Jor is a brand that always has amazing thongs. Every collection they have them in prints, solids and more! This collection is no different. One of my favorites in the entire collection is the Tayrona thong. It is also a bikini, so if you love both you may have to stock up.

From the front of the Tayrona it looks very much like a bikini. Meaning it’s not high cut on the sides. Many thongs have this design but this one is a bit lower on the hips. It’s so freaking sexy to me. Plus the, is it a thong or brief, I can’t tell from the front is what I love. Hence the official name the Tayrona Bikini Thong!

The Tayrona is available in four colors. They are navy, white, black, and red. The fabric is a 78% NYLON 22% SPANDEX blend, making it super comfy for all day wear. There is a front seam that makes the pouch. I’m not 100% sure that it’s a contoured pouch or if it’s part of the design.

This may look familiar to you if you are a fan of JOR. The Sunny Bikini thong is the same design but in swimwear. I was going to say that this would be an amazing pair of swim, but then I remembered, it exists. It could be a very first starter swim thong that isn’t too skimpy and if you lay on your back people may not know you are wearing a thong.

Thongs are continuing to grow in popularity among you guys. We will have a lot more thong content and hope you guys love it. Give us feedback on the pairs we profile or suggest pairs.

Do you like the smallest thong you can buy? This is the smallest thong that Slick It Up can make. Not in the sure size of the thong on but the thong itself can fit in the size of a bubble gum piece. Making it perfect for your ever-expanding underwear drawer. If you’re like me space is a premium.

This thong as a funny name but is made for accenting your backside. The contour pouch mixed with the triangle design in the back will make your cheeks pop and show off. It is available in two colors, black and bubblegum (pink). I think these are the perfect colors and if you can’t decide on which one you want you can get a combo with both colors.

More companies like Slick It Up are designing barely there underwear. Using fabrics and technology to create the smallest and most comfortable underwear on the market. It’s awesome to see this happen. It can be said it’s almost like a technology race in the world of men’s underwear!

This pair is just $22 for the one thong and $40 for both the black/bubble gum pack! This is one of the least costly items I have seen on the Slick It Up site. It’s pretty much in line with what a thong will cost you. Especially when you compare to other brands.

Lastly, this thong reminds me of one of my very first thongs. It was a similar cut and black. I remember it very well. But something tells me this will fit better than that thong. It was 100% cotton and a bigger back. I wish I would have had something like this back then!

If you are a thong fan, we highly recommend checking out the Bubblekini out from Slick It Up. Just double check the sizes before you order.

Is sexy and naughty two words you would use to describe PetitQ? I wouldn’t say as naughty but sexier for sure. The PetitQ guys really have hit their stride and have begun making super sexy and fun undies at a pace few other brands are matching. It’s just the third month of the year and we are already into the second collection of the year.

Their collection always consists of super skimpy briefs, thongs, and trunks. They also have two new harnesses in the collection. Fetishwear is going more mainstream. It’s not in every store across the land but it is more acceptable to wear on both sides of the sexual spectrum. I know we have several straight guys who want to explore this more… now if their partners were along for the ride.

Here are the new pairs that have been released!

Jocks are no longer the traditional Bike 10 jock with the wide waistband and leg straps. Now they are as much as about fashion as any other pair. One new Jock, which is more of a jock brief, is the Clever Moda Gigolo brief. But as you can see, this is definitely a cross between the Jock and brief.

This pair has some good things going for It. First the front looks like a traditional brief. The full front and low key waistband will make it seem you’re just in a cool brief. But when you turn around, the back has cut outs at the top and bottom. Lastly, in back has mesh fabric that makes this super sexy!

Just like classic underwear, this pair is available in just black or white. I think red or blue would look amazing in this pair. The fabric is Nylon 80% Spandex 20 blend, which will make it super sexy throughout the day. The sizing is the Clever Moda small – x-large. Note that this is a Columbian brand and we suggest going a size larger.

This is definitely a new take on the jock. The back is not completely open. Therefore, there aren’t any leg straps either. Some may argue that this is not a jock but I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I think the design is a lot of fun. To quote Top Chef, it’s a deconstructed jock, with an extra sexy factor!

This definitely fits in the overall Clever Moda line. The front reminds me of some of the classic pairs that they have had in the past. Clever has always had a range from “classic” to super sexy. I would say this is more on the super sexy end of the spectrum

I purchased a custom Skinzwear G-String Adjustable Pouch suit for review.

