Bike class white Jockstrap for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Bike Athletic.

Rating: 8/10

  • Daily Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 8/10
  • Styling: 8/10
  • Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros

  • A good pouch (not a cup pouch) made out of woven breathable material
  • The pouch is very stretchy, so plenty of wiggle room
  • Leg straps sit comfortable and don’t dig in
  • It comes in multiple colors black, white, red, and blue
  • Sizing goes from X-Small to 3 XL

Cons

  • The pouch is a bit narrow towards the waistband
  •  2″ waistband is thicker than most brand

Erik recommendation: whether you’re into the classic or modern look in terms of comfort, this Bike jock is an excellent addition to any underwear drawer. If you’re looking for comfort, this jockstrap is excellent for both exercising and all-day wear. Looks wise, it definitely gives that classic jock look to make you feel strong or for an impromptu photoshoot.

This is my first time wearing Bike, and I must say I am not disappointed. This jockstrap has a much wider waistband than I am used to. It didn’t pinch or roll. While I usually only wear jockstraps at the gym, I could see this as daily wear as well.

I wore this during my cardio workout because I like the flexibility. The straps didn’t dig into my legs or ride up like other brands I’ve worn. This kept everything in place during my jog and time on the elliptical without having to readjust everything every so often. While I don’t usually wear jockstraps for all-day wear, I can definitely see this being a comfortable pair to wear.

The construction of this jockstrap is very well done. The pouch is a supporter pouch (not a cup pouch) and is a woven fabric that I felt would begin to fray after a couple of uses, but it’s held its shape for after multiple uses and washes. While I prefer a wider pouch, this one gets a tad bit narrow as it got up towards the waistband, which isn’t my favorite look on my body anyway.

I received a large labeled 36-38 waist, which is the size I usually wear, and it fit as intended. Over this past year, my weight has fluctuated slightly, so I was expecting this to be super tight. It fit rather nicely even after adding a few extra lbs. It can be frustrating when not all brands use the same fit standards, but this jock was true to size.

While not all brands offer, the classic jockstrap Bike has definitely set the bar on looks and feel. While this may differ from a modern jockstrap, this would be an excellent addition for any gym-goer or underwear enthusiast.

Bike Athletic furnished the Athletic Classic Jockstrap for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Bike

Rating: 8.6/10

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 8/10
  • Styling: 8/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros

  • The classic is back!
  • Super comfy throughout the day
  • Great for active day and the gym

Cons

  • I wish the pouch were wider at the top

I was excited to try the classic jocks by Bike. I have very fond memories of the jocks from my younger days. At the same time, this jock isn’t’ classic #10. It’s still a classic and produced after the initial #10 jock was retired. When I slid it on, there was one thing that caught my attention. The pouch didn’t fit snug as I usually liked, and I hoped this pair would live up to the memories I had. There was only one way to see, and that was to wear it for the day.

Since I was wearing a jock, I decided to wear this on an active day. It was a lot of running around and lifting this day. As I got busy throughout my day, I forgot I was wearing a jock. That means I never noticed the leg straps or the pouch. Much to my worry, the pouch held up well. I guess I like a wider top to the pouch. I still would love it to be a bit wider at the top; that is my only complaint about this pair. As I moved through the day, everything stayed in place, and the legs didn’t roll, waistband bunch, or the pouch lost support.

The Construction on both jocks I have reviewed for BIKE has been pretty good. There have been no issues with fabric or Construction.  I judge the jock by the leg straps. I have had jocks in the past rip the leg straps. After wearing, I always inspected, and I didn’t see any loose threads or stitching. Also, I haven’t heard anyone out there complain about the jocks either. This means they are doing a pretty good job at making these astounding jocks.

Sizing hasn’t been an issue with me. I am an XL and size 42 right now. The XL wasn’t binding or constricting in the waistband. When I used to wear jocks to college, they would be so tight that They would drive me crazy halfway through the day. Running around and doing my job didn’t bind me and caused any restrictive motions when I was running around and doing my job. I’m kind of impressed by it.

If you are looking for a classic jock that meets form and functions, the Classic Jockstrap. The new Bike isn’t quite like the old Bike, but it’s doing a great job recreating the classics. I’m happy because they are making the classics but wearable and functional for sports and every day.

Bike Athletic furnished the Mesh Jockstrap for review. . All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Bike Athletic

Rating: 8/10

  • Daily Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 8/10
  • Styling: 8/10
  • Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros:

  • A good pouch made out of a nice mesh material.
  • The waistband is tight but not too tight to bind and feel uncomfy
  • Leg straps feel great and never twisted or felt tight
  • It comes in green my favorite color.
  • Sizing goes from X-Small to 3 Extra Large

Cons

  • The pouch is a bit smaller, it could be a bit wider at the top but that’s my personal preference
  • Some guys may not like it’s just in green (I think this is a pro)
  • If you are big fan of the classic #10 jock you may not like the modern design.

UNB Tim recommendation: If you are looking for a solid jock, the Bike Atheltic Mesh Jock is a great pair to choose. To me, it feels really nice against the skin. The pair lives up to the history of the Bike Brand and is a great new generation of jocks. It can be worn as regular underwear or as athletic wear. I def would suggest adding this to your underwear drawer if you are a jock fan or even a semi jock fan.

It’s great to see an iconic brand like Bike back in business. For a while there it seemed the brand would be banished into the underwear wasteland. I grew up wearing Bike jocks and it was almost a rite of passage to get your first jock for sports. Even after sports, I would wear them under jeans and for fun times. Then in the in recent years the brand ended (or thereabouts). The new brand has taken the classic designs and updated them for modern times.

The first pair I am reviewing is the Mesh Jockstrap in Olive. May I note that this is my favorite color! This pair had a leg up on every other pair just for that. I was going to be active and such but decided to have a low-key day and relax around the house. This won’t put it through the paces as athletic but will for underwear. Plus, most guys I know wear jocks for everyday wear and not just athletic.

