Men’s Underwear

Category

It’s been a hot minute since we covered Private Structure. We used to see them in Vegas at Magic/Curve. But in the last few years they have not been attending and I lost touch with the rep they had for North America. I would occasionally see new things they were doing but never had access to more information or who sold the brand. There’s no point in pointing something out that I can’t send you to buy. “Oh this is cool but good luck finding it.”

In the last few months, there is a new US distributor so I get to see some of the pairs coming out. Private structure has always been very affordable and fun. I mean their briefs and bikinis were around $10 and come in a rainbow of colors. The new collection is no different. The new collection has briefs and boxer briefs.

The prices of this new line range from 11-19 dollars a pair! Which for a pair of underwear is a great price. You can stock up on a few pairs. If you catch them on sale you can sometimes find them for under $10 a pair. Which is almost unheard of in men’s underwear. Here is just a sampling of the new line. Go to Candyman Fashion and see the entire line.

It’s underwear release season. One company that always has super fun undies is JOR. This collection is inspired by the circus. There are bright colors, amazing prints, and super fun workout gear. JOR is one of the creative brands on print creation. Each collection always has graphic prints and sometimes geometric.

This collection all the graphic prints are inspired by the circus. You have some with the circus barker, clowns, sugar skulls and more. Each one has it’s own distinct color palette. Each line has a trunk and brief as standard styles. Others will have a jock, thong, tank or tee in addition. I wish they had all the styles in the prints.

If you aren’t a fan of prints, don’t worry the standard solid colors are still here! The new colors are on the bright side of the spectrum. Bright pink, purple and more! There are some of the classic black, white and navy. I think JOR is one brand that makes undies to cover all likes in the underwear spectrum.

Some of the favorites of you guys are thongs and briefs. We are sure you will find something you will love in this collection. While I was looking, I knew that I had to have quite a few of the pairs. It’s more like what I don’t want than what I want.

The line was just released!! In addition to underwear, there are new swimwear and activewear! We will be giving you an overview of each of these lines. But make sure you go to the international JOR store to see all the new and classic pairs on sale now!

When I was looking for a video to post I ran across this news story from Australian TV. This report was first aired on October 12, 1977. Almost 41 years ago. And if you watch you will still see we are having this discussion. You think in the last 40 year we would have seen movement in the minimal men’s swimwear acceptance. In the 80’s swimwear started to go longer. In the 90’s and earlyl 2000’s we had the board shorts and now we are going smaller again.

A lot of these comments are still being made today! What is your opinion about this report.

Do you like something fun in underwear? A little bit of fetish but still a lot of fun to wear? Then new Pikante line is for you. Pikante has always been a little over the top, a little fetish, and a whole lot of fun. This collection checks all those boxes. One of the biggest trends in underwear right now is harnesses. They just add a little fun to the gear.

This collection has harnesses built into several pairs in the line. If you’re not big on them in an all in one design, they also have separate harness. Either way they literally have you covered. More and more guys are wearing them. They just add fun to the underwear drawer. Also, the all in one come on a few fun designs like thongs. It’s worth checking out if you want something fun.

What would a Pikante line be without having some mesh! It’s been a staple of the line for many years. Pikante is about making sexy, yet fun underwear. This line has some great jocks and briefs with mesh panels. Mesh is one that you guys can’t get enough of in your drawer. They make great date night undies or just something fun to wear under your work clothes. That could be a suit or coveralls!

Last we have thongs. You can see in the pic they are more elaborate, for a lack of a better word, in their thong designs. I mean, when have you ever seen Pikante be classic. It’s all about getting in touch with your wild side and having fun! If you want classic undies, Pikante is not the brand for you.

However, if you want lace, harness, mesh, cutouts and more. Then Pikante is for you. Head to Candyman Fashions to see the entire collection. It’s a super fun collection that may let you step outside your comfort zone and have some fun!

