Running an underwear blog I get asked my opinion all the time about underwear. This can be people on social media or friends. Most of the time they are asking about what they should start on or what briefs/thongs they should wear. Very few talk jocks to me. This got me thinking I should share one of my favorite jocks of all time.
The Cocksox CX21 Jockstrap is probably one of my favorite jocks of all time. The first reason is the amazing Cocksox pouch. The support it gives is amazing and yeah it shows off a little. Regardless of sexual orientation, we want our underwear to show off our manhood. Next is the design. It has a regular waistband with smaller leg straps. The bonus to me about the leg straps is that they don’t get as twisted throughout the day like the bigger ones can. There is nothing worse than a twisted leg strap on a jock throughout the day.
You may be asking if you can wear these to be active in. After all, jocks are made for working out and sports. My answer is yes you can wear this. It can be worn at the gym, playing sports or running. I have worn this to play softball at one time. I couldn’t find my UA jock and wore this one. It performed amazingly. In fact, I wore it a few time that year. It didn’t fit well with a cup. Yes, I tried it. Now if you wore compression shorts over it would work. But that was too damn bulky for me. I prefer just a jock when I played softball.
The very last thing is the fabric. It feels great against the skin and breathing. This is a fashion jock, not really designed for performance, but it did pretty well for me. I would recommend it to anyone needing a jock to wear for any occasion. It’s amazing to put it short
It appears they maybe refreshing the Jocks (or that’s my hope) you can get the Metalic jock, the CX21MT in gold/black or silver/white. The CX21N is on “Last chance.” But I give this a big thumbs up and a must for guys.

Looking for something on the wild side? One brand we love at UNB is Maskulo! They are an amazing brand out of Russia that creates great fetishwear!
2EROS has released a new series called Erebus. Which is one of the coolest lines they have produced. Each collection 2EROS seems to keep building on design and making better and better underwear. This line continues the 2EROS design dynasty.Erebus is inspired by the Greek god of darkness and shadow. It is designed with beautifully constructed panelling combined with deep colours to evoke your dark side. It is designed to perform all day with premium sweat wicking tactel fabric to keep you cool and sweat free for longer. Wear something bright and fun this summer. One brand you need to check out is Aronik. They have some amazing prints and solid colors this season.

Looking for something different for the beach? Why not try something metallic, such as the Tribe Ibiza swimwear. It’s a set of three metallic fabrics in a swim brief. When I first saw this pair in person it’s super sexy. You may be going, “WHOA, metallic isn’t that over the top?” This isn’t a silver or gold lame. It’s more of a brushed metallic over bright and shiny.
Why is this the Swimwear Sunday?
It’s different! Who wants to just wear a simple black brief to the beach and that’s it. You should have several pairs of swimwear each season. You need some classic and some super fun. If you get invited to a pool party, be the one standing out in gold or silver (Yes, they have black but not your typical black).
Tribe has been a band we have covered over the years. I remember one of our first swimwear guides they participated in, and they have grown over the years. Now they are getting back to basics but also trying some new things. I think they are one of the most underrated swimwear companies on the market right now. They currently have about 45 pairs of swimwear!
The Ibiza is just a lot of fun. The metallics are not one you would normally see in swimwear. It’s not over the top but more classic and fun. These are made to wear everyday wear to the beach. If you did a gold/silver lame it’s not about wearing often, it really doesn’t have stretch. We chose the low rise brief, but they have a boy brief (cut bigger) and a trunk. I think most UNB Guys will want the low rise.
The pair is made out of 100% polyester and lined in the front. It’s as they say on the website, designed to grab attention. This will get you plenty of attention. It’s available in black, gold and silver. We hope you will check Tribe out!
Aronik used to be known at the swim wear company. Over the last year or so they have gone in big with the fitness market. They started with runners then moved to shirts/jackets. We look forward to seeing where this goes!

