Good Boy Gone Bad

GBGB Charly BLACKAs I continue into my growing knowledge and experience with various underwear brands. I had the pleasure to take a second trip into the transition of basic to sexy with another pair of Good Boy Gone Bad. I was excited to receive another pair from this brand that I had only experienced one with and was immediately intrigued by the design. The Charly brief features a brief like shape with an open front concept complete with bands of fabric connecting the two sides in the front. This may look like a normal brief from the back but when you turn around and show off your front, that package will be popping out on display!

The cotton and lycra mix was a nice comfortable soft material that I instantly knew would feel great under my suit. I was nervous about wearing this pair throughout my work day due to the exposed front. That quickly passed and I became excited to have this on all day for my test run. When I slid them on I instantly noticed the soft fabric that felt great against my body. I positioned everything right so that my package looked good exposed in front with a few lines of fabric stretching across it. I wear a medium and the pair held up to size. The back and the waist fit perfectly to my body and did not leave me in any discomfort during the day. The pouch was a little tighter than some of the other pairs I have been wearing lately. It is not uncomfortable but there is not a great deal of room. Well endowed men may want to keep this in mind.

As usual, I wore them through my normal day of sitting, standing, walking and all of the normal activities for a typical work day. The one negative thing I will say about this brief in the course of my day is it is not always practical for going to the bathroom. I felt I took a little longer to put things back in place and zip up. You have to make sure you don’t poke out through one of the bottom strands! Occasionally through the day I would feel a sense of surprise or pause when I could feel my pants rub up against my skin through movements. I was nervous about this irritating my skin but luckily it was not that bad to do that. On a side note, due to the open pouch concept, I would recommend a good trim before wearing this pair of briefs!

Overall this was a very fun pair of briefs that I think is beautiful looking. It may not be the most practical pair to wear throughout the course of the work day. I would definitely put this towards the top of my list for a nice dinner date with my partner followed by a romantic evening in the bedroom. The pair radiates with sex appeal!

Pros:

  • Soft material
  • Intriguing visual front
  • Great back and waist fit

Cons:

  • Not easily practical
  • Less room in front pouch

Ivo bief red frontEver since I started with UNB, I have put some underwear designers on my wish list to try. This week I was excited to learn that one of my dream pairs from Marcuse had arrived for me to review. The pair was the Ultra Brief in white which I had seen in various advertisement photos. On first look, this is a very sexy pair of briefs. You expect to see a basic white brief but instead are met with lines that ad sophistication and sexy curves to the pair. I was also able to instantly tell how soft the fabric was to the touch. I slid the pair on and the sexiness continued.

Anyone who is a fan of briefs knows that there are many different types ranging from basic and sport, to thicker sides and thinner sides, waist level and low rise. This pair was definitely low rise and smaller as they barely came up to the top of my butt. There are people who may find this uncomfortable or feel as though your underwear needs to be pulled up throughout the day. This was not the case here. I wore them through an entire work day, moving around quite a bit, and did not ever feel as though I needed to pull my underwear up. The back of the briefs fit just around the butt with no extra coverage to bother the wearer. At the top of the back there is a thin strap, similar to what I used to see in dress Ivo brief life style shotsshirts. I did not see a purpose for this strap nor do I find it very visually appealing. It did not bother the pair or its wear ability.

When it comes to smaller briefs, it can be difficult to gauge the sizing factor. I wear a medium and as I mentioned the pair came to the top of my butt. Since it is a smaller brief, it felt very tight on me all day long. I could feel the tightness under my suit. This did not bother me but it is a notable observation that I feel I should share with my fellow UNB readers. With the smaller briefs, there is usually less fabric and less room. I did find the front pouch to be tighter than I expected. I did not feel as though I had much room which led to slight discomfort throughout the day.

Overall, I am happy that I was able to add Marcuse to my underwear drawer. This is a very hot pair and I love the look of it on. The small concerns I had with the pair could be a result of the way it felt on me today and would not keep me from wearing them again. I nominate this pair for a second wear in a few weeks to see how it feels that day. I have complete confidence that they will be even better the second time around.

Pros:

  • Sexy look
  • Soft fabric
  • Low rise fit

Cons:

  • Smaller front pouch
  • Back design

gbgb feb 2012

As I mentioned before on the Good Boy Gone Bad post, this is one of the times I met them in a suite at the Mandalay Bay. I always get a preview and show of everything they make. This time Marko was there as the model. He’s such a sweet guy I enjoy when I get to see him modeling. GBGB Wear is a lot of fun and we will let you know about the new line. I am flying home today. I took the weekend off to spend with friends and will have a lot of things from Magic this week!

