I know many of us love to wear something skimpy, not just because it’s sexy but it boosts our confidence. BodyAware has the new Sweet Mini Tanga. This brief will feel like you aren’t wearing anything under your pants/jeans. This is one of the newest and hottest styles in men’s underwear.

Hey guys, I owe you an apology.
This weekend was a total mess, and yes, it’s 100% my fault. I tried to make things better… and ended up breaking everything instead—classic me.
Here’s what happened: late last week, my hosting provider — who shall remain nameless, but you probably know who they are — started having some serious issues. The blog went down, pages were mixing, and I couldn’t log in to anything. It was chaos.
I’ve been considering relocating my sites outside of the U.S. for a while, and a friend recommended a hosting company they highly recommend. They said the setup was smooth and straightforward. So I thought, “Why not? Let’s give it a shot.”
Yeah… that was mistake number one.
Now, I’ve migrated plenty of WordPress sites before. I know the process — export the database, upload your files, swap out a few folders, and you’re done. Easy, right?
This time, though, it just didn’t go according to plan.
The new host offered to handle the migration for me, which sounded great… until things started acting weird. Pages wouldn’t load, some links broke, and a few settings were completely off. I’d fix one thing, and something else would pop up.
And when I got to migrating UNB — the big one — everything really went sideways.
No matter what I did, the backups wouldn’t restore correctly. I had multiple backups ready to go — Jetpack, local copies, a paid migration tool — but nothing was syncing the way it should.
Passwords didn’t work, logins got stuck, and at one point, WordPress was displaying one theme publicly while using another behind the scenes—a total head-scratcher. I even dove into the SQL database (because yes, I’m that person) and tried to sort it out manually… still no luck.
The hosting company used a mix of AI and live text chat for support — and honestly, my issues were just too complex for that kind of setup. I tried explaining the situation, sent screenshots, and walked through everything as clearly as I could, but it just wasn’t getting resolved.
After two days of troubleshooting, I hit the point where I realized I needed to cut my losses and regroup.
Thankfully, I never cancel an old host until the new one is 100% up and running.
Everything was still in its original position, where it had been before the experiment began.
I finally decided, “You know what? Let’s go back.”
I redirected the domains, started restoring things to the old servers, and within a few hours, pieces started falling back into place.
Yeah, my old host has its quirks, but at least I can talk to someone if things go sideways. And after this weekend, that feels like a big win.
Oh, and because life has a sense of humor? This all happened on UNB’s 17th anniversary.
Seventeen years of running this site… and I couldn’t even log in to post about it.
You have to laugh at that point.
Meanwhile, I was supposed to be doing schoolwork for my master’s program. I planned to spend Sunday studying, but instead, I spent it fighting with databases. So yeah — it was that kind of weekend.
What did I learn?
I also learned that I’m very patient — until I’m not. Once I hit that limit, diplomacy leaves the chat. But hey, I’m working on it!
If you’ve had trouble accessing the blog or podcast lately, I’m genuinely sorry. I was trying to make things faster, safer, and more reliable — it just didn’t go the way I hoped.
Everything’s backed up and on its way back to normal. I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support through the chaos.
Now, I’m off to finish redirecting a few domains, grab a cup of coffee (or maybe something more substantial), and take a deep breath.
Here’s to smoother migrations, calmer Mondays, and fewer “learning experiences.”