When I first slid the pair on I noticed the pouch was a bit smaller than I remembered and fit a little different at first. This gave me concern that the pouch may not hold up to a day’s wear. However, as the day wore on I was pleasantly surprised by the pouch. It may be cut smaller but it’s really comfortable, The mesh fabric felt tremendous and not like a cheese grater. Another thing I loved about this pair was it didn’t feel like I was wearing a jock, ok bare with me for a sec. When you wear a jock many times, the leg straps can dig in or twist and annoy you throughout the day. Or, the waistband can be tight and restricting. When I talked to Bike, they said this was one of their popular styles, and I can tell why, other than the color, it fits great, and the mesh fabric is breathable and comfy.

Sizing is always different for each brand. It can run small or large. Overall I have to say Bike is pretty spot on. The waistband fits nice but is not too tight. I don’t feel like it’s digging into me. I received an XL, which is the standard size I wear, and it’s perfect for me. The older versions would always be super tight and sometimes bind; the newer ones seem not to have that issue.

Overall, it’s a great pair. It’s a two thumbs up from me and a must for any jock lovers drawer. I don’t think you guys will be disappointed in the slightest. I will have more Bike Jock reviews soon, so stay tuned.

Box Menswear furnished the Men’s Red Jockstrap for review. All opinions are that of the reviewer

Rating: 8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 7/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 8/10
  • Styling: 5/10
  • Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros: Construction, Sizing

Cons: Style, Pouch, Price

Box Menswear is a brand I’ve seen a lot of on social media, yet I had not yet tried. I was excited when I received a couple of jocks to try. While I would recommend both, this particular one comes with a more limited recommendation. Read on to understand what I mean.

Let’s start with the good…this jock held up well for a workout. It checked off the boxes for me for being comfortable and keeping everything in place. That said, where it lacks for me is in design. It’s a very simple and basic design, which isn’t my taste. There just isn’t anything, desig- wise, in this jock that really stands out among a sea of jock brands. That makes me feel the price point is a little high for such a basic design.

As far as construction goes, this is a solidly constructed jock, sure to stand up to lots of workouts over time. The straps around the butt were pretty comfortable (which isn’t always the case with jocks). The area where I encountered some issues was with the pouch. While everything fit, I felt as if my equipment was being flattened. This would be a jock I’d wear to the gym, but not one I’d wear in the bedroom if I were trying to make an impression with my package. That said, the cotton fabric of the pouch itself is comfortable, so it really depends on what activities you plan for this jock.

Now let’s take a minute to discuss sizing. I always recommend that guys pay attention to size charts as they can vary from brand to brand. This is certainly the case for Box Menswear. I usually wear a size medium and likely would have ordered that had I not paid attention to the size chart. Turns out that I actually needed to order down a size too small! So if you’re someone who feels a little self-conscious about your weight, Box Menswear might make you feel just a little bit better!

Overall, this jock is okay. It doesn’t really excite me, but it’s solid for a workout. I think this jock would appeal more to a guy looking for function over fashion. It holds up well for a workout and is comfortable, so give it a try if the style catches your eye.

Box Menswear provided the Totally Transparent Varsity Mesh Jockstrap. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Box Menswear.

Rating: 9.4/10 (Average of the ratings below

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: Sex Appeal, Comfort, Sizing

Cons: Only one color option, Price

Having seen, but never tried Box Menswear, I was excited to have the opportunity to try a couple of their jockstraps. Out of the two I tried, this was, by far my favorite.

I found this jock to be perfect for lounging around the house and for fun in the bedroom. I think it could also be a sexy fun secret under your work clothes in an office setting (if those settings still exist). I found this jock to be the perfect combination of sexy and comfort, which isn’t the easiest to achieve!

Let’s dive into the sexy and comfort aspect by talking about comfort first. The moment I opened the package and felt the fabric in my hands, I knew I was in for a treat. The Polyamide/Spandex mix feels smooth and sexy against your skin and the design of the pouch allows everything to hang naturally and comfortably. The sex appeal is brought out nicely by the thin, transparent fabric and is elevated even more by the mesh side panels.

As far as sizing, these really fit like a glove….as long as you get the right size. I found that I had to go down one size based on their size chart. This was an added boost to the self-esteem, especially after packing on some quarantine pounds

Overall, there are few things I didn’t like about this jock. The price point is a bit high, but the fabric, quality construction, and sex appeal are all there and justify the price point in my opinion. If you’ve been on the hunt for a jockstrap that is both comfortable and sexy, this is one you should add to your collection.

Pros: Pouch breathes exceptionally well, leg straps don’t cut into glutes, excellent pouch support

Cons: Manufacturing tag needs to be a tear-off, not a plastic sheet needing to be cut off.

Jockstrap Junkie recommendation: Jack Adams created a nice all-around jockstrap that is both function and fashion. Very few jockstraps I’ve tried over the years hit all of the requirements I have for a jock, and the Nano Jockstrap knocked it out of the park.

This is my second round trying Jack Adams jockstraps. Several years ago, I tried one of their jocks and found out that I didn’t have enough ass to fill it up. Fast forward to today, I’ve done enough squats to justify owning multiple Jack Adams jockstraps. The Nano Jockstrap is a great all-around jockstrap, especially during the hot & humid summer months. The micro-mesh pouch provides excellent support while allowing the bat & balls to breathe. Another great feature of the micro-mesh is that you don’t feel like the boys are getting pushed through a strainer as with other mesh pouch jockstraps.

I wore the Nano Jockstrap while doing everything over the summer, and this jock has been in my normal rotation of jocks, and it gets worn about once a week. Whether you’re working out, mowing the lawn, hanging out & being lazy, or out on the town, Jack Adams hit a home run because you’ll be comfortable in all aspects. The breathability is the biggest asset of this jockstrap.

Micro-mesh is fantastic, being constructed from 67% Lyocell/33% Cotton, you get great support and no swamp nuts. The pouch is single-layered with a center seam as well as an accent stripe in one of the pouch corners along with contrasting piping pouch edge for a nice look. A 1-7/8″ waistband and 1-1/8″ leg straps construct this classic silhouette with the leg straps attaching under the waistband, creating a nice eye-line around the waist. On the waistband, the ‘jack adams’ name is prominently displayed on the front of the jockstrap.

