This week has been heavy on the swimwear. It’s time to start thinking about what you want to wear this summer at the beach or pool. One brand that is making really cool and fun swimwear is TenEleven. They have burst on the underwear/swimwear scene this past year and I think we will see a lot from them. They are really having fun with designing both!
One that really stuck out to me is the Skylar Jungle Swim Brief. They say this is using their Flamingo print. I don’t see any of them in this but I’m big on the Flamingo swimwear. Here are some things I really love about this pair:
The super fun jungle print
This is a bikini cut swim brief with small sides
The trim on the legs contrasts the green in the print and makes it pop
Has a contoured pouch
It’s just a fun design over all that will make people ask where did you get this suit when you wear it in public.
If you love this pair get it at Tenelevenmen.com and check out all the swim and underwear!
This week’s Baskit $12 Tuesday is the Baskit Body Art Brief. It’s not your typical brief, it has a unique print that is based on a tattoo. It’s been a staple in the Baskit line up and a must have pair! Remember the pair is only on sale till midnight.
Pair: Baskit Body Art Brief Color: As seen Fabric: 95% Cotton/5% Elastane Sizes: Small – X-Large Price: $12.00 today only $23 regular price
As I have said many times if you’re a lover of underwear you need to be in Instagram. I find so many new brands on the site than any others. One brand that has caught my eye is Matt McCall underwear. It’s a small and up and coming brand. But the look of the undies is what got my attention.
I am a big fan of the classic bikini. It’s a style I grew up on and love till this day. Matt McCall makes very classic bikinis in very classic colors. This reminds me of my days growing up with Jockey Elance and a few other brands. However, the looks are where that stops.
Unlike those bikinis this one has a bit more design. Those old bikinis had no pouch and were pretty simple. This pair features a double layered contoured front pouch. This will get some of your attention. Because pouches are super important to a lot of us!
Sizing is one thing I hope they add too soon. The current sizing is up to a large and 36-inch waist. If you’re a taller guy like me you may have a bigger waist due to height. Time will definitely stell.
You guys love deals and limited edition underwear. I had to remind you guys that Clever Moda has a collection of limited edition pairs of underwear. They range from boxer briefs/trunks to briefs. Sorry, no thongs or jocks as of yet.
The best thing is the price. When you say limited edition, it may seem like the price goes up with the exclusivity. However, the Clever pairs are $10 and up. Most are just over $12. Which by any standard is a freaking deal in underwear.
Go to the Clever Moda US site and check out all the pairs. Below is a sample of the pairs.
One of my favorite Instagramers is Ty Alexander. He’s a big fan of thongs and gear. I love this picture, he is wearing Skin Fit spandex gear! He’s also a wrestler for BG East, loves the Power Rangers. Follow him if you don’t !
There are two things that UNB readers love. The first is a swim bikini and the second is camo. One brand that has combined them is Addicted. They created these super fun and amazing camo bikinis. As, I have said many times, swimwear should be a lot of fun.
The Camo swim bikinis are more of a string bikini than a regular. The waistband is about an inch and that’s all that covers you on the side. You will get maximum exposure in this brief. Perfect for those guys who aren’t ready for a thong but want to show off a bit more.
One thing that should be mentioned is the fabric. Their site says it’s a thin material that feels like a second skin. The 80% polyamide & 20% elastane will feel great against your skin. Don’t worry this pair won’t fall down because the waistband has a drawstring you can tie.
We have a few more pictures from Garcon Model. This set features photog Karim Konrad with Garcon Model’s favorite model @bellmando sporting some classic white GM briefs.
Are you after a brand with an amazing pouch? Sukrew has one of the best pouches out there. It’s def in my top 10 of pouches. They always have really cool styles and colors of their underwear. One new one that caught my eye is the Eagle Brief.
This is what Sukrew says about the new pair:
With a striking branded waistband and enhancing fit, the Eagle Brief demands attention. SUKREW’s Full Pouch fits perfectly around your package, shaping and lifting for a consistently impressive bulge. Sensually soft and silky, while breathable, our polyamide-elastane fabric clings to your bum, gives ultimate comfort, and begs to be touched.
I like this pair because it looks like a “basic” pair. Basics are always good to have in your underwear drawer. Plus when it looks basic but fits like a designer pair it’s a win win!!!
Get the Eagle Brief at the Sukrew site.
Pair: Sukrew Eagle Brief Color: Black Fabric: 82% Polyamide, 18% Elastane (excluding trims) Sizes: Small – X-Large Price: $18.84
One brand that just entered the thong market is 4 Hunks. Their new thong is a thong’s tale! If you love thongs check out the newest style from 4 Hunks.
Gregg Homme is great at videos. One of their greatest hits is the “Business Strip.” It was an amazing video series. If you haven’t seen it check it out.
Do you remember our one and only Valentine’s Guide we shot? We had fun doing but was a shoot that more things went wrong than right! This picture features Cocksox.
Are you looking for an old school jock? One brand to look into is Timoteo’s Tight End Jockstrap. This jock has a classic waistband with the label in front. It also comes in multiple colors.
A piece of jockstrap trivia, the original “classic jocks” waistband stripes were different for each size. I heard this was for easy sorting by equipment managers.
