We are very excited to start this month with two new collections by French label Kale Owen. Kale Owen is a brand based in Northern France which creates some of the most sexy and provocative underwear designs in our shop. If you are a fan of thongs and strings you will love their designs. If you are also a fan of bright colours and prints, then you will love it even more! Kale Owen offers a unique take on sexy underwear for men. It combines styles such as briefs or trunks with thongs and string to create contemporary silhouettes that fit like a glove! The two new collections we have just stocked are called Apple Flowers and Graffiti Hip-Hop. The first one features a beautiful floral print with apple blossoms on a light almond green background. The second is a multi colour pattern inspired by graffiti and street art with tones of turquoise, blue, orange, green, purple and red. Each collection comprises five underwear styles all in four sizes, from small to extra large: Micro Brief, Thong Trunk hybrid, Thong Brief hybrid, Thong String hybrid and Thong. All styles are incredibly sexy, low rise and with a snug fit. They have no lining inside and they offer the minimum coverage possible! Some may find them suitable to wear as swimwear as well! The fabric dries quite fast but you should be warned that they can be quite revealing when wet!

Both the 1025 Sunny Swim Thong and 1023 Caribe Swim Thong are quite similar other than a few cosmetic details, thus I’ve decided to wrap them both into one review.
The first thing that caught my eye about these thongs are the design. They have a classic, simple design, but add some excitement through bold colors (in the case of the 1025 Sunny Thong Candy) or metal embellishments on one side (on the 1023 Caribe Swim Thong). Those minor details take these from blah to AHHHH!
Another great feature of this thong is the comfortable fabric. I find that some swim thongs can only be worn for a small amount of time before becoming uncomfortable, but that’s not the case with these. They are designed for all-day comfort and also designed as true swimwear as they are lined inside.
Where these miss the mark personally are in the areas of sizing. First, the pouch is just big enough for me to fit everything in comfortably, but a little extra roominess wouldn’t hurt. The bigger issue, and admittedly it’s a personal preference, is the size of the waistband and back. The waistband and back measure right around 2 inches which is about twice the size of most of my thong collection. The back leads down to a very thin string of less than a half inch. While this isn’t uncomfortable in any way, it will lead to quite a thick tanline if you’re planning on spending a day in the sun in these. If that’s the case, I’d suggest ordering multiple so you can maintain that tanline without always having to wear the same one over and over.
Overall, these thongs are nicely styled, comfortable, and a must have if you don’t mind a thicker tanline. Maybe this will be the summer that I go for a bolder tanline, because these thongs have definitely captured my attention.

This past week I dropped by the new site UndiesLive. They had a show going that featured Murray Swanby. If you aren’t familar, UndiesLive is a show featuring a model, this time Murray but previous ones featured Colby Melvin, trying on undies and gear. It’s like an Underwear HSN. Below the show the item that is being worn is for sale.
I think it’s a really interesting concept. Its’ the first interactive buying experience I have seen for underwear. You can join the chat room and ask questions about the gear. Murray interacted with the audience and clearly had fun doing this show.
Will this be the next big thing in undies? I don’t know, but I love it when you see something different to sale undies. The most interesting thing is this was done by *sstricks, which is a new company I haven’t heard of before this night.

Welcome to my first sportswear review on UNB! I recently had the opportunity to try the JOR Action Shorts, and I am impressed.
I will admit my bias going into this review. I have been a fan of JOR tights for a few years now so the shorts are just a shorter version of something I already love. That said, they aren’t perfect, but they are quality.
While definitely comfortable, you’re going to sweat your balls off in these, literally. The polyester fabric doesn’t breathe a ton and may not be for everyone, but I don’t mind that.
These shorts also are somewhere between short and compression short. Meaning they are certainly tighter than your average short, but not as tight as I find most compression shorts. The only semi-annoying part was the elastic at the bottom of the shorts did feel a bit tight around my thighs.
These really win when it comes to styling. The JOR Action Shorts have a fun, wild pattern to help spice up typical boring gymwear. These aren’t meant to be hidden under a pair of baggy shorts, show these off! Much like JOR tights, these shorts do a great job of showing off the butt, so all those squats won’t go unnoticed.
Speaking of squats, an important element for me when it comes to sportswear is what I call the Squat Test. Can I squat at the gym without the shorts riding down? The answer for these is YES! These will definitely work well for leg day, or any day at the gym.
Overall, I’m a fan. They are an investment, but high quality. If you like tight shorts, consider adding these to your collection.

Can I post pics every week? Yes, we are not limiting guys submitting pics. If you submit more than one a week we will choose one to share.
Do I have to show my face? No, you don’t. I know some of us are in positions where it could be problematic to be that open with underwear. It would be amazing if we all could but I get it!
What is IG worthy pic? Well, that’s a good question, we keep it very PG rated. So no big bulges, erections, full on back shots in thongs. I know this sucks, but we will edit pics on IG but will show the unedited pics on the blog.
I shy and feel a little self-conscious, will I see bad comments? Not if we can help it. We don’t tolerate any negativity towards guys posting pics. It takes courage, no matter what shape you are in, to post pics. Rude and ugly comments will be deleted and if necessary people will be blocked. However, we love to share positive comments. We all need to stick together as brothers in gear.