Rating: 8.6/10 (Average of the ratings below)

Daily Fit: 9/10

Sizing: 9/10

Construction: 10/10

Styling: 8/10

Daily Performance: 7/10

Pros:

• TINY head-turning design

• Brightly colored fabric

• Endless customization options

Cons:

• The only negative thing that I would say about this suit is that the fabric isn’t as stretchy as I would like

UNB Ryan recommendation: The Skinzwear Adjustable Pouch G-String was one of the first minimal suits I ever wore, and my wife actually bought me one to wear on our honeymoon many years ago.  This one, in particular, was a custom design I had made and have been more than happy with.  Skinzwear makes a quality suit that can be worn by anyone, almost anywhere (at least anywhere that they aren’t against the law!)

Today I am reviewing a suit that I had custom made by Skinzwear-the suit is their tiniest G-Sting available, the adjustable pouch G-String (M1R2U.)  I am a long time customer of the Skinzwear brand.  The first pair I bought was in my early 20s and my wife even bought me a Skinzwear G-String that I wore on our honeymoon in Jamaica.  I’ve always loved the fit and construction from Skinzwear, and every time I order a new pair I am amazed at the endless customization options available.  The pair I am reviewing was right up my alley, tiny and vibrant!

I have worn this suit out on the beaches of NC, and several times while on outings in our boat.  The suit is made of a fabric that isn’t quite as stretchy as I am used to, and as such it is better suited for tanning than more active undertakings.  The fabric feels wonderful against the skin and leaves very little to the imagination.  The Thinskinz fabric hugs super close to your skin, and shows off your package, especially when wet!  I have also worn this suit on a few occasions under my clothes while in transit to the beach, so I can also attest that they would work as underwear if you like!

Skinzwear has also offered exceptional quality in both the durability and style departments.  I have never had any problems with the suits I have ordered from them, and I have a few pairs that are 10+ years old that still look brand new.  The fabrics show minimal signs of fading or wear, even after using for multiple seasons.  The pouch is tiny on this suit, and also is adjustable for tanning.  I love that Skinzwear offers almost endless customization options on their website.  You can combine elements from one style to another, chose multiple fabric/color options, and they will even recreate an older style for you if you send a suit in to them, even if they didn’t make it for you.

As far as sizing goes, Skinzwear is a little bit on the larger side for me.  I normally wear a small, but in Skinzwear I could probably get into an extra small.  Also, many of their cuts are a little higher than the styles I am accustomed to wearing, so that could be why they don’t feel as familiar to me in the larger cuts.  Skinzwear does offer a larger range of sizes than about any designer that I’ve seen, ranging from an XXS-XXXL.

To recap, Skinzwear has something for everyone, even for the ladies.  You can have so much fun with their customization options, make matching or contrasting suits for you and your partner, and experiment with fabrics and colors that you won’t find anywhere else.  I encourage you to try one of their thong or G-String styles, especially if you are new to wearing minimal swimwear in public.  You will be able to find something in a cut you are comfortable in, even if you have never worn anything other than a pair of shorts on the beach before!

We cover all kinds of underwear (no pun intended). It’s always fun to share new pairs with you guys. Sharing what I think is awesome and cool out there. Many out there love the barely there underwear. While it’s not generally what I wear, I understand why you guys love this type of undies. My main reason for that is I just don’t fit in this stuff. I have too much to fill a pouch. Sometimes it’s wearing something small under suits or just you love to show off. One pair from Bruno Menswear that I thought was cool is the Jockstrap NA-DS. It’s a funny name for a super skimpy pair of undies.

The pair itself is a waistband with a pouch. The back is a jock thong. It’s Tiny. Imagine if you put a sock over your junk and attached a waistband. That’s the best description I have. This pair will definitely get you some looks. If you wear this on a date and your date doesn’t comment on it, you need a new date! Because if a guy I was going out rocked these on a date, well he would be rewarded.

I do love their description: ” thong bulge spin “, combined with “broad” elastic tapes color “silvered” to the waist and elastic tapes to the crotch in color black and discovered in buttock.” Bruno Menswear is making some of the hottest underwear on the market. Creativity is their middle name I think. The thing that impresses me the most about them is they seemed to come out of nowhere and now are a brand you must watch.

Take a risk in your underwear and step out of your underwear box. I am planning to buy some Bruno Menswear soon to try some of these amazing pairs. Just to prove bigger guys can wear and feel super sexy in skimpy undies. But in the meantime find the Jock at the Bruno Menswear site.

When you think classic underwear, I’m betting that Slick It Up is not one company you would think of making classic undies. When I think of Slick It Up, it’s more fetish, spandex, mesh and barely there gear. However, they have made their own classic line called Adonis.

