Eroticwear is not just for the Bedroom

Rather it’s time to wear it all the time and feel sexy. Before I start this there are many brands on the market that are made to come off. Meaning they are sexy but not made for extended wear. We are talking about those bands you can wear all do and be as comfy in it as a pair of your favorite briefs or boxer briefs.

The great thing about underwear is while you are at work no  one knows what you are wearing. So who’s to say you can’t wear a mesh thong to work as opposed to a pair of tighty whities? We had a reader a few years ago tell us on presentation days he would sport a thong under his suit. He said standing in front of his colleges wearing the thong made him feel great. He said the sexy feeling he felt wearing the thong made him feel more confident in his presentations.

Eroticwear is not limited to just thongs. You can wear fabrics , mesh, spandex, mesh, lace and more. Its as diverse as the rest of the world of underwear. The styles can also vary, erotic pairs are made in trunks, briefs, jocks, thongs and a whole list of hybrids. Hybrids are any of the jock briefs, jock thong and etc. The important thing is to find a pair you love and feel comfortable in!

Now that you have found a pair of eroticwear, where can you wear them? We would suggest wearing them out one day for errands to start. To see if they have a good effect or bad effect on you. If all goes well move on to wearing them to work, out with a night with friends and anytime you wear underwear.

Some brands to consider for this are Gregg Homme, MaleBasics, Modus Vivendi, Cellblock13, and Nasty Pig. Each of these will have something you will love. Start to branch out and wear something fun and sexy every day!

Review JOR Workoutwear Logo Black T-Shirt and Runner Black Long Pants

Candyman Fashion furnished us with some great pairs of the JOR Workout collection to review. 

JOR – Logo Black T-shirt

I received a black long-sleeve style shirt from JOR, my first impression of it was comfy and light. This was the first thing I have ever tried or worn from this company. This particle shirt does have a white version as well; its cut is the same.

I wore it around the condo and around town, it was quite comfy. It was a regular, non-active day, and with how well it felt by the end of the day I have no doubt that this shirt could take a beating and be fine.

I received a size large from them which fit me like a glove.

In terms of likes and dislikes for this shirt, I loved the fit and fabric for this shirt. I wasn’t a huge fan of how the neck opening was, but after a while I got used to it.

I received a pair of black runner tights from JOR, my initial impression of these was they felt very nice.

I wore it around the condo and went to the gym to workout. It was a regular workout so I put the pants through their paces, and at the end of the workout,

I received a size large from them which fit me very well and was extremely comfortable.

In terms of likes and dislikes for this pair of pants, I loved everything about them, from material, cut, styling, sizing/fit. There wasn’t anything about them I disliked.

The Gym Factor Revisited

51326 (10)When I launched UNB we used to talk a lot about the “Gym Factor.” The Gym Factor was “Would a guy wear this pair to the gym?” At that time most guys wore pretty basic underwear to the gym. Flashy or bright colors/prints were not a place for the gym. It got me thinking has this changed? Are guys willing to wear more to the gym?

We have readers who wear what ever they want to the gym. They don’t care and go for their comfort over all else. Those who give funny looks to them be damned. On the other hand we have guys who want to have their love of underwear to just a select few. They wear more classic cuts and colors. They wear is more traditional briefs, trunks and boxer briefs.

So, over the 7 years of UNB has this changed? Guys on both sides, gay/straight, are starting to wear great underwear. Each year more and more guys discover how amazing great undies feel. Plus the explosion of the UnderArmour gear has introduced more color and prints to the general market. It’s accepted that you can wear a bright UA pair of undies to the gym.

One thing that has changed is the wearing of jocks to the gym. It used to be widely accepted you wore a jock for support through out a work out. Now it seems very few guys actually wear them for sports activities. Jocks are moving more towards fashion rather than function. I asked a few friend who work out if they wore jocks and most gave me a strange look and said “You don’t wear jocks to the gym.” They are more for going out and fun times for them now.

Lastly, there seems to be quite a few of our readers wearing thongs to the gym. I will admit I did this in my 20’s. They offer great support and can be used as a jock substitute. Thongs are considered by many to be less than masculine by the general public. I think there are a few out there who would greatly disagree with that statement.  It’s not super wide spread but these guys really don’t care what you have to think. But, I have heard more guys are doing this in years past.

This really has me curious as to what you guys are now wearing to the gym. Are you wearing what ever or do you make a conscious choice when getting dressed in the morning if you’re going to the gym? Let us know what you are wearing!

