BodyAware furnished us with a few hot things to review. The Backless Thrasher Brief is one I specifically requested. One of the previous pairs I have from them is the Well Endowed brief and I loved it. This seems to be a similar cut and I had to try it. So, when I opened the package and there it was I got really excited!

When I opened the package and saw the brief I was a little worried about the size. It didn’t seem like it would fit me very well. I mean the pouch is small in the front. I slid it on and the fabric stretched and became very form fitting. The brief is made out of the most amazing fabric. The fabric is 85% nylon/ 15% spandex. The brief is a VERY brief cut. For many out there this is a selling feature of the pair. The back is more of a jock brief than a brief.

I wore this to the UNB Holiday shoot. I knew it would go through it’s paces. You may think a shoot is easy work but it’s on the go the entire time. It really amazed me how well the brief did during the day. After my initial “This isn’t going to fit.” I swear the pair molded to my body and just felt amazing. The entire day it felt like I wasn’t wearing anything. This has to be one of the favorite pairs of this year that I have reviewed.

One feature that I have to talk about is the “unique up-front pouch design.”  BodyAware is known for their great pouches. They give you great support and fit the way it should fit! This pouch reminded me of an ergonomically designed pouch. It didn’t give you too much of a bulge and could be worn to work without being too bulgy. They did an amazing job on the pouch!

The fabric while it felt amazing. I didn’t notice it till the end of the day that it’s mildly see through. I received the black pair and until I went to take it off I didn’t notice how see through it was. If you see the picture here you can see the transparency. It’s not bad but could be another selling point for some of our readers.

The sizing of BodyAware is pretty awesome. This pair I feel even if you bought the smaller size it would stretch and feel great. Sizing on the site runs anywhere from small to XXL. They make underwear for guys of all sizes. We all should be sexy regardless of the size!

Pros:

  • Amazing Pouch
  • Incredible Fabric
  • Fit that molds to your body

Cons:

  • Some guys may not like the skimpy design
  • Some guys may not like the semi transparent fabric.

I don’t normally give things 10’s but this has to be one of my favorite pairs I have reviewed in a long time. It hit all the right notes for me. It didn’t want to take it off the fabric felt great and the fit was amazing. If you haven’t tried BodyAware I recommend it. This pair is AWESOME!

9904_13_Andrew Christian furnished a few of the new Black line to review. The new line is one of their newest collections. It is “Our BLACK Collection features a no frills, all sexy brief you can enjoy anywhere from work to the gym and on to your hottest date.” This is the answer to those who wanted a more classic design from Andrew Christian.

I really liked the look of the new Black brief. It’s very classic but not too classic. That may sound odd, but it’s a great classic design with new fabrics. The fabric of the pair is one of my favorite things about the line. It’s a 93% Rayon Made From Bamboo, 7% Spandex. Which may seem a little odd but it fits really well. The rayon is super soft and mix in the spandex for some great support.

The day I wore this was over a work day. As I have said before the new job is a bit more active. So I have to do a lot more than my desk job. Picking a pair of great underwear is even more important. The pouch gave really great support and it fit very well. The classic design had a full back which stayed in place. It moved with me and did an amazing job. This definitely could be a work pair or gym or date night. It’s pretty versatile pair of underwear.

Colors are more classic as well. Some of the previous collections have been a lot of neons and other bright colors. This has red, black and blue. The waistband is a black band with yellow trim and the Black name in the band. Its not classic but not over the top either. I think it’s a nice touch to the pair.

Sizing for Andrew Christian is pretty standard. I can’t remember when I had an issue with a pair being too small. I have found that the XL can fit larger than suggested. Trust me I know this for fact. Their size chart isn’t that crazy either. Its been pretty standard for the last few years.