I spent the day of the start of the 18th year of UNB trying to get the site up and running. It was ironic that on the anniversary of this site, I was trying to reverse a host change. Hosting has been one of the most significant issues I have and will continue to have with UNB, across the blog and podcasts. I had a great idea, but I reached the point where I had to cut my losses and get the site and podcast back up.
I have written several posts thanking those who have genuinely contributed to making UNB what it is. I have thanked all I can, and it’s just a rehash of the previous ones. Plus, UNB is constantly evolving. The site, as it was in 2008, is different from the site in 2015, and that is one of the successes of this site: my willingness to try new things and continually improve it. Had I had time this weekend, I would have created a proper post with graphics. However, I sat down tonight to work on graphics, and my creative juices weren’t flowing. It was more frustrating than creating a vision.
I decided to discuss some of the milestones and achievements I’m most proud of over the past 17 years at UNB.
October 2008 – My six-month project was born, launched on Blogger, and by March the following year, we had our first WordPress site. Those six months have turned into something amazing.
May 2009 – Brief Talk Podcast launched. Although the podcast got its start in 2009, it never really caught on and is nowhere near the show we have now, but it was fun. If only I had known what I know now!
February 2010 – My first trip to Vegas and Magic. It was a 24-hour trip, and I never had the chance to walk the strip or explore anything beyond the Mandalay Bay, but this would start a love affair with the city of Vegas.
August 2010 – The first UNB Meetup in Las Vegas. We invited all the brands to meet up at the Lotus at Mandalay Bay for a get-together. It was small and crowded, but the people I met that night have become lifelong friends. Including Mr Andrew from N2N, we did a 2 am run to McD’s at the Luxor after talking for a few hours. I would continue this trend, but move it to the Luxor. The popularity ebbed and flowed, but it was always a good time.
May 2012 – The first UNB Swim Guide. OMG Talk about a learning experience. We had too many pairs of swimsuits, three models, and an hour drive. We shot on a lake south of Atlanta and had three inexperienced models. It was fun and the start of several more shoots. There are so many stories from these shoots.
October 2012 – The first Holiday Guide. I had tried to shoot these earlier, but I was out by Black Friday. They would be shot over the next few years. The locations would sometimes be last-minute, but we would make it work.
MAY 2015 – We were threatened with a lawsuit by a competitor. This is something I have not shared publicly, but it made me realize I have to run this like a business, not a hobby. This was done away with, and I haven’t looked back or thought of this competitor again. It was a great learning experience.
2018 – I forget which month, but we relaunch the Brief Talk Podcast, and something amazing happens. We find our groove and start making some incredible content. I even amaze myself sometimes.
July 2019 – UNB Store is launched – The one thing I said I would never do: I opened a store. It’s a lot of work and I need to focus on it more!!! I need to grow it, but we sell some great undies and also some UNB Merch.
May 2020 – UNB Tim Art is born. During the pandemic, I sought ways to alleviate stress. I always loved drawing and took it up again on the iPad. Over 2020, I developed my style and continue to refine it.
2023 – The first launch of a spin-off podcast, “Brief Talk After Dark.” This is the spicier side of UNB and underwear. I have a lot planned for this show.
November 2023 – I stop doing the Black Friday sales Brief. This became too much work, and since sales now span over a week, it was impossible to keep up with them. It has been a tradition since 2008, but I didn’t have the time to sort through and constantly post. It was a sad day, but I didn’t have the availability to keep it up.
Things I did but don’t remember when they were:
Swim Brief Challenge – We launched the Swim Brief Challenge to encourage guys to wear swim briefs in public. This needs to be brought back and added in thongs.
Website redesigns – I have been through five different designs. The original, V2, V3, V4, and V5. I kept the original for longer than I should have, but it was comfortable, and I loved those designs. I tested V2 and showed off the blog design in Vegas, launching it without too many issues. V3 came a lot sooner. It was a similar design but with some new features. However, this one decided to stop working, and I have to quickly find a new theme and get it up and running. Then we finally have the current version, which I love because it’s clean and flows well. Yes, there will be more, but hopefully I will have plenty of time to work on it.
Friends I have gained – I look back and see all the friends I have gained from doing the blog and underwear. Some have come and gone over the years, but I’m so thankful for having had them in my life. I look forward to making more friends and encouraging more guys to live their best lives.
Technology Fails and Perseverance – I have had numerous tech failures, from server crashes to database issues, and more. This taught me the power of Google and my own abilities. I can now accomplish so much more than I thought possible, and I love that I can tackle most issues and resolve them.
I probably have 200 more things I’m forgetting, but these are a few things I’m proud of, and yes, I dropped a few things many prob never knew before. I hope this brings me more years at UNB and builds this fantastic community of extraordinary guys across the sexual spectrum to keep preaching.
I appreciate your support, and I know I love you all. BIG HUG