I have told you guys that I’m working on losing weight and getting healthier. I have a few things that could cause long-term issues if I stay a beefy boy for a while. So I decided to be proactive and take off weight. I am 20 pounds down and a lot more to go to reach my goal. It’s a long process that is about a lifestyle change not dieting.

To celebrate this feat, I was going to buy me some undies. There were a few pairs from a brand I had my eye on! I went to the site and selected the size. But that little voice in my head said “check the size chart.” As I clicked it. The XL was at least 2 inches smaller than my current waist size. “WTF!” went through my mind. I won’t say what brand it was, but I know they had 38-40 as their XL in the past. I’m right at a 40.

I pretty much said “Fuck it” and closed the browser. At first, I was depressed, but then I got angry. You think the editor of an underwear blog would have no issues in underwear. Or I could reach out and voice my frustration. Well, unfortunately, I don’t have a contact with that brand. So I decided to get some singlets instead, that fit!!

We need to get underwear lines that make underwear for guys larger than a 36 waist. If you’re tall like me, 6’4″, even at a healthy body weight, it’s easy to have a 36 or 38-inch waist. But regardless, if I want to buy something to make me feel sexy I should be able too, no matter what size I am.

I looked through more brands and a lot of them end about 36 inches. We have a lot more work to do to get bigger, tall and beefy guys in better underwear. I am going to start running posts of brands that carry XL and cater to beefy guy! Stay tuned.

It seems the days of summer won’t end, it’s staying hotter longer and the last thing you want to do is think of underwear for winter Well good thing we are promoting fall undies!! I know bad joke! Go Softwear has released the new Cal Guy Onesy. It’s not your typical onesy. It’s a shorter version of the union suit.

The Official description is:

This new design is as easy as O-N-E-S-Y!  Yes, the colorful Cal. Guy onesy or sleeveless union suit by GO SOFTWEAR is made entirely in cotton fabric that is garment washed and overdyed for an ultra-soft feel, perfect for lounging-in during the warm weather months. This one piece is designed with 4 snap front buttons, round neck line, spacious arm openings and slightly fitted to showcase your best attributes. Choose the color that best fits your mood and enjoy.

The new onesy comes in three different colors. Scuba Blue, Deep Pink and Sunshine. I know which one will prob be the most popular, the Pink! No matter what brand puts out pink undies they always sell out before any other color. I think that Go Softwear has made a home run on this pair. So many guys are loving union suits and this shorter onesy is great for fall, spring or summer.

You could wear this under jeans in the summer without the shirt ridding up. Being tall, it’s annoying AF when you stretch or bend and the shirt comes out. But enough of my pet peeves.

Are you a fan of the aussieBum Wonderjock line? Are you a fan of geometric prints? If so the new Wonderjock Geometric line is out! It’s a mix of both of those things. “Upgrade to the new WJ PRO with ‘4D Grid Framing Technology’. We guarantee greater lift enhancement with patented ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology’ & ‘Free Swing Boost’ support. Available in brief, trunk & (for the first time ever) jockstrap.”  Although the jocks are not apart of the Wonderjock Geometric yet.

The 4D grid framing technology is made to give you some amazing support. If you have been a fan of the line you will already know about this. If not it’s an enhancing technology that takes what you have and gives it a bit of a boost in your undies. Perfect for those who want a bit more up front.

The line only comes in blue, purple and red. All come with the awesome geometric print. It’s super fun and I think one of the first prints in the line. I”m trying to rack my brain to remember if they had something. All I recall is just solid colors. More brands are releasing amazing prints.

If you are a fan of the line make sure you check it out!

Are you a big fan of jocks? Or maybe you want to give them a try for the first time. If you choose a fashion jock, they can run from $15-30 a pair. If you opt for the classic jock it maybe not what you are looking for and a bit too much. One brand that makes some of the best jocks on the market is Papi. To top it off they are $22 for three! You heard me, it’s under $7 a pair.

