Jockstrap Central just launched two new Pistol Pete jocks and they’ve got a hot new model to show them off. Here’s the details:

Millennium Jock Brief:

Typical of a jock brief, it’s got a brief style front and jock style back; made of a subtly see-through mesh that becomes more see-through with your bulge pushing up against the fabric, stretching those ventilation holes just large enough for a hint of what’s lies beneath. Trust us, those close by will insist on closer inspection.

Black contrasting elasticated piping improves the fit and adds a dash of style. Finally, this jock brief includes a 1.5 inch wide black ultra-soft waistband with subtle embossed repeating Pistol Pete logo.

Intimo Jockstrap:

Visually stunning, whether it’s the soft ribbed pouch with ribs running vertically defining every curve nook and cranny of your bulge or the two “eyes” formed where the top central part of the pouch meets the waistband exposing your pubes. Comfort is enhanced by the stretch of the rib and contour of the pouch design. Style is heightened by the contrasting elasticated fabric edging.

Of course it wouldn’t be a jockstrap without the leg straps – they’re soft one inch wide elastic to keep everything in place. Lastly, a one and a quarter inch soft elastic comfort waistband in white with navy blue and green centered stripe and front centered Pistol Pete logo woven into the design.”
Jockstrap Central’s latest model Farzad is pretty hot. He’s a Middle Eastern construction worker and puts the new Pistol Pete gear through a workout. See him all jocked out in high definition goodness exclusively at Jockstrap Central.”

I LOVE Cocksox, so when I heard it they were celebrating 7 years, I knew we had to do something special. The group behind Cocksox are some of the most amazing people. They have created some of the best undies, in my opinion, and now they are celebrating 7 Sinful Years!

“Seven sinful years! We’re not talking about a marriage, we’re talking about Cocksox®, the infamous underwear and swimwear brand from Australia.

“We started out with one red underwear brief listed on eBay, almost as a dare,” laughs Nadiah Christensen, Cocksox® Creative Director, “And now look, seven years later and Cocksox® are all over the world!”

The question arose, how to celebrate seven years of Cocksox®?

“Thinking back to our first product, the red underwear brief, which we called Diablo Red, or ‘devil red’ it was obvious… seven years, seven deadly sins! Perfect!” says Nadiah.

Subtle is not a word that’s used around the Cocksox® HQ very often, as the Seven Deadly Sins campaign shows.

“I wanted people to have a shocked grin on their face when they first see our Seven Deadly Sins images. I think we succeeded,” laughs Nadiah.

Seven Deadly Sins has a very different look from previous Cocksox® campaigns. Stark white backgrounds and eye popping visuals tell the tale of each of the sins. Sydney based photographer Elvis Di Fazio came on board to shoot models Rogan Richards and Steve Williams to create the fantastic, stylised sins for Cocksox®.

“Lust is my favourite image in our campaign, and not just because those are my lipstick kisses on Rogan!” laughs Nadiah.

“There’s Greed, Lust, Anger, Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Sloth. Something for everyone,” jokes Nigel Christensen, Cocksox® Marketing Director. “I can’t decide whether gluttony or sloth is my favourite. Ideally I’d combine the two.”

“We really want our customers to share the fun with us and choose their favourite sin, tell us on Facebook or Twitter, tell their friends. Email us, we love hearing from our customers,” says Nadiah.

To add to the celebrations, Cocksox® are releasing a strictly limited edition Gold Cocksox® brief, as featured in the ‘Greed’ image, and a new colour in the Wet Look range, Regent Red.

“You can’t show greed without gold so we had a custom gold Cocksox® brief made,“ explains Nadiah. “It looked so incredible on our model that we had to make them available for sale, even if there’s only strictly limited number of them. We’re calling them the Cocksox® Bling, of course!”

You’ll be seeing the Cocksox® Seven Deadly Sins campaign all over the web and in your favourite underwear stores. Keep an eye out for posters and post cards in your part of the world. And be sure to tell Cocksox® which is your favourite sin.”

We got word today from Jockstrap Central that the classic jock, the one who started it all was being discontinued. This as we stated is the end of an era. This was the very first jockstrap I ever owned. It’s sad to see them going away. It’s one of those things you thought would be around for forever. Here is what we received from Jockstrap Central, it has bad and good news.

We knew it was going to happen eventually, but we’ve just heard officially that Bike #10 jockstraps are being discontinued world wide. As most of you know, Bike had discontinued them years ago for the North American market but we were still able to import them from Europe. Unfortunately, that’s coming to an end. We still have some stock and will try to buy up what’s left at the distributor, but you may want to snatch them up quickly before they’re gone for good.

