Men’s Underwear

Category

If you have wanted to get some new Candyman, you’re in luck! They just released their newest line for Fall. It’s everything you would expect from Candyman lace, thongs and new costumes! They continue their mixing of masc/fem line

I think Candyman definitely fills a space in men’s underwear. There are a lot of guys who love the mix of the masc/fem. I am one of those guys, thought I don’t own a lot, I do see the draw to these. Other guys I know have loved the preview I gave them.

If you aren’t about lace and skimpy cuts, there are also some new costumes. The three are Pirate, Cowboy, and Police. These three seem to be the most popular of the costumes. One of the first they ever created was the cowboy.

Here are some lifestyle pics of the collection. We will give you more in-depth view of the collection over the next week or so. View the entire Candyman Collection at the UNB Store.

McKILLOP XXL-BULGE ENVY SPORT JOCK – NEW COLORS ARE HERE!

Although our HUGE-ly popular attention getting McKillop Max Bulge Jockstraps fit most guys, we had a few customers tell us they couldn’t fit their LARGER than life junk in them. So we tasked McKillop to make us a custom jock brief for the really BIG guys. The XXL-Bulge Envy Sport Jock was the answer. Joining the original black and white are two new colors – blue and red.

Quite simply, XXL-Bulge Envy is a very see-through sheer mesh jock brief that’s all about the bulge. It has a very large, ergonomically designed pouch that’s cut short at the base of the 3D pouch to help lift your boys up and out. Despite that villain called gravity trying it’s best to keep your hulking monster down, Envy puts up a pretty damn good fight against it. Look no further than our models Markus Kage and Caleb King for proof it works – even with their rather large endowments they fit in easily and with room to grow!

The back, of course, is like a brief with a cutout to frame your best assets.

McKILLOP MAX BULGE LONG JOHNS – WITH INCLUDED COCKRING – THEY’RE BACK!

Summer has said farewell, Fall is here and Winter is unfortunately heading our way – but things have never been hotter with the return of our sexy and completely outrageous McKillop Max Bulge Long Johns. To be honest, you can wear them as long johns but also as lounge pants. It’s really up to you but first let’s talk about the main event… the pouch:

Sure, it’s all about the bulge – but McKillop is taking bulging to the extreme. With a secret weapon, well, two to be exact to ensure you’re bulging sky high! First in Max Bulge’s arsenal is a front pouch panel that’s super contoured and cut high to sit up under your balls. Second, a double-wide elasticated fabric cock ring is included with every pair of long johns for extra lift and to potentially restrict some blood-flow. The result: your manhood is hoisted up and put out there on display for all to see, as it should.

The long johns are made with a second-skin Modal fabric that’s not only super soft and stretchy but thin enough to wear under your pants or pair of jeans. It’s an extra layer of warmth while outside in the cold with the added bonus of creating a prominent bulge that will get you noticed, big time. Once you get home, strip off those jeans and just hang out on the couch in your bulging johns – they’re that comfortable. Just be warned: alone or with someone else you’ll be hard pressed not to give those bulges the attention they’re just begging for.

Max Bulge Long Johns are available in five colors, black, navy-blue, red, royal-blue and white and all come with McKillop’s signature 1.5″ wide elasticated fabric cockring.

By the way, in case you’re in a situation where you don’t want the extreme bulge effect, simply wear them without the included cock ring and they’ll still look amazing.

TAKING A (MUCH) CLOSER LOOK AT MEN’S UNDERWEAR

Today Deadgoodundies in the UK invites us to take a much closer look at their men’s underwear collections – because a picture doesn’t always tell the full story.

“Online sales rely on great photography but there is always more than initially meets the eye,” explains DGU founder Adam Davies. “Obviously customers can’t feel a product, so we ensure our descriptions explain as much as possible.”

Adam mentions several factors that warrant a closer look: “The depth of a side seam, the width of a thong or string, details of pouch shaping or enhancement,  depth of colour or transparency and fast dry fabric could all be important. But it can also be about what’s not there that becomes apparent from the description – for example no lining on a pouch, no back or side seams and no tags inside so the fit is totally smooth.

