Building confidence, creating connections, and inspiring other guys—one conversation at a time.
There is something I’ve come to believe after nearly two decades of running Underwear News Briefs: Every guy has a story worth telling, and sometimes sharing that story can change someone else’s life.
When I started UNB back in 2008, I wanted to create a place where guys could discover amazing underwear, learn about different brands, and celebrate something that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.
But over the years, something much bigger happened.
- I discovered a community.
- A community of guys from all walks of life who share a passion for underwear, swimwear, spandex, and expressing themselves through what they wear.
- Some guys have been wearing bikinis, thongs, jocks, and singlets for decades. Others are just discovering what they love. Some are completely comfortable wearing a swim brief on a crowded beach, while others are still working up the courage to wear their first pair outside their home.
And you know what?
Every single one of those guys belongs here.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned through UNB is that confidence doesn’t happen overnight. Sometimes it takes years to become comfortable with something you love. Sometimes it takes finding friends who share your interests. And sometimes all it takes is hearing another guy say, “I went through the same thing.”
That’s why our podcasts have become such an important part of what we do.
I don’t want to create shows where we simply talk about underwear or spandex. I want to create conversations that bring people together, encourage guys to embrace who they are, and remind everyone that they aren’t alone.
And that’s where YOU come in.
Why Sharing Your Story Matters
Think about the first time you discovered something you loved wearing.
Maybe it was a bikini brief you saw in a department store. Maybe you discovered thongs online. Perhaps you watched a swimmer in a Speedo or a wrestler wearing a singlet and thought, “I would love to wear that.”
- For some guys, it was an exciting discovery.
- For others, it was something they kept secret for years.
- You might have worried about being judged, questioned what your interests meant, or wondered whether there were other guys out there who felt the same way.
- Before social media and online communities, finding people who shared these interests could be incredibly difficult. Even today, with all the ways we can connect, there are still guys who feel isolated.
I hear from men who have spent years hiding their underwear collections, who have never worn their favorite swimwear in public, or who would love to wear spandex but are afraid of what others might think.
Now imagine what hearing your story could mean to one of those guys.
- Maybe your experience gives someone the courage to buy his first thong.
- Maybe hearing about your first trip to the beach in a swim brief convinces another guy to leave the board shorts at home.
- Maybe your story about wearing a singlet to the gym inspires someone who’s wanted to try it for years.
- These might seem like small things, but for the person taking that first step, they can mean everything.
This is why I want to grow our podcast community and bring even more voices into the conversation.
We have several shows, each with its own focus, but they all share one mission:
Helping guys feel confident, comfortable, and proud of what they love wearing.

Brief Talk Podcast
Celebrating Our Love of Underwear
Brief Talk is where it all comes together.
This show is about the guys who love underwear, the experiences that shaped their interests, and the connections we’ve made along the way.
I’ve always believed that underwear is about more than just something you put on every morning. For many of us, it’s an expression of our personality, our confidence, and sometimes even our identity.
And everyone has a different journey.
Some of us grew up in an era when men’s underwear choices were extremely limited. Others discovered bikinis and thongs through catalogs, magazines, advertising, or the internet.
Some guys have always worn whatever they wanted without giving it a second thought.
Others took years to build the confidence to wear something beyond traditional boxers or briefs.
I want to hear about all of those experiences.
Who Am I Looking For?
I’m looking for guys who love men’s underwear, including bikinis, briefs, thongs, jockstraps, pouches, and everything in between.
I want to talk with guys who have been collecting underwear for decades, guys who have recently discovered designer underwear, and everyone in between.
- What was the first pair that made you realize underwear could be something special?
- Did you ever feel like you had to hide your interest?
- How has your underwear journey changed over the years?
- Has wearing the underwear you love helped improve your confidence or body image?
- And perhaps most importantly, what would you say to someone who’s just beginning his own journey?
Your story doesn’t have to be extraordinary to be meaningful.
Sometimes the most powerful stories come from everyday guys who simply decided to stop worrying about what others think and start wearing what makes them happy.

Brief Talk After Dark
Exploring the More Personal Side of What We Love
Let’s face it. Sometimes our interests in underwear, gear, and clothing go beyond fashion.
And that’s perfectly okay.
Brief Talk After Dark is where we have more open conversations about the personal, intimate, and sometimes fetish-related sides of underwear and gear.
For some guys, underwear is simply something they love wearing. For others, there’s a deeper connection involving attraction, identity, confidence, sexuality, or self-expression.
Those experiences deserve a place in the conversation, too.
One thing I’ve always believed is that we shouldn’t shame people for what they enjoy, especially when they’re expressing themselves in healthy, consensual ways.
Many guys have spent years keeping their interests private because they worried about how friends, partners, or society might react.
Some have never talked openly about their experiences.
Others have discovered entire communities that helped them feel accepted for the first time.
Who Am I Looking For?
I’m interested in talking with guys who are comfortable discussing the more personal side of their interests.
That might include underwear fetishes, gear, leather, spandex, relationships, or how clothing connects with confidence and sexuality.
- I’m particularly interested in the journey.
- When did you first recognize your interest?
- Did you struggle to understand or accept it?
- How did you discover that other guys shared your interests?
- Have online communities or friendships helped you become more comfortable with yourself?
- And what advice would you give someone who is still afraid to talk about what they enjoy?
I want After Dark to be a place for open, honest conversations without judgment.
You don’t have to share anything you’re uncomfortable discussing, and you can use a pseudonym if you prefer.
The goal isn’t to shock anyone. It’s to create understanding, connection, and acceptance.
Because nobody should feel alone simply because their interests are different from someone else’s.