Jack Adams offers the Nano Jockstrap in sizes ranging from Small to X-Large. I purchased a large and the fit is perfect. For those of us with larger glutes, the Nano Jockstrap is awesome because the leg straps don’t dig into your butt cheeks. When wearing all day outside, active, and sweating, the pouch maintains its shape and support. A word of caution for those who don’t have much junk in the trunk, this jockstrap may not be a good fit as the leg straps may sag on you.

The Jack Adams Nano Jockstrap is a nice addition to the underwear drawer. Whether you wear it in the bedroom, the boardroom, or the gym, you won’t be disappointed.

Pros: Great novelty & fun branding, classic cut, comfortable

Cons: Only has two sizes, sizing runs small, the pouch doesn’t breathe well

Jockstrap Junkie recommendation: If you like meat, add some “prime beef” to your underwear drawer. All puns intended.

As a junkie of underwear, especially jockstraps, and also have a bit of humor in my personality, I purchased the Meat Classic Jockstraps purely for the novelty value. The waistband has “Meat” on the front and “Prime Beef” on the back of the waistband. The writing makes for a fun conversation jockstrap. I did take a gamble with sizing on this jockstrap, which I will discuss a bit later in this review; otherwise, this jock didn’t disappoint on the novelty factors.

Per my usual routine, I give a jockstrap an all-around wearing. I’m not a fan for wearing the Meat Classic Jockstrap for working out. My beef is that the pouch doesn’t breathe well due to the double lining. One of my main reasons for wearing a jock is for breathability. However, the pouch is very comfortable, has ample support, keeps form, and I would wear for a night out, lounging around, or every day.

For a novelty brand, I was expecting the quality to be “choice” however, Meat Underwear came thru, and “prime” is what I got. This was a pleasant surprise. The nylon/Spandex blend makes for a nice smooth finish on the pouch, the waistband is a soft material, and the leg straps don’t cut into the rump or hammies. I would describe the silhouette of this jock as a classic cut where the leg straps connect to the waistband at the hip, and the pouch covers the sausage & meatballs. Pouch support is pretty standard, no extra lift features, and the double finish seam creates a nice finish both inside and outside of the pouch.

Material 86% Nylon
14% Spandex
Silhouette Classic
Pouch Double Lined

Sizes S/M 28″ – 34″
L/XL 36″ – 42″

Here’s where I gambled and lost on the first try. With the sizing of S/M is 28″ – 34″, I thought I’d try the S/M as I have a 34″ waist. I was wrong as the sizing is close to the lower end of the range; therefore, my second order was the L/XL, and they do fit like I would expect a large waist jockstrap to fit. Guys on the XL spectrum, you will probably have problems with these jockstraps running too small.

If you like a bit of fun in your underwear drawer, get you some Meat! Whether your lean or a bit more marbled, these will definitely be a fun conversation piece. Life is meant to be fun, so go for it!

Ratings

Pros:

  • Soft and comfortable fabric
  • Eye-catching design elements

Cons:

  • Limited stretch pouch

4Hunks has pretty much is out of the park with their Thunder Jock. While it has all of the basic jock elements, it takes it to another level with so many of the design elements and fabric.

Let’s start with the fabric because it is the first thing you notice when you touch this jock and put it on. The cotton is smooth and silky feeling, it’s a delight to feel against your package. Unlike the traditional jockstrap, there is no wide waistband here, it is minimal and comfortable.

Now let’s look at the styling details. A layer of mesh runs throughout this jock with a pop of colorful cotton fabric underneath. I received the yellow, but red is also an option. I appreciate that 4Hunks knows its audience and embraces some fetish abbreviations for their color options…WS for yellow and FF for red. The ass straps have the primary jock color (yellow or red) with a solid black trim.

So what don’t I like about this jock? Honestly, the only negative was the room (or lack of) in the pouch. I would have liked to see more stretch in the pouch, something that would show the bulge off a just a bit more. This is a fairly common occurrence for me with jocks so if you don’t typically have that issue; this is a great jock you should try.

REVIEW – FITNESS JOCKSTRAP by CHARLIE by MZ
by the Jockstrap Junkie

Rating: 9.8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

Daily Fit: 10/10
Sizing: 10/10
Construction: 10/10
Styling: 10/10
Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: Silky smooth finish, the pouch is form fitting but has ample stretch, simple color scheme

Cons: Overpriced, double lined pouch doesn’t let jewels breathe well, website claims made in Italy but jockstrap tag shows the country of manufacture to be Bosnia Erzegovina (minor factoid; however, if you’re going to taut something on the website, make sure it’s accurate)

Recommendation: No regrets on this purchase, although the pocketbook squealed a bit. The Charlie Fitness Microfiber Jockstrap is a jock that will be worn regularly from my collection and has a great fit and feel. If you have the extra cash, splurge.

One of the things I’m changing up in my underwear drawer is to try some new brands in 2019. Charlie by MZ is a brand that I”m brand new to and thought Charlie would be a brand to start broadening my underwear horizons. I purchased the Fitness Jockstrap Black Microfiber, and was a bit anxious about the purchase as $38 is the most I’ve ever paid for a jockstrap but also really wanting to try something new.

To give the Charlie jockstrap a proper review, I did put this jockstrap into the weekly rotation for the past eight weeks. The Charlie jockstrap experienced sleep, cardio, lifting, daily wear, and just lounging around. Microfiber/Spandex construction has a fantastic feel as it’s very smooth and the pouch has a nice snug feel, but the spandex gives some nice stretch when necessary. Double layered microfiber pouches don’t breathe well, which is why I don’t recommend wearing it for cardio; unless, you want the jewels to be soggy from sweat. However, I did like this jock for lifting, making sure it was worn on at least one leg day. One of the nice attributes to the microfiber pouch is that the jewels don’t flop around, but don’t feel constrained either.

