I was talking to CA-RIO-CA SUNGAS yesterday and they were on the beach in Rio. I am so jealous, its turning cold here and to spend time on a great beach like Rio in a sunga would be heaven right about now. We can’t all be there but you can see a picture! Today we bring you a pair of swimwear for the Brief Distraction. The Deepdive from Gregg Homme is part of the new collection. We will bring you more on this soon!
This year Cocksox has made some really great swimwear. They started with the Neoprene and now they have swimwear in 4 colorful and fun prints. Cocksox is one of those companies that puts out new pairs when its ready! They are always trying something new and fun. Prints are huge in underwear and swimwear. Some of my favorite swim over the years has come from Cocksox!

These prints are all fun but my favorites are the Kaleidoscope and Bondi Splash. I wouldn’t turn any of them down. They are a lot of fun. These also would make a perfect pair to wear to the beach. Swimwear should be fun and festive for summer time!
The styles available are the Swim Brief (CX02PR), Swim Thong (CX22PR), Boy Leg Swim Brief (CX79PR) and Draw String Swim Brief (CX06PR). Which style will you buy? Or which styles? One style that is making a comeback are thongs. Swim Thongs are coming back and Cocksox has had them for a few years!
My overall impression of the line is the prints are very amazing. Cocksox has their own style and way of doing things. It could be the Aussie way of life or I think the better explanation is they really love making underwear/swimwear. It really shows in everything they do. I personally am glad they are doing it too! They have been one of my favorites and each time new pairs are released that place gets reaffirmed in my underwear/swimwear drawer!

There is a new brand on the market called Matthew Jewson Bodywear. Matthew is about embracing your sexual side and having fun with it. At least thats the impression I get from the collection. I am liking what I am seeing from the initial collection. I am going to profile one piece from each category.
The Matthew Jewson Entice Boxer is a boxer that has a bamboo pouch sounded by mesh. It has the MJ logo on the front. We guarantee you will feel sexy wearing it
The Matthew Jewson Contour Swim Jock. A few brands have done these over the years but I like how Matthew made a jock brief cut in a swim. So many guys want this cut to wear. I’m sure it will be one of the most popular pairs of the swim collection.
The Erotic Collection in Matthew Jewson Combat Complete set. They do something I wished more brand would do is sell everything in one collection. The Combat collection contains the ” Combat Harness is made of black elastic giving an easier fit than most leather harnesses and may be worn above the pecs or below and the Combat Holster, inspired by the classic gun holsters, is a mixture of a jock with leg straps featuring a pleather front lifting pouch”
The Matthew Jewson Latex Look Thong. Are you a fan of the look of latex? But hate the way you have to care for it? The Latex look collection is made out of a specialty spandex fabric to give you the look of latex without the hassle. The pouch has a lifting strap for maximum lift and the back will accentuate your assets.
One thing you should note is the sizing of the brand. The XL is 34-36. The reason for this is that Matthew “had been working on creating a well-fitting pair of underwear; due to his extra thin stature.” so the sizing starts at 26 and goes through 36 inches.