“Often very tactile or beautiful fabrics don’t come across clearly even with the best images of male boxers, briefs, thongs and bodies. We have to convey the feel of the material, whether it’s fine or substantial, technical or tactile, and explain the subtlest finishes and effects.”

DGU’s in-house writer partner Jane Garner who as a journalist has a way with words. She’s written and edited descriptions for tens of thousands of men’s underwear products for the website https://www.deadgoodundies.com/ since 2004. Jane adds: “My job is to keep descriptions clear and consistent, to include the aesthetic, tactile and practical features of each piece as well as basics like washing instructions. We have to express the delight in touching a peachy soft material that makes you smile…”

Jane’s tip: if you want to check out the detail on a picture, choose the palest colour even if that’s not the one you want to buy.

OLAF BENZ RED 1912 MINI STRING £27.00

How many different ways can you describe a divinely soft, translucent fabric? Jane writes that this men’s underwear thong feels as soft as an angel’s wing. The same microfibre is also used for a Brazil Brief and Rio Tanga, each £29.00, and a Mini Pant boxer brief at £31.00, all in red, white or black.

IMPETUS INNOVATION BRIEF £16.00

Looks like a standard men’s underwear brief doesn’t it? This male bikini is made using a fabric developed for NASA. Outlast is made from natural fibres but copes with extremes of heat and cold – as it did for astronauts in space. Absorbs and releases heat and helps with moisture management too.

MODUS VIVENDI SUEDE LOW CUT BRIEF £21.00

Imagine the heavenly touch of seriously expensive butter soft suede and you have this men’s underwear slip just right. Modus Vivendi are famous for recreating nature’s most touchable fabrics in manmade yarns (they still do mohair) and this is their latest. Also available in a tanga brief – both styles in camel, brown or light blue.

SUKREW LINCOLN BRIEF £16.99

The sexiest men’s underwear isn’t all about the bulge (though that helps) – it’s also about proportions. The balance between the depth of a waistband and the prominence of an enhancing pouch has to be right. British brand Sukrew has created its own pouch profile, used to superb effect in their latest silky brief, also offered in bright red and royal blue. DGU customers can’t get enough.

OLAF BENZ RED 1907 RIO TANGA £29.00

This is one of those fabrics that no photograph can do justice – the subtle surface is a fine snakeskin look created with matt and shimmering finishes on a silky single layer fabric. Also available as a Mini String (£27.00) in black, red or mint green.

SEAMLESS MEN’S UNDERWEAR AT DGU

Both snug, both seamless but a different shape, DGU’s new seam free male slips have to be worn to be fully appreciated. As the way these ultra smooth men’s underpants are made ensures an adaptable and very personal fit, Jane has advised customers to buy up at least one size.

IMPETUS COTTON SEAMLESS BRIEF £13.00 in black, white, grey or deep navy

We have profiled the amazing gear that SkinFit makes from singlets to runners. They have an entire underwear section. The best thing, you can get it in any of the 36 colors they offer! That means if you find the perfect style, you can get it in the perfect color.

Their underwear has thongs, bikinis, trunks and boxer briefs. They have a great range of styles. My personal favorite is the Curve Bikini. As you can see in the picture below it’s a great pair. Again, you can customize the pair with any two colors you want.

Just imagine that you can create an entire gym look and have everything match. To some of you this is a big deal, it’s the ultimate goal. But finding gear in all the same color can be difficult, especially if you are buying from different brands. Your runners, tank/shirt, underwear can all match!

I think in 2020 we are going to see a lot more of SkinFit. They came on strong this year and continue to add great colors and styles. Check out all their gear.

There is one that is true about classic briefs. They never go out of style. They can be the traditional tighty whites or they can be in any color variation but they are still in style and “on trend.” (God I hate that phrase so much but it’s true).

aussieBum has updated their classic line to include three new colors. The colors are Pacific, Mango, and Punch (seen above). I will say that this is a pretty awesome line. I have several pairs of these and I hear what some of you may be saying, “This will fit like other classics and not give me the fit and support I love.” Well, I can tell you that this pair fits amazing. It’s not the “classics” you grew up on. They won’t loose their shape or let you down when you need the support.