Review Kiniki Peek-A-Boo Brief

Side_3428f0b0-27c1-487c-8c86-8d7cbad860e8_1024x1024Kiniki is becoming one of my new favorite brands. The last reviews we did were a lot of fun and they asked us to review some of the new Allure line. Kikini furnished us with this pair and many others to review. The Allure line is super sexy and fun. It has a lot of mesh, sexy designs and skimpy cuts. Mix all that together and you have a really awesome collection. The pair I will be reviewing for this review is the Peek-A-Boo Brief.

The Peek-A-Boo brief is a mix of mesh and solids. The mesh panels are in the pouch and back. This means you will show off all your goods. The black fabric and mesh are super sexy to me. The cut outs with the mesh are made to be shown off. Unfortunately for my review I was the only one who saw the pair on me! This is a total date night pair. Your other half will definitely enjoy the reveal after the date!

The pair has a classic brief cut. Meaning it’s not cut too high or too low. The waistband is the Kikini signature band in metallic silver. The contrast to the black to me is a great touch. I think if they had had a black band it would have gotten lost. The silver just pops and adds something to the pair. The mesh panels make for sexy cut outs.

I wore this pair to a new part time job I have that is a bit more active. I wanted to see how well it would do under an active situation. The fit on these were great. They moved through the day and didn’t bunch or bind. The only issue I had was with the pouch. The seam down the front was a little annoying at times through out the day. I had to adjust so I didn’t rub against it. The back seams didn’t have the same issue.

The sizing in Kikini is pretty spot on. The XL I received fit me well. It was a bit tight but not binding tight. The other pairs I had fit a little looser. However, this didn’t detract from the pair at all. I would say double check the size charts from Kiniki.

Pros:

  • Super sexy design
  • Silver waistband pops
  • Good sizing

Cons:

  • Front pouch can be abrasive
  • Some my not like the cut outs

Ratings:

  • Daily fit – 7
  • Sizing – 9

Find the Peek-A-Boo Brief on the Kikini site for £18.90. Will I wear this pair again? Yes I definitely will. The seam was only a minor issue to me.

99134(2)CandyMan has always been a company that had intrigued me. They are never shy about pushing the limits when it comes to new cuts, styles and fabrics. Some people might say that can take it a bit too far sometimes. If you are one of those skeptics, don’t count this brand out so quickly.

I had the opportunity to review the Modern Varsity Brief in blue size medium. This pair was furnished by Macondo Trading. I have to say I was happy this pair got sent my way. This is not your typical brief, but if you are looking for a pair of undies that are sexy yet comfortable.  These are worth the look. From the clean cut waistband to the contrasting florescent piping around the legs to the little cut outs on either side of the pouch.  CandyMan cut no corners when it comes to details with these briefs.

These briefs are made from 96% Nylon and 4% elastane Sheer stretch mesh which is completely see through. It has a great wide elastic logo waistband that has a metallic silver look to it. I love a good pair of mesh undies. I think they are something sexy for sure. What I like about these is they are comfortable to wear as well as sexy. These will not leave anything up to the imagination. The front pouch is very roomy and keeps everything in place like a good brief should do. The cut-outs on either side of the pouch add for a little extra stretch in the front as well if you need it. The fabric is light and airy and almost feels like you are going commando under whatever you are wear over top.

The one down fall with these briefs that I could find is that like most sheer fabrics.  These are undies that should be cared for. I have had similar fabrics get caught in zippers of paints while in the washer and rip a hold in fabric.  So just be cautious when washin’. I would also not recommend wearing these all day. I did and they performed better than a lot of my other mesh undies; however I didn’t feel like they moved as well with me like some of my other undies do. BUT if you are looking for a sexy pair of undies that will add that little extra element of sexy to your night out, these are the undies for you! Sexy and functional for a great price!

