In ancient Greece people believed that you have to care for the 3 most important self the Body, the Mind and the Soul. What are your daily habits to support and evolve yourself?

I think there is a connection between the three of them, when you take care of your mind automatically you will have a healthy body and of course a heathy soul. Me I’m trying every day to stay positive and take everything as a new experience… The rest just manifests.

Do you believe people can change? Change their habits, physical appearance … what it takes?

I think all of us we have an essence, and this is going to be with us forever, of course all of us can change whenever we want, but in my opinion, to change, first you have to change your thoughts.

What’s your favorite person of all times? Why he/she inspires you?

My father, he is an amazing person first of all, he had teach me how to deal with everything on life, he was an amazing dancer, an amazing master and an amazing choreographer, he is the proof for me that when you really work for something, you really achieve this something.

Is family important to you? Do you spend time with them?

For me is super important, I try as much as I can to stay close to them somehow.

Any causes you support? How people can help others?

I love dogs, well, animals in general, so I try to collaborate whenever I can with people who take animals from the streets and shelter them. I think people can help each other respecting, we need to find pleasure in the action of helping someone else.

Have you changed your daily habits to support the environment?

I’m trying not to buy unnecessary things, we are living on the overexploitation of our planet, and we don’t have a second one, I’m trying to take consciousness of this every day.

Are you currently in a relationship? What do you value in a person?

The important thing when you are in a relationship is the way you see and live the life on the side of this person.

Favorite movies, books or music?

There is a book that I loved called Momo, talks about time, I can’t say I love one kind of music, I really love music in general, so when I like a song, can be classical, techno, flamenco, rock, reggae… I’m a huge fan of superheroes movies in general!

What do you do to stay connected with others?

Meeting whenever they are close to you as much as you can, if not, we have infinity technology that that we can use.

What dancing gives to you as a person? Is it a tool to self-explore, express?

Many times dancing was therapy for me … The perfect chance to express all things you cannot express with words.

How covid19 did change you? Daily life, life perspective, priorities …

The virus changed the way we live … For me, it is the perfect chance to give the importance to the things that they really are.

Who’s ready for My Soxtober? Cocksox is doing the yearly contest this year but with a slight tweek, first, the name is MySoxtober, and now you can submit pictures anonymously.

Here is what Cocksox told us about the annual Event:

Ever since we created the original #Soxtober we always had the name change in the back of our minds. First of all, the #Soxtober hashtag clashed with a baseball team whose fans used it when they made it to the finals. Overall it seemed like we still got enough traction (and as we liked to point out to any baseball fans who took us on, at least we could guarantee being there in October!), but some clearer air for the contest couldn’t be a bad thing.

In the end we decided we wanted the contest to take on a new form, and we really wanted to hand ownership of it to our fans. We really appreciated all the entries we had over the previous years, but over time we felt like it was becoming too focussed on selfies – and by extension, body image.

Our original intention was to show our wider audience that all types of men wear Cocksox. But maybe there was a bit of a barrier to some who felt uneasy about putting themselves out there on social media, especially if they did not usually post this type of content on their personal profiles. And as much as promoting body positivity and confidence is really important to us, we also respect that it just might not be something that everyone wants to do.

So we decided to that #MySoxtober should become a time to celebrate what Cocksox means to everyone in their own way, and it is about your own Cocksox story. We’ve made it easier to enter the contest anonymously, and we’ve also made it clear that you don’t need to even feature yourself in the entry. It can be a pic of your collection, a story or memory of when Cocksox played a part in making your day a bit better, or maybe a video review of your favourite pairs.

How to enter #MySoxtober

#MySoxtober is more than just a selfie contest, the theme this year is all about sharing your Cocksox story. Use pictures and video to show and tell your stories and memories of a time when Cocksox made a difference to your day.

Of course, a great selfie is still an awesome way to show your favourite underwear and swimwear, and we’ve loved the incredibly creative entries we’ve seen over the previous years. And it wouldn’t be the 2020 edition without working from home playing a part too.

