Underwear 101: Where to Start Buying Underwear

Or even if you are a long time lover but want to get some great deals. Great underwear doesn’t come cheap. Prices can range from $15-40 depending on the brand and even go higher. So what’s a guy to do who’s just getting into underwear? We couldn’t have you go without! Here are a few suggestions to grow your collection and try a new brands.

Cheapundies.com – The guys at Cheaupundies.com get some amazing deals. They have had a lot of brands we cover on there for sometimes 1/4 of the price. I have seen underwear for $5 on the site before. These are close outs and last seasons collections. But for a deal does it really matter? We definitely think not. Also on the site is their own brand of underwear. The CheapUndies brand is a great brand. It has been my experience that they are great quality at amazing prices. I would suggest any pair they sell! Its best to sign up for their email and shop them daily. The deals can go fast, especially on popular brands. This is one time you snooze you loose comes into play. Baskit $12 Tuesday – Baskit runs one pair on Tuesdays for $12. This is a big discount from the regular prices. Each week the pair changes. They range from jock briefs to boxer briefs and everything in between. Baskit has always made quality underwear and has some really great pairs right now. They also occasionally have other pairs on sale along with the $12 Tuesday. The best thing to do is follow us on social media or Baskit. We share the pair every week on our blog. Plus if you love the pair you can pick up a few at the great price.

N2N Bodywear Year end Sale – N2N Bodywear makes some amazing underwear, swimwear and gear. Their new collection comes out about every March/April. Around Christmas they start running some great sales. Prices range from $10-25. I have picked up a few things in their sales before. Also throughout the year, if you live in the LA area, they have warehouse sales. Where you can go pick out gear for even less. UNB TMG on our site has gone and gotten things for as low as $5. Yes this makes me very jealous!

Discount Stores – Stores such as Marshall’s & TJ Maxx can have great underwear. They aren’t as good as they used to be its more hit or miss right now. But great deals can be had in the stores. One Store that I think has a massive selection is Century21 in NYC. I haven’t been there in 10 years but readers have told me over the years they still have a great selection. The last time I went I think I spent 45 minutes in the underwear section alone. This option you have to go in person. Some  of you guys hate to go shop in person, so keep that in mind.

5 Awesome Pairs of Workout Wear

5 RUNNERSDid you make a resolution to work out more in 2016? Or do you want something a little more fun to wear to the gym? If you answered yes to either of those questions this post is for you. Runners have really come on strong in the fitness world. They are being worn at the gym, running or cross fit. They can be worn for extra support or maybe comfort. We have selected a few of the newest pairs for you guys!

You may know Aronik as the swimwear company. This year they have branched out and created a line of runners. The line is called Command. It is available in three colors: Coal (pictured above), Vino and Blu. Each one has the Aronik name on the right thigh. Each pair retails for $90. Find the Aronik Command Line at the Aronik Site.

If you don’t want to wear the runners with nothing over them. You should try the Junk UnderJeans Raw Street Runners. They can be worn solo or with something over them. The front has a breathable mesh panel as well! The Raw Street Runner is available in Aqua, Green (pictured) and pink. Don’t let the pink fool you black with pink accents. Made out of 95% Polyester/5% Spandex blend. The Raw Street Runner retails for $40 on the Junk UnderJeans site

Looking for a pair that is fashionable as well? Rufskin has been making Runners for years. The Lynx is one that isn’t so over the top that you can’t wear them to the gym. Some runners they have made are super sexy and may turn a few too many heads. The Lynx runner has a stripe that goes up the legs and back to accent the body. The olive has a shiny wet look finish. The black has a more rubber like appearance. The Lynx retails at $82 at the Rufskin site.

One thing we haven’t covered too much is color. There are some of us out there who love to wear color in our underwear and work out wear! JOR has released the JOR 0220 Runner Long Pant. The blue is a bright fun blue with a white stripe down the side and neon waistband. If you’re looking for something less bright they also make it in a black with a yellow stripe! Made out of a 96% polyester, 4% spandex blend.  Find the JOR 0220 Runners  at the Candyman Fashion site for $55.48

The last pair we are going to cover is the 2EROS BLK AKTIV line. These are basic black with a 2EROS waistband. Much like the Junk UnderJeans listed above these can be worn by themselves or under a pair of shorts. It’s made from a 95% Polyester / 5% Elastane lightweight fabric that will wick moisture away. Perfect for working out in. Can you go wrong with basic black? The BLK AKTIV Compression Tights retail for $89.95 AUD on the 2EROS Site.

Swim Brief Challenge 2016

In 2014 we did the original swim brief challenge.  This year we are bringing it back but we are going to add in a swim thing challenge too!  It got some of the word out but we need more guys to wear them! Over this last we we heard from straight guys who wished it was more acceptable for them to wear them in public. It’s time to change that.

Regardless of our sexual orientation, we all want to wear what ever we want on the beach. We all need to band together and make it so guys can wear what ever they want to the beach or pool. So how is this going to work? We want everyone reading this blog to take the Challenge. That is buy, if you don’t already, a swim brief and then wear it in public.

If you want, wear it in a swim brief friendly place. Not everyone can just put one on and be the only guy on the beach in them. Places like Miami Beach, Rehoboth Beach, Provincetown, LA Area beaches and more would be great places to start. After a while you will gain more confidence and be able to wear them anywhere!
