My name is Peter. I am 25 years old and I currently reside in El Monte, California. My love for underwear started around the age of 16 when I was still a junior in high school. I purchased a pair of Joe Boxer boxer shorts. Soon afterwards seeing the models on the packaging promoting guys to have fun in their underwear. It got me thinking of what other brands there were out there aside from all the Fruit of the Loom and Hanes. I would see guys wearing in the locker room during gym class.
I was always hesitant to buy anything other than boxers. Even boxer briefs was me “pushing the envelope.” On account of anything other than that wouldn’t seem masculine. Living at home with conservative parents made my curiosity in exploring underwear even greater. It was only years later during my first year in college that, through social media, I discovered the site Andrew Christian. I was intrigued by the idea of their underwear having a pouch that would support your package. Not crush it like traditional tightey whities. Untraditional cuts and colors you would never find at your local Walmart, this site had it all.
The Andrew Christian Retro Pop boxer was my first ever purchase of underwear. Which wasn’t from your run of the mill retail store. Since I no longer lives at home, it made the anticipation of trying it on even greater. Oh man, the style, the support. The emphasis that boxer placed on my front side. As well as the back made me mad that I didn’t order more undies my first purchase. It was a pair that for once made me feel sexy and free. Yes it was a pair of boxers but in true Andrew Christian style, the underwear held everything in place and more.
After that pair, I started looking for any other site that could offer me similar choices. Maybe even something more provocative? It was by exploring the Internet, that I discovered many other sites and brands to choose from. Whereas in high school I was mortified to try anything new. I now feel proud and confident to undress in the gym locker room and show off my undies. In hopes that other guys out here either straight or gay will get the courage to feel proud by what they wear underneath their clothes. Underwear is the first piece of clothing you try on before you start your day. It deserves just as much attention as the rest of your outfit.
My favorite pair of underwear at the moment is the Wonderjock Pro trunk from Aussiebum. I bought it in Hipster Red about one month ago. I am in love with this undie from the land down under, which is exactly where this trunk makes me feel most happiest. What intrigued me most about this pair was the Wonderjock Technology that enhances the look of a man’s junk. With a pouch that holds and supports your package at the same time. Made from 90% cotton and 10% Elastane memory yarn.
My pair I bought was in a Hipster Red trunk. The simplicity of the trunk’s design on the outside is what I liked about it. Due to the fact that the enhancing pouch is what the pair is all about. To add anything to the trunk would have been overkill. The blue and light grey waist band boasting the Aussiebum logo gives it the perfect touch. Not too simple yet not too plain either. For me to like a pair of underwear. The waistband has to have that right amount of flash to it. That will make me proud to show off the brand depending on who is around me and this undie did not disappoint in that area. This trunk for me really helped enhance not only my package but my thighs and butt as well. The cut of the trunk in the leg area is one that makes your thighs look more thick (in my opinion). While the back of the trunk is snug and supportive that makes my butt look nice and perky.
The cotton material on this trunk is unbelievably comfortable. It is pretty stretchy and soft. Key factors that make or break my underwear purchases. The material really does make me feel as if I’m forgetting undies at all, it’s that soft. This pair offers me that tight and sexy support throughout the day. That gives me that extra pep in my step while I am at work or on a date. When it comes to sizing, this pair is pretty true to size except in my case. Yes the underwear is exceptional in all the right areas but my case the area of concern was the leg area. I have thick thighs and a pretty big butt. That sometimes cause me to have to adjust the leg area of the trunk both front and back from time to time. It is a small problem but it is noticeable to me nonetheless.
So if you have a little more junk in your trunk and/or thick lower half, I would suggest bumping up a size. Other than that, I am sure that Aussiebum got their sizing right in this department. In my case it was just a little too snug at times. Still my favorite pair at the end of the day though. I was surfing Facebook and there was something that caught my eye. It was, of all things, a Facebook ad for the new MeUndies Valentine’s underwear. It is a limited edition of Keith Haring. Who just happened to be one of my favorite artists of all time. In his most popular period was the late 80’s and early 90’s. He died in 1990, but his amazing art lives on.
MeUndies has taken his art and turned into amazing underwear. “In true Keith Haring style, this print is a bold celebration of love, featuring his classic work, “Haring Heart”. ” It really has been a while since I have seen much about him and his art. Back in the day he used to get political and was one of the first to really do art to bring attention to the AIDS epidemic. Which is in fact what he died from.