Post your #MySoxtober entries from now until October 31st, just follow these simple steps to enter the contest:-Post your selfie, picture, video, story or anything else about your Cocksox to InstagramTwitter or Facebook.Make sure you tag our official profile (see links above)Include the hashtag #MySoxtober in the caption of your post

If you listen to the Podcast, it’s no secret that UNB is 12 TODAY! I have only mentioned it 1,000 times! It’s one of those things I mention and go, “Oh no, don’t say it, shut up, oh, you said it.” But it’s been a wild ride over the 12 years.

I have suffered more burn out and inspiration than anything else I have done. But somehow, I get motivated and keep doing the blog. I have a lot of fun doing and in the last five years, have made some fantastic friends. I have pivoted the site and tried to make it more personal to know the guys who write on the blog and me.

THE FUTURE

So here are some things going forward in our next 12 years you can look forward too.

The Podcast you may think is a new addition to the site. We started it in 2009, and it ended in 2012 (February, I believe). It was always in my mind to start it back up. In 2018, I met Andy and Erik, two of my favorite people in the undies social media world, and we started doing semi-regular shows. But it wasn’t till early 2020 that we got the right mix in guys and a lot of inspiration that it has taken off. We talk about real topics, and it’s not just. Oh, that’s hot. We are being open and honest and let you guys listen in. We have added shows like the thong show, Brief Tale, and Barely Brief. I hope we keep it fresh and fun for you guys.

One thing I have missed a lot is out own shoots. We used to do them two times a year. In May for swimwear and November (and sometimes December) for Holidays. These ended in 2018, not because we didn’t love doing them, but we ran out of sponsors. I didn’t want that to stop me, and I tried to revive them in 2020. Well, you know how 2020 has gone, a giant train wreck. I’m hoping to do a swimwear shoot in 2021. My fingers are crossed. I want to do three shoots a year—Valentine, Swimwear, and Holiday. I’m debating doing a yearly work outshoot as well. These are my plans, and I hope to make it a reality next year.

Now I have to recruit a bunch of new guys to be our models. In the last few years, most of them have stopped doing modeling for underwear. This sucks cause we had some fantastic guys that were so easy to work with, but we will get more real guys and bigger guys for the shoots we do as well. So we are working on a lot behind the scenes; it just takes MONEY!!! $$$$

I’m pleased to announce we will have some new video reviewers. And that happened out of the blue! We have three guys that will be gracing your screens very soon with some fantastic undies. I’m happy we are getting back into videos and want to do some underwear related videos on top of these but again, COVID sucks. The video reviews have been popular, and I’m glad they are back!

THE PAST

This year I have been digging up old hard drives and sorting pictures (which I should have done back in the day) and remembering all the brands that I have worked with over the years. Some brands have gone out of business, sold to new owners, and some, and many of them are still going strong. Some brands, I miss them and wonder what happened to some of the owners. Those include DMK Designs, Skimpeez, Iqoniq, and Marc Ouest. These were brands that were prominent on the blog in the early years. Dianne, from DMK, was one of our first podcasts in 2009.

I also remember going to Vegas for Magic/Curve and having so much fun. Back in the day, they had 40 brands at each Show. It was two full days of meeting and greeting brands. We also did a meet and greeted the first night of Magic at the Luxor. It was time for people to be social. The meet and greet were open to all brands and buyers at the Show. Sometimes there were five people, and other times we have 25 or more. One of my best memories was one of the first ones in the Mandalay Bay, Andrew from N2N Bodywear came and talked and talked, and after midnight, we went to McDonald’s at the Luxor (because it was open 24 hours). This was also when I met Scott, formerly of the Clone Zone, in the UK, and we had too many adventures. After this night, Andrew has been one of my favorite people.

I don’t know if brands will return after COVID to Magic/Project. The last ill-fated trip I took was about six brands at the Show, so instead of 2 days of constant on the go, I went late and left early. Time will tell if brands return.

THE PRESENT

Right now, I’m sort of in a rebuilding mode. We have gone from 6-8 writers at a time to pretty much just me doing the blog. Over the years, UNB has been my main gig due to the economy, and other times it’s been supplemental. Right now is in between. I started the UNB Store because I saw the business model for UNB not going to be sustained much longer. The store has been open in the year it has grown, and I wish I would have done it many years before.