We ran the pic of the Cobalt from Gregg Homme as a Brief Distraction earlier this week. It is a pair that I had to share with you guys! Usually lines from Gregg Homme have a few different styles and colors. The Cobalt line is just two pieces. The briefs and shirt. No boxer, no thong or g. Why is it so few pieces?

This collection is laser cut! The official description is the Cobalt line is  “designed in a glamourous laser-cut fantasy mesh material with a sequined cobalt blue appliqué at the seat. The pouch is opaque and center-seamed with solid hip side panels…”  The shirt of the “COBALT collection fitted V-neck muscle shirt by Gregg Homme is designed in a glamourous laser-cut fantasy mesh material with a sequined cobalt blue appliqué across the chest and a power mesh over the midriff, while the shoulders, back and sides are opaque”

First thing you may notice is that it looks a little like lace. I would agree on that fact. Its a little flashy and some may call it over the top. Its truly amazing what Gregg Homme creates. They don’t make underwear the design underwear. I say this because they use cutting edge technology to create underwear. Gregg Homme also uses some of the most amazing fabrics in underwear today.

This pair is not for everyone and I”m not saying that just for the design. This is one of the pricer of the Gregg Homme collections. The Cobalt Brief retails for $83.95 and the Cobalt V-Neck retails for $110.94 at the Gregg Homme site!

As the New Year finally dawns on us all with the slow, clearing of heads from Holiday Season hangovers and we begin making new-year resolutions to counter the hip-hugging effects of one too many mince pies or other indulgencies over the Christmas break; many of us don’t give a second thought to our underwear, or the stresses and strains we put upon it.

There you have it guys… Our choice of smalls really does have an impact on our private lives… Not just in matters of the bedroom.

Where are the Straight Guys Who Love Underwear

WHERE AREEach year we grow our straight readers a bit more. This was something I never thought we would accomplish when I launched UNB. It was always a goal but wasn’t sure it was attainable. Now, 7 years latter we have quite a few straight underwear lovers out there. All guys wan too have amazing underwear! Its like I have always said give a guy a great pair of underwear and he’s hooked!

We want to find more straight guys to write for the site. Straight guys face issues in wearing great underwear and speedos that we gay guys get a pass for with the public. If someone sees someone in a speedo automatically, the general public, thinks he’s gay. Also, sometimes their girlfriends or wives don’t get the underwear or like it. Or worse what they think is sexy doesn’t match their partner.

How do you deal with that? We are looking for some great guys who want to join the site that can share this and develop conversations with guys. We are a friendly bunch here at UNB and miss our resident straight guy Jon. Jon had to focus on work and we aren’t sure when he will be back. In the mean time we want to find more guys to join us and address the needs of this audience!

Lastly, many straight guys out there are HUGE underwear fans. I mean even more so than a lot of gay guys out there. If you’re one of those guys we want to talk to you!

True Compression: New C-IN2 Grip Pro Line

How many of us resolved that this year we would get in better shape? I know many of our readers to every January, including myself. Now that we have resolved to do better, there is no better reason than to buy underwear to help with that goal. C-IN2 released the new Grip Pro line this week! The  Grip line has become one of the hottest and best selling for C-IN2!

The new line focuses on fitness and compression. Made out of a 85% Polyester, 15% Spandex/Elastane/Lycra blend. The stitching on the pairs is made for fitness. They will stretch and move with you no matter what you are doing. It could be weight lifting, spin, running or cross fit. I haven’t tried them but the look makes me know this is going to be an amazing line.

Sports underwear can sometimes be super expensive. Sometimes $40 and up, not this line from C-IN2 the pairs range from $24-28. Which is a great price point in the world of underwear. Especially for a specialty line like this one. Plus you can tell the people in your life who say you have too much underwear, “this is to help motivate me to workout!”

The new line comes in a Low Rise Profile Brief ($24), Sport Boxer Brief ($26) and the Sport Cycle ($28). The line only comes in Black and Smoke Stack. Smoke Stack is a very light grey color. Each color also has a matching Grip waistband. This band sets the pair off nicely.

I really like this line. It’s basic but its supposed to be that way. A lot of guys don’t want flashy underwear for the gym. The bigger market is after the black/white only. If lines are successful we will see more colors added hopefully. The last fitness pair I tried was the Yoga line. Those were amazing so I hope they keep up the tradition of making amazing fitness underwear!

Meaning I hate a c-ring or similar enhancing features.  Over the years I have been in search of the best pouches on the market.  I am telling you guys what they are!