His art has always been something that has spoken to me. It may not be for everyone but it takes me back to my younger days and just makes me smile. His art has always spoken to me. and this is a pair I MUST buy! Its too good to pass up. Keith Haring’s art has always focused around a heart. It’s one of the common themes that runs through his work.
Ok enough of the Art lesson. I get geeked out when I see his stuff. This is very unexpected from a Valentine’s Day pair. You think of red, black or something with hearts. Hey guys, I’m Bryce. You know me from doing the video reviews on the site for the past year. I am a Portland kid who loves the outdoors and anything plaid.
So right now my favorite pair of underwear that I own….and there are hundreds of pairs…is trunks by American Eagle. I recently started shopping at American Eagle and of course had to check out their underwear. So the pairs I have bought are 96% cotton and 4% elastane. The material is really soft to the touch and comfortable to wear.
American Eagle makes lots of fun colors and prints of their underwear. I bought pairs that have ski lifts on them, a pair that is trees, and one that is covered in Christmas lights. It is a fun way to get a color and pattern on your underwear without being a traditional pattern you would see. They also put out underwear designs to go along with the seasons.
The pairs I have are trunks, but there are several different styles to choose from. American Eagle makes trunks, boxers, and briefs. I love my trunks because they come in two different lengths. I have some of the 3 inch trunks, and some 6 inch trunks. The longer ones are good for moving around a lot since they don’t ride up much.
What I love is just how comfortable the under is. It is smooth against the skin and most of the pairs wick moisture away from the body when you get warm. I love having a comfortable pair on that you can forget you are wearing them.
The pairs fit amazing. I got smalls which are what I normally wear in every other brand. The material stretches nicely to fit over my bubble butt. The pair didn’t become too stretched out either, from my movements throughout the day. The one thing is there isn’t much of a pouch, so for guys who need that, these might not be the most comfortable.
You can get the underwear at any American Eagle store inside most malls in the United States. They also have them online at ae.com. I got mine on clearance, and paid around $4 a pair for them. Most of the time the pairs are on sale as well for buy one, get one half price.

So first things first, a disclaimer: I have not worn boxer briefs for a very long time (Below the Belt furnished this pair for review). That being said, if I were to go back to boxer briefs Below The Belt would definitely be a brand I would get into. The first and instantaneous thing that you will notice is the quality. The fabric is a strong blend that will not easily wear down. Everything from the stitching to the pipping is extremely sturdy but not in an inflexible way. It remains comfortable while strong.
The colors and look of the pair I have are eye catching and bold. I love a bold, in your face color and this blue is just that. Bold. The waist band is simple, not a ton of style points getting awarded for the band but that’s okay in this context. Not every brand needs the flashy, trendy band if that’s not what they’re all about.
The feel is comfortable and very secure. The sizing is good for the waist and fairly good for the thighs. Some of us have a bit more on the thigh and it makes the leg part of this tighter but not uncomfortably so. Just very secure, if you will. The comfort is consistent throughout the day, no rubbing or anything. And again, I haven’t worn boxer briefs for ages so getting used to the little bit extra down the leg took a second.
Overall this is a really solid pair of underwear. And I do mean solid in multiple sense of the word. The brand is good. The structure and quality is top notch. The look and feel are both above average as well. They do a great job of taking care of everything…Below The Belt.

Thong: it can be a scary word for many men. There are a lot of stigmas associated with men wearing thongs. I’m sure you’ve heard them. I’ve read and heard dozens of times how only gay or feminine men wear thongs. Real men only choose between boxers and briefs. Luckily we live in a world where underwear is a personal choice. Isn’t anyone’s business unless you make it his or her business. Therefore, it’s time to drop the stereotypes and wear what you want to wear. If you’ve always been interested wearing thongs. Hopefully the next few paragraphs will help you get over your fears and finally make the jump into the wonderful world of thongs. I’m glad I made the jump many years ago, and I haven’t looked back since.
