Beautiful shot from Andres Ramirez featuring AussieBum. The gold floor background with the silver mask leaves a very rich image, allowing this pair to really pop on screen.
Not everyone wants to or can wear a swim brief. So for those instances you need some traditional swimwear. aussieBum has always made awesome swimwear and these trunks are super fun. They have a great tropical print that will make you stand out on the beach for the right reasons.
“Our ‘BeeBee’ above the knee boardies are made from lightweight stretch fabric with a silicon grip texture on the inside to stop them riding up while you are out in the surf. Note: BeeBee feature one back pocket as shown in the product images. No internal mesh lining.”
They have 9 different designs for the line. Many are the tropical prints in the collection but my favorite is the Dots. This us a super fun pair that I wouldn’t expect in a line of tropical swimwear but it really works. I love that it’s different sized dots in the fabric. The blue waistband is just sets it off very nice.
The styles are made out of a 95% Polyester 5% Spandex blend with no liner. They retail for around $52 on the aussieBum site.
The League range from aussieBum is a staple of the brand. Each year this line is updated. Some years its a a slight color update, meaning they add one or two colors. Other times they do a complete revamp. This year they did a complete revamp of the line. The colors they chose are a mix of colors you don’t normally see in swimmer. I really like the color selections.
The colors they chose are: Flamingos (pictured above), Peacocks, Sharks, Sparrows, Dolphins, Tiger, Doves, Leopard and Whales. Can you guess which colors is which? I bet you can’t. Well Flamingos is pink, Peacocks is a teal, Sharks is a lighter blue, Sparrows is red, Dolphins is a medium blue, Tiger is orange, Doves is white, Leopard is black and Whales is a dark blue. All pretty cool colors.
The line is a square cut design. Each year is represented on the front right hip or back in the number. This year is 15 so there is a 15 on it. This series has been around for over 5 years so you may have seen it on the net with different pictures. The first time I remember seeing it was in 2010 and they did a Water Polo shoot.
It’s a great suit for those not wanting to go full swim brief but wear something fun at the beach or pool. With the addition of these amazing colors you will stand out for sure. Especially if you wear the Flamingos pink suit. That suit, mark my words will be one of the first to sell out. Pink in swimwear is always awesome. Pink isn’t going anywhere in men’s underwear or swimwear.
If you are interested in the line you can see all the pictures at the aussieBum site. The suits retail for $36.21 on the aussieBum site.
I know we ask you guys what you want for Holidays. I thought I would share what I have on my wish list for this Holiday season. There are some great pairs out there right now that I really want to try or have my collection updated:
Cocksox CSX 76 Sports Brief – I love the fit of Cocksox and believe it or not I haven’t tried any of the CSX Collection. This pair comes in my favorite color, GREEN
Ergowear BSC Bikini – One of my very first brands I discovered that fit guys who need extra room in the pouch. I also love a bikini cut
Andrew Christian Trophy Boy Brief – I really love this line from Andrew Christian. I want to spice up my underwear drawer with some bright colors and this yellow would be perfect
aussieBum Billy Boy Brief – This line from aussieBum reminds me of the underwear I bought growing up. The prints are amazing and fun. Plus it’s not a small bikini cut but just right.
Mundo Unico Short Boxer Pinos – One of my latest things I love in underwear are patterns and prints. Mundy Unico has always done amazing work in both. Even before it became one of the in things in underwear. I love the Unico Pouch as well!
N2N Bodywear Power Mesh Jock – Now I couldn’t all do briefs. I do have jocks on my list as well. N2N makes underwear for every guy to feel sexy in. I love the red jock best but anything they make is good with me!
2EROS Neo Brief – I have the jock and love it. The pouch is amazing and fits really well. Plus I love the bright colors adjacent the black fabric. It’s just a great pair not to mention the cool fly design.
