If you’ve been on social media lately and follow underwear lovers, chances are you’ve seen the buzz around Wear Tightys. The brand, known for its bold take on the classic tighty-whities, is back with a second collection that promises both nostalgia and innovation. On a recent episode of the Brief Talk Podcast, host UNB Tim caught up with Jock, the creator of Wear Tightys, to talk about what’s new, what’s next, and why these briefs are about to take over your drawer.

Classic Fly, Modern Fit

One of the biggest requests from fans of Wear Tightys was a traditional fly front. And Jock delivered. “People wanted it, and I just wanted to do something a little different,” he says. This collection mixes a vintage aesthetic with modern materials for a snug, soft, and supportive fit. Think: cotton, bamboo, and spandex—all the comfort, none of the sag.

“The fabric is amazing,” Jock said. “Tight, but not restrictive. They hug the body, highlight the assets, and just feel good.”

Waistband Love: Bold or Subtle?

Jock also introduced two distinct waistband designs. The first features a bold “TIGHTY WHITIES” graphic, a callback to classic athletic brands. The second is a minimalist “TW,” a nod to iconic brands like Fruit of the Loom. Whether you want to make a statement or keep it low-key, there’s a waistband for you.

UNB Tim even noted how hard it is to find good white briefs nowadays: “I was looking at Calvin Klein and 2(X)IST… and didn’t see the classic white with a fly. Then you come out with this. It’s perfect timing.”

Introducing a Multi-Pack (Yes, Finally!)

A first for the brand—this drop includes a multi-pack. Inside, fans will get both new waistband designs plus a bonus: the red brief from the original collection. Better yet, the multi-pack includes a discount and free shipping.

“This is the first time I’m doing a three-pack,” Jock explained. “I think people will love getting a little of everything.”

Expanded Sizing and Inclusivity

In response to customer feedback, Wear Tightys now goes up to 3XL. “I had people asking about XL and above after the first drop, so this time I’ve doubled the XL stock and added 2XL and 3XL,” Jock said. Quantities are limited for larger sizes, so he encourages fans to act fast.

UNB Tim praised the move: “When I was a bigger guy, it was so frustrating to find gear I liked that actually came in my size. It’s great you’re offering that now.”

What’s Next: Bikinis, Thongs, and More

While Jock is best known for his white briefs (and wedgies, of course), he’s planning to branch out. “My aesthetic is definitely smaller undies. I don’t wear boxer briefs. I love bikinis and thongs,” he said.

A bikini brief prototype already exists, featuring the same bold waistband design as the tighty-whities—but fans will have to wait a bit longer. “It fits amazing,” Jock teased, “but I want to make sure it launches at the right time.”

He’s even asking fans to help choose the name on the waistband. “Should it say ‘Bikini Boy’? ‘Bikini Bottom’? Something fun. I’m taking suggestions!”

Merch Drop: A Classic Logo Tee

Also in the works is a new logo t-shirt featuring the updated Wear Tightys branding. “It’s a little more classic, more of a brand look than my usual cheeky tees,” Jock said. “But it still makes a statement—and it’s a great way to rep the brand out and about.”

Community Connection

As always, Jock is all about connecting with the community. “I’m a one-man operation, and every DM, every post I see with someone wearing my undies—it means the world,” he shared. “The more people engage, the better future collections will be.”

UNB Tim added, “Don’t be shy. Reach out. We both answer our messages. If you love the undies, tell him!”