Stretching the Truth
Building a Stronger Spandex Community
This is a show I’m especially excited about because I believe the spandex community has so many incredible stories waiting to be told.
For some guys, their love of spandex started with superheroes. For others, it was wrestling, cycling, gymnastics, swimming, dancewear, or simply discovering how amazing a pair of tights feels.
- But for many of us, there was also a period when we wondered whether anyone else shared that passion.
- Maybe you bought a wrestling singlet but were too nervous to wear it.
- Maybe you loved the look of compression tights but always covered them with shorts.
- Maybe you dreamed of wearing a full-body spandex suit but didn’t know anyone who would understand.
- Or maybe you’ve been confidently wearing spandex for years and have built some incredible friendships because of it.
I want to hear your story.
One of the things I love most about the spandex community is the variety of guys involved.
We have athletes, cyclists, wrestlers, cosplayers, collectors, and guys who simply love wearing spandex because it makes them feel good.
We might have discovered it in different ways, but we share something special.
Who Am I Looking For?
I’m looking for guys who love wrestling singlets, leggings, tights, cycling gear, compression clothing, zentai, superhero suits, dancewear, and other forms of spandex.
I want to hear about your first experiences, the outfits you love, and the challenges you’ve overcome.
- Have you worn spandex in public?
- Did it take time to build that confidence?
- Have you made friendships through Spandex Party or other communities?
- Has wearing spandex helped you become more comfortable with your body?
- And what would you say to the guy who has a pair of tights hidden in his closet but is afraid to wear them outside?
That last question is especially important to me.
Because somewhere out there is a guy who wants to be part of this community but doesn’t know how to take that first step.
Your story might be exactly what he needs to hear.
I want Stretching the Truth to help build a stronger spandex community where guys encourage each other, celebrate what they love, and make friendships that extend beyond a screen.
A community where the guy who’s been wearing spandex for 30 years can inspire someone who’s just discovering it.
A community where we can share our experiences without worrying about judgment.
And a community where everyone feels welcome.

Brief Tales
Sometimes One Personal Story Can Make All the Difference
One of the things I’ve learned from doing podcasts is that some of the most meaningful conversations happen when guys simply tell their stories.
That’s the idea behind Brief Tales.
Not everyone wants to participate in a big group conversation or discuss a specific topic. Sometimes you just want to sit down and talk about your personal journey.
And that’s exactly what Brief Tales is about.
It’s a chance to explore how you discovered your love of underwear, swimwear, or spandex and how that interest has become part of your life.
- Maybe you grew up in the 1970s or 1980s when men’s bikinis were much more visible than they are today.
- Maybe you discovered thongs in the 1990s and spent years searching for brands that made styles you loved.
- Perhaps your journey started just last year when you finally bought that first pair of swim briefs.
Whatever your story, I want to hear it.
Who Am I Looking For?
Everyone.
Seriously.
You don’t need an enormous collection, a big social media following, or an incredible story filled with dramatic events.
You just need a willingness to talk about your experiences.
I’d love to hear from guys who have spent decades exploring their interests, as well as those who are just starting out.
I especially want to hear from guys who might think their story isn’t interesting enough.
Because I’ve had conversations with men who initially told me they had nothing special to share, only to discover that their experiences were exactly the kinds of stories other guys needed to hear.
You might think your journey is ordinary, but to someone else, it could be inspiring.