I first started wearing thongs when I was in high school. I vividly remember buying my first thongs and being scared to go to the cash register and check out. “What will the cashier think?” kept running through my mind, and “What if I know the cashier?” Keep in mind this is small town Oklahoma we are talking about here. So its not exactly the most open minded of people in the world. Oklahoma is always a red state, after all. Regardless, I used to go to a discount store quite frequently for CDs. Every now and then they got in good clothes shipments. One shipment was clothing from International Male. You can imagine how excited that made me. Another shipment was underwear, and some of that underwear included white cotton thongs. I don’t remember what brand they were, or if there even was a brand. I remember buying five pairs of white cotton thongs for a dollar each. Being very excited to get home and try them. Prior to that, I had no experience with thongs. Now, I can’t say I had the greatest first experience with thongs. I was a little overweight at the time and selected a size that probably was not correct. The thongs were not the most comfortable. The string in the back caused chafing and the underwear became way too uncomfortable to wear. It was a few years before I would try thongs again.
Enter in an underwear store that used to be open in downtown Tulsa. I was in college now, and not knowing very many people in Tulsa. I felt much more free to stop in at the store and shop whenever I wanted on my way to and from Arkansas. Where I went to college. Again, not exactly the most liberal of places. It still allowed me to feel freer, and that’s what it’s all about, right? Anyway, I would stop in at this store in Tulsa and the guys that owned it would help me pick out new underwear. They had all kinds of brands I had yet to hear of: Go Softwear, Jocko and many more. It was at that store that I was convinced to wear thongs again and where my love truly developed and took off. The owners helped me find thongs that were comfortable and made me truly enjoy wearing them. Ever since then, I’ve experimented with different brands, fabrics, colors and designs. Now I’m sharing my knowledge with you.
If you’re ready to start wearing thongs, here are some great pairs you should start with to get a feel for them:
One of the most basic and best thongs to get started with is the Calvin Klein Body Thong. It comes in white or black and is made of the same great cotton as Calvin Klein’s other Body underwear. If you are a fan of Calvin Klein hip briefs, this is a great starter thong for you. It fits like a pair of briefs with the same waistband and pouch. The only difference is the strap up the back. The pouch can loosen up a little bit during wear through the day. But the strap will never cause discomfort during wear. It’s a perfect pair to really get used to wearing a thong. What it feels like because there’s very little discomfort involved, even for first-time wearers.
If you’re looking to start with something more standard in the thong world. You can’t go wrong with the Classic Cotton G-String from N2N Bodywear. The thongs come in a variety of great colors. They are made of super soft cotton for ultimate comfort in the front and back. The pouch in the front is more form fitting than the Calvin Klein Body Thongs. Everything fits a little closer to the body. You will be able to feel the strap more in the back with these. Once you are used to it, you won’t even know you are wearing them. These thongs feel and fit more like bikini briefs. If you are used to those, this is a fantastic pair of underwear to make your first thong.
If you’re someone who likes your underwear to be truly versatile from work to gym and bed. You can’t go wrong starting with the Jack Adams Sprinter 1.0 Thong. This is a thong that is truly designed with the busy man in mind. The front pouch fits just right. Fits like a pair of briefs while the back had just the right amount of tension to make you know you are wearing a thong. Without a constant reminder you have it on. Ken Wroy is a very interesting company. The last pair I reviewed was a trunk that I actually liked. The fit of the brand was pretty good. Now they have furnished us the London Brief to review. It’s part of their new Great Skyline collection. The Great Skyline collection is a take on the NYC print they had but now used the skylines of other cities. It’s a really cool line. I was really looking forward to trying it.
The first thing I noticed was the fabric. Most of the other pairs I have seen from Ken Wroy have been cotton. This is a 89% Polyester/11% Spandex. It felt great when I took it out of the box. Oh, before I forget the box is pretty awesome. It comes in this travel box and is super fun. Its not for those who want to be discreet! Everyone will know you are getting underwear! (see the picture). Back to the pair! The gold waistband really works with this pair. It sets off the print nicely and tops the pair just perfect. The red city print in the London pair is my favorite. But all the prints are pretty awesome.
I wore the pair to a party. I felt this pair deserved some fun night. I really didn’t dress up the theme was funky t-shirts. The pair felt just as great on as it did when I took it out of the box. The spandex in the blend made it stretch and fit great. This pair really surprised me how well I thought I would like. The design was amazing but the fit was very good as well. I have no real complaints with this pair in wearing. Other than I want the entire collection of cities now!
The sizing was pretty spot on. The XL I received said it was for 37-39. I thought when I took them out they maybe a bit tight as I am a bit bigger than the size. However, this was not the case it fit amazing and the fabric still held it’s form and shape. The sizing should match their guide pretty well.

