I know you guys have seen Calum Winsor on UNB and on the net. He’s an amazing Australian Model how now lives in Florida. We got a chance to interview him about his career and working with Gregg Homme! Here is our interview.

For our readers who don’t know you. Can you tell them a little bit about you?

I’m originally born in the northern suburbs of Sydney, Australia. I loved and played sports as long as I could and as many as possible from when I woke up to when I fell asleep. I got type 1 diabetes as a teenager and had to work hard to understand and manage it to the best of my ability, which helped shape who I am today.

What got you into modeling, and specifically men’s underwear?

Well, I always wanted to from seeing America’s next top models and some other similar shows and always thought to give it a try plus my father used to be a photographer before his career changes. My good friend Michael Boyd from Australia helped me start getting things together and help motivation turn into reality many moons ago. Underwear found me, I guess, from the hard work in the gym and sports.

We have seen you in the 2016 Gregg Homme campaign and now in the Fall 2109 line. What was it like to work with them?

It’s lovely to be able to do great work with great people with a proven track record. On the last set, the sun was setting over the city and our studio and the perfect western view Over the city and the warmth and vibes wrapping up stick in my mind adding some great colours to everything.

Gregg Homme is known for super skimpy and sometimes see-through undies; did you ever hesitate to take the job either time and why?

I did have some thoughts about it, but at the end of the day, it’s just another day at the office and worrying about what people think is wasted energy and pointless.

Do you have a favorite pair you modeled in this most recent collection?

I did very much like the fun and flimsy little from tartan kilt one for a bit of fun haha.

Since we are an Underwear blog, which is your go-to style (briefs, trunks, jock, thong, other)? Is there a style you don’t like?

Briefs all day are my thing, prefer the classic look.

On your Instagram, you are often seen wearing swim briefs. Specifically, Speedo brand, why do you like them?

Speedo and the right cut length on the sides I think it’s either 3 or 5 cm I cannot remember, but the ones with the least amount of material on the sidecut that has a sporty feel and that actually are swum in.

You are obviously dedicated to keeping yourself in top form – what do you find as motivation for staying fit?

Brazilan Jiu-jitsu present when I leave the office, then gym after with 30 Mins cardio to start followed by 1-2 Hours weight if it’s a good day that is… also rugby when I can and any other fun activities my friends get up too along the way.

Please give our readers some insight as to what it’s like being on set for a shoot. Is it a different atmosphere being underwear over clothing? Do you ever get nervous or have any funny moments?

The only time I get nervous if when it’s somewhere I have nothing on and I shouldn’t necessarily be there… I like clothing because it can create many different vibes of how underwear is where I shape because who wants to cover up all their hard work…

It looks like you are active in rugby – what got you started playing, and where are you at with it now?

I started back in high school and played as much representative things as I could, but all the injuries slowed me down plus other activities. I found some love for it once moving to Florida with my new friends here.

Are there any upcoming shoots we should be on the lookout for or anything you can share about 2020 plans with our readers?

On my way to Gregg Homme right now actually haha
