Who influences your underwear buying? It’s always interesting to see who or what influences your underwear buying. This year here are the choices on the survey.

  1. The top way you guys get influenced is by Brand emails.
  2. News write-ups are the second most popular way you guys get influenced to buy.
  3. Is your significant other is the third popular way.
  4. Last is the least influencer is friends. This one shocked me!

I think next year we are going to make this an open ended question. These aren’t the best ones to judge what influences your decision making process. None of these are of the “a lot” category.

One thing for sure we know is that we influence your buying decisions. I love sharing new brands with you guys. Some of them I find on social media and other brands email us. One brand that is amazing, that we pointed out to you guys is SkinFit. They make amazing spandex gear.

I can guarantee that we will always try to bring you new brands and also bring you reviews on pairs you want to try. You can always email us what you want to see on the site.

More to come soon!

We all love undies but there are some things that drive us all crazy! There are issues that can take a great pair of undies and ruin the experience. So what are those things that ruin a pair?

  1. Sizing Issues – This is always high on the list. Every brand has it’s own sizing. This depends on where the brand is located. The US is where most people who read UNB are located and we have the “standard” sizing where medium is a 32 waist. In places like Brazil, Columbia, and Japan will run small.
  2. Labels or Tags – This one comes and goes from the list. This year it’s in second place. I have had several pairs that are perfect except for the tag. Nothing ruins a pair like an itchy or scratchy tag.
  3. Pouch too Small – If you are a guy with this problem, the struggle is real. I have tried several brands that come as a disappointment. You fall out or get squished. If you have this issue you ca also pick up a pair and go “Um no way.” Pouches are supper important to most guys!
  4. Riding up – I don’t think we cover many brands with this issue. I rarely have an issue of review pairs riding up. It’s usually bargain brands that have this issue or boxer briefs. But when I have had this issue I’d rather go commando than wear bad undies.
  5. Pricing – Underwear can be expensive. I know we all have brands we pay full price for no matter what they sell. But, when trying a new brand or style, we wan’t to get the best deal. But, remember quality doesn’t always come cheap.

Here are the top five things that drive you guys crazy this past year in undies. We will have a lot more with the results!

CorpJock’s mission is often to showcase athletes in a setting reminiscent of Days Gone By. So his offering for this Throwback Thursday is the Posing Strap, not seen much in today’s 21st Century, but which was a mainstay in the muscleman magazine of yesteryear.

In their heyday, these magazines served as a supplement to hardcore gay porn and inspired countless fantasies for men who often had to keep their desires in the closet.

CorpJock worked with this present day bodybuilder and introduced him to this pink posing strap. It’s a treat to see this gorgeous mechanic strip down and fill the pouch of this lycra strap. He was a little unsure at first, but one he got used to the feel of the nylon pouch, he was more than comfortable with presenting himself in the tiny garment from the past.

So what do you guys love to wear? Is it thongs? Bikinis? Briefs? Trunks? Well, we have the results on what you guys love to wear on a daily basis and overall. We all have our favorites but we seem to branch out to other styles.

The top three are as follows:

  • Brief
  • Thong
  • Bikini

These should come as no suprrise to most readers. Briefs/bikinis have been favorites of most readers of the blog. WHile the general public was still stuck on Boxer briefs, we had moved back to the brief and even more are embracing the bikini.

Over the last few years, the growth of the thong has been incredible. It came out of the blue and has remained strong. In fact most of the straight reader preer them over all other pairs. Well, the ones we had here at UNB and some of the ones I talk to on a reg basis.

When we break down the numbers of what you guys love to wear. The thong has the highest “never wear.’ It’s an acquired taste. The biggest often and always wear are the brief and bikini. The big spike in the middle of jocks, that peope sometimes wear them is pretty aewsome.

This shows we that guys wear many different pairs and not just one thing. Tune in tomorrow to see what are the pros and cons of underwear!

Bodysuits are one of the biggest trends in men’s wear. One company that is making a big splash with body suits is BodyAware. The newest is the BodyAware Whisper Body Suit.

Here is what they say about the suit:

This whisper-soft mesh bodysuit features a v-neckline for a strong and flattering profile. Perfectly unique and designed for men to wear under any clothes since the mesh feels so fantastic against the skin and regulates your body temperature. This superb bodysuit has a structured, double layer of mesh in the pouch area for comfort and shape. Convenient snap-opening between the legs and an athletic-styled back.

Check out this and all the other Bodysuits!

Color is one of the major factors in choosing underwear. I know for myself, there are several colors I prefer and a few that I will never buy. For each guy these colors are different. It depends on our preference of color, what colors look good on us, and how it makes us feel wearing the color.

This is kind of a goofy chart. It includes all the write in answers. You can take a look at those I’m going to focus on the top colors. The top colors by far are blue, black, and red. Two of them are very classic colors in undies. I’m surprised that pink is not higher on the list. It’s always a popular color.

This result may seem like most guys prefer solids over everything. However, in this category guys could choose any or all the answers. It was what color do you prefer your underwear to be? Over a third love prints, which have grown in popularity in the last few years.

If you have something to add, comment on this post. There is more to come tomorrow. !

Back in May we ran the annual reader survey. This was our best turn out ever from a survey. Over the next week or so we’ll break down the results for you guys! It’s always fun to peek in to the undies drawers of others!

It should come as no surprise that the majority of guys who read UNB are Mediums and Larges. The most are mediums. But there are almost equal small and XL. Which is good. Guys on both ends of the spectrum have issues with sizing and their own problems with undies (I’m on the larger end and I know)

You guys have some great collections. Most of you have 21-70 pairs. Which is a good sized underwear collection. Only a few have over 150 pairs (I fall in that number). I have to double check previous results but I think this is slightly higher than in the past.

Now this number surprises me every time we run it. Almost 50% of you guys buy undies ever few months. Where as 33% buy monthly. I always think that guys buy more undies than monthly. But, undies are expensive and I know it dependson the wallet and a good sale.

There are the first results. We have a lot more coming! Stay tuned.

Bon Voyage inspired in the renewal of the 1960s as a result of the socio-cultural transformation experienced throughout the world, as well as by the idea of change representing constant evolution. ES Collection recreates the code of fashion worn in the 60’s where silhouettes take a more geometrical shape. Longer garments become shorter and waists become broader to emphasize curves. All retro styles are adapted to current needs and lifestyles, giving rise to a retro futurist aesthetic design which draws attention for its contrast and for being the most current revision of the 60s.
