Today we run a picture from 2010 and Aware SOHO. Aware SOHO is a brand we covered a lot back in the day. However, they have released a new collection. Check out the new collection.
I know we profile a lot of over the top and bright pairs. I personally still love the classics as well. One new brand that has come on the market is Inizio. It may have a strange name but they have some really great pairs! For you thong fans, you won’t find any here. They focus on boxer briefs and briefs. Well, heavy on the boxer briefs. Also, some longer pairs! So Boxer Brief fans rejoice, we have a post for you!
The color palette is on the conservative side. It consists of white, black, navy and dark greens. Its carried out in both solids and stripes. Everything you would expect from a classic line. Even the waistbands are classic. Most of them have the name in a matching or complementary color. Match that with a tag on the back. That’s all the branding on the pair.
One thing that may surprise you is they have some work out wear. The longer is made for the gym and can be worn alone or with shorts over (but we encourage you to wear them without shorts!). The dark colors are perfect for the gym. I wasn’t expecting that from this line but it’s a pleasant surprise.

This photo does double duty for UNB; one, showing me comfortable in my own skin and two, taking your swim brief challenge. We were on vacation over July 4th in the Outer Banks. I was the only one on the entire beach in a swim brief, but the in-laws didn’t care and I even got some positive comments from passersby. I’m from Denver so any chance to get to a beach, I’m all over it. I’m 48 years old and have loved underwear since my early teens. My tastes have changed with the times and I’m always on the hunt for new styles and colors.

PPU has always been one brand that is always fun. They have never been one to stick to the plain and simple designs. Their designs have been over the top and always on the wild side. I wouldn’t say that they are a “fetish” brand. When I think fetish brand it’s more of the leather community and bondage. Maybe that’s just my own shallow definition. This now enters that world, lace and more. I think they have all fetish levels and likes covered in this.
Many pairs of this collection are 100% see-through mesh or cutouts. We can’t show you the full monty here but you can see it on a few sites. I”m not sure all will cover it. The mesh is black and mixed with harnesses. These pairs would definitely be for a bar night or a fun night out. Or a fun night in where you don’t go out for the weekend.
If that’s not your thing we have some more of the traditional PPU pair with cutouts and pouches that accent your manhood. Also, included in this new line is mesh. If memory serves me correct, and I bet it’s not. They haven’t done much with lace over the years. Not like Candyman and Pikante.

I became interested in sexy underwear over 20 years ago when I saw Covington bikini briefs at Sears one day. I would mainly wear boxers when I knew I would be around females and kept my fetish to myself for a long time. But now after being married for 14 years, it’s wasn’t easy keeping to myself. My wife does not like the underwear I wear but understands and is ok with briefs. She doesn’t like the thongs or jockstraps at all. After being honest with her and explaining why I choose to wear these styles of underwear, she tolerates it. (She thinks that I wear gay underwear) so I continue to wear what I want when I want but also respect that she doesn’t like when I wear them so, I still wear lots of boxers to bed and lounge around the house. Happy wife, happy life right?
I do not do social media and do not ever post pictures of myself in underwear. I will continue to use this platform to do so. I mainly wear briefs to work and change into thongs when I get home. I change out of my construction clothes when I get home every day. Sometimes I wear thongs to work(always with my belt on tight!) Some of my favorite brands are Andrew Christian, Obviously, Pistol Pete, Big Boys Pants, and N2N. I have approximately 75 pairs. I am a Medium in almost all brands and a waistband is a must for me.

Be your own Hot Spot! I initially saw this pair on Instagram but wasn’t sure who it was made by. I saved another pair that I loved of Gabriel Homme, for our Swimwear Sunday and low and behold this was on their page! I had to name this for our official Swimwear Sunday for two reasons. First, it’s just fun with the Hot Spot and wifi symbol on the back. The next reason is that it’s white. We have several fans of white swim briefs.
Swimwear should be fun! This is a perfect pair for a pool party. In the past when I have gone to pool parties, I would wear something fun and different. I never liked to wear something someone else would wear. I would search high and low to find something. This would be one I would def check out.
The last thing I like about this is the simplicity of design. It’s not over the top, super bright or crazy (btw I like all these things in swimwear). It’s a simple white brief with a pattern on the back. It’s also available in a trunk/square cut. I prefer the briefs over the bigger cut ones.

Spandex is my favorite form of fetishwear. I love it in all forms, biking gear, singlets, runners and more. It has always been super sexy to me. One company that takes spandex gear and turns it on its head is Slick It Up. They put their own spin on spandex. One of their best gear pieces is their singlets. Now they have turned their sights to speed suits.
The speed suits, well this one, looks more like cycling gear. The skin suits for biking are one piece with a zipper down the front. Slick It Up, has taken this already sexy style and added a few new things. This one has cutouts on the front and back. The front are kind of like racing stripes. They are on the chest and down the stomach. Followed by some down the leg. At first look I thought it was different color spandex. The real deal is in the back. The back is mesh followed by two cut outs on the cheeks.
It’s not your normal skin/racing suit. This is made to be worn for a different work out! Unlike other pairs, this one is only available in two sizes, due to the super stretchy spandex. The sizes are Small/Medium and Medium/Large. This pair is not cheap. You can get a singlet for around 30-45 dollars. This one is going to cost you $136. Sexy fetishgear comes at a premium. These cut outs are not easy to create.

It’s Thong Thursday and here is a mix of a TT and a TBT. This is Martin in our 2017 UNB Swimwear Guide in a JOR thong. This was a super fun shoot we did! Stay tuned for more shoots soon.
Right now I LOVE flamingos. Many brands are also loving them and putting them on their underwear and swimwear. Marco Marco has taken the flamingo print to the next level with their new Nautical line. I hear many of you go, what’s the big deal? The new print is UV reactive! After a day of showing it off at the pool wear it to the club and show off your Blacklight colors.
The new Nautical comes in a brief, halfmoon brief, and a harness. You can wear the pieces together or separate. The harness can be worn for a night out at the club with jeans, shorts, or the Nautical line undies! They are all just super fun! The briefs, other than the club, can be worn under anything. I would admit I”d love to see a guy in a navy power suit wearing this pair under, and of course with a pink tie.
This line is probably one of my favorites from Marco Marco. Not just the flamingos but the colors. Blue, white and pink all go very well together. The print is very well designed. Let’s talk about the halfmoon brief. It has a halfmoon cut out at the top by the waistband. Then in the back, it has the flamingo fabric up the center of the back!

I have enjoyed underwear for about 15 years. Cannot recall what attracted me to try something other than the standard briefs/trunks that were available here in Australia. I think it could have been seeing something on TV.
For a long time, I hid my underwear from everyone. Over the past 7 years, I have been more & more comfortable in my choices & not hid them as much. My partner has allowed me to be even more comfortable in my choice of underwear.
I wear thongs on most days of the weeks, jockstraps come in second.
I wear them as I find them comfortable & are also a way to feel sexy. A small way to show that I am comfortable in my own skin & the underwear the I wear.