As mentioned before, this Charlie jockstrap has a double lined, center seam, microfiber pouch with a composition of 90% nylon and 10% spandex. The waistband is 1-5/8” wide, and the leg straps are 3/4” wide. The leg straps and waistband don’t roll, which is always a positive and the leg straps don’t dig into your ass. I would classify this as a traditional cut where the leg straps on the side of the hips. The construction is excellent, and I put it on par with C-IN2, aussieBum, and Pump.

I purchased a Large which corresponds accurately in Charlie’s size chart, and it fits perfect. Since this is my first Charlie purchase, I don’t have any basis for consistency in their sizing like I do in other brands. Over the two months of wear, no stretching or deforming, and that’s a positive.

Although I rated the Charlie jockstrap with a 9.8 rating, I’m mixed on a full recommendation for this jockstrap. Purely on the quality aspects, it performs as advertised; however, the price is too high when compared to other brands. So, if you have $38 to spend, by all means, get the Charlie by MZ Microfiber Jockstrap; if your budget doesn’t allow for the splurge, catch some sales of several of the other mainline brands, and you’ll be equally satisfied.

PAIR: Charlie by MZ Fitness Microfiber Jockstrap
COLORS: dark grey, grey, black, and white. Each main color has some different waistband/legstrap contrast options including black or white
FABRIC: 90% nylon; 10% spandex
SIZES: Extra Small thru Extra Large; 28” – 35”
COST: $38

REVIEWER STATS
Height & Weight: 5’9” (175 cm) – 195 lbs. (88.5 kg)
Jean Waist Size: 33”-34” (83 cm – 86 cm)
Build: Athletic, squats are an addiction, abs are hibernating
Jewels: Enough to polish, not enough to brag

Rating: 10/10

  • Daily Fit: 10/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Pouch lift, athletic styling, colors

Cons: Not a problem for me, but well endowed guys will find the pouch is a bit small and may have a challenging stuffing the sausage & meatballs in them; also, with a double lined cotton pouch, you will have sweaty balls after a workout.

Recommendation: the aussieBum WonderJock Pro (WJ Pro) is a great add to anyone’s collection for price, style, fit, and function. It says a lot when I ‘the Jockstrap Junkie’ goes back for repeat purchase instead of just moving on to the next brand/style. Hopefully, aussieBum never retires the WJ Pro!

I purchased my first WJ Pro in February of 2016 and still wear them today. The elastic is finally wearing out on the legstraps, so I just bought a coupler more of the WJ Pro to replenish. I’ve been an aussieBum customer for several years and have thoroughly enjoyed aussieBum’s products with only a few misses (I’ll review the Tonka Jockstrap another time). To say I have a history with aussieBum is an understatement as my collection includes aussieBum’s WJ Air, Lasher, Flashr, Samurai, Enlarge It, and Hunk jockstraps. I was a bit skeptical on the enhancement feature; however it’s proven to be a functional asset for me.

Because I’ve been wearing the WJ Pro for several years, I’ve had the opportunity to wear these jockstraps for sleeping, daily wear, lifting, throwing, cardio, and lounging around. The aussieBum WJ Pro is a great all around jockstrap. One of the great benefits of the ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology’ is when I’m on the rowing machine as it keeps the sausage & meatballs out of the way of my thighs. Nobody likes flattened meatballs, or they would have ordered a hamburger.

A composition of 90% cotton and 10% spandex make the WJ Pro. The waistband has a nice width of 1-1/2” and the legstraps have a width of 1-1/4”. The legstraps attach to the waistband in the traditional positions and I would consider this to be a low rise on the hips and front. The pouch’s ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology’ & ‘Free Swing Boost’ make for an interesting fit as everything is contained snugly, but also pronounced out front. For those not familiar with ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology, it’s simply a fabric gusset going horizontally in the interior of the pouch where one places his sausage & meatballs over the gusset into the pouch for a lifting effect. The construction quality is also top notch with the pouch being double stitched and the center seam in the pouch is smooth.

Large is the size I purchased and is the norm for me in aussieBum jockstraps which I find their size chart runs on point for their jockstraps. Other styles in aussieBum I switch it up between large and extra-large and that’s due to thigh size, not waist.

aussieBum is a staple in my jockstrap drawer and I highly recommend trying out aussieBum, especially their WJ Pro jockstraps. The WJ Pro and its cousin the WJ Air are worth the add to your collection. They’re fun, stylish, but still have that athletic look & feel. Plus, they make my sausage look a little plumper!

  • Daily Fit: 3/10
  • Sizing: 7/10
  • Construction: 9/10 (I’m rating this on quality of construction, not fit)
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 3/10

Pros: Styling is sharp and clean, legstraps fit well, visually appealing

Cons: THE POUCH IS TOO EFFING SMALL!!

Recommendation: I was disappointed in the purchase, I don’t recommend purchasing this jockstrap.

I purchased three jocks from 10SevenUnderwear.com which were the three color options offered, the black, yellow, and green. One of the main reasons for my purchase was the appearance. The color scheme has an athletic look to them, which is a feature I like in jockstraps and underwear in general. Not very many jocks offer wide legstraps, so I was wanting to try something a little different. This was my only purchase from 10Seven, and it was my first introduction to their underwear. Because of the appearance and styling of these jockstraps, I was really excited when they arrived; however my opinion changed after wearing and I will go into detail a bit later in this review.

My initiation of these jocks were the usual functions: lifting, errands, work, daily wear, even cardio. I probably gave each jock a half dozen tries as I really wanted to like them, however, the pouch never gave in and the sausage & meatballs felt more like minced meat. My theory on keeping at it was to see if the pouch would eventually give a bit, but no dice. Waistband and legstraps performed very well.

