Andrew Christian has come out with a new style. It’s the NanoFit Sports Boxer. It’s a pair designed with a longer leg, about 11.5 inches in length. This is the longest pair I have seen from Andrew Christian. Some of the new features are:

Review: Andrew Christian Shockjock Flirt Brief

My Second outing on my Enhancement Underwear journey was with the Andrew Christian Shockjock Flirt Brief. This particular style is what inspired me to start thinking about the different styles of enhancing undies. When I first saw Shockjock Flirt Brief I thought “This has gone too far!” Andrew Christian is one of my favorite brands, so put my initial thoughts aside and gave them a try.

The Shockjock brief, according to Andrew Christian, can add up to 2 inches ( 5cm ) to your frontal measurement. This enhancement is accomplished by means of an insert which they call the “Active Shaping Technology Cup.” This “cup” is inserted into the brief in a pouch. This cup is essentially a padding that is shaped to look like a man’s bulge.

As with virtually every pair of Andrew Christian I have worn, the Shockjock brief was extremely comfortable. It is made of 90% Cotton and 10% Spandex so the stretch is apparent.

Here are my thoughts on the Shockjock Flirt Brief:

Fit –5/5- The size provided to me was a small, and the fit was perfect for me. The stretch of the fabric will provide anyone with a great fit. Plenty of room up front, even with the cup insert put in.
Comfort –5/5- Since the enhancement is provided by the cup and not by your own goods, you don’t have to put them in a cup or pouch or sling. It feels like you are wearing traditional undies with a tiny pillow up front.
Enhancement Factor – 5/5- Whether naturally big or small, the cup really will add 2 inches to your front. The male features on the cup attempt to make the bulge look natural, but to me it just looks like you are padded.
Deception Factor – 5/5- I gave the Shockjock Flirt Brief the highest Deception Factor because I have a few problems. If you are close enough to someone where they are going to see you in your underwear and be so close as to see male features on your bulge, then most likely that pair is coming off. I think it would be an embarrassing moment when they determine the package doesn’t match the wrapping.

Final Thought – My second wear of the pair I did without the cup insert in place. This is how I will wear this pair in the future–just another comfortable stylish Andrew Christian design that is better off without the cup gimmick.

Andrew Christian Website Fixed

If you have been to the Andrew Christian site lately you may have experienced issues. I was there last night for some things for the site and was unable to connect. Here is what they sent out today:

If you tried to place an order with us over the last three days you may have run into a slow website, offline website or you may not have been able to fully process your transaction. Our site was experiencing several different technical issues that our server team has been working tirelessly to resolve. The good news is they feel as if the site issues are now completely fixed.

We are very sorry for any and all trouble, issues and general slowness that you may have experience while trying to shop with use in the last few days.

We greatly appreciate your loyalty and value your time. We have extended the end date of our Flash Sale, which was running during our technical problems, to Friday, March 18, 2011.

Celebrity Fashion Designer Andrew Christian Introduced a Limited Edition Good Luck Brief just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

Now the Irish aren’t the only ones that can harness the power of good luck, Andrew Christian introduces the Good Luck Brief…so everyone can GET LUCKY.

Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, the Good Luck Brief features a lucky horseshoe and four leaf clover print on the back. The inside of the brief features Show-It Technology with a hidden “comfy cup” for extra lift and support. The shaped inner front is lined by soft elastic that adds up to 1.5 inches to a man’s frontal measurement and provides some of the biggest enhancement of any underwear on the market. The underwear also features a multi-depth woven elastic with the Andrew Christian logo. This is a Limited Edition style and only around 300 were made…so when they are gone…they are gone forever.

Year of the Jock, 2011?

I am back from Magic/Curve and I must admit it’s a great time but it wears you out. I know you are saying “you go talk to underwear makers/designers and see underwear models, what’s so hard about that?” Well, the amount of walking in Las Vegas is mind blowing. I am always worn out after the shows.

One thing I really noticed was jocks. I have seen them around but they seem to be a lot more prevalent this year. Most of the collections I saw had at least one jock if not more. There seems to be a rebirth going on for the jock.

Collections where I saw jocks are:

These are the ones I can come up with off the top of my head. Jocks are no longer the Bike #10 traditional jock. They are made out of mesh, spandex and sometimes lace. Jocks also have lace up pouches (like shoes), more then one strap and cross between briefs and jocks. If you had asked me a few years ago if you could improve on the jock, I would never have guessed all the innovations designers have come up with.

Then you have companies that have built businesses on jockstraps. The two that come to mind are Jockstrap Central and McKillop U/W. Jockstrap Central is your main store for anything jock related. You name it they will probably have it in jocks. Last year they scored the extremely hard to get Bike #10. They wouldn’t tell me how they did it but I know it wasn’t easy! Second, McKillop U/W has done some amazing work in designing new and great fitting jocks. They have color, an amazing pouch and even new materials. They are doing some great work and if you love jocks I say you try them.

This week alone we saw the release of two new jocks. The first was from Bone Wear and the second was from Pipe. It seems each week we see more and more jocks. That is the reason I pushed this post back to Friday. I was going to post it on Wed but the release of two jocks in one week kind of made my point.
