s1100_simple_brief_f_whiteToday’s  $12 Tuesday is the Baskit Simple Brief. It is just as the name implies simple. It has the Baskit name in the waistband and a simple design. But that doesn’t mean it’s not comfy and a great pair of underwear. Sometimes you just need to go simple. These would be great to wear to the gym. To find this pair go to the Specials page on the Baskit site. Make sure you look below it on the page and you can find some other great deals.

Singlets were only worn by wrestlers in High School and College, but in the last year their popularity has taken off. I have loved them since the early 90’s. I have had a variety of singlets; some that official wrestling singlets, fetish singlets and ones that are just fun. You can wear them  under clothes as a tank (jeans or workout wear), for public viewing or where ever you’re bold enough to wear them!

Here is our selection of 5 of the newest, hottest Singlets for this year. Here they are in no particular order!

I love bringing you guys new underwear companies. So when I got an invite on my personal facebook for a new page I was intrigued. The owner added me as a friend and then sent me an invite to the page. Curbwear looks like they are going to be off to a great start. Not only do they make underwear but they also have work out wear with shorts, tops and gloves. It’s a very cool company. Here is some info they sent us about the brand.

Curb, a new UK brand, unites the category of underwear with sport, creating designs that support performance and enhance comfort.

Athlete Brief and Hipster

  • Everything has been consider here – a super smooth care label and a panoramic pouch to enhance and eliminate the need to re-adjust.  Lo-rise design prevents riding up and a ‘hungry-bottom’ – your arse eating your underwear! – as you stay active.

Sport Gloves

  • Colourful gloves that provide an even better grip using gel zoned padding on the palm to support your training programme.

Stadium Short

  • Styled to fit straight on the leg using a 4 panel construction and single-layered to provide a smooth, sheer and shiny look.

Adrenaline Vest

  • You go to the gym to look buff and Curb provide a top to enhance your look – curved bottom, muscle back top to enhance your cut look.  Short-drop hood completes your Circuit style.

Check them out at their website, http://www.curbwear.com. We hope to see more from them!

One of the best perks in writing an underwear blog is getting really great and free underwear. Granted I work hard at the blog but it allows me to have an up to date underwear drawer. So it’s rare when I actually go out and purchase a pair of underwear. That is just what I did with the John Sievers California Gold Natural Pouch Brief. I heard from Brandon how great the line was and finally decided I needed to give them a try.

I placed my order and with in days they were shipped to me. I will admit I was really excited to try this brand. The first thing that I LOVED was the gold waistband. This is where the style gets it name. Each pair in the line is trimmed out with the same waistband with John Sievers stitched in. It felt as great as it looked too, but more on that in a few. The materials were super soft.  Made out of 95% modal and 5% spandex. When I put them on it just felt amazing.

The International Jock site says, “When you pull on a pair of natural pouch briefs, your genitals hang gently and naturally in the pouch, providing a feeling so comfortable that you’ll swear that you’re not wearing anything at all.” I’m always skeptical of this but they were spot on.  The pouch really fit me like a glove. it held everything in place all day!  I am a guy that needs a little extra room up front and it never felt I was being constrained or squished.

I decided to give this pair a real work out. The day I wore them it was a busy day when I knew I would be on my feet a lot. They held up really well.  I was expecting to like them but not as much as I did. They lived up to the “you’ll swear you’re not wearing anything at all.” That to me is the best sign of a great pair of underwear. The pouch has to be in the top 5 of my all time underwear of all time.  I ran around work in the warehouse and after work did some shopping. Never once did I have an issue with the pair.

The sizing was pretty much spot on the sizing guide. My new waist size is a 36 and I bought a large which fits a 36-38 waist. It should conform to normal sizing and I feel strongly you can trust the sizing chart.

What did I like about this pair, pretty much everything. The pouch is one of the best I have ever worn. Second, is the modal blend. Modal feels so good on your skin. It also allows your body to breathe. Next, is the gold waistband. Waistbands are something to me that sets a pair off, when it’s made of gold and fun like this one is, it just makes me smile. Things I didn’t like, the only thing I can think of is I don’t own more of these!