Over the years we have done a series of pictures. Today is the day we are celebrating 7 years of UNB! I wanted to do a picture that I Love that we have done. This one was the first to come into my mind. This was taken during years Swimwear Guide. I snapped it with my iPhone. It’s Chandler in JOR showing off for the boaters! He’s just an amazing guy! I loved this picture so much I put it on the back of my UNB business card. Today we will have all posts on our 7th Anniversary. It is very personal to me and I have to thank you guys! Just because summer is coming to a close for us in the Northern Hemisphere doesn’t mean we can’t have have some great new swimmer. There is always that winter cruise or trip to Mexico to go on. These trips do require new swimwear to wear. Clever comes out with two lines of swim a year, every spring and fall. The new collection was just released and here is whats new at Clever!
The new Clever swim has some really great prints. They range from bright and fun to more subdued and classic. Clever has always produces great swimwear. This collection there are fewer new swim briefs. Don’t let this worry you the classic briefs are still in the collection.
So what is in the new Collection? New is the Iftay Swim Brief in White. It was available in blue but the white is pretty hot. The trim is Navy with a hint of red and makes it pop. Some out there are afraid of white swimwear, but if it’s fully lined you won’t be showing off everything on the beach.
Do you want to stand out on the beach? If so the Clever Tikal Swimsuit Trunk will do just that and more! The Green print is bright and tropical with a peach waistband. The short come mid thigh so it’s not too long and the cut that is most popular right now. You can wear this to the beach as your suit or as a cover up for a swim brief.
Another swim trunk is the Clever Coba Swim Trunk. This one is similar cut to the Tikal but is in a print that is a little more toned down. It’s a blue almost chevron print. It still has the bright tropical colors but not as over the top as the green print. Again this one can be worn as your main suit or a cover up!
Do you want a print but don’t want to go over the top? The Tulum Swim Brief is the suit for you. The two colors available are Blue and Black. It’s a fuller cut brief that has a very subtle print on it. It’s not going to scream “LOOK AT THE PRINT” but definitely will accent the the body. The solid waistband makes this more of a classic pair.
Speaking of prints, the Laguna Swim Brief has a blue/teal print that is perfect for any tropical location. The brief has the traditional full cut that Clever is known for, so you won’t show off everything but the print will definitely draw attention to you. Its a very fun print as well. This is probably my favorite suit out of the collection.
The last pair we are going to cover is the Clever Guarulhos Long Swimsuit. This is for the guy who loves a longer suit. It is either in solid white or black and comes to just above the knee. It would be a great cover up for a skimpier suit. But we know different guys like different kinds of swimwear so it’s great to have options.

With the last Hurrah of summer this weekend. We bring you some amazing pictures of Marcuse Swimwear. This one features the Beachy Green swim brief.
Sukrew makes amazing underwear. The pairs I have tried in the past have, to borrow a British term, brilliant. The pouch and fabric feel awesome to me. So, when the chance to try the new swimwear I jumped at it. I am definitely a swim brief kind of guy but I received the Swim Trunk in Navy! I wasn’t disappointed but couldn’t wait to try out this new suit.
Being in a land locked city the chances of wearing swimwear aren’t too often. I got an offer to spend the day with a friend by the pool. I know this would be the perfect chance to wear the suit. The pool was very swim brief and trunk friendly. Plus my friend I was with would be sporting a swim brief and definite loves swim briefs. So, I knew me wearing it wouldn’t be an issue at all.
Compared to their underwear, the swimwear is a little more conservative. Meaning the swimwear may look a bit plain. There aren’t currently any tartan or prints. This maybe a drawback to some. Unlike underwear swimwear is made to be seen. So you want to make a statement. The bolder the better for some. However, that said this pair has some things I really love.
When I got to the pool I laid out in it for a bit. It was super comfortable and is very well made. If you are familiar with the underwear, it has an amazing pouch. The swimwear is built with the same pouch. It feels awesome for those who love a supportive pouch. Now the pouch can be a bit pouchy, meaning it will show off your goods. At the pool I was at that wasn’t an issue but other places may frown on this.
After a while I got in the pool and it felt amazing. After a bit of pool time I laid out again. I know the rough life I have! In and out of the water this pair just felt amazing. Sukrew really focused on the comfort factor of these. Unlike underwear if you get a bad pair of swimwear you can’t just take it off and freeball.
The Swim Trunk is made out of 80% Polyamide, 20% Elastane. The fabric is a nice choice for a pair of swim. This means it will conform to your body. The fabric was also pretty fast drying. A slow drying pair of swimwear is my biggest gripe. I hate it!
Overall they did a great job on the swim. I’m very glad they branched out into this world. This will be one of my favorite suits of this year. Also, one thing I forgot to mention, the swimwear comes with a matching pouch to put it in! If you pack you can put it in the pouch or if you’re at the beach/pool your money or other items.

Cons:
- The pouch may show off too much for some and not be appropriate at all pools
- Some may not like it’s just available in Solid colors right now and no prints