These are just a few of the MANY pairs I want. When I sat down to do this post my brain is on over load and as soon as I post this I will remember about 10 other pairs I want. Plus this list is always changing. But this is an overview of what I would love to get this holiday season from someone special. Since I don’t have someone special I guess I’ll have to get them myself !

Are you looking for a great sale for underwear? aussieBum has a massive Christmas sale going on where you can save up to 50% off select styles. These include swimwear, underwear and more. Some of the best news pairs are on sale! So go check out the aussieBum site for all the sale pairs.
I love this pic and you will too if you’re in Australia! Summer is just now starting and it’s making me long for the summer! This is a shot by aussieBum and an amazing one at that!
Denim inspired underwear is a trend I see starting in men’s underwear. A few brands have come out with their own inspired denim underwear. But, aussiebum always takes underwear and makes it their own! Denim underwear is no different. Its always a design that is super sexy and flattering to a guy.
““BodyDenim” is the newest in print innovation by aussieBum. The denim inspired print is featured on the entire garment with both the body and waistband being custom engineered. The first of its kind in bringing outerwear fashion closer to your body, this product is available in both the brief and long-leg hipster styles.”
My favorite is the brief because I love how they did the pocket on the back! Plus the waistband that looks like a pair of jeans to me is super fun. I think its a job well done. Available in a pair of hipsters and brief. Made out of a 92% Polyester 8% Elastane blend. The brief retails for $30.50 and hipster is $35.50.
Find this an other pairs at the aussieBum website.
The Wonder Jock collection is pretty much a staple with aussieBum. Meaning it’s one of the collections they keep retooling and making better and better. The WJ collection is one that has a pouch that accents and shows off what you have, consider it the male equivalent of the wonder bra!
“WJBare by aussieBum is the perfect combination of your favourite aussieBum features in one product. Made with the exclusive Wonderjock technology, an original aussieBum waistband and our super-soft modal fabric, this range encapsulates ultimate aussieBum comfort and style. Available in 4 classic colours, WJBare comes in a traditional brief and the popular long-leg styles.”
This collection is available in a hipster and a brief. The two classic styles the WJ has been known for over the year. The pairs retail for $20 for the brief and $22 for the Hipster.
This is one line from aussieBum that I was looking forward to seeing. I heard they were releasing a Gladiator line. So it had me thinking of what it could be. Would it be literal or their take on Gladiator? Well aussieBum is always one brand to have fun design underwear, I think as much as we love wearing underwear. They never slow down in designing, just when I think they will take a break, BAM here is a new range.
The Gladiator is:Introducing Gladiator… The newest in design innovation by aussieBum! Inspired by the Roman warriors and featuring our wide waistband and super-soft modal fabric this range is available in 4 styles including the cup, bikini cut, original hipster and the brand new toga. The black fabric fuses with a bespoke gold waistband to bring out your inner Gladiator. Get ready to fight!
As you can tell they have three styles they have had before but the new one is the Toga. Which is just what it sounds. There is nothing under neath. The main pic if the Toga, the side is open and the front has a pouch and that’s all there is to it!. Not sure you would wear it under a suit but could make a great date night or bar night pair. Its definitely different and lives up to the aussieBum fun factor. I will admit I want to try the toga. If I get one I”ll let you know how it goes.
Find these four pairs on the aussieBum site.
I’m a hard core brief wearer. Throughout the frozen hell better known as winter 2013-2014, I wore briefs. Even during the dreaded polar vortex that turned Northeastern Illinois into Chiberia, briefs were proudly worn under layers of clothing by this guy. I tell you this because as seasons change, my choice of underwear, as far as the cut goes, remains pretty consistent. True, I may wear thongs more often when the weather gets warmer, but I’ll always be a brief guy at heart.
As a culture, we’ve learned to associate seasons and holidays with certain colors. I’m talking about how we like to wear red and green for Christmas, or pastels for spring. As we head into autumn, those deep shades of orange, purple, and red come to mind, along with yellows and browns. Traditionally, these colors have been associated both with the natural transformation of the foliage outside and with the activities that typically occur in the fall, like the harvest.