Pros

  • Has an amazing anatomical pouch
  • Super soft Modal material
  • A fun gold metallic waistband

Cons:

  • I only own one pair

Ratings:

  • Daily Fit – A
  • Sizing – A
  • Construction/Materials – A
  • Styling – A
  • Daily Performance  – A
  • Overall: A

I purchased my pair from International Jock for $26.94. It is also available in White, Black, Navy and Steel Grey.

Underwear of the week is always a hard decision around UNB. There are so many awesome pairs released that there is no way we can profile each of them.  So when we start out the list can be really long and we go through which would make the best pair. This week we decided on the Gregg Homme Target Trunks.

These are part of the new Target line we profiled a few weeks back. What made this one make the cut well here are a few reasons why!

  • The boxer has a green waistband with a red target scope in the middle. Hence giving it the name Target!
  • Gregg Homme is known for their amazing fabric. The 76% Polyamide and 24% spandex has a liquid touch.
  • The fabric will conform to the curves of your body
  • Available in three colors: Black, Red and Khaki
  • Retails for $37.95 at the Gregg Homme Site

We hope you enjoy the Target Trunk from Gregg Homme. Target is also available in a jock, brief and boxer brief.  Find these and more lines of at the Gregg Homme website. .

CBG027-BLK-Front

We are starting a new feature called Fetish Friday! This is a post that will feature a different fetish pair of underwear. It won’t be every Friday but we will have it pretty regularly.

The first pair we chose is the Cellblock13 Renegade Lace Up Jock Trunk. Cellblock13 is Timoteo’s fetish line. It’s wilder in cuts, design and color combinations.  These aren’t undies you will find under khakis or dress pants. You would find them under 501’s and a leather jacket.  So clean cut preppies are not who this line is for, it’s more for a crowd that wants to play as hard as they work.

What makes this pair the first pair for our fetish Friday? There are several factors. The first is the colors. Its available in white with black/red accents, Black/Yellow and Black/Blue. Second it’s a jock trunk meaning the back is cut out just like a jock brief. Third is the lace up front similar to a pair of football pants.  Put all those factors together and it makes a really fun pair of underwear.

We hope you enjoy this first pic for Fetish Friday. The Renegade Lace Up Jock Trunk is available on the net for around $36.

main-4We are looking for a few super fans of UNB! What are we looking for? Well, we want to find some readers who would post to their social networks about UNB. This could be links to reviews, posts and pictures. We will provide you with the info needed, which would include pictures, video links and links to our stories. You can create your own text or we can. Then all you have to do is post to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or even your own blog.

If you are interested email us at info@underwearnewsbriefs.com and you may get some undies as a thanks too! Pic above is from Andrew Christian.

Papi_Pride_JocksWhen I started UNB Jocks were mainly considered sports equipment or fetish wear, depending on who you asked. Then the fashion jock took off and the industry hasn’t been the same since. Now jocks are in the drawers of many more guys and no longer hidden in the bottom of the underwear drawer. Also, a few of our readers have told us they wear jocks a majority of the time if not all the time.  So over the last few years the jock has gone from bottom to the top of underwear drawer!

Papi has created a great new jock called the Pride Jock. The Pride Jock has a waistband has a rainbow waistband. The body of the jock is made in four colors; black, blue, red or orange. Made out of a 88% Polyester 12% Spandex spandex blend. The materials will guarantee a great fit because of the 12% spandex will give you great support.

Then name, as you can guess, comes from the rainbow waist band. It has the colors of the Gay Pride and while not in all the rainbow colors of the body but has four great contrasting colors. If you ask me this jock is designed to be seen. It would be perfect under some low rise jeans with the waistband showing. I am sure we’ll be seeing this at Prides across the country.

Even if you don’t want to show this pair off it can be worn to the gym, to work,  around town or just a fun night out! If you are a fan of jocks we suggest you check out the Pride Jock! Find the Pride jock on the Papi Website for $20.00