10Seven Sport Jocks have a material composition containing 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex. Waistband is 2” wide and legstraps are 1-1/8”. Cut is a traditional cut with the legstraps connecting to the waistband at the side of the hips. From a structural perspective, these jockstraps are built really well. I like the legstraps as they didn’t fold or twist, the waistband fit well and didn’t roll. Even the pouch construction is good, just NO EFFING ROOM FOR THE SAUSAGE & MEATBALLS!!. My goal is not be become a countertenor.

All three jocks were a size large (L) and unfortunately, the 10Seven website doesn’t have a size chart readily available. I usually wear a 33” waist in jeans, so I went with the norm of Large. This was a good guess in terms of the waistband sizing. Currently, the 10Seven website has a disclaimer for the ‘Sport Jock’ reading “PLEASE NOTE: THE SPORT JOCK RUNS A SIZE SMALL. PLEASE BE SURE TO ORDER A SIZE LARGER THAN YOU WOULD NORMALLY WEAR TO ENSURE COMFORT.“ So, if you do purchase from 10Seven, keep the disclaimer in mind. Again, I struggled and didn’t find a sizing chart.

Now for the heartbreak, I gave up on the 10Seven jockstraps and threw them out. I REALLY wanted to like these jockstraps; however, I’m not willing to sacrifice the sausage & meatballs for fashion. Ironically, the 10Seven brand is supposedly designed by Rocco Steele, a porn star with an advertised endowment of 10” long x 7” girth. Makes me wonder how Rocco keeps everything contained. Sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose; in this instance I lost.

Rating: 9.6/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 10/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Legstraps don’t fold or twist, waistband doesn’t roll, the pouch is supportive and roomy, color scheme

Cons: Runs a bit small, I’m convinced most clothing designers use tape measures that are calibrated differently.

Recommendation: I made three separate purchases in 2018 that included the C-Theory jockstrap in different colors. After my first two in June, I added a few more. By making repeat purchases, definitely makes this jock hard to not recommend, so…get it!

I’ve worn C-IN2 underwear since C-IN2’s debut in 2005 and worn a lot of different styles from them. Mostly, I’ve been a satisfied customer of C-IN2; which, is why I have kept returning to the brand. Over the years, there have been a handful of styles that didn’t work well for me, but this goes to the factor of C-IN2 cannot make every style for every body type. Now, let’s get to the good part, the review. The best way to describe the styling of the C-Theory jockstrap is taking old Bike jockstrap and upgrading it to 2019 styling. The waistband has a nice, blocked color scheme with a bold, contrasting stripe at the bottom of the waistband and the C-IN2 logo reverse printing into the stripe. If you like a large logo on the waistband, C-IN2 didn’t disappoint as the logo takes up almost the entire 2-½” height of the waistband and the logo is centered on the front & not repeated. Of the 16 color combinations offered, I purchased five of them and C-IN2 didn’t fail me on these jockstraps.

I purchased my first two in June of 2018. Immediately, the C-Theory jockstraps made it into my rotation of underwear with a C-Theory jock getting worn at least once a week. These are a great all-around jocks for everyday wear including routine tasks of mowing the lawn, lifting weights, cardio, and even lounging around. As stated above, the waistbands don’t roll, which is good for those of us with the ever popular ‘dad bod’. Great feel as the pouch has just enough support but also roomy for the boys. Another benefit of the single-ply pouch is breathability, in which I tested several times over the summer doing yard work in the humid Great Lakes region.

The cut of the C-Theory jock is similar to the old Bike No. 10 jockstrap with a 2-½” waistband and ¾” leg straps that attach at the side of the hips. Pouch material is 97% cotton & 3% Spandex, features a knitted, single layer with a center seam. Stitching is well done and smooth where the leg straps attach to the waistband, and the leg strap seams don’t dig into your hips like some jockstraps with lesser quality legs straps do. One requirement I have in a jockstrap is that the leg straps don’t cut into my glutes, which the C-Theory jock did not.

Large is the size I purchased which fits well. I normally wear a 33”-34” in my jeans which I like to sit on my hips to give you a general sizing perspective. With C-IN2’s sizing, if you’re in doubt, purchase a size larger as I feel C-IN2 runs a hair small.

If you’re a fan of the old Bike jockstraps, I think you’ll be a fan of the C-IN2 C-Theory Jock as the styling is a nice update to an old classic. I’m glad I added these five jocks to my collection and will be a good addition to yours.

We have a very special review by the Jockstrap Junkie. This is a review he submitte for the PUMP! White Free-Fit Jockstrap.

Rating: 10/10

Daily Fit: 10/10

Sizing: 10/10

Construction: 10/10

Styling: 10/10

Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Colors and styling, pouch support, legstraps fit

Cons: Double layer pouch for cardio

Recommendation: Definitely one of the jockstraps I’m wearing on a regular basis. Great support for your bits & pieces and holds shape all day. If you like jockstraps, the Pump Free-Fit series of jockstraps is worth the addition to your underwear drawer.

Pump’s White Free-Fit Jockstrap is one of many Pump jockstraps that I own. I’ve had good experiences with Pump jockstraps over the years and appreciate their styling. Over the years, I’ve found that Pump’s sizing is getting more accurate and consistent with their jockstraps. I return to Pump as their quality is top notch as I’ve had some issues with other brands’ legstraps coming unattached due to poor workmanship.

This jockstrap got a full day’s wearing which included Pilates, errands, chores around the house, and a nap. No issues with the jockstrap not holding form thru the entire day and the legstraps didn’t dig into my butt and remained comfortable all day. I wouldn’t recommend this jockstrap for cardio days due to the double layered pouch not having a lot of ventilation; however, I’ve worn it while lifting and this jock performs very well for lifting.

Color scheme is a white pouch with contrasting black piping, black legstraps, and 1-1/2” waistband with contrasting white stripes and logo on a black background. Pouch has center seam, a double layer which is cotton lined with a mesh outer layer. There is room in the pouch and the pouch has great support for your bits & pieces. Legstraps are 1” black elastic and don’t cut into my legs. The cut of this jockstrap is traditional with legstraps connecting at the side.

