Today’s Brief Distraction is a Throwback Thursday! This is from Vegas last year and the N2N Bodywear collection. Today the new line is OUT so go check out the N2N site and see whats new!
Here’s what’s hot in the US from Mensunderwearstore.com. Each month we team up with Mensunderwearstore to bring you some underwear you know and some new pairs you may not! Brands this month include CK, 2(X)ist, for those you know and Bread & Boxers for one you don’t!
Private Structure Contour Briefs
Private Structure’s Contour Briefs bring basic comfort together with a sexy, low-rise shape. The focus here is color. If you’re a guy who’s used to neutral basics and want to amp up your style game, these briefs come in 10 colors, including 6 bright shades that are perfect (and just in time) for spring. The briefs are made of a cozy stretch cotton and feature a contour pouch for ultimate shape and support.
Calvin Klein Athletic Trunks
Quick-drying, supportive underwear for the gym make for a great workout. The Calvin Klein Athletic Trunks provide the best moisture-absorbing technology and support level. These trunks stretch to the body, and the nylon fabric won’t bunch or hold in sweat. Whether you’re pushing your body during an intense workout or going on a light jog, you’ll have the perfect level of comfort in these trunks. Plus, they come in seven color variations from basic black to bold red.
Calvin Klein Dual Tone Hip Briefs
Calvin Klein’s Dual Tone collection gives a cool shift to the brand’s classic styles. The underwear are woven in a way
that when they stretch around the body, they reveal an extra layer of color that complements the top layer. Like all other CK styles, the hip briefs feature a supportive pouch, a logo waistband, and a figure-flattering fit that’s unmistakably classic.

Bread & Boxers Briefs
If you’re more of a basic-basics guy, Bread & Boxers, the trending lifestyle brand, produces some of the best basics on the market. B&B’s underwear are made of soft stretch cotton and come in the most comfortable basic fits. These briefs are no-brainers; Sure, they’re not flashy and come in three neutral colors, but these are the kind of comfortable, well-fitting undies you don’t have to think about when you’re getting ready in the mornings. Call them “no-stress underwear.” We call them the new basic must-haves.
2(x)IST Turbo Collection
2(x)IST’s Turbo collection is easily our hottest pick of the month. These microfiber underwear and tank tops come in a stretchy, smooth microfiber and 5 color combinations in an edgy design. All of the styles (the briefs,
trunks and jock straps) hug the body for an extra sexy look and comfortable support. The best part: our entire selection is 25% off Snag a pair while you still can. These undies are going fast.

PUMP Touchdown Trunks
Sporty underwear is right on-trend for spring, and no other brand does this style better than PUMP! These trunks are made of mesh fabric that’s slightly see-through, giving it a hint of sexiness. With a bold logo waistband and bold striped leg openings to give them a rugby vibe, these trunks provide style, contouring and a comfortable fit whether you’re wearing these during a hot and heavy workout or sporting them casually.