When you hear the phrase “cup check,” your mind might flash back to middle school gym class or awkward locker room moments. But on the latest episode of Brief Talk After Dark, we unpacked so much more than just nostalgia—we explored the surprising depth behind athletic cups and their place in queer culture, masculinity, and kink today.
This wasn’t just a one-note conversation about sportswear. It was an honest, funny, and gear-filled discussion with two amazing guests, Andrew and Alex, who brought their personal experiences, favorite gear stories, and a whole lot of insight into the mix.
The episode opens with a question that sparks immediate stories: “How did you first get into cups?”
For Andrew, it was sports. He recalled being a young kid playing baseball and MMA when his dad brought home his first cup and jock combo. For Alex and myself, it wasn’t about sports at all—we were the theater and choir kids. But something about that early exposure still left an impression. Alex joked, “As a little kid, I would’ve rather played in traffic than wear one. But then I became a teenager and thought, ‘This is kind of awesome.’”
I shared my own story—wearing cups not for protection, but because they made me feel confident. “I wore a cup to work at the bank,” I said in the episode. “It was my little secret confidence booster.”
One of the most surprising parts of our conversation was the detail we got into about how cups have evolved. Back in the day, most cups were simple, flat, and uncomfortable. But today? There are curved designs, rubber edging, better materials, and even ballistic-level protection.
“There are companies now making $600 bulletproof cups,” Andrew noted, “with wild designs like knockoff Louis Vuitton prints and American flag themes.”
These aren’t just about function anymore—they’re about identity, self-expression, and sometimes pure indulgence. Many of us collect them the way some collect sneakers or watches.
One fascinating theme was the contradiction between how less common cups are in actual sports now, and how morevisible they are in fetish and queer spaces. “It used to be required for most contact sports,” Andrew said, “but now if you wear a cup in the locker room, you’re the weird one.”
And yet, there’s a growing online and in-person community of guys who wear them just for fun. Sometimes it’s nostalgic, sometimes it’s kink, and sometimes it’s about channeling a version of masculinity we didn’t get to access growing up.
As Alex said, “There’s something hypermasculine about boxing groin protectors. They’re huge, impossible to hide. It’s like, ‘my manhood is in your face.’”
We also talked about the crossover of kink culture, how cups blend into spandex, leather, wrestling singlets, and more. “There are no rules in kink anymore,” I said. “You can mix spandex, leather, and a cup—and just make it yours.”
Let’s be honest—there’s an aesthetic element here too. As I admitted on the show, “What first drew me in was the bulge. I liked how it looked under jeans. It felt hot, powerful.”
But beyond that, cups provide a unique sense of comfort. There’s something about wearing one under your clothes that’s both private and exciting. Andrew put it perfectly: “You wear a cup out in public, and no one knows but you—and that’s the fun of it.”
Even more fun? Realizing you’re not alone. Sharing stories, swapping gear, and connecting with others who appreciate the same things—whether it’s for nostalgia, kink, or fashion—makes the experience even better.
At its heart, Cup Check was about more than gear. It was about growing into who you are, reclaiming things you didn’t have access to growing up, and finding community around something as unexpected as a piece of molded plastic.
We had a lot of laughs, plenty of real talk, and a few “wait, you too?” moments. It reminded me why I started Brief Talk After Dark in the first place—to create space for conversations we don’t always get to have out loud.
Listen to the full episode of Cup Check now on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
If you’ve ever worn a cup, collected them, or just wanted to understand the appeal—this one’s for you.
Have a favorite cup story or a wish list item? Let me know. And yes, we’re already planning a part two.

We send you back to September 2020, we were just coming out of COVID and Candyman released their larger sizes. I loved seeing this and we need more of this but I don’t think this has continued, Its a shame because sepaking as a big boy, and former big boy, we want more than boxer briefs. And want to feel sexy AF in our undies.

Let’s face it—finding the perfect winter base layer or cold-weather training gear for men is no easy task. Most options are either outdated in design, stiff in feel, or completely lacking that all-important sex appeal. That’s where Ergowear steps in to rewrite the rulebook with their latest innovation: the MAX BOLD Pouch Leggings.
Why choose between long johns and sports tights when you can have both? These leggings are built for performance and everyday wear. Whether you’re layering under jeans on a chilly morning or hitting the gym on a brisk afternoon, they adapt seamlessly to your lifestyle. Think of them as your go-to for both warmth and style.
The standout feature? Ergowear’s signature MAX pouch. Engineered in a nose-shaped, 3-dimensional design, this pouch gently lifts and supports your package without the typical tight, restrictive feel of most athletic tights. The ergonomic shape ensures everything stays in place—no constant adjusting, no awkward compression. Just pure comfort and freedom of movement.

These leggings are crafted from a custom-made polyamide/elastane microfiber blend that checks all the boxes:
This smooth, dual-sided fabric eliminates friction when layered under pants or denim, making them perfect for day-long wear.
The design features a bold, satin-finish waistband—measuring 50mm wide—offering both style and support. With the Ergowear logo on the front and isotope symbol on the back, the waistband is made from durable, soft fibers that won’t shrink or lose shape over time.

It’s back the Fire Island Thong at N2N Bodywear. This is a modern classic for N2N, the side buckle is iconic at this point. They made it a bit more sexier and fun turning it into the little black thong all guys need to have. Check it out before it goes.

I love it when a company makes a statement like this, “Men can wear leggings too. And I’ll show you that with this new drop.” LVW is making work out gear and is encouraging all men to wear leggings. This is a message I can 100% support.

Are you looking for singlets more on the “fun” side and less on the athletic side? If so one brand that is making some skimpy and fun singlets is Gruff Pup. They have mesh, zippers, and fun cutouts that make them fun to wear.

