I love looking through the UNB archives for TBT. This is an amazing pic from Teamm8 from April 2015. We hope you enjoy this look back.
Rating: 10/10
Pros: Pouch lift, athletic styling, colors
Cons: Not a problem for me, but well endowed guys will find the pouch is a bit small and may have a challenging stuffing the sausage & meatballs in them; also, with a double lined cotton pouch, you will have sweaty balls after a workout.
Recommendation: the aussieBum WonderJock Pro (WJ Pro) is a great add to anyone’s collection for price, style, fit, and function. It says a lot when I ‘the Jockstrap Junkie’ goes back for repeat purchase instead of just moving on to the next brand/style. Hopefully, aussieBum never retires the WJ Pro!
I purchased my first WJ Pro in February of 2016 and still wear them today. The elastic is finally wearing out on the legstraps, so I just bought a coupler more of the WJ Pro to replenish. I’ve been an aussieBum customer for several years and have thoroughly enjoyed aussieBum’s products with only a few misses (I’ll review the Tonka Jockstrap another time). To say I have a history with aussieBum is an understatement as my collection includes aussieBum’s WJ Air, Lasher, Flashr, Samurai, Enlarge It, and Hunk jockstraps. I was a bit skeptical on the enhancement feature; however it’s proven to be a functional asset for me.
Because I’ve been wearing the WJ Pro for several years, I’ve had the opportunity to wear these jockstraps for sleeping, daily wear, lifting, throwing, cardio, and lounging around. The aussieBum WJ Pro is a great all around jockstrap. One of the great benefits of the ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology’ is when I’m on the rowing machine as it keeps the sausage & meatballs out of the way of my thighs. Nobody likes flattened meatballs, or they would have ordered a hamburger.
A composition of 90% cotton and 10% spandex make the WJ Pro. The waistband has a nice width of 1-1/2” and the legstraps have a width of 1-1/4”. The legstraps attach to the waistband in the traditional positions and I would consider this to be a low rise on the hips and front. The pouch’s ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology’ & ‘Free Swing Boost’ make for an interesting fit as everything is contained snugly, but also pronounced out front. For those not familiar with ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology, it’s simply a fabric gusset going horizontally in the interior of the pouch where one places his sausage & meatballs over the gusset into the pouch for a lifting effect. The construction quality is also top notch with the pouch being double stitched and the center seam in the pouch is smooth.
Large is the size I purchased and is the norm for me in aussieBum jockstraps which I find their size chart runs on point for their jockstraps. Other styles in aussieBum I switch it up between large and extra-large and that’s due to thigh size, not waist.
aussieBum is a staple in my jockstrap drawer and I highly recommend trying out aussieBum, especially their WJ Pro jockstraps. The WJ Pro and its cousin the WJ Air are worth the add to your collection. They’re fun, stylish, but still have that athletic look & feel. Plus, they make my sausage look a little plumper!

Are you looking for a classically styled line of underwear? You may have seen Cut4Men on a few brief
Not all underwear has to be over the top and skimpy. Sometimes a classic cut brief can be both sexy and stylish at the same time. Everyone’s definition of sexy is different. I think most guys into undies would agree that it’s the tease and leaving things to the imagination, is why they like undies so much.
Cut4Men’s priority is to deliver a unique experience to its customers by offering a product of superior quality using carefully chosen materials. The fabric they use won’t shrink or lose their shape after many washings.
The underwear all features a plush waistband, contoured pouch, and super soft lightweight cotton. Some of the undies have a discreet built-in holder for a removable pad in the front of the pouch. It’s just in the brief and boxers only. It gives you a natural look and preserve aesthetics, improve comfort, and provide a natural front enhancement. In addition to the pad, in the back of the boxers and trunks have a natural lift system!
The styles in underwear are brief, trunk, boxer, and a biker. There are also several different shirts. The four different styles: tank, crew neck, V-neck, and deep V-neck. Find out more at Cut4Men.
Where would we be without influencers on social media? Guys promoting underwear and positivity in the world of underwear. This is a new category that we created. I think it is well over due to recognize the guys out there who are putting a face with amazing undies.

Thongs have always been a phenomenon with UK men’s underwear specialists Deadgoodundies.com. “They’re our best-selling secret,” smiles DGU founder Adam Davies, as he explains… “Since we launched in 2007, male strings have been massively, and consistently, popular with customers around the world.”
Demand for g-string and t-string designs tends to be strong, but silent. Even avid thong wearers keep quiet about their style choice and only a handful of bricks and mortar retailers in the UK stock them.
“This is where shopping online and DGU’s plain parcels are much appreciated,” says Adam. “We continue not just to buy the best thongs and strings from the brands we stock, but to push for more – though several collections feature fewer and fewer.”
Having said that, Deadgoodundies has a massive selection (https://www.deadgoodundies.com/mens-underwear/shop-by-style/strings-and-thongs) ready for spring, from ‘invisible’ nude thongs to bright and neon solids, colourful prints, lace, silky mesh, strappy designs, matt and glistening finishes. The thong theme goes beyond ‘bottoms’ to include string bodies and unusual designs combining a boxer brief and thong in one.
And a final bit of advice from Adam: “Our policy it to keep a handful of favourite thongs and strings permanently in stock, topped up almost on a weekly basis by new seasonal designs – but we only ever have a few of each so they run out fast. This way we can guarantee there is always something new for DGU fans.”

hese are two of the most popular categories in our reader awards. The Brief and the Bikini. For most of us, these are our top styles wear each day. They are favorites we have come to love over the year.
Most of the readers in our Reader Survey each year back this up! Now if we could get the main population back to briefs, that would be amazing. But that’s a convo for another post.
We have some great pairs this year. We have also expanded the number of briefs and bikinis in each category. We used to have 5 or 6, now we have up to 9 in the group. It’s hard to narrow down some many great pairs each year.
The other good thing about this class of nominees is you can go classic or fun. It all depends on what your favorites are, either way, you can’t go wrong, both are super sexy.
The Nominees in each category are:
