JOR has some really amazing swimwear this year! I love the one pictured here due to the bold colors that look like a sunset over the ocean to me. It’s super fun and perfect for any vacation.
The company that brought us the jockstrap has now released a thong! Bike in the last few years has really been broadening their offerings, including swimwear, crop tops and more. Yesterday, I found out that Bike dropped a thong. they made the thong in true Bike style. The waist band is very much like the classic jock waistband but not as thick as the classic jock.

In our recent podcast with Sai, he mentioned that the Japanese market has underwear/swimwear that is sports related. GX3 released the Rugger Bikini swimwear! Inspired by rugby. I love what GX3 is doing and think they make some of the sexiest gear in Japan

There are so many things that BodyAware makes that are amazing. One of them is the use of Satin in men’s underwear. They are the go to brand for men’s satin undies!
Swimwear Sunday is when I usually pick one pair to profile for you guys, but with Psittacuswear it’s way too hard to pick just one pair. They have many incredible prints that bring back such nostalgia but don’t worry if you aren’t a print guy. They have solids and mesh.

Psittacuswear has always been a favorite of our guys on the podcast, specifically Andy and Erik. This brand has grown quite a big over the last few years. Their website has many options in thongs, briefs, and more.
If you grew up in the ’90s, you would see so many prints of some of your favorites, such as My Little Pony, Barbie, CareBears, Rug Rats, and more. I don’t know where he gets these unique prints, but they are just super fun, and I REALLY want the CareBear swim brief so bad.
One thing to note is this brand is not in the US. They are out of Spain. So yes, you will have to pay for international shipping for US readers. It’s a given if you are a reader or fan of UNB and love underwear, swimwear, or some gear. My life has been in flux over the last few years, and there has been a lot going on, and UNB has changed during this time. It has gone through many iterations over the previous 15 years.
Sometimes we have had staff, and like the last few years, we have yet to. Blogs were prominent in the 2000s and early 2010s. But with the increased popularity of social media and influencers, the blog differs from what it used to be. Don’t get me wrong, there is still a place for a blog, and they will be around for a while. But you have to change with the times.
I’m bringing back something I enjoyed a few years ago, the UNB Focus group. It’s not a traditional focus group per se, but it is a group of guys. I can send out a topic and ask you to give me feedback on a particular topic and get it published on the blog. Also, be the first to find out some things on the blog, and I will include you guys in some of the planning as well.
What do you need to Join this focus group?
- A passion for underwear, swimwear, and/or gear
- Willing to submit a paragraph on a topic within a week’s deadline.
- Participate in the posts and discussions.
- Be open to making new friends with other members.
I want this to be a mini-community, and we talk and set up a Telegram group to chat. It will help us all brainstorm issues with undies, the double standards out there, how we manage them, and more.

Pink is the color! Due to the Barbie movie pink is even more popular than ever. One brand that has an amazing pink swim brief is Todd Sanfield. This is their Low Tide Swim Brief in Lotus. It’s hard to believe we are almost at the end of Swimwear Sunday. We have a few weeks left, and swimwear season will end before we know it. I was racking my brain in who to profile this weekend; then I saw our Steaks and Cakes boys posting pics from Mexico in these super fun green and pink swim briefs! Ryan and Will looked incredible in these suits. I had to profile them today, plus MCE Creations makes such excellent gear; they are a small brand but never underestimate them. The pair they wore were the Gold Buckle Swim Briefs.
