It’s Thong Thursday! If you are a fan of the style today is the day for you! This is a picture from RSH Photography. We have had many discussions over the years at UNB that a lot of times you never see the back of the thong. In the shoot he just did Ross showed the back of a guy in thong! The model is Trevor!

We are bringing you a bit of fetishwear in your Jockstrap Wednesday! The new Cellblock 13 X-Wing Jock is, well to me, super hot. This is not a traditional jock. There is no waistband! As you can see by the pictures it has a harness that holds up the jock. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for a work pair. It’s more of a fun pair for a weekend or similar.
Cellblock says it is the sexiest jock they have ever created. I totally agree. It can also only be worn with a harness. You can use your own or get the X-Wing Harness that pairs up with the jock perfectly. You maybe thinking, “oh I can wear it solo.” Think again, as I said it has no waistband and more than likely won’t stay up. Its designed with a harness in mind.
The jock itself is made out of neoprene. Which has been becoming a hot fabric in the world of fetishwear and also underwear. Its easier to work with, care for and produce gear with the fabric. As we have said other fetish materials take some special care. It’s not recommended to wash this pair but hand/spot clean and hang dry.
There are three colors of the jock and harness. They are Red, Blue and Grey. You can pair it with the same color or mix and match as you please. Who said you have to be matchy matchy? This pair is all about fun. Where would you wear this? I would say to a bar night with jeans over it. Also, to any leather event you would like. I saw a lot of non leather harnesses in pictures from IML this past year.
There is something about this pair that I just love! It’s really a hot jock to me. If you’re looking for something for a fun night Jock, this is it!

As Cocksox celebrates their 10 years in the industry. We wanted to look back at some of the pics they have produced. This is Sandor Earl, a Rugby Star, that modeled for them. He’s wearing the CX02 swimwear. They have had some really iconic pictures over the last few years!
I was told about this pair last February in Vegas. I had a vision of this pair and what would be on it. My vision was a red pair with white writing. This is because the first pair I wanted was the red CX01. Now, the pair is out and its pretty awesome. A lot better than I had thought it would be!
The official description is: “Cocksox is ten! Celebrate this special birthday with us in our legendary CX01 Underwear Brief featuring a striking print of Cocksox slogans, brands and tags. This is where it all began for Cocksox – the CX01 is also celebrating its 10th birthday! By wearing these briefs you literally become part of our story – wear them with pride!”
Over the years the pair and brand have been described by many words. They took these words and slogans they have used and created this one of a kind print. Some of the words are “revolutionary”, “Australia” and “Est. 2006”. The print is called Decadence. I definitely will be getting one of these pairs! It also will be one I will buy!
This week they are celebrating the 10 years. We will have a few fun things for you guys as well! Don’t worry the new print is also available in Thong, Bikini, Sports Brief and Boxer. This means its more than likely available in your favorite style. However, since the CX01 Brief (I know I call it the bikini) is my personal favorite. Each is made out of the classic 95% Cotton 5% Spandex. This blend and construction is made to hold up very well over the years.
These went on Sale on Sunday and will be around for a limited time. Don’t miss out on this amazing pair. Once they are gone, they will be gone for ever.