So, what makes the Adonis a classic pair? In most brands, it wouldn’t be in the classic line, but for Slick It Up, it definitely is! The pair is a simple design. Not saying this as a bad thing. Most simple pairs feel amazing. It’s simply a gold waistband with a brief body. The brief could be, dare I say, a bikini cut. Their official description said that they have a higher cut side, fuller pouch, and sculpted back. The fabric clings but never sags! Which is a great thing in underwear

The Adonis line is made of a spandex/cotton/modal blend. Meaning it will A. Feel Amazing. B. Fit very well and C. Just be awesome! The next awesome thing is the colors. It comes in Tanzanite Purple, Budelli Pink, and Azure Blue. Tanzanite is a rare gemstone made of an amazing purple.  Budelli is named for the pink beach in Italy where the sand is more valuable than gold. Lastly, is Azure blue, which is known as the color of the sky on it’s purest day. The colors are absolutely amazing.

Sizing in Slick It Up doesn’t come in larger sizes. Keep that in mind when ordering. The size chart is as follows.

  • Small – 28-30
  • Medium – 30-32
  • Large – 32-34
  • X-Large – 34-36

The pairs are available individually or in a three pack. It’s kind of cool these are “classic” pairs but they also put in the classic three pack. I”m sure it’s not coming bundled as one but still a great idea. If you want a pair of Slick It Up, get these now!

COLORS: Tanzanite Purple, Budelli Pink, and Azure Blue
FABRIC: spandex/cotton/modal blend
SIZES: Small – X-Large
COST: $24.00 a pair, $60.00 for three pack.

Denim for underwear? It doesn’t sound like it would be the most pleasant underwear, but Stud has created a denim that is awesome for underwear. Since we first met them at Curve in 2011, the denim has been a staple in their line up. One of the new pairs that I really love is the STUD Stryker Denim Jock.

Jocks now are fashion undies instead of athletic gear. You can wear them on dates, to work or just every day wear now! The Stryker jock is made of a spandex denim that isn’t as stiff or unforgiving as the same denim as your jeans. The design has a peekaboo top that shows just a little skin. Top that with snaps around the pouch that are functional.

There is something interesting on the leg straps. They say “WEAR IT PROUD.” You can view these several ways. The first is be gay and be proud. The next is showing your love of amazing underwear! Plus this makes it so that the straps are made to be seen. I know we have a few guys who would totally wear this to the gym.

If you like the look of denim, STUD has a whole series of denim underwear. From briefs to jocks. They have made it one of their signature styles.

PAIR: STUD Stryker Denim Jock
COLORS: Denim
FABRIC: 100% Cotton
SIZES: Small – large
COST: A$33.00

Clever Moda always has a mix of underwear. It ranges from classic to sexy! The underwear we are going to share today is the sexy undies! There are three new pairs they have released the sexy line. They are Epoch Classic Brief, Centenary Matrix Brief and the Manhattan Matrix Brief.

Clever is known for its mesh undies. The Epoch Classic brief is a mix of a classic brief cut with mesh. The front pouch has what appears to be a semi-mesh pouch and sides and back is all mesh. Allowing you to be sexy without showing it off. The brief has a bigger, classic cut. The waistband and leg openings just scream “Classic”, which is a good thing. Available in classic colors Black and White.

If you’re looking for 100% mesh, the Centenary Matrix Brief is just for youThis smaller cut brief has the Clever waistband you are familiar with, the white has the blue waistband and the black has the red. The high cut sides will allow you to wear during active times or just hanging at home. Note the pair does have a center seam on the pouch. I know some readers don’t care for the seam. It’s just in white and black.

The last pair is the Manhattan Matrix Brief. Let’s say you want mesh underwear but don’t want to show off all the goods. This pair has a mesh fabric that isn’t as see-through as the other two. Basically, you can have the advantages of the mesh without showing off all the goods. The colors are gold and green. They are not super bright tones of either color but still very nice, top it with the waistband and you have a winner.

There are a lot more pairs available from Clever, over the next two weeks we will bring you more of them! You can find all three pairs at Candyman Fashion.

It’s been a new year it’s time to get new underwear to work out in. If you made it past your New Years Resolution to work out and you’re still at it, congrats! You deserve to treat yourself. One great thing to treat yourself with is the Timoteo Areo Tech underwear line. It’s designed for working out and being active.

The Areo Tech line is made out of cooling mesh mixed with compression technology. Meaning you can have a serious workout and still stay cool. This could be at the gym, running, cross fit or anything else you can think of doing. You will also look amazing while doing it.

The line comes in a brief, jock brief, jock, legging and short. All of these are perfect to work out in. These are leggings that you could wear by themselves to the gym. I am seeing more and more guys wear what was once considered an undergarment as their work out gear. The same could be said for the short.