So, I bet you guys know where I’m going with this. That’s right! I’m compiling a list of my favorite red, orange, purple, yellow and brown briefs, and pairing them with a fall activity.
1. You should try to navigate a maize maze this fall in these Hugo Boss briefs. Maybe someone will mistake you for an ear of corn and try to butter and eat you.
2. These purple Aussiebum briefs are a classic. The ribbed cotton adds some interest to a standard brief cut. Why not wear these under your costume on Halloween? You’ll definitely be getting both tricks and treats once they’re revealed.
3. Try on these C-in2 “Hand Me Down” briefs in Syracuse orange, while actually going to a college football game. Then detrou when your team scores a TD and show everyone your school spirit.
4. Run a turkey trot or do another sporting activity in this brown Obviously Sinuous string bikini/tanga. The high cut sides and anatomic pouch leave both room to move and provides natural support.
5. Snuggle next to the fireplace with your lover (or potential hookup) knowing that while the yule log flickers in the fireplace, you are about to set the whole scene on fire when you put these Bikkembergs briefs on display. The little pop of pink screams bulls-eye.
aussieBum has released a new ranged called Chrome. This year they have really come on strong with a lot of great underwear. The pairs ranged from the expensive to the reasonable. This pair falls in the reasonable range. This new range has a very classic styling and not in wilder colors. Some of the previous ranges had some amazing colors, but sometimes you need something classic.
Here is what aussieBum has to say about the line: “This chic and stylish underwear features a new vertical wide-ribbed fabric for maximum extension and comfort. The vintage cut is sure to fit you like a second skin! Available in four classic colours in both brief and hipster styles. Strong style for strong men!”
The two styles are a hipster and a brief. Each is available in white, black, grey and navy. The material made out of 60% Polyester, 35% Cotton, 5% Elastane has a vertical ribbed design that should be super comfy. Each pair is reasonably priced, the brief is $16.71 and the hipster is 17.61. Which is an amazing price and with free shipping to the US, how can you not get them!
We profiled this fun limited edition pairs earlier this week from aussieBum. Here is the promo video for the pair. Just remember they are available for a limited time so don’t miss out if you want them. It’s not often we see really cool and fun Halloween undies that aren’t boxers!
This underwear is made from a unique, air-rated, nylon supplex yarn making it super smooth while it moulds to your body. Blue, green and grey colourways are available in both brief and hipster. Find it at the aussieBum site!
What would a holiday be without some great themed undies from aussieBum. Their history goes back to the beginning of UNB. One of my favorites, that I unfortunately didn’t get, was the easter themed ones. I LOVED those. Halloween has brought a new pair called “Jack the Pumpkin”
From the aussieBum site: For a strictly limited time only, get aussieBum’s hilarious Halloween themed undies ‘Jack the Pumpkin’. This cheeky print features a custom illustrated design, fused with a classic aussieBum waistband for durability. Made from our new scarily soft fabric blend, they are sure to get you in the mood to Trick or Treat!
So if you want this pair you better act fast. Their limited edition pairs have always gone fast and then sold out. This pair is available in a brief and hipster. Both have the really fun print made out of a 92% Polyester 8% Elastane blend.
Each is on sale now at the aussieBum site for $22.47 fro the brief and $23.47.
aussieBum has release the new range called BreakOUT. You maybe asking why is it called that? Well the back is cut out and is a boxer jock! But that’s not all, the front has an enhancing foam cup. Don’t worry this cup is completely removable. I know we have plenty of readers who this will drive crazy.
Here is what aussieBum has to say about the pair: ” BreakOUT with this innovative design by aussieBum! This range features the popular cut-out at the rear while incorporating a pioneering feature in a removable foam cup that adds shape and enhances your size. Available in a brief and hipster with our signature wide waistband – are you man enough?”
