Equmen

How did you come up with the idea for the Equmen Shirts?
We observed that there had been significant innovation in the sport and women’s market with products that had a true functional benefit, whether it be enhanced performance, health or a better-looking body. However, in men’s underwear, very few advances had been made and there existed an unmet need for functional, body and health improving garments that still appealed to men’s style sensibility.  Hence, we GL1developed products based on ergonomic insights that could help men look and feel their best, street to sport.

You mention on your site the health benefits, can you explain a bit  more to our readers?
One of the most important things anyone can do to feel their best is to have proper posture.  This ensures the body is in alignment, oxygen is circulating well and there is minimal pressure on the core area, particularly the back. However, it is difficult to ensure this happens every day.  By pulling the shoulders back and supporting the core, our shirt adjusts the body and serves built-in posture support. In addition, the compression stimulates circulation to keep things flowing while the fabric is temperature controlled, to ensure all day comfort.

You initially came out with the shirts, but now you have underwear,  can you tell us about your new line of underwear?
The underwear are based on the same principle, fusing athletic performance technologies with fashionable styling to deliver health and body longtrunk_blue_bigbenefits.  The designs are inspired by sprinter shorts, placing pressure on the gluteal fold to deliver posture and gait support, while streamlining and contouring at the same time.  The fabric is temp control to keep you cool.

On what waist sizes do these shirts truly have impact and, if it does  have one, what size change can be expected?
The shirts benefit men of all shapes and sizes.  As far as the slimming effect goes, there can be a waist reduction of up to 3 inches

Can it help the average Joe feel better about himself?
Everyman that puts one on instantly feels enhanced confidence.

Will color be added into the line at least in the underwear?
We already have our signature blue available and will introduce seasonal colors.

Any plans for the future?
We are continuing to innovate with new products that will fuse function and fashion to benefit men every day