PROS:

·       Great fit and true to size

·       Great color and contrasting piping along with detailing add to the sexiness

·       Comfortable waistband

CONS:

·       Sheer mesh doesn’t seem the strongest of fabrics

If you have read any of my past +reviews, you know that I love trying new brands, and I am a HUGE fan of jockstraps. So when I was told I was going to be reviewing the ManView Campus City Boy jockstrap. Jockstrap was  furnished by Macondo Trading.  I was very excited. ManView is a brand I had heard a lot of good things about, but I didn’t own anything that I had released. I have to say that I have been missing out. I love a good jockstrap.  When you add in some sexy contrasting colors and that little bit of a unique look, it is hard for me to go wrong.

I reviewed the ManView Campus City Boy Jockstrap in Green/Orange in a size medium. One of the first things that caught my eye with this jockstrap is that just looking at it from the front.  It has the look of a brief. With most jocks you just have a pouch and the waist band. ManView added these extra side panels which add a whole new look and feel to what you typically think of when it comes to a jock.  This panel extends all the way around to the back of the jock.  Which I wasn’t sure if I would like at first.  But found out quickly, this was something that I am going to continue to look for when it comes to a jockstrap that I can wear all day every day. I hate it when I decide to wear a jock and the waist band rides up on my back advertising to the whole world that I am wear a jock. What I like about the Campus City Boy jock is that with the extra fabric just below the waistband.  IIt doesn’t seem to ride up and offers that little extra bit of coverage.

The fabric on these is 94% cotton and 6% elastane. This is a great fabric combination if you want to wear these all day. The front pouch I did find to be a bit small, but wasn’t a deal breaker for me at all. The cotton/elastane fabric allowed it to stretch and contour to my body and was very comfortable all day. I love the color combination of these are well. The color is perfect for Halloween and I can’t wait to wear these out next weekend. You can bet I will be buying the red and blue ones as well for all of those patriotic summer holiday’s next year.

PROS:

  • Great fit and true to size
  • Great coverage, yet keeps the integrity of fun of wearing a jockstrap
  • Great fabric for everyday wear, even to the gym!

CONS:

  • Pouch was a bit cramped and might take some time to get used too.

If you have read any of my past reviews (I know it has been a while). You will know that I am a sucker for a great pair of colorful undies.  Something that makes you feel sexy and not defiantly not a afraid to show off. As I was browsing the new collection by Clever these were a pair that I just had to have. They are bright fun and being from Clever, I knew they would be super comfy.

I had the opportunity to review the Clever Sauris Boxer in the coral color, size medium. I have to say that clever delivered and then some with these. When I first saw these online I was instantly attracted to the bright coral color with contrasting blue and green waistband. So before they even came I had pretty high expectations. These came with a few other pairs that I got to review, but I was instantly drawn to these. When I first opened the package I noticed that not only are these bright in color.  But they have almost a mesh like fabric which gives it that little extra punch of sexy. I have tried mesh undies before and haven’t always been a fan, but the fabric was very soft and very stretchy. The waistband is you standard 1.5 inch and is blue in color with the Clever logo in bright green. They have a thin blue piping around the front pouch and everything is topped off with a bright green stitching.

I have worn these a couple times already and they have defiantly moved to my “favorite undies” side of my underwear drawer. They are great to wear all day and for pretty much anything that I can think of. They held up great for me at the gym and were great to wear to work. The fabric is very flexible and moves with you no matter what you are doing. The front pouch is very roomy and didn’t feel like it was crowding my package at all. I also thought that these did a great job of showing off my butt.

The only concern that I might have with these undies is the fabric. I love everything about it, but it feels very thin and I am not sure how long it will hold up. I have washed these multiple times already and so far the fabric has held up, so I hope it continues that way.

PROS:

  • Bright and fun Coloring
  • Comfortable to wear all day
  • Excellent support both in the front and the back

CONS:

  • Thin fabric that might wear out.

I have to say that I am really pleased with what Clever has been doing with their new collection. I know I have been out of the review cycle for a little while. It is nice to see a company that can take a solid color and make it fun and sexy. That is exactly what they did with the Morelo Latin Brief.

