Real Men Apparel has burst onto the underwear scene, making quite a splash. They sent me their new jock, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I love the bikinis they make, and to get their take on the jock, well, I hoped they would make an incredible jock. And yes, Real Men did furnish this jock for review, but all opinions are my own.

The Pros:  A great modern take on the jock with incredible pouch options. Fun colors to wear that aren’t just black or white. The pouch itself gives more ample support. 

The Cons: If you are a classic jock guy, this one is more fashion in appearance, but it definitely can be a sports jock. I was told that some guys are having issues with it rubbing their taint, but I never experienced it. Make sure you pay attention to the pouch size guide.

First off, if you aren’t familiar with Real Men, they offer different pouch sizes for each style. They range from A to D, with A being the smallest and D the largest. This pouch design would be great in a jock. And let me tell you, these didn’t disappoint. 

I wore these to work one day to give them the workout they deserved. I am very active at both my jobs, and if they could hold up to my day, it would be amazing. When I slid the pair on, I was immediately taken by the pouch. I received the C pouch, and it fits and cradles your goods in a way that feels amazing. This immediately propelled it to the top of my jock list. I like a jock that gives support, without crushing everything or flattening the pouch. These, I think, maybe enhanced the bulge just a bit. 

The design is much of a classic jock, minus the wide waistband. The pouch is made for those who don’t like a center seam. A strip of fabric is placed in the center to prevent rubbing or chafing from the seam. Speaking of the fabric, it’s a Breathable Nylon Mesh.  Perfect for working out or for everyday wear. The leg straps are a great size and really hold in place well, without rolling or slipping out of place much. Plus, there are some fun colors for those of you who love more than just white and black.

I am a big fan of Real Men Apparel, they are really doing something innovative and fun in the world of men’s underwear. That being the pouch sizes for all their undies. Guys come in different sizes and it’s not a one size fits all in the pouch department. One thing I asked when Jared came on the podcast is when are they releasing a thong, and he said they were working on them and a jock, well the wait is over!!! The Jock and Thongs are here.
