This year we decided to do something different in our Valentines Day Guide. I asked our guys to recommend a few pairs. However, they fit in three categories. The first is a Classic Pair, a pair that has classic styling for each guy (note that each guy has a different opinion on each of these, that’s what makes UNB so great). The Bottom Drawer: For my classic pick, I’m going to go with Kiniki’s Stretch Cotton Micro Brief. It’s a classic cut bikini with some skimpiness added with it’s low cut and ¾ back. Cotton also comes to mind when I think of classic and these are a 95% cotton and 5% elastane. The 5% elastane makes a big difference and gives these a snugger fit than you’d get with just cotton. None of which I have many of or wear very often and not real wild considering some erotic options out there. I’m going to recommend one that I don’t actually own for this one, but it’s a quality brand that I have several pairs from. I’m going with Bodyaware’s Italian Transparent Tactel Tanga. The Bottom Drawer: My favorite bikini is Prevail Sports string brief. It reminds me of a bodybuilder’s posing suit. The bikini has the right amount of noncoverage all around. They have a nice snug fit and holds everything in place. Good selection of colors and prints. Another bikini, I really like is Blueline Microfiber String Bikini. This isn’t a mainstream brand and nothing real fancy about it. It’s a great fit,the right amount of support, and comfort for everyday wear. I’ll wrap this up with another string bikini. Prevail Sports Rio Brief is another I like to pull out if the drawer often. A little skimpier of a string bikini cut. Another one I like the fit, color, and print selection. Great comfort for everyday wear also. The nice thing about all three pairs are they are available under $13 a pair. Hit them on sale and get them for less.
UNBSandy: My all time fav bikini. Style, comfort, look all excellent! N2N Bodywear Classic Cotton Bikini UN11. It’s affordable and not too extreme for the lockerroom! The pouch is incredible and covers my butt without riding up or bunching. Closest I’ve ever come to the feeling of wearing nothing!
Underweardude: Specific pairs..*begins rummaging through underwear drawer*..As always with me and bikinis the Ergowear X3D Bikini springs to mind, the suave edition is better in some ways and worse in others than the original. My favorite pairs that I purchased in 2016 were bikinis, the CockSox CX16N Bikini, with a pouch that is a little less pronounced than the one on the original Cocksox pair, which I like, and the N2N California Dreamin Bikini. It’s from a line that came out year or so ago, so if you don’t have one already you’ve probably missed out on this awesome pair. The fabric is great, the pattern is funky, and the pouch is supurb.
UNBTIM: Great Question Undies Fool! One of my all time favorite bikinis is the Cocksox CX01. It’s a classic and one of the most comfortable pairs I have in my underwear drawer. I have several pairs and have always enjoyed them. I am loving the new colors with accenting leg and waistbands. Also, the pouch is one of my favorites. I don’t think you can go wrong with getting a Cocksox CX01, EVER! Also, another favorite is the Ergowear Sauve X3D Vermouth bikini. It has amazing fabric that’s super soft. We do a lot of posts on UNB over the years about what to wear out on your Valentine’s Day celebration with your significant other. This year is no different from others. The Billy line has become one of the mainstays of the aussieBum lineup. We have seen it in many forms. One of my favorite were the 80’s Video Game prints they created when it was first released. Now, they have solids and fun prints. The latest edition to the line are the Stars!
The Stars line are a limited edition print. Done in red, white and blue. Nope it’s not for the USA but the same colors as the Australian flag! Each color is the solid back with a contrasting color for the stars. The red and blue have white stars. And the white has what looks to be navy stars.

The popularity of thongs is off the chart going into 2017. It’s the new must have style for guys. This is not just for gay guys, the straight guys have take up the thong. Why do straight guys love thongs?
I have a theory and my guys on the site can def respond to this in another post. I think the pair has had the “gay” label for so long. It’s a pair guys aren’t supposed to wear. We don’t cover much bodybuilding gear. However, as our readership expands we plan to cover more things in the gear world. Egick is a really interesting company. They have done some great swimwear and underwear this year. We have shown you a few things and will continue to cover them.
I saw this pair on Instagram. It’s in heavy rotation on their Instagram being so new. It made me head over to the Egick site and take a look. This pair is designed for bodybuilders and posing on stage. That doesn’t mean you can’t get a pair if you want something smaller for the beach or to tan in.

The cut of these is smaller than normal swim briefs many of you are used too. It’s designed to show off every muscle. That means there is no drawstring waistband. It’s an elastic waist, if you wear swimming, take note. It could cause problems if you’re super active.
The pair retails for $65. Some of you may go whoa! But this is specially designed for bodybuilders. If you are in this market, it may be a good investment for you to purchase one of these or maybe two. Meaning the legs and waist are made for your proportions over regular pairs of swimwear.
Lastly, the sizing is Medium through X-large. Which is a 28-36 waist. Sizing is made for the target market. I don’t think many bodybuilders will be over 36 inches unless you’re really tall. But I could be wrong.