I had the opportunity to review the Clever Morelo Latin Brief in coral. It is in a size Medium and for being a brief, I thought this was a good choice. I pretty much will wear anything when it comes to styles of underwear, but the brief is not always at the top of my list. So I was a little apprehensive when I first saw these. The color is great. I think coral is my new favorite color when it comes to undies. But was not sure exactly how these would fit. I usually wear a size Medium across the board. When I first took these out, but mind went directly to the, these look a little small.  I better spend an extra 30 minutes on the treadmill if I want to fit into these. But once I put them on, I was really surprised.

The fabric is a 48% polyester 48% Nylon and 4% spandex mix. So they are super stretchy and it’s like these undies just conformed to my body style. The bright coral color with the blue stitching and piping along the hips was fun and sexy. With the way these fit, they took my butt and gave it a nice shape to the point where even I was like “DAMN”. The front pouch is a little tight as well and that would be the only reason why I wouldn’t recommend these for an “all day” or gym pair of undies.  but if you are going out for the night and want to wear something that adds that little extra bit of sexy under a pair of jeans or shorts, these are totally a pair worth looking into. The waistband is black with a contrasting Clever logo. The waistband is very soft and comfortable.

PROS:

  • Fun Coloring in both Blue and Coral
  • Excellent support in front and back
  • Great fabric that moves with you

CONS:

  • They are tight fitting so would suggest order up a size

2241 (1)Clever really has stepped up its game when it comes to finding great fabric and fun colors and patterns. I and usually up for anything that is brightly colored weather it is a solid color or a pattern. When I found out that I was going to have the opportunity to review the Clever House Boxer. This pattern had me intrigued.

I am reviewing the Clever House boxer in a size medium.  I don’t think I can say enough great things about this pair of undies. They are fun and bright, they fit great and they can be worn for almost every occasion. From the wide and crazy geometric pattern to the solid blue wide elastic logo waistband.  These are a pair that I think everyone should have in the underwear drawer. So let’s start at the top.

The wise logo waistband is super comfortable and soft. I usually don’t like wider waistbands, but this one didn’t bother me at all. The waistband sat perfectly on my waist and wasn’t uncomfortable at all. The main  fabric is a 90% polyester 10% spandex microfiber blend.  It has a little bit of a shiny element to it, and is very comfortable. It stays in place and provides an amazing body defining fit. The front pouch is very roomy and with the stretch fabric, it moves with you all day. The way these are stitched in the back also give your butt a defining lift which for most guys is a defiant plus. Now to the pattern… Even I thought this might be a little crazy for me, but I really like it. The geometric pattern is fun and with all the contrasting colors. It makes for a great look that is fun without being obnoxious. I have worn these a couple times now and have loved every minute I have had these on. The one thing that I would recommend against, since they are a 90% polyester blend.  They aren’t the best to wear while you are at the gym. The fabric doesn’t breath a well as a cotton blend would.  Once you get out of the shower, these are my go to night out on the town pair of boxer briefs,

PROS:2241 (2)

  • Contrasting geometric pattern is fun and sexy
  • Excellent support in front and back
  • Great fabric that defines your body and moves with you

CONS:

  • The 90% polyester fabric doesn’t breathe the best.

Review #4 was the Manview Calor brief in blue.  This was a new brand for me so I had no expectations going in.  When I first opened the package, I liked the colors and style immediately so I was excited to give these a shot.  From what I can find online. These are also available in a green/gray combination.

Lots of driving and some projects that were outside made these VERY sweaty and gave them a run for their money.  I liked the soft fabric and fun styling the minute I pulled these briefs on.  But might not choose them for a really hot, active day or for the gym.  Because it seems the material isn’t made for that and doesn’t dry quickly and I’m not a huge fan of a damp crotch all day!

The sizing online says they run small so buy accordingly.  I am a 31-32 and this medium fit just right.  The 6% spandex provides a good amount of stretch and the 94% cotton makes them soft.

The cut is that of a modern brief. With the front and back panels connected to side panels in contrasting  white fabric.  which makes them just a little different and allows the bright, red piping to really show.  The waistband is larger than usual with MANVIEW written in large lettering. Which was fine for me, but might bother those who like less elastic around their waist.  The back of these briefs was full but did ride up just a little throughout the day.  Not enough to be annoying but I found myself adjusting them every so often.

Overall these are a pair I would recommend. I will continue to wear – just not on overly active days when I want a pair to stay in place without any fuss.  The multiple colors were great and make them stand out in my drawer of over 200 pairs, which is a huge bonus.

PROS

  • Colors
  • Sporty style
  • Soft, comfortable fabric

CONS

  • Back needed to be adjusted throughout the day
  • Larger than usual waistband (only a con for some)

Some underwear can be an adjustment to get used to. The first time I tried a thong I was not convinced. So it took a few more times before I realized how fun and great they could be. I believe the same could be true for this unique pair of Body Aware briefs as well. Most traditionally aligned with a bikini cut Body Aware makes its mark with an unexpected twist of a “string” waist band. Instead of the most traditional elastic ½” band that we’re all fairly used to.

However, it is those strings that will take me a few tries to get comfortable with. Their support is fine, they hold up and hold in but it is the look it that plays with my mind. Perhaps if I have a better “V” then it would be different because I could see it being very sexy on someone. The little ‘windows’ created by the combo of the strings and the bikini cut will just take some getting used to.

All that being said, the pair is moderately comfortable. The nylon feels great on the bum as it gives a very smooth, very silky feel that is always welcome on the rear. The pouch is similar, very smooth. It is a much defined pouch, as one would expect, and given the windows the bulge definitely stands out.

So, if you want a fun and unique pair that might take a time or two to get used too then this is the pair for you. It is fun, it really is. The colors are vibrant and flashy. The cut is one of a kind. The fit is good.

Pros: Fun colors, very comfortable fabric, flashy and fun.

Cons: Slightly odd string band, slits that could take time to get used to

Beau Briefs recommendation: These are an interesting pair that one will either really love or be on the fence about.

Review (1)

For my third review, I wore the Clever Custok Latin Brief in blue.  I own a thong by Clever that I love so I was optimistic going into this review from the start.  The pair comes in three colors (Blue, Gray & Green) and retails for $28.48 on the Clever website.

The mesh-like fabric felt sporty and sexy so I wore these on a long day that would really test them.  When I put them on that morning the first thing I noticed was the great color(s).  While mainly blue, there is a gray pouch. The red waistband with yellow/gold lettering and fun, contrast stitching.   After a long work day at the office, I ran some errands around town and even went for a jog.  These briefs really got a workout and held up great!  I forgot I was wearing them for the most part, which for me is a sign you’re wearing a great pair of underwear.

When it comes to sizing, these do run a bit small as their own sizing chart indicates.  So there shouldn’t be any surprises.  The medium fits a 30-32 waist and being a 31-32, they worked for me but certainly didn’t leave much extra room.  If you’re on the larger end of your size spectrum, you might go up one size.

The fabric is 73% nylon and 27% spandex.  Which gives this pair great stretch. With a cut that definitely shows you off the perfect amount and offers great support.  The seam going up the back defines your butt which is a blessing for those of us that can use all the help we can get!  The bright colors were in an unusual combination that made me love them even more.  Definitely not your typical briefs.

PROS

  • Colors
  • Great fabric
  • Sexy but practical cut/style

CONS

  • Fit may be a bit small for guys who are super well endowed in the front or back
  • Not inexpensive (but typical for designer underwear)

My second pair of Manview underwear for review was the Craven Jockstrap in red.  After a positive experience with a pair of briefs last week by Manview, I was anxious to give these a shot.  My first impression was that the fabric felt fantastic. andI liked the modern “fashion” styling rather than a classic jockstrap.  Jocks are not my favorite generally. So I was pleasantly surprised when these ended up being my favorite pair for review yet!

I decided to wear these on a run rather than as underwear since that’s how I typically use a jock.  I think these could easily be worn as daily underwear or for lounging around the house if that’s your style.  It seems that many jocks now are made for fun/play rather than to hold up and be supportive during exercise. So I was really gonna test these!

As a 31-32 waist, these mediums fit just right so I would say they are true to size.  Their chart says 30-32.  The pouch is 85% nylon and 15% spandex so there was plenty of stretch. It hugged everything nicely – both visually and for support.

When pulled these on, the thing I liked most was the fabric – being really soft and supportive.  The bright red color was great. Along with the contrast stitching and elastic around the pouch.  The back straps staying in place during a 4 mile walk/run with very little adjustment needed.  They actually held up as a jock!  I am not a huge fan of classic straps with the really wide waistband and basic elastic straps that scratch a bit.  These were a great modern take that also did their job and I have to say, made me look pretty good through my shorts.   🙂

One change I would make (and it is small) is that the front panel. It is a bit wide at the top and the navy blue elastic rolled under almost immediately.  It didn’t change the comfort level, but it is a nice design feature that got lost.

PROS

  • great fabric
  • fun color combinations made them unique
  • excellent support

CONS

  • elastic around pouch rolled under

First impression of the BodyAware Light Weight Rip Stop Joggers was this joggers remind me of something out of a Missy Elliot video. However, I wanted to keep an open mind. I really liked the textured finished on the joggers. They were also very lightweight, and I loved how the length was perfect for me. I also liked how the elastic on the bottom was the perfect tightness.

I wore the joggers around the house, outside to walk the dog, and on a jog with the dog as well. There is not much in the way of support other then the elastic around the waist and the ankles… I did how ever like to wear the joggers with the ankles pushed up over my calf’s.

The sizing on the joggers was spot on with the medium size I got. They fit great! However, there is not support in the crotch area of the joggers its just two side panels stitch together.  Having said that, they would be great to wear to the gym and you would not have to worry about showing off too much. It’s a good and bad thing.

Pros:

Super lightweight

Great sizing

Love the textured pattern

Looks like you’re wearing a plastic

Initial impression of the BodyAware Showstopper Bodysuit was this is the same bright soft material as the leggings. This was the last item I had tried on of the three I had received. I had gotten the Neon Yellow color, which looked more like a very bright neon green.  Like the Neon Softleggings, and it had a hot pink trim along the openings. This bodysuit comes in two other colors, Hot Pink (which has the neon orange trim) and Neon Orange (which has the neon yellow trim).

I have worn these condo around the condo as well as went out to the bars with them. They held up very well walking around the condo and while at the bar.

For sizing, the website says a Large is 34-36” in the waist and 39-41” in the chest, so I had gotten the large. I believe this is the standard sizing for a body suit, and it fit me very well.

For likes and dislikes of this bodysuit; I really enjoyed the fit and color. It really shows off the chest, package and butt, plus with the bright color you stand out in a dark bar.

RSH_A_6My first reaction to the Up-Front brief was it leave nothing to the imagination. It’s a very lightweight sheer material. I was not wrong in my first reaction. I was however, completely in love with the color of a light blue almost robins egg.

Once I wore the Up-Front Briefs even for a few minutes a few things became very apparent… One, I love how they felt on my skin. Two I needed to trim up quite a bit.

I love to wear these under my slacks for work. They have a way of making any man feel very sexy while wearing any pair of pants.

I got the large size in briefs and im very glad I did. The briefs have a full back, which I love. They have a very nice pouch in front that almost pushes up your manhood, but not in another brands too much way. Its just the right about of showing off.

