I found out our friend over at Dead Good Unides, are up for a really great award in the UK. The award is the Drapers Etail Award. Which is the equivalent of the Oscars for online retailing. They are on the short list under Best Specialist Etailer. Dead Good Undies has been a staple on this blog pretty much since the beginning and we love to see our friends get noticed! They really do have an amazing selection and always has the most fashion forward undies!

Here is what Adam at Dead Good Undies had to say ” We are up against some very good competition including the really big boys like Figleaves so to even to get to the Finalist list is a huge achievement for us and i’m so excited as the last time I won anything was £10 on the lottery in about 2007″

New Unico Christmas Undies at Dead Good Undies

We know that Christmas is right around the corner. We are under two months away, but some how it still seems like its still far away. But before you know it it, will be here and we’ll all be scrambling. Well, one thing to get a jump on is some Christmas undies. Our friends at Dead Good Undies told us about these really cool new pairs from Unico. Which you know is one of my favorites, and they aren’t really over the top. I have heard from guys who want undies for holidays but don’t want them with snowmen, chirstmas trees and other type of things. Well these just have Merry Christmas on the waist band.

They in fact are sheer except for the pouch. They are super sexy pairs that would be awesome to wear or get for that someone special and maybe unwrap. They have the awesome Unico pouch and fit. I have a pair of mesh Unico and think they are pretty awesome. If they are made out of the same material, they will fit very well and not loose the shape.

Review: Unico Boxer Corto Ceniza

The Unico reviews continue!  The new Unico line, to me, is really fun and they have used great materials in creating them.  I have fallen in love with the spandex/nylon trunk.  I reviewed the Jardin boxer brief and it became one of my favorites.  My favorite pair of briefs that I mentioned yesterday is a nylon/spandex blend.

The pair I got is the short boxers.  Of course, when I took them out of the package, I became really excited.  I don’t know what it is about Unico, but they just know how to make undies that fit men.  The pouch is amazing and holds everything perfectly.  It doesn’t constrict either.  That can be tricky when you are seeking good undies.

If you have never tried Unico, I highly recommend you do.  One fact you should know…order a size larger!  They tend to run small for American sizes.  Trust me when I say you will be grateful for that advice!  They are based on sizing standards from South America.

Getting back to the review, these truly did fit like a glove.  I knew as soon as I felt them that they would be simply amazing.  This is one of those pairs you wear that you wish you could wear for more than one day in a row.  It felt as if I wasn’t wearing underwear at all.  They definitely will be stored in my top underwear drawer.  If you are like me, you have more than one underwear drawer.  The top one is for the pairs I love while the second is for those that are good but not for every day wear.  The bottom one is for those I wear only when I run out of the top two selections.

Dead Good Undies – Shippping issues

We received this from Dead Good Undies. If you ordered from them, this will explain some of the shipping issues due to the Volcano in Iceland

Hi everyone

You can’t have missed the news that ash from the volcano in Iceland is causing severe disruption to air traffic not only in the UK but across a lot of Europe and indeed the world.

The result is that until it clears, effectively NOTHING is moving via air which of course involves virtually all deliveries outside the UK.

Royal Mail has just announced what is happening during this unavoidable and unprecedented occurrence and full information can be found here: http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump1?catId=400144&mediaId=112300784

Put briefly this is what is happening:

USA – parcels are being sent by sea and according to Royal Mail the first ship is not due into the USA until April 30th

Europe – orders are being taken across the Channel via ferry, then transferred overland

Rest of the World – Royal Mail are not moving parcels from their depots until the air is clear for flights

UK – the Special Delivery next day guarantee is suspended but they will be giving these parcels priority over regular mail

Some delays are inevitable and whilst we share your frustration please remember this is a natural phenomenon which no-one could have foreseen and we cannot provide alternatives.

We will continue to process and despatch orders as normal as we wouldn’t want your orders to be at the end of any backlog when it all clears.

The situation changes almost by the hour and flights may resume at any point. We trust Royal Mail to do their utmost to move parcels as soon as safely possible and hope normal service will resume within a few days.

We would like to thank all our loyal customers for their patience and support.
