I have to say that I enjoy doing the podcast. It has allowed me to talk to many amazing guys who love underwear, swimwear, spandex, singlets, etc. Some of these guys have become friends, which is fantastic.

Why Do I love real guys?

We aren’t alone – I can tell my story repeatedly, but I am one person. It’s great to hear from people who think the way we do or have similar experiences as we have had. While we all have similarities in our journey, some people have unique circumstances that set them apart. The prime example is Patrick’s coming-out story. That is an experience that bi guys can directly relate to directly. These tales can impact a group of you listening or all of us.

We are more alike than different – No matter your sexual orientation, we all have a very similar story. It amazed me when I started talking to bi and straight guys and realized we are more alike than different. Without talking to a diverse group of guys, we’d never hear this firsthand.

Everyone needs a voice – I have approached many guys, and their first response is, “Why do you want me? I’m nobody.”, which is farther from the truth. I think every guy should be able to tell his tale and know they are part of a more extensive community. They think they don’t have anything to share, but we usually get emails and DM’s saying how the podcast resonated with them and how they felt they were the only ones who went through something similar. If I approach you, don’t think you have a boring story; come on, be proud, and tell us who you are and what you love.

Building a Community – These shows build on the larger community. Many wouldn’t connect with them if we had amazing-looking models or influencers. You may like the podcast, but they live in a different world than you do, but when it’s an “average guy,” you hear yourself in them. You get an outlet for your need to share and listen to others’ tales. No offense to the well-built, we have them on as well, but UNB has always been about the real guy.

I am working on some shows that have specific guests needed. If you think you may be a fit, email me! The shows are:

  1. Lingerie Show – Specifically, straight guys who love men’s lingerie and wear it often. I have two gay guys, but I want one to two straight guys to join.
  2. Straight guys – Straight guys, in general, want to tell their tale on how they discovered their love of underwear and possibly join the group shows regularly.
  3. POC – People of Color would be awesome to have on the show. It’s a different point of view and any ethnic group.
  4. Singlet show – Where are my fellow singlet lovers? I mean, they are one of the most amazing pieces of gear!
  5. Suit & Tux show – Get suit guys on the show to talk about what they wear under their suits. What do they wear, whether it’s a board meeting, a regular day, or just a fancy night out. Is it a brief, jock, thong, lace brief?

These are just a few I’m working on, and if you want to join, email me or DM me on social at @unbtim on most of the socials.