The pouch in all of the Cocksox pairs is awesome.  That being said the pouch in this pair is a personal favorite.  It really holds you in place and gives amazing support. With that support comes an enhancing effect of the pair. It will push up and show off what you have and make it noticeable. Which to some is not a bad thing. The pouch is simply amazing. Ergowear X3D – Ergowear is no stranger to the world of pouches. They were founded on having ergonomically designed pouches.  All the lines, feel, X3D and Max, are all differt but accomplish the same goal. That goal is fit a guy naturally. The X3D was the first pair I ever tried from Ergowear. It was long before I started UNB. I actually still have that pair.  When I first slid it on it felt like it was made for me. The fit and feel just felt natural. Ergowear excels at great pouch designs. I like the Feel line but it’s not my favorite. The Max is more like the X3D. You know what I Recommend but try all three to get your perfect fit.

Mundo Unico – this is another brand I have history with.  Mundo Unico was the first amazing pouch I ever wore.  This is also rare because I love it in every style. That is from a thong to boxer briefs.  The pouch in boxer briefs is so amazing and there are a very few that I like. The pouch is built in and gives you support.  While I am not sure it was ergonomically designed it sure turned out that way. It will show off some but put it all out there. I still wear the brand till this day.

N2N Bodywear nHance – N2N Bodywear makes underwear for all guys. They have developed the nHance pouch. This pouch allows for maximum movement with the feeling of wearing nothing. The current line offering it is the Cotton Classic line.  Over the years it has been in many styles.  One of my favorite was the Signature line. The trunk had a great support and feel. It’s an unassuming pouch you don’t get how great it is until you put it on.  I recommend any pair with the nHance pouch

Andrew Christian Almost Naked – Andrew Christian is no stranger to pouches. One of the first he designed.  It was designed to hold a guy in a natural way and feel like he’s not wearing any underwear.  It’s available in every style he makes. My personal favorite are the jocks and briefs. This pouch is very much still around and new collections are being released all the time. I personally don’t like the Show-It Tech in the undies so pay attention to what you order. Granted there are a bunch of you guys who do like the enhancement it offers. I think i have worn them since creation. They have always been my favorite AC pouch.

Obviously – Obvioulsy is the last pouch we will cover. No pun intended.  They were one of the earliest brands to focus on Ergonomically designed pouches. Thier pouch is a bit different to me, it allows for more hang and less enhancement. It’s still a great fit and feels great.   One of the first pairs I had was a bikini and loved the pouch with a skimpier cut. They have evolved the pouch over the years to make it better and better.
All of these brands are a must have for pouch lovers. This could be if you were endowed or not.  Every guy needs great support under thier pants each day

  • Help us cover underwear events (such as Magic and Fashion Shows). I’d like to expand our coverage to more than Vegas 2x a year.

Pistol Pete wil have you in a singlet in a Flash

Are you a fan of singlets? Or of Spandex? If you are and so many of you guys are loving Singlets right now the Pistol Pete Flash singlet maybe for you. It’s not a traditional singlet. Meaning it’s not designed for wrestling. Those are more conservative in their design and offer fuller coverage. A front that comes mid chest and legs range from mid thigh to just above the knee.

The Flash Singlet is made for fun! Well, that’s my opinion. Its very low cut in the front with a great pouch! The design is a bit different from what we have seen in singlets. To me it’s kind of a hybrid of an official singlet for wrestling and one for erotic wear. I love how they have the stripes on the straps mimic the ones on the the main body. It adds to the interest with me. This is a very creative and fun singlet.

Colors are another area Pistol Pete excels. The Charcoal/Pink with White is a color combination that is not expected but really works well. When I first saw the singlet I was like “now that’s a very cool singlet” It is also in Navy/Lime with white. Each of these singlets are really great color combinations.

This singlet is also very low cut in the front. Which adds to the sexy factor for me. Pistol Pete designs singlets with lines that accents a guys body. They really excel at this. Previous singlets we have covered do this as well. They accent the thighs and butt very well. Its part of their design aesthetic that is their own!

Where would you wear this singlet? Well the first answer is a fun time at home. Which there is nothing wrong with that. The next is a bar night out. Many cities have spandex or gear nights. If you do dare to bare I’m sure you will get noticed in this singlet. I probably wouldn’t recommend this to the gym. I’m sure if you did wear it the staff would inform you to wear more clothes. That being said I don’t know many who would wear it by itself to the gym. This singlet is about fun for sure!
