Marco Marco Nautical Goes Nautical

Right now I LOVE flamingos. Many brands are also loving them and putting them on their underwear and swimwear. Marco Marco has taken the flamingo print to the next level with their new Nautical line. I hear many of you go, what’s the big deal? The new print is UV reactive! After a day of showing it off at the pool wear it to the club and show off your Blacklight colors.

The new Nautical comes in a brief, halfmoon brief, and a harness. You can wear the pieces together or separate. The harness can be worn for a night out at the club with jeans, shorts, or the Nautical line undies! They are all just super fun! The briefs, other than the club, can be worn under anything. I would admit I”d love to see a guy in a navy power suit wearing this pair under, and of course with a pink tie.

This line is probably one of my favorites from Marco Marco. Not just the flamingos but the colors. Blue, white and pink all go very well together. The print is very well designed. Let’s talk about the halfmoon brief. It has a halfmoon cut out at the top by the waistband. Then in the back, it has the flamingo fabric up the center of the back!

Its all about undies. Do you wish you could share your undies love with your favorite blog? Well, here is your chance! Just kidding, but we are conducting our Annual reader survey. This helps us in many ways. First, it will help us develop content. Seeing what you guys like and don’t like. It even track them over time, which styles get popular and go out of style. A new addition is fetishwear. It’s something we want to cover more, but want to track you guys like best. We will continue to bring new trends and brands as well.

Next we share some of the data with brands to help them formulate promotions for you guys. We have had promotions in the past that we told the brand it won’t drive traffic. Brief Distraction featuring a Real Guy! jets83

Here is the first of the Real Guys on UNB. jets83  submitted these pics. Here is a little about him.

  • Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
  • Stats: 34 years old.  5’10” 90kg . 36″ waist

I have enjoyed underwear for about 15 years.  Cannot recall what attracted me to try something other than the standard briefs/trunks that were available here in Australia.  I think it could have been seeing something on TV.

For a long time, I hid my underwear from everyone.  Over the past 7 years, I have been more & more comfortable in my choices & not hid them as much.  My partner has allowed me to be even more comfortable in my choice of underwear.

I wear thongs on most days of the weeks, jockstraps come in second.

I wear them as I find them comfortable & are also a way to feel sexy.  A small way to show that I am comfortable in my own skin & the underwear the I wear.

Explore with Gregg Homme Conquistador

What would a Gregg Homme line be without some super fun pairs? By super fun pairs, I mean ones that take underwear and redesign them in a fun way. The Conquistador uses gold buttons and strings to create some pairs that you are used too. However, it’s got the sexiness factor turned up to 11.

I hear some of you saying, yeah the gold buttons are a nice accent. They are more than an accent, they are fully functional. Meaning you can unbutton them where ever they are. This could mean easy to put on or even easier to take off. Match that with the semi-sheer material and you have a super sexy line.

The line comes in a Jock, Thong, Brief and Boxer briefs. The only one missing is the string, but when you see the thong, you could say it’s a string! Each one of the designs given the Gregg Homme Conquistador twist. As you can see in the main pic the three buttons on each side can be removed. The jock, the straps button on the small waistband. The others have very similar design functions.

The only colors in this line are red or black. Which is perfect for the line. The red/black combo is my favorite. The pair just is set off with the black trim. It reminds me of some something ancient Roman or Greecian. A pair you could see an ancient warrior going into battle. Or maybe it’s me projecting the movie 300 in my mind.

Swimwear Sunday – Viva Las Vegas

Las Vegas is one of my favorite cities on the planet. It’s a city that is always on the go and never stays the same. Come back six months after your visit and things are different. One thing that stays the same is the most iconic things in Las Vegas is the Welcome to Las Vegas sign! When you mix Las Vegas and swimwear, I consider it a total win.

A new company to UNB is Medinna. It’s a brand out of Columbia that I discovered on Instagram. I”m telling you, if you love gear and you’re not on Instagram you are missing out! Their designs have always been amazing but when I saw this one, I was blown away. Just like Vegas, this pair is over the top. I mean, the bright colors and prints behind the Las Vegas sign are fully to be expected!

This is a full cut swim brief. Meaning that it’s about 2-3 inches on the side. The back is a fullback and not the “Rio” cut. I mean with this print you don’t need to show off any more skin. A ton of eyes will be on you at the pool/beach. But it you wear this pair you’re not looking to be low key! It’s over the top, bright and just fun!

We can’t always go middle of the road on swimwear. We need to blow it out sometimes. Show you guys something super fun! Swimwear should always be fun and make you feel super sexy. If I wore this on the beach I would hope it would gain attention! If Las Vegas isn’t your town they also have swim briefs for New York, Hollywood and Miami! But be warned they are just as fun as this pair!

It’s the 2018 Reader Survey – Share your Love of Gear

If you are a long time reader of UNB, you know every year we do a reader survey. It’s usually in May but this year we are doing it in July! You maybe asking why are we doing a reader survey?

  1. Helps us make content you guys love reading
  2. Gives us data to show brands the success of our posts
  3. Helps us reach new brands with data and demographics of readers
  4. It gives you guys a look into other readers!

This year we have changed things up a bit. Instead of a long list of questions, we have broken them up to different pages. It’s just as long but the pages/sections will break things up. More questions are click a button rather than fill in a long or detailed response. After three to four years of data, we have the main choices in a lot of categories and you can still write things in the other section.

One thing to note is we are not getting any identifiable information. We are not collecting names, emails or phone numbers. So you can be 100% honest and no one will know who you are! I know many do not want to let the world know they love gear.

One question we are asking is if male or female. Our Google Analytics says that more women are reading the blog so we want to see how many will fill out the survey.

We will be sharing the results. Now that the survey is less interpretation, it will be able to be reported a lot sooner than previous years.

Reckless By Ron SEAMEN UNDERJOCK

When you think of a jock, its always in the traditional design. Reckless by Ron has taken the jock and made something really cool! The Seamen Underjock is a mix of a jock, brief and harness. Well, that’s my take on the pair. The line always has super fun looking bondage pairs. They may not be designed that way but they remind me of super hot fetishwear.

This pair has a brief cut. The pouch is made out of silver prismatic metallic lycra that ties into the leg harnesses. the rest of the brief is a white mesh. So you show off a bit, but this is not a pair you cover up and don’t show anyone. It screams to be seen. If I put this on I would have a specific person and purpose for the pair. It wouldn’t be worn under jeans to work.

The sheer creativity of Reckless By Ron amazes me. Yes, that’s a pun. They are doing something that is a mix of leather/bondage and club. It’s taking what some people call boring, since a lot of times it’s black or dark colors. And then putting bright, metallic and different colors in one.