I’m being a little nostalgic with this throw back Thursday. This is the first big shoot I did with UNB. This is our UNB Swim guide in 2012. I hope I can do more shoots soon

one thing I love about Kapow Meggings is they aew showing guys of all sizes should wear spandex. We need to celebrate this and support all guys willing to wear spandex

MODUS VIVENDI unveils Floral Lace Line & the “Laced Portrait” Campaign – FW26 Collection
MODUS VIVENDI proudly presents the Floral Lace Line, a bold and evocative addition to the FW26 Collection that celebrates the art of fearless self-expression. Step into a world where sensuality meets individuality, where elegance is paired with audacity, and where clothing becomes a medium for rebellion.
The Floral Lace Line is crafted from elasticated, semi-transparent knitted floral lace, combining delicate sophistication with a provocative edge. Sheer and diaphanous, the collection plays with light and movement, creating silhouettes that blur the lines between traditional notions of sensuality and modern fashion-forward design. Darkly poetic and fluidly seductive, the line is a tribute to individuals who embrace creativity without compromise. From underwear to apparel, each piece flirts with lingerie conventions, reimagining them in a contemporary context that is unapologetically daring.
Inspired by the raw sensitivity of the contemporary landscape, the Floral Lace Line captures the tension between fragility and strength. The fabric’s transparency speaks to vulnerability, while its structured form and bold patterns convey confidence and audacity. The collection is designed for those who see fashion not merely as clothing, but as an extension of identity — a canvas for self-expression, rebellion, and personal storytelling.
The campaign, “The Laced Portrait,” brings this vision vividly to life. Featuring a striking portrait of a man enveloped in layers of lace, the imagery captures the interplay between concealment and exposure, elegance and provocation. The photograph reflects the collection’s ethos: sensuality intertwined with artistic expression, dark poetry, and a fearless approach to personal style. Each image in the campaign serves as a statement, inviting viewers to engage with fashion as a form of narrative and rebellion.
Through the Floral Lace Line, MODUS VIVENDI continues to push the boundaries of contemporary fashion, merging craftsmanship, innovative materials, and conceptual design. This collection speaks to those who dare to challenge convention, who celebrate individuality, and who wear their creativity as boldly as they live it.

Today we take you back to September 2019! This is the collection Candyman Released! The lifestyle pics were shot using a stripper pole, they were a lot of fun and perfect for the brand.

MODUS VIVENDI proudly announces the arrival of its FW26 Collection, a seasonal journey that brings together timeless heritage, innovative design, and modern sophistication. Each release in this collection will unfold a new story, exploring how culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary aesthetics can merge into everyday wear. The first line to debut is the Linen Line, setting the stage for the collection with its understated elegance and natural authenticity.
Linen Redefined
Linen has long been admired as one of the most breathable and skin-friendly fabrics—a material woven into history for its purity and resilience. MODUS VIVENDI elevates this timeless textile with a premium elasticated linen-blend fabric designed for the needs of modern life. Soft to the touch, hypoallergenic, and moisture-wicking, the fabric ensures superior comfort while keeping the skin cool and dry.
The knitted construction enriches the fabric with flexibility and durability, allowing it to adapt effortlessly to the body’s movements. This blend of nature and innovation makes the Linen Line an ideal choice for men who demand both performance and refinement in their everyday essentials.
The Line
The Linen Line includes a curated selection of briefs, boxers, and comfy shorts, each crafted with a regular fit to offer gentle support without compromising on comfort. The waistband design is a signature detail—featuring the ancient Greek meander motif, a decorative symbol of unity and infinity that elevates these essentials into pieces of cultural significance. This subtle yet powerful element connects contemporary men’s underwear with centuries of Hellenic artistry.
The Kallos Campaign
To celebrate the launch of the Linen Line, MODUS VIVENDI presents the Kallos Campaign. Inspired by the Greek concept of “Kallos,” meaning beauty that radiates from both form and spirit, the campaign portrays a man immersed in his morning routine. This visual narrative reflects the essence of the Linen Line: simplicity, balance, and elegance in everyday rituals.
The campaign emphasizes how true sophistication is found in harmony—between body and mind, between comfort and style, between heritage and modernity. Just as linen has been cherished for centuries as a fabric of natural grace, the Kallos Campaign highlights its role in shaping a lifestyle that is both authentic and refined.
Greek Heritage at the Core
At its heart, MODUS VIVENDI is a brand deeply rooted in Greek heritage. Each collection pays tribute to the cultural richness of its origins while presenting designs that resonate globally. The use of the meander key design in the Linen Line is more than an aesthetic choice—it is a continuation of a classical legacy, reimagined for today’s world. By incorporating this iconic motif, MODUS VIVENDI bridges past and present, uniting ancient symbolism with contemporary style.
The Linen Line is more than underwear—it is a statement of tradition, comfort, and cultural sophistication. As the first release of the FW26 Collection, it reflects the brand’s ongoing mission: to redefine men’s essentials through the fusion of premium materials, elevated design, and timeless artistry.
Born and crafted in Greece, MODUS VIVENDI is a brand that proudly carries the essence of its homeland in every collection.