The Papi Multi-pack jock is one I have bought many of them over the years. The initial purchase was the price. I think I got all three jocks for $17 at the time (on sale if I remember correctly). I thought if they aren’t any good I didn’t waste big money on them. The first time I wore them, I was impressed. It gives you ample support and they are very well made. They were so good, I used to pack them to wear in the Vegas summer when I went. If you’ve never worn a jock in HOT climates, you need too!

The jocks are made out of 100% pure cotton. Which I’m normally not a fan of but these just fit great. The waistband is a regularly sized band. Nothing super fancy or colors. I think the simplicity will deceive guys out there to think that this is something you would get in a big box store. But it’s one of my top jocks in my drawer.

I’m not sure I would wear this for sports, there are other pairs that would suit you better. But for an everyday jock, this is perfect. You can wear to work, out on the town or just around the house. I have even worn it under a suit! So go check out this and the other multi-packs at Papi!

We are sure you know who Sean Alexander is even if you didn’t know his name. He has been in many Aronik Swim pictures over the last few years. He is also one of the founders of Model Trainers NYC,  along with models Nick Sandell and Michael Dean. The business seems to be thriving. Sean has added something else to his resume, an underwear designer. His line is called Sean Alexander.

The new line just has just one pair, the “Timeless Trunk.” Which is a classic cut trunk in black. I give Sean props for starting small. Plus this pair really matches his personal brand. I see more classic cuts coming to the line. I don’t think we will see a thong or something on the wild side.

Another thing he is bringing to the brand is his philanthropy. He and his fellow Model Trainers often post about clothing drives and other charity events in their Instagram stories and social media. “Each time you treat yourself or a loved one with a piece by Sean Alexander, a contribution is made to help those in need of clothing. Look good, feel good, do good.”

If you buy a pair between now and Oct 31 you can enter to win!. “Post a pic of your trunks on “Instagram with hashtag #SeanAlexanderUndies — one entrant will win a coffee with Sean Alexander himself. Selection takes place Oct 31, 2018.” So I hope you guys go check out the new line and we will report on when more pairs are released.

Cellblock 13 Torque is here and teamed up with our model Simon, it’s a force to be reckoned with. This collection of jockstraps, briefs and harnesses is CB13’s answer to sports fetish wear on a budget without compromising quality, fit or style. The jocks and briefs are made with an insanely soft viscose fabric and the harness, a combination of tough elastic and heavy duty rubber rings. It’s not only slick but designed to fit. With a base color of black and detailing in fetish forward colors of red, blue, green or white. Here’s the details:

Cellblock 13 Torque Jockstrap and Brief:

Both jockstrap and brief is made with Viscose with a hint of spandex. Combined with the contoured design, you’ll never find a better fit offering shape expansion and retention, plus it’s light enough and stretchy enough to show off everything you’ve got to bulging perfection – notice how our model Simon’s rather large shaft protrudes through the fabric (like I need to tell you to notice). With a single wide contrasting racing stripe down the center of the pouch and contrasting piping – in the jock it adds support and showcases your package, in the brief, find it around the leg openings for a stylish touch.

For both jock and brief, a masculine 2 inch wide waistband is tough with just the right amount of stretch and tension featuring double horizontal racing stripes and prominent CB13 front and center. Even better is two extra CB13 logos at each hip. The jock is finished off with two thick one inch wide comfort elastic leg straps.

Cellblock 13 Torque Harness:

Just $29. Seriously! Replacing the usual metal hardware and rubber of their higher-end harnesses, Cellblock 13 ingeniously created this budget friendly harness by utilizing a series of tough polyester & spandex elastic straps joined with heavy-duty thick rubber rings. These great fabrics together allow for great flexibility and elasticity.

In the front: over the shoulder and under the armpit straps join two rubber rings that sit above your pecs. Another wide strap with centered CB13 logo joins the rings running horizontally and centered across your chest. In the back: straps run over your shoulders and under your armpits joining in a criss-cross to a center rubber ring smack-dab between your shoulder blades.

Between the design, the rubber rings and the dual contrasting racing stripes running throughout, this is one hell of a harness. One that moves with your body and stays put with every thrust.