Free the Bulge
More Than a Campaign — A Community Movement
If you’ve followed UNB recently, you’ve probably heard me talking about Free the Bulge.
This is something that has become very personal to me.
At its heart, Free the Bulge is about encouraging guys to stop hiding behind expectations and start wearing what makes them happy.
Whether that’s a swim brief at the beach, a thong by the pool, tights at the gym, or a wrestling singlet, I want guys to feel comfortable expressing themselves.
For years, men have been told there are certain things we’re supposed to wear and certain things we shouldn’t.
We’re told that some styles are too revealing, too different, or only appropriate for certain body types.
And I think it’s time we challenge those ideas.
You shouldn’t have to look like a fitness model to wear a Speedo.
- You shouldn’t need six-pack abs to enjoy a thong.
- And you shouldn’t feel embarrassed about wearing spandex simply because someone else doesn’t understand it.
- Free the Bulge isn’t about showing off or seeking attention.
- It’s about confidence, body acceptance, and having the freedom to make your own choices.
- I want these ideas to be part of every podcast we produce.
- When someone shares how they overcame body-image struggles, that’s Free the Bulge.
- When a guy talks about wearing a swim brief in public for the first time, that’s Free the Bulge.
- When someone describes finding friends who accepted his love of spandex, that’s Free the Bulge.
And when someone hears those stories and decides to take a chance on something he’s always wanted to do, that’s exactly why we’re doing this.
You Don’t Have to Be an Expert to Be on the Podcast
One of the biggest challenges I face when recruiting podcast guests is convincing guys that their stories are worth hearing.
- I hear the same things all the time.
- “I’m not that interesting.”
- “I’ve never done a podcast before.”
- “I don’t know what I’d talk about.”
- “I’m too shy.”
- Or my personal favorite: “Nobody wants to hear my story.”
I’m here to tell you that you’re wrong about that last one.
Some of the best conversations I’ve had have been with guys who were nervous before we started recording.
Once we get talking, the stories begin to flow.
They remember their first pair of designer underwear, the first time they wore a thong, or that moment when they finally found the courage to wear a Speedo on the beach.
Suddenly, we’re talking like old friends.
That’s exactly the atmosphere I want to create.
Our podcasts aren’t formal interviews where you need perfectly prepared answers.
They’re conversations.
We record remotely using Riverside, so you can join from just about anywhere. You don’t need professional podcasting equipment or previous experience.
And if privacy is important to you, we can use your social media name or a pseudonym.
I want you to feel comfortable, respected, and excited about sharing your experiences.
Let’s Build Something Bigger Together
When I look at everything we’ve accomplished with UNB, I’m proud of the connections we’ve made.
But I also think about everything we can still do.
I want us to build a community where guys support each other regardless of their age, body type, sexual orientation, or experience.
Where someone who’s been wearing bikinis for 40 years can share his experiences with someone who’s just bought his first pair.
Where a straight guy who loves spandex feels just as welcome as a gay or bisexual guy.
Where we celebrate guys who proudly wear swim briefs on the beach while also encouraging those who haven’t quite found that confidence yet.
And where people feel comfortable sharing their interests without fear of being ridiculed.
I want us to stop thinking of these communities as just places to share pictures and start recognizing the friendships, support, and personal connections we can create.
Don’t get me wrong. I love seeing guys show off their latest underwear purchases, favorite spandex outfits, or beach adventures.
But there’s something incredibly powerful about learning the story behind those pictures.
- What gave that guy the courage to wear that outfit?
- What challenges did he overcome?
- How long did it take him to feel comfortable?
- And what would he tell someone who’s where he was five, ten, or twenty years ago?
Those are the stories I want to capture.
Because long after a social media post disappears from someone’s feed, a personal story can continue inspiring people.
I Need Your Help to Make This Happen
I can’t build this community alone.
I need guys who are willing to step forward and share their experiences.
I need the longtime underwear collectors, the thong lovers, the jockstrap fans, the Speedo guys, the spandex enthusiasts, and the guys who are just beginning to discover these communities.
I need people of different ages, backgrounds, body types, and experiences.
And I especially want to hear from guys who have never considered being on a podcast.
You don’t need to have a perfect body. You don’t need to be an influencer. And you certainly don’t need to have everything figured out.
You just need to be you.
If you’ve been part of these communities for years, think about how much your experiences could help someone who’s just starting out.
And if you’re new, don’t underestimate the value of sharing what you’re going through right now.
Your excitement, uncertainty, discoveries, and challenges are all part of the journey.
How to Get Involved
If you’d like to be a guest on one of our podcasts, reach out to me through UNB or send me a message on social media.
Let me know a little about yourself, what you enjoy wearing, and which show interests you.
You can also tell me about a particular experience you’d love to share.
We’ll find the right show and have a conversation about what you’d like to discuss.
There’s no pressure to share anything you want to keep private.
And if you know someone who would make a great guest, encourage him to reach out.
Sometimes all it takes is a friend saying, “You should tell your story.”
Your Story Could Be the One Someone Needs to Hear
I want to leave you with one thought.
Somewhere out there is a guy who loves underwear, swimwear, or spandex but feels like he’s the only one.
- Maybe he’s embarrassed.
- Maybe he’s afraid of being judged.
- Maybe he’s spent years wearing what other people expect instead of what makes him happy.
- Or maybe he’s just waiting for someone to tell him that it’s okay to be himself.
What if that someone is you?
- What if your story is the reason he finally puts on that pair of tights without shorts?
- What if your experience gives him the courage to wear a swim brief on his next vacation?
- What if hearing you talk about your journey makes him realize that there’s an entire community of guys who understand exactly how he feels?
You might never know the impact your story has.
But that doesn’t mean the impact isn’t real.
That’s why I keep doing UNB.
That’s why I believe in these podcasts.
And that’s why I’m asking you to be part of them.
Let’s create a community that celebrates confidence instead of conformity.
Let’s encourage each other instead of judging.
Let’s share our stories, build lasting friendships, and inspire the next generation of guys to wear what they love.
Because when one guy finds the confidence to be himself, he makes it a little easier for the next guy to do the same.
Your story matters. Your voice matters. And our community is stronger when we share both.
I hope you’ll join me.
