pouch is woven to ensure air circulation and to wick moisture and because this one’s made of a nylon, cotton and spandex blend, it’s a bit softer to the touch than its predecessors. It’s also slightly contoured to ensure a better fit and sturdy enough to keep things in place during a rigorous workout.

As mentioned, the one-inch wide waistband is built tough with classic sport jock pinstripes running horizontally through the elastic. Respecting it’s roots, the white rectangular label is on the outside front and center with the a CB13 logo and the size displayed for all to see.

Finally, solid one inch elastic leg straps not only frame your ass but ensure everything stays in place.

These new swimmers join the original Cellblock 13 Tight End 3 Inch Jockstraps (which are now available in eleven colors!) And like the original versions, the Swimmers come in sizes small all the way up to 2xlarge.

Timoteo Classic Reload collection is back

It’s been said that everything comes back in style, and Timoteo is proving that fact. They have released the Classic Reload Collection. The first thing you notice on this pair is the retro Timoteo waistband. We haven’t seen this in I think over 10 years. Timoteo brought back the popular colors of red, burgundy, and black.