Pros:

  • color and fit
  • accent stitching
  • full seat

Cons:

  • None

  • Daily fit – 10
  • Sizing – 9

My First Impression of the bodysuit was how sheer it was and how soft it felt against my skin. This was the first piece I had ever tried on from BodyAware. Since this way my first item from BodyAware I wanted to go with a classic black color.

I have wore this item around the house several times and everything I told myself. “Wow… I really love the way this feels.” I wore this to take the dog out side on our back deck since the genital areas were not mesh but a solid black color.

I went with the Medium size and im glad I did. It fit my body like a glove and showed off what I wanted it to. It showed off my obliques and my arms very well. It also showed off my backside very well. Because of the cut in the seat of the body suit was made for a slender body frame like mine. If you are a larger man I would recommend a larger size…

im 6’1 and 175, so a shorter wider man would need a larger size. This garment was made for lean muscular type man such as myself. Some of the things I liked about this garment were the comfort, how it was cut, how it showed off my torso.  I only had two things I would improve on this garment. One is how the front genital area is cut. Its as it it was bade out of a box of fabric that’s not flattering to the male antimony. The second is how the back of the garment is constricted. While I understand what it was put together this way, I feel like there were several ways to solve this problem.

Pros:

  • Great feeling material
  • Excellent cut to the front of the garment
  • Love the two part sheer and full coverage areas

Cons:

  • How the back two piece attached
  • The front crotch area

Ratings:

  • Daily fit- 10 amazing!

Reviews-

Male Power underwear is a brand that I had not heard of before. When I received the samples I was a bit deflated. I typically dislike mesh underwear because it’s uncomfortable on my naughty bits. But SURPRISE!  Amazing! The black mesh boxer brief is my favorite pair. They are uber comfy and the mesh makes me feel sexy since it is slightly revealing.

The cuts on all the styles are great and I asked for styles that had room for a big booty. Check! They all fit well and only one brief rides up slightly. I think for anyone with a more normal butt proportion they would be fine. Personally I like a brief or a boxer brief. The jock was my least favorite style because it didn’t give a lot of support. There were odd straps in the front that didn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe I’m a traditionalist when it comes to jocks, but this was slightly overdesigned.

I have worn them multiple times now and they are super comfortable all day. They hold up well after several washings. The elastic and the mesh are like new. I feel supported with just the right amount of slutty.

Overall I would definitely recommend this brand, especially the boxer briefs. I can’t say enough about the quality of the mesh. So soft and slinky. Love it.

Pros:

  • Comfortable
  • Snug but stretchy
  • Sheer material for sexual appeal

Cons:

  • Colors (black and green not my personal fave)
  • Jocks are too tricked out

Male Power furnished the Sport Mini Short – Navy (top), Attacker Mini Short – Green (middle) and Pocket Jock – Red (bottom pic).

RSH_PP_11My initial impression of these tights was that they are very bright and it was a soft material. This is the first item I have tried on by BodyAware. It comes in neon pink and neon yellow, I went with the neon yellow, which looks like a very bright neon green color to me.

I have worn these around the condo mainly; I believe they can be used for lounging attire and wearing at a bar. The fabric and stitching held up very well while walking around the condo, sitting/lounging and even doing some lunges (to see how the fabric would move).

The size I got was a large, and it fit my waist, thighs, calves & butt very well. I am a huge fan of leg day at the gym, so my thighs are not skinny, and the material hugged them very well. The sizing I believe is very accurate. So if you normally wear a large, then get a large; if you sometimes wear a large and sometimes a medium. I would recommend go with the large.

Some of the things that I liked about these are that the material is extremely comfortable. They are very form fitting; and that the color is a very fun bright color. The main thing I did not like about it was how they had done the crotch pouch. If you are standing your package fits in it, but once you start to move or sit then it doesn’t and becomes very unflattering. With how the fabric is, if I wanted to wear them to the gym then I would have to have a jockstrap on under it. Which is kind of a pro & a con. I would like to have seen was a better cut in the crotch area.