aussieBum has just released the new range AusBoy. The AusBoy range is the newest ergonomically designed underwear. First, let me say that usually aB makes really good undies and I have never had an issue with any fit. But, if they are entering this market I welcome it and feel they will hit a home run. Taking the great construction and mixing in the erognomic design how could they not win!
The first thing that catches your eye is the unique panel design. This design is made to fit a guy and how he moves in sports and in every day life. It creates a pouch to give you support without binding or restricting motion. The pictures feature the model playing cricket, but I have found underwear made for sports is great for every day wear.
The next thing that made me take notice is the material. The AusBoy line is made out of modal. Which has become my favorite fabric in underwear. This is for two reasons. Modal is super soft and feels amazing against the skin. Second, modal is very breathable and keeps you cool. Modal has become the material companies are starting to use in underwear on a bigger scale. I hope we will see it become the dominant fabric.
Those of you who have been long time readers know I love a waistband. It’s one of the reasons I buy a pair. The AusBoy has a new aB Waistband. I like it it’s a bold design and available in black/red (Omega) or blue and red (Alpha). This is the only color in the pair. The body of the pairs are white.
AusBoy is available in a brief, hipster (trunk) and L-leg (boxer brief). This is one of the few times I remember aB making a longer legged boxer brief. I vaguely remember one a while back but it’s not a standard style for them. That being said with a pair designed for sports it’s a smart decision to have it in the collection. Many guys prefer this length when wearing underwear for cricket, baseball and such.
It’s always great to see aussiBum’s new pairs. They are not a company that stays in one box and does the same underwear over and over. They are a company that will take risks. The pairs are available now and the pairs cost, Brief $28, Hipster $30 and L-leg $34. All available on the aussieBum site now
We recieved an email with this pic from C-IN2! This is C-IN2’s new model Chris Delbeck wearing a Zen brief; shot by Rick Day. Rick Day has been doing the last few shoots for them. We hope you enjoy the pic!
Modus Vivendi is one of those companies that really has their own vision and sticks to it! This time they have released Dreamland. A collection that will be released in 7 parts from now till the end of summer. This is the first in the series!
The tag line of the campaign is “When dreams become reality.” You will see the models blending into the background in the lifestyle images they have released. The picture above is set in the Wild West, which is a bit of a departure from the Greek heritage, but they still keep their unique take on undies!
Find this and more on their site. Here is their write up for the collection:
Let the self you dream of become reality with Modus Vivendi’s new campaign, Dreamland. Igniting images of men, idols and heroes that fascinate and excite, Dreamland presents some of the world’s most coveted male characters, and invites you to become one of them. Be what you dream.
The campaign starts with the Wild West which features the all new, denim inspired Denim Look briefs, boxers and jocks. They all feature a sexy lace up front with PVC fabric panels, metal eyelets and cords ending in metal aglets with each item having a different mixture of design details that make it really special.

You either love or hate animal prints. I have sort of a love hate relationship myself. Some of the prints are amazing while others are a miss. If you fall into the second part of that we may have an animal print you may love. Papi just released the new Wild Thing collection. It’s available in a jock and trunk. The jock is what we are going to be covering.
The Wild Thing collection is a solid fabric with a cheetah print in the same color. So the print is very slight and not over the top. It adds a bit of style to what would be a solid color. I think they did a great job coming up with this collection. This is because it will allow more guys to step outside their solid underwear box and try something a little more wild!
The jock is a traditional jock. The waistband is a grey 1 1/4 inch branded with the Papi logo in the center. Legs straps really can make or break a jock, this pair has a 3/4 inch leg straps that match their other jocks in their line up. Lastly is the material, it is made out of a 63% Nylon / 32% Polyester / 5% Spandex fabric.
Colors are key to this pair and they have just released four bright fun colors. Those colors are Black, Intensity (Red), Purple and Storm Blue. My favorite is the Black. When you think of a black pair you’re expecting solid dark black. This is more of a grey with the cheetah print.
Papi really created something out of the ordinary with this pair. Hats off to the creativity for this one. It goes along with our philosophic that underwear should be fun and add to your wardrobe. This one would do that and would be great under jeans or even under a suit.
As we stated it’s available in a Brazilian Trunk as well. The jock retails for $28.00 on the Papi site.
Underewar
Underwear should be fun! PPU has done some great undies for the new collection. The 1412 Brief has a bright pink waistband with a cut out below the waistband and pouch. Also the trim around the legs and pouch are a matching pink! It’s super fun!
Do you remember our video review of this pair? It was BANNED from YouTube, we were told it violated community standards! Now wouldn’t you want a pair so hot you can’t wear it on YouTube? If so then check out the Just /b/ Trunk. It’s available for today for just $12. Check out all the other sales on the specials page on the Baskit Site!
Days of the week underwear is something you think of when you’re younger. It’s a cute way to get When you get older you don’t need a reason to change underwear. We have readers who change their underwear 2-3 times a year. I remember one reader who wore a pair in the morning, then changed at the gym, and then changed after the gym into another pair.
Vizeau has released a new collection called “Days of the Week.” Which is the most conservative style I have seen from the brand! Usually their pairs super skimpy and those who dare to bare and almost show off everything. The new collection is a series of boxer briefs with the days of the week on the waistband. Each one is sold separately, so you can buy your favorite day or get a few!
I Love that that each day has a different color and waistband. It’s not so cookie cutter. Most of our readers want unique and fun underwear, so a brand that makes it all the same is not one you guys would be interested in. Its just enough difference to make the pairs stand out. Each boxer brief/trunk is the same cut but a different main color. On top of that is a tailor made waistband with the name embroidered in to the fabric.
Just by the picture it looks as if each pair does have a defined pouch. So, they took some time to include their style into the pair and not make them so plain. The accent around the pouch also will set off and accent your pouch.
If you have wanted to try Vizeau and didn’t want to go for something wild now is the time to check them out! Also, if you’re a fan of the brand and want to have something you can wear to the gym, they just may have something for you now! Find this and more at the Vizeau site.
We bring you a Style Brief featuring the best in sales in men’s underwear. In our Reader survey you guys said you wanted to get more sales! So we are going to do that for you guys.

Model turned Underwear Designer Todd Sanfield has released is new collection. As always he does amazing pictures for his line. He’s never been one who could be labeled shy! We hope you enjoy this pic and will check out his collection.
What is sexier than mesh undies? Not a whole lot in my opinion. You can get the pairs that leave little to the imagination or those who give a hint of whats underneath. The Clever 5190 Calipso Mesh Latin Brief is the later! It will show enough of whats underneath but not give everything away!
The first thing you notice about the pair is it comes in a light green. Which in itself is not a color you see typically in mesh undies. However if you want a more traditional color it is available in black. But, if your’e like me you prefer something different and fun in your undies and would definitely go with the green.
As you notice on the pictures the green pair has a grey waistband with Clever written in the same green. While the black is solid black, including waistband with Clever written in blue. The black does appear to be a bit more see through. So keep that in mind when making a selection.
The two pairs are made out of a nylon/spandex stretch mesh. So it will conform to your body and keep things well in place. This also means it will feel great against your skin. I prefer a fabric with a higher spandex percentage. This pair has 25% spandex in the fabric composition.
Other factors that make this a good pair are the low rise style and pouch. The pair has low rise design that is great wearing under jeans. Meaning the waistband won’t show over the top. There are some readers who will not like this and love to show off their undies. The second is the way the fabric is cut it creates a contour pouch. So it will give you great support through out the day.
If you’re up for some really fun mesh underwear we suggest you give the Clever 5190 Calipso Mesh Latin Brief. It is part of the Spring 2014 Collection from Clever and should be at stores now!
We want to know if you are a fan of mens thongs? I have talked to all kinds of guys, gay/straight/bi and we have a population of guys who love it and those who hate them. It’s not just one type of guy. I have talked to many straight guys who love them. In fact our very own Brandon says every guy should try a thong! Whereas, we have gay guys who would never be caught dead in them! The picture features Gregg Homme Torrid thong. It’s been one of their best sellers!
So Vote below and tell us what you think of mens thongs!
One comment that stood out in our reader survey was to find more models of color. I agree with this so when I ran across this picture on the Timoteo Tumblr, I had to use it. When possible we’re going to try to include more models of color. This features the Timoteo Rugby Lace-up jock Brief
You think it would go hand in hand with undies, but for me it’s been a recent thing I have added to my underwear love. Socks have come into their own in the last year or so. The world of socks has EXPLODED. When you used to go to the department store to find just black, brown, maybe grey and white. All pretty basic and rarely did you find something fun.
Flash forward to 2014 and Frank Dandy has released a whole line of Bamboo Socks. I got the chance to try them and to be honest I wasn’t expecting too much. I mean, it just seemed to me that “they were just socks.” I”m a simple guy and usually wear white ankle socks or longer athletic sock. This will change after trying these.
First thing is the bamboo fabric just felt amazing. Better than any cotton or nylon sock I have tried before. They were comfortable and breathed like no other sock I have had before. It felt like I wasn’t wearing socks at all.
The next thing that I loved was the color. I realized that I can now wear them to match my shirt or even undies. Usually when I wear a suit I try to match the underwear with my tie. I know some of you are going, why bother but others our there get it. I don’t always do it but I try too! Now throw in socks you can add a whole new level of matching. I wore the red ones with my blue high top Chuck Taylors. Which really set the shoes off.
Socks are moving to the forefront of men’s fashion. Frank Dandy just has solids but other markers are doing patterns, polka dots or stripes in super fun colors. So you can show more personality with your socks in a way you can’t do with underwear. I say this because very few people see your underwear but more can and will see your socks. It’s Super fun.
Let us know who your favorite sock maker is. Also if you need great socks go check out the amazing Frank Dandy. I have 4 pairs and love them!