- If you’re not a fan of bright prints you may not like this

We just reviewed the Big Boy Brief from WildmanT and now we got a chance to talk to him about the line
Can you tell us how you came to create the Big Boy Line?
I have a few friends who brag about their endowment and how regular underwear don’t fit (poor things) and they have been yapping in my ear for the past couple years….”When are you gonna make something that fits us big boys?” Plus, I have another friend who has big….balls…and he always complained that underwear was too tight for his balls and it was uncomfortable when he sat down or worked out. Plus, they always got sweaty against his legs. So I took the two ideas and made a strapless pouch first. It was a waist band with a big pouch in front and nothing else. It was roomy, supportive and held the “boys” up and comfortable for my big balled friend. So I put it on Amazon to test it out and it sold like crazy. Then I decided there was a market for generously endowed and I made an entire line around “The Big Boy Pouch”!
What styles did you offer in the initial release and why did you choose those styles?
Hmmmm….years ago I had a small website that sold underwear. Not my brand, other underwear brands. WildmanT wasn’t really formed until the accidental and joke product The Ball Lifter was created. I was photographing a model in their underwear for the site but the bulge was not pronounced enough. Stuffing his underwear looked too fake and a cockring didn’t lift his pouch enough. His balls hung low dragging down the whole package with it. So I jokingly said, “If you could just lift your balls and hold it there, the photo would look great!” Well the joke turned into me utilizing some elastic and pinning it to his waist band. It worked great and looked amazing in the photo. The model said he wanted one for everyday. I laughed and continued with the shoot. After the shoot, I sat down to make a prototype…again as a joke. I thought it would funny if I put it online and showed the model. Plus my mother (sweet old conservative lady) worked for me and I thought it would embarrass her too! Well the joke was on me. Somehow it went viral and two companies in Japan bought a crazy amount of them and the ball enhancing craze had begun. From that point, I started creating Ball Lifters, Protruders, Max Cock-Rings and eventually underwear and swimwear with built-in Ball Lifter built in. I became the Ball Lifter company.
You mentioned to me earlier in the week “It was nice to finally make something exactly the way I wanted it made without compromise” What did you mean by that?
When I started off, I didn’t know what I was really doing and I had no industrial machines. Most of my designs were designed around my limitations. Then when I got big enough to use manufacturers, each manufacture had their own limitations and the designs always got changed just a little bit. Sometimes the factory had to change the colors or fabric type and sometimes they just couldn’t get the patterns right. I always liked the final product (or I would never have approved them) but I never got “exactly” what I was shooting for. This year, we started our own manufacturing here in Florida. And for the first time, I get to make exactly what I want. I have all the right machines, I buy the fabrics and elastics myself and I teach my employees exactly how to sew them. It seems silly but after seven years my final product is exactly like the prototype! Go USA!
The pouch, I will admit is pretty darn amazing, how did you come up with the design? I will admit when I saw it I was a little skeptical but after wearing it, WOW!
I just tried over and over to create a pocket of fabric that would go over your junk but not slip off. Once I got something that was roomy and comfortable yet you didn’t slip out of, I designed everything else around it.
Did you design this line for a specific guy or all guys?
Two people and they would kill me if I gave their names. John Jackson and Tad Ground! (Tim laughs!!!!)
It has been on sale for a few weeks, what has been the feedback you are getting on the line?
I released it on Black Friday. It was a difficult time to release a new product. People are shopping for others, not themselves. Underwear is a difficult present to buy for someone else. And stores previously stocked up on merchandise to prepare for the holiday season so I was not too hopeful. I thought I would get some Black Friday traction just because of the sale aspect. Although I was correct about stores not buying right at Christmas time, I was floored with my sales with the direct customer. We sold more than we ever sold in a week’s time and all of the sales were for the new Big Boy Pouch line. I was amazed…..and freaked out because we ran low on stock
Currently it’s just available in black, are you going to expand the line into other colors?
I really liked releasing all black at one time. It had a more powerful visual impact. I thought of releasing the exact line in a new color every few months….but it turns out, the fabric that I love love love only comes in black and whiteL We may do the white but most likely we will do a whole new fabric all together when I find something else that I love love love againJ
For someone who’s never bought WildmanT underwear what advice do you give them before buying the Big Boy line?
