Earlier this week we brought you the new print by C-IN2. Now we bring you the Undertone. This is a line I missed earlier this year. It’s a new fabric that is made out of two different color threads. As the site says, “An innovative technique of plating fuses two colors of cotton yarns to create this exceptional line of C-IN2 underwear. If you can read between the lines undertone gives the ability to wear two colors at once.”
The line is made up of the following styles: Jock, Lo Rise Profile Brief, Profile Brief, and Amry Trunk. Made out of 100% Cotton and come in three colors. The colors are Peacock Green, E Train Blue, and Hanky Panky Pink. Top that off with the matching branded waistband. Making it a great and solid pair.
This line could very much be on the classic end of the spectrum. It’s very classic cuts but the colors are not so classic. It can be said it’s a new take on the classic. The fabric is one I am loving. Glad to see more and more companies taking risks and trying new things in men’s underwear!

Are you looking for a great pair of underwear to work out in or wear at an active job? The updated Ultra Sports Brief from Timoteo is the pair for you. This pair is designed to give you the things you want out of a sports brief. Those properties are great stretch & recovery, quick dry and wicking properties. All much needed
The line is updated in colors. The current colors are sky blue, royal blue, and Army (green). The contrast colors Timoteo used really makes a great looking pair of underwear. The fabric is 90% Polyamide 10% Elastane making it perfect to accomplish all the properties above. It was made, as I said for working out. Nothing worse than underwear that doesn’t wick moisture during a workout. Top that with a waistband and it’s almost perfect.
Speaking of the waistband, it’s one of the more simple ones Timoteo has created. It has the Timoteo name on the front and a line that goes around the back and attaches to the other side of the name. It’s more of a classic band. I don’t think many will mind this band.
The design of the pair is where Timoteo shines. He really does a great job at creating a contrast. In each pair, the stitching is in a different contrasting color. My personal favorite is the sky blue with an orange contrasting stitching. It makes it pop. The Navy has a more subtle, with a baby blue color. All are great combinations! Definitely worth checking out.
Lastly, is the pouch. The pouch is a contoured pouch with a center seam. This is a very functional pouch. It won’t have “enhancing” properties. It’s designed for sports and working out. So keep that in mind when shopping.

- Suitable for all occasions, shapes and sizes.

- If a guy usually wears non-classic underwear, I don’t see a reason for them to own or wear classic pairs.
- Always nice to have a few pairs of classics for the gym or work.
- Functional. There are days when it’s just what you need.
- They are hot
- I guess it all depends on your age and body form. Personally I feel the classic styles are more comfortable for those of us who are a little overweight. I am not an exhibitionist and if I bend down it doesn’t bother me if someone see a Calvin or Emporeo waist band
- You just need classics around to remind you of the old times
- I think a good classic pair sets a tone to your day if you have something more reserved/conservative in your schedule. I also think it resets your brain a bit so when you wear your more daring underwear it’s more special.
- I think that almost ally styles of underwear have their place and occasional function. Like a boy scout, you should be prepared.
- Because it makes a man very sexy too
- There are times when you just need to step into something simple! Only classic underwear often has a pouch problem (as in not having a good pouch, period).
Those who don’t think so:
- I don’t see the need unless the guy wants them for some reason. Wear what style you want all the time. Don’t change it up for certain situations.
- It´s so boring
- I don’t really see the point for classic underwear unless that’s what you’re into which is absolutely fine. If you like bikinis or thongs they can be your classic go to underwear if you like them. I think that’s also how you can change skimpier styles as becoming more accepted
- So uncomfortable
- There are so many better options out there really nowadays…comfort, style, individual expression, pattern, color, proper pouches (how we ever lived without them before is a mystery), variety…

Not all underwear companies are centered around the US. There are some awesome underwear companies the world over. One such company is Tynell Underwear. I saw them on Instagram and loved the prints they were doing. I discovered they are located in South Africa. We will have a more in-depth interview with them but I wanted to share this overview with you guys first!