This is what Timoteo says about the pair:
Combining the classic jockstrap look and detailing with today’s hottest colors & new fabrication. This is the NEW Cellblock13 Tight End Jockstrap. Built with a supportive woven mesh pouch and a sturdy elastic waistband, this rugged jock is the best-updated version of the traditional team sports jocks that livened up the locker rooms of days gone by.
Get the jock!!!
Pair: Timoteo Tight End Jock Color: Army, Black, Blue, Orange, Red, Yellow, or White Fabric: N/A Sizes: Small – X-Large Price: $24.00
Go for the Gold with Andrew Christian. This is Nick in the Golden Boy Track Jacket and Golden Boy Swim Shorts both in Gold, Get them at the Andrew Chirstian site.
I”m wondering if you guys have this same issue. When I pack to go on a trip, either work or vacation, I always pack about twice as many pairs of underwear than I would ever need. For example if i go out of town for 5 days I always pack 10-15 pairs of underwear because you never know!
When I start packing, I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t overpack as I used too. Back in the day, I would take way more than I would ever need. It was ridiculous. After a few trips with small carry-ons for a week trip. I learned how to pack with just enough. Now I add maybe one or two extra shirts but that’s about it.
Then we get to underwear; everything goes out the window. I try to pack pairs I love to wear. That leads to “oh I love this pair too.” and this one and this one. Well, I may want to wear this one too. By the time I’m done I have more undies than anything else. This kinda happens with swimwear but not as bad. I only pack 3-4 swim briefs.
An example, this trip to Magic/Project I was gone from Wednesday Night till Monday. This is for five days, but I had 12 pairs of underwear. I included underwear for cold, which Vegas was, and some just in case the weather warmed up. I also pack for activities and just in cases. Just in case I go out or for walking/cardio.
Who else does this? Do you over pack undies or everything? The only good thing is that undies take up very little space in a suitcase. Do any of your partners give you grief on packing?
I LOVE Ergowear. Their underwear has always been one of my favorites. They have just released the new Flamingo Fantasy line. This sounds a little funky but trust me it’s going to be AMAZING.
First thing to know about this line is it has the X3D pouch. My personally favorite pouch Ergowear makes. It’s ergonomically designed to fit a guy perfectly. Next is the fabric. This is what they say about it: “made using our ultra-soft, cotton-like Modal fabric, which is made from natural fibers, cellulose in this case (Viscose) and feature vibrant and sleek hues under the concept: Flamingo Fantasy, Part I.” I can’t wait to see part II
The line comes in three different styles and in three different colors. The colors are Dusk (pink flamingo), Olive, and Black. The styles are the Bikini, Thong and Mini Boxer. All three have an amazing fit. Yes, I LOVE the boxer briefs from Ergowear and highly recommend them.
It’s time for Baskit’s $12 Tuesday! This week X marks the spot. The X Trunk is on sale. It’s a line with an amazing pouch. Get the X Trunk at the Baskit site for just $12 till midnight.

I know so many guys out there love a great pouch. One brand to try with an amazing pouch is Sukrew. No matter the style you will love their pouch. Including the boxer brief.
The gear was furnished by LED Queens. The review are my own and not influenced by LED Queens.
Rating: 9.5/10
Daily Fit: 8/10
Sizing: 10/10
Construction: 10/10
Styling: 10/10
Daily Performance: 10/10
Pros: Vivid colors, great design and build quality, great compression and shape.
Cons: Pretty tight ankle so they can be difficult to put on sometimes. The crotch sagged slightly but I probably just needed a bigger pair so I could pull them up a little more. Sizing is a challenge.
UNB Jacob recommendation: I love the brand because it is LGBT-owned, and adore the product. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for mens tights but would be hesitant to recommend these to anyone on the thicker side.
As a personal trainer, I’m in the gym every single day, so being able to mix up my gym apparel and get away from my usual gym shorts and tank has been great. I’ve been looking forward to reviewing this brand for a while because they really are gorgeous products made by a queer-owned fitness brand. I received the LED Queens Rocket Compression Tights to review, their first compression product that uses a unique nylon/spandex blend to provide a high shine appearance.
The Rocket compression tight is just as “freeing” as most tights, while efficiently wicking away body heat. I mostly used them to workout in and on leg day they’re pretty flattering with a leg/butt pump. I wore them under shorts while I wasn’t at the gym and still received a lot of compliments on the really pretty stripe along the side.
The quality of construction and design is outstanding; comparable to Nike and Lululemon pairs that I’ve worn before. They don’t chafe and the stitching is strong and durable. The colorsand overall quality of the fabric is also something I love about the pair as they’re very vivid and shiny.
Overall LED Queens does really well with sizing and fit; this specific pair can be difficult to size though. The legs are pretty slim and while I don’t have particularly big legs, the size I would order based off of my waist size (28”, so small) would not come close to fitting because I almost need a large. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, just something to be aware of when ordering.
Overall I love the brand because it is LGBT-owned, and adore the product. I would highly recommend the for anyone looking for mens tights, but would be hesitant to recommend these to anyone on the thicker side.