GBGB Marko Lebeau Aug 2010

Again 2010 was a huge year for me! Good Boy Gone Bad was another company that hit the market and I could never get a contact. They were at Curve this time. Most times after we met in a hotel suite.  This is someone you may recognize, Marko Lebeau. At the time I had no idea who he was, but he is an adult entertainer with his own site now. These pictures got shared so many times and until I found out what he did, then I realized why they got shared

We don’t usually cover gym accessories but this I felt I couldn’t pass up. Did you notice the gym bag in the pic? Maybe you did, maybe you didn’t! But we are doing a few reviews of Good Boy Gone Bad and they sent me a gym bag. When I first opened the package I was impressed by the bag but I thought, its a good gym back.

Then I really got the bag out and noticed it’s made of neoprene. This has to be the most ingenious material for a gym bag. There is nothing wrong with nylon bags but this one will keep your wet clothes from leaking through, or keep the water from getting in! I also like this bag because it has an compartment for your shoes!

The bag come sin two colors red or blue. The materials are neoprene. It retails for $68 on the Good Boy Gone Bad site. If you’re in the need of a great gym bag, check it out!

Good Boy Gone Bad is one of those brands that you wear to make you feel sexier. They are not known for being boring or plain. What makes them sexy is that they  have some great cuts and fun patterns/prints. This is shown in underwear, swimwear and lounge/work out wear. I try to showcase what trends a line has for the up coming season, but for Good Boy Gone Bad, the them is sexy.

This is done in small cuts, pouch accenting, and color/accents. The smaller cuts are carried over in both swim and underwear. Where as the pouch accenting, as I call it, are briefs and trunks with great pouches not only give you great support but also show off everything! Laslty, the pattern and colors are great for underwear. You have the traditional colors and some more pastels, mixed in with some animal prints. So, I”m sure there is something in the line that you are going to love.

The pictures in this post we took at Magic. They showed their line in a suite and many of you may know the model. Our pics from the last few shows of him are getting round on the internet.

  • Swim Marco – GBGBSW015 – How about something super small and sexy? If you are brave enough to wear something that leaves little to the imagination then this pair is perfect. • Swim Fidel – GBGBSW014 – Available in Red, Black, White, Brown and Green. This pair is is a smaller cut swim suit that has metallic like rivets in the pouch that cut out the material. • Swim Boxer Alan – GBGBSW010 – Maybe you’re the kind of guy who likes something not as brief (as the Swim Fidel) but not big as a trunk. Check out the swim boxer with is a short cut almost square cut boxer with white accent piping on the legs, side and pockets. Available in Black and Blue Steel

  • Bob Bikini Power Net GB2U007, Reg Bikini Power Net GBGBU008 & Rugby Boxer Power Net  GBGBU009 – Is mesh your favorite type of underwear? Its a trend I though would be over but when companies make great undies like these. It’s easy to see why it’s still around. All three pairs are very low cut on the waist with a contour pouch. Each pair has a contrasting line on either side of the pouch. This will def draw attention to the pouch area. Check their site for all the color combs
  • Ted Legging – GB2U011 – This past year we saw a lot of companies add long johns. Which I will say is about time we make this design a little more fashionable. You can wear it under jeans or as lounge wear around the house. Colors are yellow, royal blue and orange

Firs thing I have to do before we get into the guide is thank the awesome sponsors above! Pistol Pete – Gold Sponsor, Clever/Vuthy & Croota – Silver Sponsors and Good Boy Gone Bad and UnderGear as Bronze sponsors! Without them this guide would not have taken place. Next, I have to thank our photographer Brian from Seven Continents Photography and our Models Cody, Christian and Juan. Our sponsors allowed us for the first time to hire models and do a shoot all ourselves. It is a big learning process and things had bumps (models falling out the week before), but we carried on and pushed forward. We think we did a great job for our first attempt and we will learn more each time!

We had over 60 suits and a full day by the lake and then a re-shoot by a pool this past weekend. It has been a blast and I hope you enjoy this guide and it helps you get some great swimsuits this year! Our Models are Cody, Juan and Christian. Please check out our Videos on YouTube Enjoy the Guide! BTW, don’t forget to check individual size charts!