This style is available in two styles and colors. The styles are a brief and a hipster. The colors are black and grey. The brief retails for $28.68 and hipster is $32.79. Find it at the aussieBum site
Were you a fan of Catch of the Day? If you were they released a new range in the line. The previous pair was created when aussieBum, Sean Ashby, wanted to see a model in a pair of mesh underwear. This sounds like something I would do! After seeing the pair on the model they decided to make the line! So not every pair is planned our in a release schedule, some just happen!
Here is what aussieBum says bout the line: Leave as little or as much to the imagination as you want with Catch of the Day! This innovative underwear comes in a brief, bikini, hipster and jock style with a variety of waistband colours and net-fabric combinations. Be todays Catch!
Which style do you want? Well they range from $22-$31. So go check out the new line.
If you are a fan of colors, the new aussieBum line Palette is one you need to check out. The new hipster line is available in three different colors. Those colors are blue, green and pink. They aren’t super bright but a little more subdued and very nice! I’m loving the green pair most. Green is my all time favorite underwear color!
The pair is also made out of Pima Cotton. Pima is ultra soft and will be super comfy on top of it. For those who need a bit more space in the pouch, this one has it! This is great for the endowed guys, but don’t worry the pouch will fit any one out there. It’s not too roomy for average guys.
The last thing I love is the waistband. The waistband is a bespoke metallic waistband. It’s a really cool waistband. I like how the BUM is in a different color. I will say great job over all aussieBum! You can find it at the aussieBum site for $23.74
If you’re like me as years go by your rates in colors and prints change. The last few years I have been drawn to interesting and fun prints. There is something about them lately. Before I would pretty much stick to solids and a few stripes. Gone are those days. I love bright fun underwear. aussieBum has released a new line called Byron.
“Bold statement tye-dye underwear with a unique print on each individual garment. ‘Byron’ has a super thin waistband with a slim fitting complimentary fit.” What dose that mean? Well each individual pair is different. Very few pairs these days can make that claim. This is due to the tie dye process, there is no way to make two a like!
There are some things I like. The first one is the thinner aussieBum branded waistband. It’s not as thick as the usual aB waistband. Some of our readers who don’t like big waistband may like this. The second is the white trim on the leg opening. They could have used tie dye trim, but the white just pops and I like it.
Byron is just available in just a brief cut. So if you’re looking for a trunk you’re out of luck. the pair retails for $22.44 on the aussieBum site.
It’s not every day we cover shirts. As more companies are branching out beyond underwear and swimwear it is something you may see more of on UNB. I think coving them makes sense for us. Most companies are branching out into work out wear and other clothing that compliments underwear.
aussieBum has released new Rugby Jersey. The jersey is made out of 100% sports grade cotton. The line also “which features a vintage style knitted rugby collar. A charcoal logo and number vinyl transfer accentuate the sporting features of the jersey, available in burgundy, green, royal blue and black.”
I will be the first to admit that I do love a rugby jersey. I think this is a great addition to the aB line up. Also they have red and marron to their ‘Rugby Heritage’ shorts collection. Now you can look like a rugby player but with out the chance of getting hurt.
If you like the shirts and want to check them out, head over to the AussieBum site. They retail for about $51, depending on the exchange rate. The Rugby Heritage shorts retail for about $30.
Are you Brave? Do you want to be Brave? If you answered yes then the new range from aussieBum is for you. Camo has been a big trend in men’s underwear for the last few years. Each year I think we will see the end of the trend but someone comes up with a new way to make fun camo underwear.
This line mixes the camo print with sports mesh. Yup you heard me, sports mesh, which is one of my favorite new fabrics for underwear. It just feels amazing and sexy on me. I haven’t been a fan of nylon undies because there isn’t much give, but something out the feel of the sports mesh just gives a bit and is super breathable. I have a few pairs by other brands and on super hot days I wear them and it makes me much cooler.