It’s hard to believe that Cocksox has been around 10 years! This week marks their anniversary. We at UNB have to say it couldn’t happen to a nicer brand. I have a long history with the brand. They are in my top 5 pouches of all time. Also, they have been amazing friends to UNB over the years.
In the world of underwear, being around 10 years is an amazing accomplishment. I occasionally look through old pictures and lists. There are more brands that are not around when UNB started. Than there are currently in business. When they came on the scene in 2006. I UNB was still a dream for me. I wrote for another underwear blog, that has since folded, and got my first pair of CX01 bikinis. It blew my mind. The pouch was the most amazing thing ever.
Over the next 10 years, they would branch out into more than the amazing CX01 Bikini. Over the last few years we have seen so much creativity from Cocksox. My personal favorites have been the fuschia cxo1 and the Leopard Jockstrap. But really my list could go on and on. I have tried every style they have in underwear. Each of them fit great.
Let’s talk about that pouch. It still amazes me 10 years later that they have such an amazing pouch. There are no straps, contraptions or tricks to it. Its a natural fitting pouch that shows off everything you have. The first time I put them on I felt like the pouch was made just for me. Almost like it was a custom pair of underwear! Over the years they have refined the pouch, such as the CSX line. It was made not to have such an enhancing effect.
The future holds some great things for Cocksox. I think we will see them do even more amazing things. They have matured as a brand and still sticks close to it’s roots. They have said they have some great things planned for this year. I can’t wait to see them! Go celebrate and put on your CX01 bikinis!
We hope you are enjoying summer and rocking some great swimwear. There are still a few months left to Summer and if you haven’t bought your swimwear. Or if you just want some new pairs that people haven’t seen. The BCNU Utilty Wear Hero line maybe what you’re looking for in swimwear. BCNU is out of Australia and is a pretty cool company. They started in work out wear and last year brought out the first swimwear line. Now they have the Hero line.
I had the chance to talk to BCNU this past week. They have some great gear out there and I think we will see a lot more from them. The latest line is the Hero line. The Hero line has used the latest technology to make something pretty awesome. BCNU invested time and effort into meeting what their research showed.
Research indicates that 60% of Australian men do not feel comfortable wearing traditional swimwear. Most citing that the thin fabrics used, lack of reasonable hold and show through especially when coming out of the water, are the main reasons they would not wear traditional swimwear styles.
While we have plenty of guys who like to show off. If you’re new to swim briefs or want to wear them in a more family friendly area. Its important that you don’t show off everything. You don’t want to have the fabric go see through or not have support. But, you still want to look great in the swimwear. BCNU put in a lot of time and effort to create this new line. I”m seriously impressed by all the technology used in this line. We are starting to see more companies taking the technology of swimwear and underwear seriously.
So what makes this line so awesome? Here are few reasons BCNU told us
- No more show through – constructed using 2 fabrics and over 7 months of design research and planning to create the perfect style to wrap around your body like a glove keeping your manhood nice and snug.
- Fast drying technology – Designed so that water passes through the first layer directly into the second layer which funnels out the water rapidly once you’re out of the water.
- SPF 100+ – Highest protection than any other swim product on the market today
- Cutting edge technology – using revolutionary Two Tone Double Layer Polyamide (2TDLP) construction and bonded using glue used in NASA spacesuits
- The advertising campaign imagery is inspired by Super Heroes. We hope this collection makes him feel heroic, invincible, daring and courageous.
Again, it’s great to see a company using some of the latest technology to make really great swimwear. The Hero line is one that is perfect starter pair for someone wanting to wear a swim brief. It will not show off or be see through. It’s fast drying and uses the latest technology in fabric and design. Lastly it will make you feel like a super hero!
The Narrow Line came out this past week from Modus Vivendi. The line has some great color combinations such as this Narrow brief in Fuchsia.

The signature stamped “made in Barcelona” brand which is today present on five continents has closed Barcelona’s fashion week in one of the most anticipated events with its fashion show on the exclusive space One Ocean Port Vell on the quay.
For the occasion, ES Collection carried out a special casting based on the highest international standards to combine fashion with the most desirable physiques in the male sector.
2017 – ES Collection Swimwear collection: Kaleidos
This time science and fashion come together to create a chromatic journey through the consolidated style of ES Collection, coinciding with the celebration of its tenth anniversary.
Kaleidos is defined as a colour trip, in which science and fashion come together to create a collection full of prisms, light rays, reflexive and axioms which create the infinite range of colours. For our designer, Carmen Monforte, ES Collection presents its perception of how we interpret and allow to freely roam the fundamental basis of what we are: colour.
The collection is inspired in the work “Opticks”, a publication made by Isaac Newton in 1704 where aesthetics and culture are joined together based on the formation of images through lenses, spectral decomposition, and colour re-composition, which allowed to inspire on an innovative new language, generating fresh and modern expressions.
In line with our brand’s philosophy, Carmen Monforte is committed to using the highest quality fabrics and to the unprecedented design of our garments, seeking values which differentiate us, both innovatively and exclusively.
On this occasion, the brand is reinventing itself and has three clearly defined lines to offer different trends to all kinds of men. Kaleidos looks to reach back to the origins of ES Collection through colour and open up to a universal market coinciding with its tenth anniversary, with a sense of functionally renovating aesthetics.
Earlier this week we profiled the 4 Hunks Spider Jock, today we share the Slash Brief. It’s a regular brief but with a cut out in the back. Well, it is Fetish Friday!
Go a bit smaller for this Thong Thursday. The Andrew Christian Air Thong is one that fits that bill. It features the open air design.
This week a new brand got in touch with us. That brand is 4 Hunks. They are a company based out of Berlin, Germany. They are a mix of Brazilian sex appeal, Japanese high tech and German high quality. Which is a very interesting combination for sure! 4 Hunks has several things we love, but today we are going to focus on the Spider Jock, because it is Jockstrap Wednesday.
Redesigning a classic can go good or bad. The Spider Jock is one of those great redesigns of a classic. From the front the jock looks like a little different. You’re not sure if it’s a jock or brief. It really intrigued me. As you turn around you notice there are three straps not two. In a traditional jock you have a waist band and leg strap.
The 4 Hunks has two waist band straps and leg straps. My interpretation is that it’s a play of the wider jock waistband. But made out of two straps to show a cut out around the waist. Plus this would give the pouch a little more support, with two additional straps attaching to it. I mentioned the support above, the straps create an enhancement. It will show off your bulge, so they say. The way the construction is it creates an uplift that will show off your bulge.
There are two different color combinations as well. They are white/blue and black/red. The use of the contrasting color is pretty awesome. It’s used to create lines to enhance the pair. There is something about the strong lines that I just like. Each strap is half of each color on it. The pouch is then outlined in the contrast color. There is just something super sexy about this design to me. I think it’s so cool and innovative.
I love this jock and 4 Hunks has some more gear including underwear, singlets and harnesses. We will have more about this innovative German brand soon!
One of the main trends in Modus Vivendi’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection is the return of stripes. The Greek underwear and menswear brand has just released a new line that features stripes combined with neon accents. The new Narrow Line comprises four styles of underwear and some great looking T-Shirts to wear them with! The underwear styles are briefs, mini briefs, boxer briefs and jockstraps, all of which are available in three colourways, with thin black and white stripes as the base and vibrant, neon waists and trim.
The campaign photographs were shot in the dunes of Pinamar in Argentina by one of today’s hottest South American photographers, Gastohn Barrios. The campaign presents a nautical theme and the sexy sailor on shore leave is portrayed by model Daian Zubieta.

