IMG_3536WebAre you in the market for a new swimsuit for the beach or pool? If you are a square cut swimsuit fan, then check out Timoteo’s new Rio Swim Trunk. They say it is a “perfect combination of the sleek fit of our Speedster Square Cut Swim and the minimal coverage of the best selling Marina Low Rise Brief.” It is definitely a low rise square cut with not much of an inseam that is available in 3 patterns: Zig Zag, Pixel Print, and Tile Print. The Zig Zag print is basically a striped zig zag pattern, which I’ve seen also called a chevron pattern. It’s available in blue or turquoise with the alternating color of black. Pixel Print has a base color of black with red, white, and blue abstract dot patterns. It reminds me a bit of the movie the Matrix that featured green matrices, but just a colorful version. Tile Print has a repeating navy and white geometric pattern with pink highlights. They kind of look like the same tetris blocks repeating and alternating in color. Does one of the suit patterns speak to you? If I had to choose one then I’d lean towards the pixel print. It reminds me of the behind the scenes computer processing, which fits well with my technology personality.

These suits have a flat locked finished, drawstrings for fit and comfort, and are fully lined. They’re available in S, M, L, XL and are made in the USA out of 85% polyester and 15% spandex. If you are looking for minimal coverage, but aren’t quite ready to go to a swim brief then these skimpy trunks may be right up your alley. These definitely aren’t your typical square cut suit for lap swimming, but you can spice up the pool or beach scene with one of these Timoteo Rio Swim Trunks.