In fact, I have a purple pair I was given for my birthday, that I love wearing. It’s very much in my rotation and the only issue is I don’t have purple shirts to match it with. DOH!

This pair is also a great starter pair for any friends wanting to try better underwear. It’s no so much out of their comfort zone, but it has an improved fit and colors Check out all 18 colors at the aussieBum site.

Set the trend status this winter and make appearances without fail.

Inspired by the vivid life in Mexico the Suede line delivers a mix of culture and fashion. Blend the soft camel and bright blue colors with a Mexican vibe and you get an astonishing, captivating look. The flamboyant style of Frida Kahlo combined with this chic and minimal style Suede line creates a pure and exquisite subtle fashion statement.

The Suede line comprises of Low Cut Briefs, Tanga Briefs, & Shirts.

The Modus Vivendi Suede line features classic style underwear with the Modus Vivendi logo discreetly placed on the front. Made from polyester elastane fabric is available in camel and light blue. The extra soft suede feeling on this underwear makes it super comfortable and is perfect for highlighting the natural beauty of the body.

The Modus Vivendi Suede line is available from €24.80

It’s Jockstrap Wednesday! I thought we should mix it up a bit. A mix of masculine and famine. That is a lace jock! This jock has been gaining steam on Twitter and a lot of people are talking about it.

This is a burgundy lace jock from Candyman. The jock has a solid pouch and lace side and back and the typical jock. It’s actually more of a jock brief! But it’s something that is definitely different!

The wall between what is masculine and feminine is breaking down in the world of men’s underwear. When I started UNB, lace undies were a sub fetish and very few guys wore them. Now, they are widely available and it’s not just for guys who want women’s underwear.

Candyman is a brand that has always created undies outside the box. Some have been super crazy while others are more conservative. I prefer their super wild pairs, because they push the industry to look at new ways of designing undies.

Are you man enough to wear a lace jock? If you are pick up this jock!

PAIR: CANDYMAN 99312 JOCKSTRAP COLOR BURGUNDY

This week the pair of the week is the Baskit X Trunk.  It’s designed to put some of your best assets forward. So, slide into a pair of X, step in front of the mirror, and remember that you’ve got what it takes to make today count. X…your day starts here.

If you are unfamiliar with the Baskit $12 sale, its when there is one pair on sale for just $12 for 24 hours. The sale ends at midnight. To get the deal go to the Baskit Website.

When we talk about basics, a lot of guys just tune out. They think basic pairs are boring and lack pizzaz and style. They want amazing colors and prints and not just white, black, navy or grey. Well, this basic will leave you wanting more!

The N2N Bodywear Air Basic brief has taken the basic to a new level. The pair has a classic (and fun) n2n waistband. It’s actually a design that you are going to love. Mix that with the classic bikini cut and you have a winner. That alone would make me want this pair, however, they mix in several bright and bold colors!

The colors in this line up are red, orange, royal, kelley, and yellow. Five amazing and bright colors! I am a huge fan of primary colors in general but especially in underwear. Wearing bright fun undies just makes me feel so much better through out the day.

You may be wondering how is N2N doing this? Well we will have a podcast with them soon. This year they have been on fire with amazing pairs after amazing pairs. Every week they release new underwear, swimwear and gear. So stay tuned for that!

Get this line before it’s gone, and yes it will be gone. There are so many pairs that I wanted, that are now GONE. Act fast or you’ll have to wait for the next amazing pair

We asked and you guys answered. We asked if you guys have been wearing swim briefs and where you have been wearing them. Here are the results:

Those who responded wear them either all the time or occasionally. Only about 10% don’t wear them. I should have asked if you don’t, do you wear swim thongs. Because there are guys who don’t like swim briefs who love thongs.

We all can’t be models or have model bodies. So when we asked if you’re an average guy. 82% of you said you were average when almost 8% said you could be a model.

I like to ask this question because the face of underwear and swimwear is changing. It’s not longer a “gay” thing to like underwear. We have a lot of straight and bi readers, who are amazing, that love underwear. So I was curious how many would love swim briefs.