UNB Review – N2N Bodywear California Dreaming Brief from UNB Blog on Vimeo.
Matt is back with another great review. This time he’s reviewing the N2N Bodywear California Dreaming Brief (n2nbodywear.com). See how he liked it and howe recommended them to a guy in the gym. N2N Bodywear furnished this pair for review. Find us at UNBBlog.com
We all love men’s underwear. Each of us has our favorite styles, colors and fabrics. Underwear really is a personal experience for each guy. I think this is why we have such a passion for great underwear. We get to wear what fits us the best and makes us feel sexy as hell!
I got thinking of Masculinity in underwear after a talk with Andy (an interview coming out soon). He’s Leather Title holder and wears lace. I won’t go into all we talked about, but it is going to be a great talk! Our talk lasted about an hour. To coin a term used today “He gives no fucks” in what he wears.
Masculinity goes beyond lace. It centers around fabric, styles and colors. Society has told us what a man should wear. It shouldn’t be this and it shouldn’t be that. It should only be in this narrow defined category. Outside of that, some people will wonder if you’re light in the loafers.
Luckily, we are in a time that is changing. In the late 2000’s the color pink came into the world of men’s underwear. It took the industry by storm. Guys couldn’t get enough pink. Before this time, pink was not a color that mainstream companies would use for underwear. It was considered a color that was only used in women’s underwear. Now, very few give it a second thought about wearing or using pink. Other colors have started to come into men’s underwear as a result. Pastels, purple, and others considered on the feminine side are being produced every year.
Next is fabric. Not just lace but other fabrics are considered not manly. Silk was only to be used in boxers. While satin was not to be used at all. It had to be 100% cotton. Anything outside of that was a no no. We are shattering those rules. Satin underwear can be super sexy. Brands like BodyAware are showing just how sexy. I think I have seen underwear in just about every fabric combination. Brands like Gregg Homme and Pistol Pete are always playing with new fabrics to give guys more options. And let’s not forget Mesh. I could go on for hours about mesh! But I won’t!
Lastly is styles. This is a debate we still have going on today in mainstream society. Guys should just wear tights whities, boxer briefs or boxers. Anything that shows off the bulge, is a different cut or sexualizes a guy is not tolerated. Thongs are showing a up swing in popularity. This is across the board and not just for the gay market. Yet, for many of our straight underwear brothers, they are in the underwear closet. They get labeled “gay” or “fruity” for liking the fit and comfort. The same is said of bikinis or anything that is smaller than the “norm.”
I’m making a bold statement and saying that all men’s underwear is masculine. That is underwear that is designed for men and accommodates their assets (for a lack of better word). Yes, certain styles may not fit society or our own ideals of Masculinity. Just think, maybe for that guy who does wear them thinks its masculine.
Each of us has our own definition of masculinity. Mine is “a guy doing what he wants that empowers him and makes him feel great.” We need to all band together and fight the male underwear double standard. Wear what you feel great in, and pardon my language but “Fuck anyone who doesn’t agree.” We will explore this topic a lot more!
Adrian C. Martin sent us a lot of great pictures he took of the new Manus Swim line for 2016. We posted them a few days ago and hope you enjoy this picture. Go see all the pictures at the Adrian C. Martin Manus Post.
Warning if you wear the Bum Chum Nutsack line may contain nuts! I didn’t write it they did, for once. The Nutsack is a mesh brief in red and black. We have reviewed them and they are actually pretty nice. Unlike the pic you will show off EVERYTHING. Models are wearing a modesty pouch.