Looking for something new and fun? Make sure you check out the Baskit X Brief. It’s designed to give you some amazing support and look pretty hot while doing it.
There was a time when men’s underwear were for men and women’s underwear was for women. The two were designed differently and very few things were used in each design. Over the last few years, we have seen a big shift in the design of men’s underwear. Fabrics and designs that were considered feminine were now being used in the creation of underwear. Now the lines just seem to blur.
The fabric is the biggest change in men’s underwear. It was only cotton, nylon and spandex blends for the longest time. Every so often you would see a silk boxer or maybe bikini. Then we got brands using lace and satin to create men’s underwear. These were two fabrics for women’s lingerie, not masculine men’s underwear.
Brands such as MaleBasics and BodyAware lead the way in this revolution. They weren’t afraid to reimagine men’s underwear. Giving it a bit of a “softer” side. MaleBasics was the first I saw doing a men’s lingerie brand. They were inspired by the women’s world. I found it really interesting that they were doing something outside the box. This was in 2010ish. They were way ahead on the trend that I would say didn’t really come to the forefront till about 2012-2013
BodyAware is one that I think took the trend and ran with it. They have a mix of what you would call masculine and feminine. At first, I looked at them and through they would be a niche player but in the last few years, I hear more and more guys talk about how they love BodyAware. From experience, they make damn good underwear. It’s sexy and fun, exactly what men’s underwear should be.
Who are the guys embracing this underwear? It’s not along sexual orientation lines. It’s as diverse as our readers. It’s gay/straight/bi guys who make up the fans. Guys that want to feel sexy and really don’t give a fuck about what you think of their underwear. Plus I think the mixing of the masculine and feminine is pretty darn sexy. It’s the two things being mixed together that is awesome. But this is an area that you either love or hate. There isn’t many in between.
Underwear is about being who you are. You can wear what you want and no one has to know. If you want to sport a lace brief under a suit, DO IT! Or if you want to wear a bikini to class in cargo shorts, do it! Underwear is about expressing your personality. Wear what you want! If you love lace or satin, rock them with confidence!
The picture featured is the awesome Eminence Tanga from BodyAware.

We have a few reviews coming up for Garcon Model. Some surprises as well. You’ll just have to wait and see what it is. They sent us this pic to share with you guys it features Brad Baldwin captured by photographer Lagaret

This is a Throwback Thursday featuring the 2016 Swim Guide. It featured Drew and Matt! Do you remember the guide?

Thong swimwear is taking off big, well with UNB readers. More and more guys are wanting to wear them and it’s been leaning towards our straight readers. Yup, straight guys are the biggest proponent of swim thongs. We had a JOR swim thong, in our Swim Guide. This was the first time we ever had one. JOR has always made them and you need to check out all their pairs!
It’s spandex day here on UNB. Well, unofficially, because I said so! One spandex item I really love is singlets. I probably have 15-20 singlets in my collection. Some are “official wrestling” ones and others are better termed “erotic.” Which can be a lot of fun. But, one new one I found was from Barcode Berline.
Barcode Berline is better known for their fetish wear. Sometimes over the top and other times just super sexy. I saw this singlet on another site and it caught my eye. The great colors and color block pattern just pops. It’s everything I love about a singlet. Those are a bright color and interesting pattern/design. Yeah, you can do a solid color but why not turn it up and do something amazing.
The official name is the Singlet Luckenwalde. The Barcode Berline site says the singlet was designed for professional wrestlers. That’s exactly what came to mind! They are cut and look like something you may see in Olympic wrestling matches or possibly college matches.
Made out of an 80% polyamide, 20 % elastane blend. Also available in 4 different color combinations. Petrol, Yellow, and White. Black, White, and Red. White Red, and Black. Lastly, White, Red and Petrol. My favorite is the last combination. But any of them I wouldn’t turn down.
If you have never worn a singlet I can hear what some of you are thinking. “Where would I wear this? Well, They are great to work out in and put a pair of shorts over. It’s a tank that won’t become untucked. Wear with jeans for a night out. This is an option but just note that going to the bathroom isn’t easy. Lounging around the house is another great option. They are super comfy that can be worn with or without underwear. You could possibly use it for it’s intended purpose, wrestling. Or for fun (take that any way you wish)
This singlet retails for 65 Euros on the Barcode Berlin site.

We loved shooting the UNB Swimwear Guide. It was a lot o f fun. One brand that is a lot of fun is Cocksox! It’s traditionally known for the pouch but you can also show off the back! Martin is wearing the CX02 Brief in Purple Haze.

Remember it’s only on sale today until midnight! Don’t miss out on a great pair at a great price.

JOR is known for their amazing prints. Their swimwear is some of the most creative on the market. We were so glad they were in the UNB Swimwear Guide for 2017. This is Chandler in the Amazonia Swim brief. It’s one that is perfect for all day at the beach. Photo by Taylor Campbell.