I purchased a large which fit perfectly, which is consistent with the several Pump jockstraps I own. On jockstraps, their sizing is accurate; however, I have a pair of Pump briefs that the sizing runs small.

Aside from the lack of ventilation during cardio, this is a great jock. The Free-Fit Jock is in my regular rotation of jockstraps as is performs beautifully. You won’t be disappointed in having this jock in your collection.

UNB bought the Ergowear Max Mesh Jock for review, it was not furnished for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by any brand. .

Rating: 10/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 10/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros:

  • The max pouch is amazing in support and fit
  • The mesh fabric felt great all day and kept me cool
  • One of the most amazing fits in a pair of underwear and in the all time top 3 jocks I have ever worn

Cons:

  • Not for you if you don’t love jocks
  • Leg Straps can roll when putting on like with most jocks.
  • May enhance your bulge, which could be good or bad depending on where you wear

UNB Tim recommendation: If you love jocks this is a MUST have for your drawer. It’s especially true if you love to wear them during strenuous activities and have something fashionable. Even if you don’t it’s perfect for everyday wear in hot climates or anywhere! I think every guy should own one. This is an amazing pair!!!

It’s no secret that Ergowear is one of my favorite brands. Their pouches are some of the best on the market. My personal favorites are the X3D and Max because I love the way they fit. The Feel pouch is a bit loose for my taste. Ergowear released the Max Mesh line and I knew I had to have some. This review is the jock but I also go the long boxer brief (yes I got a boxer brief).

I wore these to work on a hot day. It’s fall here in ATL but it’s still 80-90 degree days. When I slid this pair on, I was like “WOW, I am loving this fit.” The pouch was just what I love. It was tight and held everything in place. Mix that with the mesh fabric that kept me cool all day and WOW. As I went through the day I would constantly go “I can’t believe how great this pair feels all day.” I don’t know if it gave me bulge and extra boost or not but I didn’t care as well as this pair fit.

The mesh fabric is the star of this pair. It will keep you cool throughout the day. It’s perfect for working out and being active. Or, if you’re like me in a hotter climate it’s a great every day pair. The Ergowear site says “you’ll feel fully-supported and dry all day long” and this is 100% true. If you’re curious, the fabric is 89% Polyester, 11% Spandex mesh fabric

I would say that Ergowear has one of the best size charts in the business. If you follow it you’ll be fine. Their sizing is pretty consistent over the last few years. Before you buy any underwear check the sizing. I got an Xl and it fit really well. I can’t recall any times when I heard of sizing issues. So once you buy you should feel confident in buying in the future.

This jock is in the top 3 of my favorite jocs, EASY. The fit and feel impressed me big time. I couldn’t get over how well the pouch felt all day. The breathability of the fabric and the color. I got the Blue! This is perfect for any active guy but hell any guy that loves jocks. This is getting the rare 10 out of 10 from me. I am going to buy the whole line and can’t wait to review the Max Mesh boxer briefs now!! I HIGHLY recommend this piar

4-Hunks furnished the Bomber Jock for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by 4-Hunks.

Rating: 9/10

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 9/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros:

  • Mix of fetish and sports gear
  • Has an innovative pouch with no center seam
  • Sports mesh material keeps you cooler

Cons:

  • The mesh material can rub you the wrong way
  • May not be a jock for the gym

UNB Tim recommendation: I love the designs of 4 Hunks. I personally love fetishwear and athletic gear. They mix the both of these things in one. This jock is a perfect mix of both. It’s sexy and fun. It can be worn more than just in the fetish world. If you want a fun jock you need to check it out!

I was looking forward to this jock for a while. I love the design of this jock. It’s a mix of athletic and fetish in one. Well, that’s my take! The mesh front makes it perfect for working out and the back design definitely has a fetish inspiration to me. After reviewing the Load Brief, I was curious about this pair.

One thing I wasn’t sure in the picture was the material of the pouch. I wasn’t sure it was all mesh or the center panel was mesh. Well, I can say it’s all mesh but the side panels have more material. The center has no pouch. Those who hate center seams on pouches rejoice, this one was purposefully made without one.

I wore this to work when I knew there would be a lot of physical activity. I wanted to sorta put it through its paces. The pouch occasional rubbed me the wrong way. But, that’s this material and how it reacts to me at times. It just takes a little adjustment and it’s back to feeling good. I’m not sure I would wear this to work out. It would def draw looks in the locker room!

The fabric for this pair was very similar to the Load Brief. It was well made and actually kept me cool all day. Fabric composition of the pair isn’t listed on the site, well that I could find. The front is a sports mesh type material. The pouch has a full frontal bulge pouch. This pouch will give you ample support throughout the day.

The sizing is something you need to look at the sizing charts. This pair fits me pretty well. I had no complaints. It’s always important to look at the sizing chart. 4 Hunks has one that doesn’t go to full sizes. It’s VERY important to check it out. The XL I got fit pretty well.

I really loved this pair. The mix of athletic and fetish makes it super sexy. You can pair this with one of their harnesses and go full on fetish. Or you can rock it under a pair of jeans or even a suit. It’s up to you to wear to the gym! If you’re a guy who doesn’t want to draw attention to yourself, don’t wear it. If you don’t mind the attention, well then rock on!

Cocksox furnished the CX21MT Jockstrap for review.

Rating: 9.6/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros:

  • Awesome metallic waistband
  • Superior fabric and construction
  • Amazing pouch that gives the best support

Cons:

  • Waistband rolled on me a few times but I didn’t really notice
  • Non-waistband fans may not like the Metallic

UNB Tim recommendation: LOVED this pair. I had a few slight issues but none that detracted from my experience. The waistband and fit were two things I loved the most. I wore this to a 5K Walk/Run and it was the perfect pair to wear! It proves that you can wear a Cocksox Jock for more than just fashion!

A few months ago I wrote the post that this jock by Cocksox was my favorite jock. Now with the update for the Lustrous Elements Collection, I was excited to try this again. The metallic waistband is something I LOVE! This time i was putting this to the test via a 5K walk/run! Would this still be my favorite jock? Time would tell.

