Ginch Gonch – New Boys & Toys Line

We got you some great information on the new Ginch Gonch Boys & Toys line. They answered a few of our questions and we wanted to pass it along. And its on sale today!

What was the inspiration of the new style?

The new collection was inspired by the excitement of fast machines and the nostalgia associated with BIKES-ballbusterclassic boys’ toys like motorbikes. We wanted to create something with a vintage look and feel but that still kept with the Ginch Gonch philosophy and aesthetic. There is something really sexy about the humming of motors and the idea of getting dirty, greasy, sweaty and all of that fun stuff. That’s where the Boys & Toys Bikes collection came from.

How do you guys keep coming up with such fun and creative prints.

People are always asking us how we manage to keep it fresh and I think the answer is that we don’t work with any creative constraints. If we like something we go for it and don’t necessarily look at things from a “corporate” viewpoint. If we think a particulat concept is exciting and we think it will make people feel fun and sexy, we make it happen.

When is the new line available?

It’s in stores as of June 1st, 2009. You can also find the entire collection online at www.ginchgonch.com

What styles are are offering in the Boys & Toys.

The first styles to launch in the Boys & Toys collection are the motorbikes and they come in 2 different prints with 4 color Flyinfanny-Bikescombinations each. They are all available in Sports Briefs, Briefs, Low Rise Briefs and Jockstraps.

Here is a question I have heard a lot lately, are you planning to bring back jocks? A lot of people I have talked too really loved your jocks.

Totally! You can find them on the official Ginch Gonch online store. The bikes are totally hot in the Jocks we love them!

Anything on the horizon you can share with us? Any hints you can give us?

Well I won’t give you too much information ‘cause that would spoil the surprise, but there are two more collections rolling out later this summer and early fall in the Boys & Toys theme. It’s all about pumpin’ pistons and humming motors. Bet you can’t guess what they are!

Today Chad finished his first day on his nearly 600 mile journey. As he pedals his way closer to Los Angeles he knows that we have his back and are helping him make it up all those hills along the way.

Undrwear of the Week – N2N Bodywear Luxe Jockstrap

The Underwear of the week this week is the N2N Bodywear Luxe Jockstrap. I don’t think we have ever had a jock as the underwear of the week. The reason we have chosen this one is that the new lines by N2N are so cool and I figure its about time to get a jock up here. Several of us over here at UNB love jocks.

We just reviewed the Luxe Brief and have no doubt that this is just as good quality as the brief. N2N is known for it’s stylings and great pouch designs. If you like that you will love N2N. The jock is available from their website for $18, and is available in White and Black.

Review: N2N Bodywear Luxe Brief

This is my first pair of N2N, and I have always heard from friends how great the undies were and I have never bought any. Why, you ask? Well I guess it is just because I’m just lazy, and never really got around to it. Which I now know is my mistake!

Our friends at N2N sent us some great undies to review for their new lines that is coming out in the next few weeks. We are really excited about reviewing all of them!

I got to try the Luxe brief, and the first thing I loved was the waist band. I love the new waistbands that have the N2N on it. It is very sleek and sexy. I put them on and decided to give them a good work out, literally, so I went hiking. This was the first time in a year I had gone, so I figure, if these can stand up of hiking up and down hills daily wear would be a snap.

I headed out and wore them under my shorts. The first thing that really caught my attention was the pouch. I have heard about how great their pouches are and it really supported me throughout the hike. It was kind of like wearing a jock, so for me the pouch was a defiant highlight. The next thing was the seat; it really stayed in place and didn’t ride up or bother me for the entire hike. The last thing that was nice about these undies, is they didn’t keep moisture around my body, they really kept me cool and dry. There is nothing worse than wearing cotton undies hiking!

N2N is also known for their really revealing and sexy undies made to show off what you have. The pouch on these did push my bulge out some and made it a bit noticeable, but not too bad. The N2N Luxe Briefs are great to wear when you want to show off a little.

Skmpeez – New Kid In Town for Swimwear

There is a new swimwear line out there and it’s called Skmpeez.  Summer is about to go into full swing and you need a suit to be seen in on the beach! Skmpeez has some really great prints that really make them stand out!

The company was founded by two friends; one, a designer and the other a business man. They both reallyskmpeez_2882-edit love traveling and having fun in the sun.  The initial idea came about when the two were going to the beach and they spent hours trying to find the perfect suit, only to come home disappointed. They started their own line and now can create that perfect suit.

“SKMPEEZ’ first collection includes two cuts, the Euroz and Squarez. The Euroz cut, as its name describes, was inspired by the shape and fit of the classic European style of swimwear. This cut sits low on the hips. Not quite as revealing as a bikini cut, the Euroz leaves just enough to the imagination. The Squarez cut on the other hand, has a bit more length in the legs but sits low on the hips much like the Euroz.”

One thing about the line is they just focus on really great fitting and eye catching swimwear.  They have graced the cover of Instincts swimwear issue. Carlos the UnderGear model winner wore them on the cover shoot.  On top of that they were featured in the swimwear feature as well.

The swimwear ranges from $47 to $52. They have a few retailers, many of them are in the warmer climates, and you can see the list on their website.