One leg at a time??? Not meant as a floatation device?? Seriously…it’s pretty straight forward. If you are looking for a roomy pouch, you will love this line. It’s big, it’s roomy and it supports unlike other pouches. People buy one to try it and turn around the following week and order five or six pair. And to quote one savy customer “I’m telling you I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pair. OMG I don’t know how you did it but damn”

Choosing a favorite pair of underwear is probably as hard as choosing my favorite Kylie Minogue song – there are way too many to choose from, and I’d probably be more successful at choosing the next Presidential candidate with a came of Duck, Duck, Goose. Alas, I must choose, so here we go.
For those of you who don’t know me yet, I am Josh, or UNB Josh as you might come to know me on Underwear News 
Briefs. I’ve always had a love of underwear – at least as far back as I can remember, so it only seemed necessary to search out a place to share my love and actually put good use to my knowledge of it. That’s how I found the blog, reached out to it, and am now writing for it. If only everything in life could be so simple. I’ve been collecting underwear since I could drive and buy things for myself and currently have two dresser drawers full of underwear and am about to spill over to the third. My drawers are full of briefs, jockstraps, trunks, singlets, swimwear and thongs. All have their place in my wardrobe, but if I really had to choose one style I could only wear for the rest of my life, I’d go with a thong.
So that brings us back to my favorite pair of underwear. I know it’s going to be a thong, but which one? I used to consider one thong (a Calvin Klein tech thong) my lucky pair because anytime I wore it, it seemed like good things would happen. I used to wear it to job interviews, on dates and on test days in college, and it seemed like every time I had it on, I would get the job, get the date to second base (at least) or ace the test. However, just because it’s lucky doesn’t mean it’s my favorite, and sadly, it’s no longer available, so I couldn’t even tell you where to buy it.
So, we’re back to square one – or two, since we know a thong is going to be my favorite pair. I went to my underwear drawer and pulled everything out to get a better look, eliminate and decide. I came down to two for my favorite pair. The first is for everyday wear: the C-IN2 Core Y-Back thong. I’ve always really liked C-IN2’s underwear design. They make comfortable underwear perfect for any occasion, they have many great styles and prints, and they understand a man’s body and what parts should be accentuated. I’ve always been a fan of Y-back thongs because they offer something a little different style wise from a normal thong to make my underwear drawer more unique. I’ve tried different brands of Y-back thongs, but for sheer comfort and everyday wear, you can’t do much better than the C-IN2 Core Y-back thong. I bought my first one in white at an underwear store in Dallas and have since bought many more from C-IN2’s brand website. I love these thongs because they are 100% cotton and can easily go from work to the gym and anywhere else you need to go. They are available in white, grey and black, so they will compliment anything you need to wear, and they run true to size. I’m a medium generally, and wear medium in the Y-Back Core Thong. They fit perfectly. Plus, if you aren’t ready to commit to thongs full time, these are a great pair to get you started with thongs to see if you like them.
I told you I wasn’t able to completely limit myself to one pair, so my other favorite pair is the Blow Jock Thong with from Andrew Christian. As an underwear connoisseur, I have more pairs of Andrew Christian underwear than I care to admit (with more on the way), and I love many styles the brand offers, but after years of wearing Andrew Christian underwear, my favorite style has become the Jock Thong. It offers everything you want from a jockstrap and everything you want from a thong into one incredible pair of underwear. I have several in my drawer and wear them frequently. Out of all I’ve bought, my favorite is the BLOW! Jock Thong with Show-It Tech.
I really love everything about this pair of underwear. The pouch is made out of super soft cotton and has a lifting pouch to bring everything to the front. It’s not a really invasive lifting pouch, either, so it doesn’t become uncomfortable after a few hours of wear. The colors of blue and green are complimentary to each other and are colors you don’t often see in underwear – especially at the brightness brought with these. The band is silver and has a little sparkle to it, you know, just for that extra boost, and the jock straps in the back provide a great lift, too. The thong part itself is very comfortable, just as the pouch, and does not become uncomfortable in the least as the day goes on. In fact, I wore this pair while walking around Stockholm, Sweden for an entire day, and it was comfortable from morning to night.
There are many variations in the BLOW! line from Andrew Christian, which are available on the brand website. You really can’t go wrong with anything you choose, as I love pretty much everything from the BLOW! suite of options. But if you are looking for something new and different, go with the Jock Thong. There aren’t a lot of companies making Jock Thongs right now, so try something new and add to your wardrobe.