As I mentioned above, this pair was worn for something active. I had a 5K walk/run to attend and figured why not wear the jock! Most of the day I wore them to work. At work, they really weren’t tested. After work, it was on. I’m getting back in shape and was talked into the walk. The support was perfect for the event. I barely noticed I was wearing underwear, which is a good thing. I did have some issues with the waistband rolling some. I don’t know if this was because of the metallic band. Because my other one doesn’t do this. Regardless I didn’t notice it through out the activity.

This pair is made with the amazing fabric that Cocksox is known for! 92% Supplex® 8% Lycra® blend always feels awesome. It’s super soft and fits like a glove. The pouch is in my top 5 pouches of all time. It does show everything off, I mean everything! It enhances what you have and make it look amazing. Luckily under the shorts, I wore it wasn’t too bad. Cocksox has consistently had some of the best construction over the years and this pair lives up to it.

Sizing for Cocksox has been consistent over the years. Before I would tell guys to go up a size but now it’s pretty spot on. Just follow the size chart and you won’t have an issue. I received an XL pair that fit pretty well. The waistband didn’t restrict. I hope I won’t be in that size much longer!

Overall this pair was awesome. The few issues I had were not noticeable. The pair held up to my wear and work out very well. I love the look and fit of the pair. The construction and fabric are always top notch. I highly recommend this pair.

Todd Sanfield provided me with these undies to review. I love a good jock, and not one that is just sexy, but one that truly fits and is comfortable to wear. Seems like a simple request, but I have reviewed many jocks and that is not always the case. However, the Todd Sanfield Essentials Collection Jockstrap is the best jockstrap that I have in my underwear drawer right now.

Rating: 10/10

  • Daily Fit: 10/10
  •  Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Comfortable straps and waistband, roomy pouch and Classy design and colors

Cons: I don’t really have any… I wish I had this jock in every color!

UNB John’s recommendation:

I am a huge jockstrap fan. If you looked at my underwear drawer, it is probably the style that I have the most of; however, it is hard to find one that is sexy and yet comfortable enough to wear all day and for all different types of occasions. When I first looked at this jock, the detailing again caught my eye. The straps are flexible and soft to the touch, the subtle logo on the leg straps and waistband create this elegant look and styling. Many times jocks that are comfortable are boring and the jocks that are fun sexy are just plain uncomfortable. Todd Sanfield has done an amazing job at creating a jock that is both functional and sexy!

The first time I wore this jock I could tell this was something different from any other jock that I had tried on before. It was soft and stretchy, but held its shape. The leg straps are soft and I never got that feeling that they were digging into my butt checks or back of my thighs. The pouch fit perfect and did an awesome job of supporting and enhancing my package.

Much like the briefs, these have moved to the top of the pile when it comes to jockstraps in my underwear drawer. The simple sexy look to the detailing and the fact that I can not only wear these all day, but would also be great for the gym or being active.

Final Thoughts:

Whether you are looking for your first jockstrap to try or if you are a seasoned jockstrap expert, you will not be disappointed with this purchase. The minimalistic design and the superior fit will be enough for you to want wear this jock all the time… even to bed!

cx21n-emperor_red-1Cocksox furnished the CX21N Jock for review. This is my second jock I will be reviewing from Cocksox

Rating: 9/10

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 9/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: Great pouch, amazing fabric, great design

Cons: May not be the best for sports, some may not like the leg straps

UNB Tim recommendation: A good jock for everyday wear. You could wear for sports but it’s more of a fashion jock. The pouch is amazing great for guys who need the extra room in the front. I liked the leg straps, they are smaller than traditional jocks.

I have said it before but I love Cocksox. Their underwear just fits me like a glove and feels amazing. The pouch is very high on my favorites list. So, when I get a chance to review new Cocksox, I am so excited to do so. I have a Cocksox Jock in my collection. It has bee one of my favorite jocks to wear. When I got this new one I was excited.

I knew I needed to put this through a test. The other jock I have fits great and I know what it can handle. This one I wore to work and a day I had to move some stuff. While I was doing my work and errands, the pair really felt amazing. The pouch doesn’t fit as great as the CXO1. This is due to the design, the leg straps don’t provide the same stability as the brief. However, it still has a great pouch, you can’t go wrong with a Cocksox pouch.

Two things that they do well with are construction and fabric. Over the last 10 year’s they have perfected the formula for amazing fitting underwear in the most awesome fabric. They get two thumbs way up! As for sizing, as long as you follow the sizing guide there should be no issues. Their sizing has been pretty standard over the last several years.

All in all, this is a great jock. It’s a great design with smaller leg straps than other jocks. This is a bonus for me but many may not like them. I would suggest for every day wear over sports. However, you could easily wear it to the gym.

The Sukrew Full Jockstrap was furnished by Sukrew for review.

Rating: 9.4/10

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: Great design, Ergonomic pouch design, designed to make you feel sexy

Cons: Not many may wear it to the gym, I had issues getting it on but its user error.

Recommendation: If you’re looking for a super sexy jock. Any jock from Sukrew is for you. The design is made to make you feel sexy. I’m not sure guys will be wearing this to the gym. It’s more of a date night or play night pair. I think fashion jocks are taking the jock to the next level.

Let’s face it jocks really aren’t designed for working out anymore. They are more fashion than function. This is a good thing because there is so much more that can be done with jocks. One company taking their own spin on the jock is Sukrew. I was looking forward to wearing the jock. I have tried a few pairs of Sukrew and the pouch is always amazing.

Before I delve into the review. Let me say for jocks with straps that attach to the pouch like these. I always have issues with. Is it design? Nope, it’s more user error. When I slid these on they felt a bit funky. I messed up the straps (see above) and the pouch felt funny. After a few seconds of adjustment, I got situated. The pouch that I knew from the other pairs became apparent. I really liked the fit and feel.

I wore these to my part time job that is a little more active than running UNB. The support they gave were great. My one annoyance is the waistband kept ridding up a little in the back. I think this was because I had to bend over a lot that day. The pouch feels great. Sukrew has their own design that if it’s not ergonomic it’s pretty darn close.