I’m so ready for summer and swimwear. One brand you should think about trying is Paul Ferrer, they have some great pics and would be something different than the rest of your friends would have!
We got contacted by Charles Owo the other week. They are a new brand n the men’s underwear market with some great new designs. We thought you guys needed to know this brand and interviewed them!
You started in clothing what made you start making underwear?
I started designing bespoke jackets and ties, and then decided to expand into ready-made clothing and accessories for men. In fact, underwear was the first line of our ready-made business. The true gentleman not only looks good on the outside, but maintains a certain level of refinement throughout his entire wardrobe, which includes his underwear. It’s very hard to find high quality, well designed men’s underwear. We are committed to filling that gap in the marketplace and to bringing the finest in men’s underwear to the discerning shopper.
Moreover, I’ve always had a thing for nice underwear and I probably own an underwear from every relevant brand that is out there. I envisioned an underwear line that replaced the mundane black, blue, grey or white underwear, with bold colors, made with the finest fabric available, and innovative designs that represent the modern man.
They say when you look good, you feel good, and I think that also applies to articles of clothing that isn’t exposed. I also believe that the right underwear gives a boost of confidence and you can tell a lot about a man from his choice of underwear.
What has been your inspiration for creating your line?
Growing up, I helped as an apprentice at the family shop and was fascinated by the tailor’s ability to turn yards of fabric into various garments. So as a teenager, I started designing using tie and dye, not necessarily with an end goal in mind, but truly in love with the process of creating, and in most instances the designs will come out great. It was then that I realized my passion for what I now know how to do best.
Fast forward several years later from assisting at the family shop, I launched my career working in one of the most renowned fashion power houses, Chanel. Although I was primarily involved in driving the business, being in that creative environment, coupled with the rich history and story of Gabrielle Chanel, fueled my desire to indulge my creative side. The culmination of these experiences provided the impetus to go on this journey that is CHARLES OWO.
Tell us about your underwear collection?
Just like our other product lines, our underwear re-defines luxury. We offer several designs to suit different occasions. We use the finest fabrics and our products are produced within the highest quality facilities located in Italy by artisans who are obsessed with quality as I am. I’m very proud of what we’ve created for our current line. Our most popular collections are:
The Iconic Houndstooth Collection, which consists of a brief and a lounge short made out of 95% cotton and 5% elastane fabric blend. The Lounge short features a closed pouch and drawstring. This is our most popular collection.
The Bold Cotton Collection, which consists of a brief and boxer brief made out of 95% cotton and 5% elastane. Both cuts feature a double stitched thigh hem. The design and fabric choice offer a better overall fit and reduces chaffing.
The Coastian Collection, which was recently featured on NBC’s Access Hollywood Valentine’s Day Edition, consists of a boxer brief in two colors, Pink and Blue. Each boxer has multiple color blocks. This is also made out of 95% cotton and 5% elastane. Contour pouch provides enhancement for better comfort, control and support.
What sets you apart from other underwear brands?
Because we are not just an underwear brand we think about underwear design more holistically, and how it relates with our other product offerings. We are committed to quality, and the level of detail and effort we put into crafting our underwear collection is unrivaled.
What does the future hold for Charles Owo?
We are very excited about our fall line. We will release an expanded collection, new fabrics, new design, but the same commitment to delivering the highest quality. I encourage you to stay connected with us on social media as we often preview new design from upcoming collections.

Are you a fan of the aussieBum Wonder Jock line? If you’re not familar the Wonder Jock (WJ) line, it did to men’s underwear what the Wonder Bra did for women’s undies. The WJ takes what you have and enhances it. To do this the it has a pouch to put your goods in and the WJ does the rest! See the pictures below to see how this is made into the brief and hipster.
aussieBum has now created a jock brief and jock boxer brief. Each style has the traditional cuts of the brief and trunk, but the back is cut out. I believe this if one of the first jock briefs they have done. One thing I really love about this collection is the green color. It’s by an far my favorite color and very few undies companies make green underwear. The official names of colors offered are: lagoon Forest, Chocolate, Burgundy and deep purple. Also made with the signature aB logo wasitband.
If you’re interested in these pairs the brief retails for $21 and the trunk/hipster is $24. You can find these and more at the aussieBum website.