Pros:

  • Fun bright color
  • Good Sizing
  • Amazing Material

Cons:

  • Cut around the crotch

Pleep is a new member of UNB, we have more reviews of him soon! Also Photos by RSH Photography

EW0308 (1)I just love getting underwear from Ergowear to review. The pouch is one of my favorite. While I’m still making up my mind with the Feel line (read the past review). Its been one of my favorites in underwear for many years. The new pair I get to review is the Trio Brief. It was just released back when the new swimwear was released!

My first thing I love is the color. I’m a big fan of green underwear. Let’s face it we all have our favorite colors in underwear. This pair is a mix of green and blue! Its made as a bikini (but some may not call it a bikini, you know who you are out there). Meaning it’s a waistband about 1.5 inches thick with only a pouch and the back.

I wore this on a lazy day. I amdit it, I did absouletly nothing the day I wore these. I had high hopes that they would be an amazing lounge pair. You know we all need underwear that does well when active. Its equally important to have a great pair when you are having a day to veg and binge watch your favorite TV show or play video games.

When I slid them on I really loved the pouch. It felt great on and contained everything. The colors were also fun on! Let’s talk about this pouch. The front is just the pouch and the waist band. There is nothing on the sides. This can sometimes cause issues with the pouch loosing its shape. This pair never had any issues with that. It held everything together!

The materials felt good too. It’s not as amazing as the Sauve collection but still very good. The back could have been a bit bigger, it didn’t ride up but did ride up a little. So if you have a butt you may not like this pair.

We must talk sizing! As always if you go see their sizing chart you will have no problem finding the right size for you. Over the years they have been pretty consistent on the sizes they offer. I can’t remember anytime I have received something that wasn’t the size it was offered as (in inches that is).

Pros:

  • Its my favorite color green
  • Skimpy brief Cut
  • Great sizing

Cons:

  • Back may not fit all
  • The cut may be too skimpy to others

Ratings:

  • Daily Fit – 8
  • Sizing – 9
  • Construction – 9
  • Styling – 9
  • Daily Performance – 8
  • Overall – 8.6

EW0337-3This is the second of the series of the Vermouth collection from Ergowear. The previous review was posted last week of the Vermouth X3D Brief. Which is now one of my favorite! With this amazing review I was happy to try the Feel version of the pair.

The Feel version has it’s own pouch. It’s a very interesting design that can look odd when you see it. The X3D has the contoured pouch, the Feel has a more pleated pouch. It’s a totally different design on how to solve the problem of the pouch. My hat is off to trying something new and different.

I wore this pair on a regular day. Like the X3D review the fabric is amazing. The super soft fabric is one of my favorites of this year. The pouch in the Feel was a little different to me. Not saying it was bad but different. The support and design was something to get used too. The X3D just felt super natural to me where as the Feel pouch was more designed and a bit constricting to me.

The feel line has a great following for Ergowear. My review is just my own opinion. It’s a different option for a pouch for those who love it. I am not one of those. Did I hate it? Not really It will take a few wears over the next few weeks to get used too it before I totally make up my mind. The pair is very well made, Ergowear never lets down on quality.

As mentioned above it felt ok through the day. I guess I wanted a bit more support and room in the pouch. The rest of the pair felt great. The fuller coverage in the back is perfect. It’s very breathable and perfect for a hot day.

Sizing for Ergowear is always spot on. As mentioned in previous reviews, they have the best sizing chart on the market. If you follow it you should have no issues getting the right size. My XL fit pretty well. I hope to be back down to a Large soon but it wasn’t too tight or constricting in the waist.

Pros:

  • Super soft fabric
  • Loved the color
  • Ergowear is always well made

Cons:

  • The pouch was a bit constricting
  • The color may not be for everyone

Ratings:

  • Daily Fit – 8
  • Sizing – 9
  • Construction – 10
  • Styling – 8
  • Daily Performance – 7