The design is pretty cool. I have to finally learn to put these on. I don’t have too many jocks like this and I think I can just slide it on like a regular jock. You have to adjust the straps so the fit just right. After 2-3 minutes of me cussing and fidgeting. It’s set up as it should be. The color of the style is black with red. I love how they have the red on the side of the pouch. Sukrew has a really great design philosophy. The design philosophy for this jock is “Designed with an elastic ‘X’ over the pelvis this jock is intended to give a sexual focal point to the garment.” If you don’t feel sexy in this, well you’re not wearing it right!

The sizing is really great with Sukrew. I got an XL and it fit me pretty darn good. It’s been my experience that they are consistent with sizing. You won’t have to worry about sizing from different styles and lines. Everyone I had fit me pretty well.

Pros:

  • Classic color scheme
  • Soft and comfortable material
  • Great pouch

Cons:

  • Some may not like the BLOW on the waistband
  • The pouch is supportive but not ergonomically designed. Looser fit
  • More of a fashion jock

UNB Tim’s Recommendation: It’s a great jock for running errands or a day at work. I am not sure I would wear it to the gym or active. I could see it under a suit or a night out. The fabric will be something I think most guys will love. This will be a pair I plan to wear often.

One of the pairs we received from Andrew Christian is the BLOW Gilded Jock. It is one I really wanted to try. I really liked the look of the jock and the fabric. The previous review of the FUKR Net Brief, I hoped it lived up to or even exceeded that review.

The jock didn’t disappoint. It was probably one of the most comfortable pairs I have tried from Andrew Christian. The pouch is made out of 95% Cotton 5% Spandex blend. It was super soft. It really felt awesome on. The pouch was supportive and not too tight. A lot of sports jocks can be super tight. This one let things fall naturally and comfortably.

I wore the BLOW Gilded Jock on a very hot day. In Atlanta, we were blessed with 90-degree weather in September. This was a great choice for the day. I wore it to a job where I was outside and in the car a lot. The jocks material and design kept me cool. I was really happy about that. One design element I really like is the strap design. It’s not a strap sewn onto the waistband. The design has a solid fabric sewn into the waistband. Then the leg straps attached. This kept the straps in place.

The sizing is pretty spot on. Again, I never had an issue with Andrew Christian sizing. They have had a consist ant sizing over the years. Just make sure you double check the size guide for the exact sizes. The XL I received fit pretty well.

Lastly, is the design. I really like the solid black with gold trim. The center seam is gold as well as the waistband BLOW writing. Black and Gold is a classic combination. It also comes in white and red.

Pros: Unique straps, cool waistband, great looking/comfy pouch

Cons: Straps could take some getting used too.

Beau Briefs recommendation: Yep, this is a good one to have!

When in Rome…you’re supposed to do something, I can’t quite remember. But when you’re in Sparta you slay! And it’s safe to say you’ll slay em in this jockstrap. I won’t lie, I was a bit skeptical about the cut. The straps are shaped a bit differently than I’m used to. The area that joins the straps to the waistband was a bit more triangular and I just wasn’t sure.

Well, I am now. It’s great! It’s a fun difference that helps set this pair apart from other jockstraps. Plus the additional fabric gives the colors more time to pop and contrast. It’s unique and in our world of modern day underwear. It can sometimes be difficult to be unique while not sacrificing functionality, wearability, or comfort. So kudos, N2N!

I am a big fan of the color combo that I got. I tried on (and am wearing as I write this) the dark gray and orange option. The orange piping is fun and the piping itself is strong and supportive. The other combos look like a lot of fun too, especially the mint.

Now this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone but the pouch is very comfortable. I really enjoy N2N’s pouches like this. They are full enough to hold everything and kind of cradle everything in a way that is also very flattering. Sometimes when underwear is very flattening in the basket area the term “bulge” isn’t very accurate. But with N2N’s attention to the attraction these pouches are well deserving of the bulge moniker.

The waistband is awesome.

I remember back in elementary school learning about the Greek key and it is incorporated in a fun way with the N2N brand here. It’s eye-catching yet simple, like the original. The band size itself is also a good width, not overly large and not too small to be unable to do its job. Thumbs up Sparta!

So if you are looking for a new jockstrap to add to the collection this should definitely be on your list.

Pros: Great Junk X Pouch, Cool design, fun colors available

Cons: Waistband rolled on me during wear

UNB Tim recommendation: I liked the design of the jock and the pouch made this a good jock. The pair did roll on me I’m not sure if it was the design or just an issue I had. It is a great jock I would recommend.

I have a whole series of Junk X to review. I have already posted the Junk X Brief review. I was looking forward to the jock. productview2-343The first is because of the pouch. The second reason is I really enjoyed the brief. One thing that has impressed me with Junk UnderJeans is the quality. They make very well made underwear.

The design of the jock is a bit different than I am used too. It has the straps attached right above the pouch. Rather than on the side, like other jocks. When I slid on the pair on it took me a minute to get it situated. After it was in place, I liked the fit. The pouch of the Junk X line is a really good pouch. It’s a bit bigger than the traditional pouches Junk UnderJeans makes. It fit pretty well through out the day.

I wore this pair to work one day. I felt that a job where I had to be on the go would be perfect for a jock. I wore it and it held up pretty well. I haven’t worn many jocks to my job. After wearing this one it’s making me double think that decision. The only thing that happened with the jock was the waistband kept rolling. Pleep didn’t have this problem with his jock from Junk UnderJeans. I don’t know if its the way I am built or what was going on. I didn’t notice it till later in the day. It wasn’t uncomfortable, sometimes when waistbands roll they get twisted and uncomfortable. This didn’t bother me at all.

The sizing with Junk UnderJeans is pretty spot on. They have standard sizes. The X-Large I received fit pretty well. I don’t think you will have many sizing issues on Junk UnderJeans. Just follow the sizing guide and you should have no issues.