I have been wearing swim briefs since my late teens and it’s cool to see how long people have been wearing them. It seems we have quite a few new guys wearing them! Which is awesome!

Here are some of the things you guys said about swim briefs:

Why do you wear swim briefs?
always very sexy
Beautiful, sexy, maximum tan body
Because when I’m in the pool I’m swimming for exercise, and really, what else would you wear for that?
Cause I love to be seen, and because there are really confortable for swim
Comfort
comfort
Comfort is #1. Then there is the feel of them. And lastly it’s that..”uh yeah I’m wearing a swim brief you prude”.
Comfort, quick drying, grew up with then
Comfort, sexy look & tan
Comfort, support, look
comfort. ease of packing
Comfort. Sex appeal
comfortable, beautiful, sexy and eye-catching
Comfortable, confidence booster
Comfortable, drys quick, better tan
Convenient
Detest all other styles of underwear
dorck shorts are uncool
Easy, comfortable in my hot tub
Feel great and look sexy.
Feels sexy in them
Fit and how my assets look
Habit
Home
I don’t like the tan lines board shorts or trunks leave. I wear brief or bikini underwear. Swim briefs leave a tan line that matches my underwear line. I don’t like that odd tan line board shorts or trunks leave on your legs.
I don’t but I want to
I just love (swim) briefs
I just started wearing them at home
I like both the feel and the look, especially for proper swimming
I like the feel and support. Also, give great tan lines even if you do not do very tanning.
I like the way they look on me and I wear skimpy underwear normally so too much material feels weird
I love briefs in general so why not wear swim briefs at the pool!
I love how they feel.
I love the look, the feel, the comfort, and how they make me feel
I’ve worn them since I was in my teens and swim shorts are just not comfortable.
Less fabric when swimming
Like you, the support is better, they dry so much faster, but most importantly I feel sexier in them. And since they’re still very rare, I like to feel like I’m not following the crowd.
Love the cut
Mainly because I like the “speedo tan line” better than a board shorts tanline with white thighs.
Makes my behind look nice
More comfortable
Never did before but if girls can wear bikinis why can’t guys wear swim briefs
Pool
Quick drying, during sports more movement because of the less fabric and less resistance , tanning during private time. And of course they are damn sexy
Sexy
Sexy
Streamlines the swim, no drag from loose boxer style
Stremlining, closet feel to the water,
Super comfy, sexy, and the most practical for swimming and playing in water.
tan lines are incredibly sexy. show off the hard work ive put into the gym
Tan lines, support, and shorts have way too much fabric.
The cut and sexy look it gives
The exact same reason Tim wears swim briefs. I couldn’t have said it better myself.
The feel good, move well in the water, look better than anything else, and I feel sexy to myself.
They are comfortable and make much more sense that swim trunks
They are more comfortable, have better support, and highlight my assets.
They are sexy, comfortable and you get nice tanlines
They look good
They look good
They make me feel sexy
They make me feel sexy.
They’re sexy
They’re sexy
To attract gay men
To show body & have a good tanline
To show off my bulge and ass

We then asked do you face any challenges wearing them:

Lastly, have you faced any challenges wearing swim briefs in public, if you have let us know.
1 or 2 episodes of harassment — but I’m usually very indifferent to bystanders’ comment,
A couple of strange looks, but usually I get comments like “I wish I had the confidence to wear that”
Being poked fun at by friends.
Body shame
Felt like a beached whale when I was heavy for a decade, thankfully I didn’t live anywhere with lakes or beaches at the time.
have no problem with that, I’m always in the brief
I don’t appreciate the strange looks you get with swim briefs in most places if you don’t have a “model’s body.”
I had no such problems.
I have never been brave enough to wear them in public.
I have not faced any challenges yet.
I haven’t yet
I know I would, but the next swimsuit I’m gonna buy has to be a swim brief
I leave others to do what they like, I simply don’t care
I pretty much wear them at gay pool parties or gay friendly pools only
I sometimes get weird looks from women, but usually thumbs up from men. Otherwise, I’ve had no issues.
I was dismissed from a college pool in California! To have access again I had to wear dorck shorts!
I wear them lap swimming no problems. I sometimes wear a swim thong at the beach, also no problems.
I’m usually “that guy” but I never care about the looks I get.
I’ll wear them depending on situations but in general no. A few snears and laughs but most of the time nothing.
I’m a bit scared
I’m very nervous about it
I’m very nervous about it
Just not a fan of the swim brief fit. I feel like I’m always adjusting, and having wedgies.
Living in North American, it seen as a no no.
Most don’t
My wife isn’t the biggest fan
Never. No one has ever commented on my swim briefs. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing! I think most of the challenges people who wear or want to wear swim briefs have is in their own heads.