This range from aussieBum is available in a hipster and brief. It comes in two different colors a traditional green camo and a blue camo print. I really love the green, since It’s my favorite color. However, the blue is pretty hot too! Its really a fun line that is not something I would see from aussieBum.
The one thing I really love about aB is they put their own down under spin on undies and swimwear. This pair is the perfect example of that and we hope you go check it out. The brief is available for $28.15 and the Trunk is $31.91.
Last time we profiled the Calypso swim brief, they have another pair that is in the same color palate but a different style. That style is the Lagoon, hence the title! aussieBum has always been up for creating different and super fun swimwear. The Calypso is definitely different, I know some out there may not like it but many more will be all for it!
Here is what aussieBum told us about the range:
“The ultimate in sexy, chic and pioneering swimwear. ‘Lagoon’ is made from recycled nylon, a super light and comfortable fabric that acts as a second skin. Designed with a complimentary, statement side tie detail that re-establishes aussieBum as the industry leader for stylish, boundary-pushing product and innovative design. Available in four different summer inspired colour ways with spliced panelling detail.”
The color scheme is very topical and fun. It’s not bright but more pastel colors. The side tie reminds me of a sarong tie that you see on the beach. It makes me wonder if that is the inspiration for the suit. Another thing I like about this suit is the back mirrors the front pattern. Often you have a pattern that is just on the front or back, not both. I find this pair very creative.
There are five different color combinations. All but one has a a blue in it. The one that doesn’t has orange, yellow pink. That pair reminds me of a sun rise/set. The colors are one thing that really draws me to this pair. Super fun and creative. On that I say good job aussieBum.
If you are interested in this pair you can find it for $40.85 at the aussieBum site.
And the winner is… AUSSIEBUM!
That’s right friends, you voted and with 48% of the vote my 300th pair of underwear is AussieBum. I can’t thank you all enough for helping to make this decision. It was quite fun to allow someone else make the choice. I am not at all disappointed with the choice from AussieBum either. Once the votes were calculated my only job was to choose the pair I wanted from the AussieBum.com website. I actually let my boyfriend make the choice. He chose the “LineUp” Black Brief. This style features an oversized waistband with the logo randomly written throughout. The overall design of this pair is simply fun to wear. My boyfriend had no complaints either.
Since adding this pair to my collection I have added an additional 22 pair. I am now proudly boasting a collection of 322 pair and always growing. It is hard not to keep adding more when the deals and clearance sales run rampant throughout the internet. Each time I get an email from CheapUndies.com I have the fight off the urge to buy, buy, buy. Truth be told I’m running out of space in my drawer of underwear. I am currently trying to figure out where to stash more pairs.
I know I’ll continue to add to my collection and I encourage all to do the same. With each new design or style that the designers put is our opportunity to keep our collection current and fun. Let’s face it…our love underwear centers on fun, for us and our partners. Thank you again for helping to make the 300th choice.
When you get a new pair of swimwear you want it to be fun and colorful. You want swimwear that looks great on you, is super comfy and my personal favorite is colorful as well! aussieBum has been one of the brands that has been making some really fun and different swimwear this year.
The newest swimwear is the Calypso. This line features a thick waistband with a small lace up front. Each one of the pairs has three different color blocks. The colors of the collection are Azure, Green, Navy and Red. The picture above is the Red. Also, on the back is the aussieBum name across the Bum
This pair will get you some attention on the beach. One of my favorite swim briefs was a color block. So, this pair brings back some good memories of the beach and a summer just relaxing. Would I wear this pair, in a heartbeat! I really love the design and color block. This pair retails for $42.80 on the aussieBum site.
It’s rare to have a big sale at aussieBum, and a clearance sale is even rarer! Right now it’s the end of the year sale you can get put to 50% off some of your favorites. This is only for 5 days and once it’s gone it’s gone! So don’t miss out and shop now the sale is in full swing!