The Podcast has far exceeded what I thought it would do. The Podcast has always been fun for me, but It’s teaching me many new skills and has caused me to think outside of the box a lot of times. We have some fantastic shows, and the feedback we have gotten is excellent. You guys like what we are doing. So thank you all for giving us feedback.

Lastly, I want to thank all of you who have read and listened to us over the years. We have had some amazing guys write, do reviews (videos and written), models, and photogs. UNB is always in a state of change and if you would have told me in Oct 2008 that I would still be doing this and it would have evolved the way it has, I would have thought you were crazy. Thanks again, guys.

One thing we have done consistently in the last 12 years is to support the Baskit $12 Tuesday. Ironic it’s 12 years and $12 Tuesday! We love Baskit and have worked with them from the beginning of the blog (if not the beginning at the very early on in the blog).

In fact, it’s the Baskit Just /b/ brief that got removed from YouTube because it violated their TOS. But, you can see it on our Vimeo. Minus the 750,000 views it gained before being banned.

This week the pair on sale is the Bask Brief. Check out this amazing pair and remember it’s on sale for $12 today only.

If you are a long time fan of Garcon, formerly Garcon Model, they have released their very first thong! The thong is becoming more and more popular for all guys. It’s great to see Garcon release theirs!

The new thong comes in four different colors, Miramar (black), Ocean (pink), Lincoln (green), and Espanola (yellow). Each thong has a matching Garcon waistband except the pink which has a contrasting blue waistband.

One big bonus for this pair is it’s tagless! One of the biggest gripes that guys have for underwear is not an issue with this pair. Which is awesome and amazing!

Check out the new thongs at the Garcon site!

PAIR: Garcon Thong
COLORS: Miramar (black), Ocean (pink), Lincoln (green), and Espanola (yellow).
FABRIC: 82 % Nylon /18 % Elastane
SIZES: Small – X-Large
PRICE: $29.00

N2N Bodywear is back at it with a skimpy but fun new pair! N2N just released the new P-Town Bikini, which is one of the smallest and skimpiest bikinis I have seen from the brand and that’s saying something.

Here is what N2N says “Summer may be over but the lingering memories of P-Town will go on… This adorable nautical-themed LOW RISE bikini has just enough stretch to cover yer bits…front and back”.

Remember most things from N2N will sell out quick, I”m writing this on Sunday night and by the time it comes out Monday sizes could be gone so don’t delay if you want this pair:

PAIR: N2N Bodywear P-Town Bikini
COLORS: As Seen
FABRIC: 80% Polyester 20% Spandex
SIZES: Small – X-Large
COST: $24.00

I am trying out as many masks as I can for you guys. As we know this pandemic isn’t ending anytime soon and masks will be around for the foreseeable future. I will admit that there are some masks I like and others I hate. They do drive me crazy at times but, I have always worn them out and around others. I understand the importance of them and I’ve had one health scare this year and DON’T want another. I know many of you feel this way but we have to wear them to protect us and others. Ok, off my soapbox.

I received several masks from Andrew Christian. First, the masks are super fun and you will show your pride with them. There is even one with an LED letter board across it. Due to price, I didn’t request this one but I loved it. So much fun and think about what you can put on the scene, like “Wear your damn mask”!

I received 4 regular and one outdoor dining mask. The regular masks I wasn’t sure how they would fit, but once putting them on, I loved the fit. The material felt great against my face and color me impressed with them! Not only will you look awesome but you will be super comfy wearing them.

I know some of you don’t want to express yourself in every day with some of these masks but they are perfect for going out to a club (yes there are some open). Many in our gay community aren’t wearing masks when going out, any of the AC masks will be perfect for going out.

My personal favorite the Rainbow Unicorn mask! It’s just so much fun to me! It’s amazing and you get some looks while out, some times it’s a smile and other times they roll their eyes. But F* those people.

The last mask is outdoor dining. It has a hole for a straw. I wasn’t sure how this would work but it’s great for drinking outdoors. I would make sure you have another mask to put on after drinking. I mean there is a hole in the mask and not great for just walking around or non-drinking. As the picture says Safer outdoor dining.

Go to the Andrew Christian site for all the masks and they get new ones all the time!