No ‘till now, maybe one or two people seeing with a lot of attention, but nobody told anything…
No. The last year only compliments about the funny prints. Therefore some jokes of friends, but I turned one of them to swim boxers in stead boardshorts during swimming.
none
NONE
none so far.
None what so ever
None. But it helps to have a muscular body.
nope
Nope. Even in my beefy state, what others think is not my problem, they are the ones thinking it. It’s their own hang up that they need to deal with. Tits are everywhere in Europe, in newspapers, magazines and most beaches. It’s only Puritan western culture that takes issue with them. That same Puritan mentally is why people are afraid of the brief.
Nope. I get looks but who cares.
not in public
Not yet
Public judgement
Social acceptance in smaller situations. Always wear on vacation
Some jealous stares from other people
Sometimes feels awkward in heavily populated areas
The biggest challenge is building up the confidance to wear them and not let the looks and/or remarks other guys are saying.
They feel revealing, which can be awkward at times as you can feel quite exposed, but it’s also quite liberating.
Wife doesn’t really like me to wear them most places

If you answered the survey or didn’t leave comments about your findings of the survey

Get your mind out of the gutter! We are looking to profile more of the guys who read UNB. This blog would not be almost 11, with out you guys. In the past we have posted Brief Tales, about how you discovered your love of undies. They are basically Underwear origin stories. We want to do more and expand them.

We have so may guys now rocking the swim thongs that it would be great to hear the first time you wore a thong in public. Or, the first time you wore a swim brief. Or tried something new. There is so much to share!

I think one thing that I love about UNB is the community of guys. I want to share more of who you guys are and what you love! If you are interested it’s super simple, just enter the info below and we will be in touch. Come on guys what do you have to loose? You can have a pen name and keep everything confidential.

If you are a long time fan or 2(X)IST, I know you remember the pairs above. These are pairs that launched 2(X)IST into the underwear world and eventually mainstream. It’s a literal blast from the past. It’s the new Heritage Collection.

I remember buying these pairs in the late 1990’s and loving them. The signature waistband, at the time, said you were an underwear lover to anyone who saw it. The thing I loved most about it was it was very “of the time.” Meaning if someone who didn’t know underwear wouldn’t give the waistband any thought, but those who did gave you a knowing look.

The four styles brought back from 1991 are the Fly Front Brief, Contour Pouch Brief, the Low Rise Bikini Brief, and the Y-Back thong. All four of these are classics in the underwear world. If you aren’t old enough to remember them, you need to get a pair and try ASAP.

The Y-Back thong was the very first thong that I wore the entire day. Before that other thongs would drive me crazy, but this thong was amazing to wear all day. Those first thongs I bought got a lot of wear from me back in the day!

If you are a fan of color, you’re out of luck in this collection. Back in the 90’s these were available in just black and white. However there is a heather grey as well. This was the time where men’s underwear went very basic in it’s color choices. I didn’t mind it because they fit so amazing.

These pairs are got 2(X)IST to where it is today. We all knew about Calvin Klein back in the day with their Underwear Models (Marky Mark, etc). At the time I way preferred 2(X)IST’s cut and feel over CK. And a lot of other people did as well. They went on to grow from this humble beginning to what it is today.

It’s amazing to see a company as big as 2(X)IST, go back to its roots and bring back underwear that was just a memory. As I said if you remember these pairs, relive some nostalgia. If you weren’t old enough to wear them the first go-round. Try them out now! Consider it an underwear history lesson from an underwear professor with a Ph.D.!

Shop the new Heritage collection at the 2(X)IST website.