Work out in style with the three colors, Army, Blue or Red. Mix that with the color block design. Timoteo has done a great job with the new Areo Tech line! Like I said you need to check out this line for working out!

Ok, this one I personally messed up. I posted the 2017 inductees into our Drawer of Fame. The server issues and have two lists of the winners. One with last years and one with this years! DOH! So these are our brands/retail sites we are inducing

GREGG HOMME

Where to begin with this amazing brand. They were founded in 1987 and have changed the world of underwear since. I have long said that Gregg Homme makes sexy underwear that is meant to wear. No matter what you do in their undies, you can almost guarantee you will be super comfy. Other fetish brands are made to be taken off after a few hours.

Their design philosophy is making the most comfortable, sexy underwear on the market. Well, that’s my take on them. One area they excel is fabric. They source some of the most amazing fabrics in men’s underwear. They have become a leader in fabric. They try new things such as laser cutting, long before other brands. GH is a true innovator in the area.

This is their description:

Positioned right between lust and fantasy, GREGG HOMME puts to use the latest technologies and pioneering material to create the extraordinary and fashionable styles from classics such as string underwear and briefs underwear to outrageous fetish wear. Specifically designed with men’s comfort in mind, GH relentlessly pushes the limits of balance between functionality, modernization and fashion. With GREGG HOMME comes a design anatomically shaped for the male body: all fits are specifically engineered for the utmost pleasure of not only the wearer but also the people around.

We think the qualities mentioned above make them a perfect entry into our Drawer of Fame!

DEAD GOOD UNDIES

Dead Good Undies is a retailer most readers should know on UNB. They do a weekly column “What’s Hot in the UK.” We have done this I think 2009. They profile some amazing underwear and gear each month. Launching in 2007, just one year older than UNB! They have been a staple on the internet and stood the test when other stores have come and gone.

The world of retail is not easy! Adam and Jane at Deadgoodundies.com have created a store that is known for amazing brands and styles. They always seem to be looking forward to what’s next. There have been many times over the last 10 years of UNB, that they have exposed me to new brands. Those brands include ManStore, Olaf Benz, Bruno Banani and more. They have a very different take on underwear from the US Centric one we have at UNB.

Founded in 2007, Deadgoodundies.com is a specialist men’s underwear and swimwear website dedicated to the best designer fashion brands from around the world. Launched by website and undies expert Adam Davies and fashion journalist Jane Garner, DGU has gained a reputation not just for having a top notch selection of men’s underwear styles – but also swift deliveries, excellent customer service and a willingness to make sure customers get the briefs, boxer briefs, slips, strings, thongs or trunks they want, when they want.

We look forward to working with DGU for many years to come!

Joe Snyder

When you think of thongs, one brand is synonymous with them, that brand is Joe Snyder. It has long had a loyal following in the world of men’s underwear. Their skimpy styles and bright colors are two things that really set this brand apart. They were also, I think, one of the first brands I noticed selling lace in the world of men’s underwear.

While Joe Snyder has never been one for creating massive lines, they focus on what they do the best. Bikinis and thongs! This includes just about every color in the rainbow. Where they lack in styles they more than makeup in the color department. Recent releases include the Pride Frame and Sock It collections build on the heritage of the brand!

If you get time go to the Joe Snyder site and read their “about” section. They have a very interesting story. Relaunching in 1991, they had a hard time reestablishing the brand, but they succeded and have become one of the top brands of thongs and bikinis in the world.

This year the weather has been insane. One minute it’s super cold the next unseasonably hot. Well, that has been the case in the ATL. Currently, we have almost 70-degree temps to be followed by 40-degree one’s next week. It makes me wonder how many of you guys change with the season? I know we have readers who are strictly thongs, bikinis or insert style. No matter what the temp is they are rocking their favorite.

Take me for instance. I don’t do seasonality. Usually, I’m a briefs guy. However, when it gets cold (below freezing), I will pick my underwear for the weather. It’s not uncommon to grab a pair of trunks or boxer briefs. I just want the extra bit of fabric for the warmth. The boxer briefs or trunks have great pouches. They feature Ergowear, Unico, Cocksox and such. Even when I go against the grain of my favorite pair I must have a pouch.

It’s got me curious how many of you guys wear something on cold days. It could be either for really cold days or during the winter (especially if you’re up north or in a really cold environment. And do you do the reverse in the warm months? I have worn long boxer briefs in summer and it was miserable.

I hope you will post in our poll below and we will post the results. We have gone back to Google Forms from our previous polling service. Their changes have increased issues with polls and tabulating them.
