This marks 15th year anniversary of Pistol Pete. Peter and Sami of partners of 20 years left corporate jobs to start a men’s clothing line. They started with just shirts, then swim and athletic and underwear. Taking their knack of making swimwear more unique novelties and embellishments and applying to underwear.
This being 15-year anniversary Pistol Pete will be launching 15 city promo. Partnering with key stores to do giveaways, fashions shows and more. Magic was a huge success. This year they teamed up with Instinct Magazine to do a Swimwear Fashion show. The show showcased the best in swim from Pistol Pete for 2012. This will help them mark the biggest season ever.
Instead of recreating the wheel, they looked at what’s done well with fits and fabrics. transform new bodies such as singlets tanks and shorts into body-contoured sporty look and fit.
What has done well for them is Power mesh group, A comfortable stretchable soft mesh. Dressed up with sporty lines and racer style elastic band. Another area they have excelled in is Jocks. Everything from wrestler jocks, varsity with bright colors and lace ups and fetish jocks. Black/yellow, black/red and including studs.
Swimwear still doing very strong with novelty belted groups being released this year. These will include various hardware and buckles. New square cut length is going to be released that is a longer length to give a guy who likes board shorts an alternative.
Athletic wear is going to look good in the gym or out. They have tried to make the fabrics are true athletic fabrics, including dry fits and moisture wicking. The athletic will be something fun and fashionable.
The new collection features:
- Swimwear played up on a sexy sporty nautical theme.
- Underwear – Soft fabrics with just a tease of sheer have been great at the sale. Giving a little hit but not showing too much. With comfortable pouches.
- Active-wear – Looks great in our out of the gym.