However, it’s not all bad news, we’ve just heard that Bike is going to be making their modern jocks in colors. We haven’t seen them yet, but we’re excited about this news. Also good news is after being out of stock on the modern Bike jockstraps for a while, Bike was finally able to fill our order and we’re now pretty well stocked on modern Bike jockstraps.

Finally, if you missed last week’s newsletter, we have an amazing offer going on: We have a dozen styles of Baskit jockstraps and jock-briefs on clearance. All 12 styles are only $11.95 each. This a great deal for some pretty awesome high-quality, stylish fashion jocks.

Ultra boxer

Marcuse is going to release a new basic underwear line called ULTRA. As you can see by the pics, just because something says it’s basic doesn’t mean it’s boring. The new line will be available in black, white and grey. I can hear a few of you groan. I am admittedly not fan of most companies that use those three colors . However that said, I think the design is something that will win you over. When I first looked the pics over, I didn’t focus on color but the designs. It wasn’t till I read the email that I realized those were the only color choices.

Marcuse didn’t make them solid grey, black or white. They created a cool waistband that accents the color. One thing I really like is the Marcuse “R” is the same red that is used in the accent stitching. Also, they created a great pouch in the pair. You can tell they put a lot of work in this new line.

So these are anything but boring. Marcuse has designed a classic and fun line. Its great to see a company take on a basic line and put their own spin on it. You will be able to find these at the Marcuse site this next week!

Head on over to Los Angeles-based International Jock where every brand that’s “Made in America” is 25% off during the first week of July. With Independence Day upon us, International Jock suggests it’s time to take a peek at exactly where “American” underwear is coming from. Most underwear and swimwear isn’t born on U.S. soil. Nearly 98% of the clothes sold in the States are made overseas. With so much fashion created outside America, International Jock’s “Made in USA” sale makes it easier than ever to support those companies who have stayed loyal to the USA.

International Jock carries brands from all over the world and has always made it a point to seek out and support American manufacturers. The company carries an extensive line of fashion brands made exclusively in America and has seen a growing customer demand for American goods. Hot-selling “Made in USA” brands like Go Softwear, Pistol Pete, N2N, Sauvage Swimwear, and LA Sporting Club are just a few of the trendy designers that are currently burning up the charts at International Jock.

In a competitive retail environment where it can be financially enticing to move garment production out of the country, these brands have chosen to keep their manufacturing stateside despite various challenges. Greg Olvera, the president of Go Softwear, says that his company has been designing and manufacturing their clothing in downtown Los Angeles since 1996. “Manufacturing in the USA has its challenges, one being higher labor and material cost,” he says. “However, the benefits are better quality control, quick reaction time, minimal barriers, exclusivity, and most importantly, keeping jobs in the USA. And our customers love it!”

Not only does American production result in better quality assurance, but it is also great for the economy. Mike McGinley, CEO of LA Sporting Club, addresses the advantages of keeping clothing manufacturing in the U.S.: “Besides the immediate benefit that local workers receive with their paycheck, this income gets put back into the U.S. economy by giving them money to spend at local restaurants and stores.”

In addition to helping the economy and expanding U.S. exports (International Jock ships these brands all over the world), making garments in the same country where people buy them gives designers the upper hand in meeting consumers’ needs. McGinley explains, “If our customer wants a lime green swimsuit, chances are it isn’t being made by the thousands overseas. We, however, can fill that niche with our smaller, more unique production runs. LASC owners, managers and employees are tapped into the mainstream market and know what is happening in style trends in Europe and in the metro U.S. markets even before the average consumer knows what to expect in the coming seasons.”

While many clothing designers are American born and raised, others arrived in America and have remained faithful ever since. Sami Tarrab, the president of Pistol Pete, moved to the States with his family to pursue a better life. When it comes to why designers choose the patriotic route and stick to manufacturing on American soil, perhaps Tarrab says it best:

“We are at a price disadvantage when competing for stores and shelf space with brands made in China, India, or other countries. But producing in the USA affords us so much more: the ability to develop strong relationships with our contractors and attain amazing production turnaround, all while respecting the dignity of those we employ and caring for our environment.”

So, how does the future look for American clothing manufacturing? “Garment work is coming back to the U.S., as manufacturers realize that costs associated with shipping from overseas are increasing,” says Simon Southwood, the Vice-President of Sauvage Swimwear. “And, the public is more aware, and given the choice, will buy American.” International Jock has made that choice easier and more affordable than ever by lowering the prices on all of their American brands and identifying them with prominent “Made in USA” logos.

When pulling on their favorite pair of briefs, American men need to remember that those undies support more than what’s between their legs.
