Men’s Underwear

I love a good underwear challenge and have debated doing another UNB Challenge. Still, before I could decide, our very own Andy, aka Scruffygear and the Thongslut, created this super fun challenge for February. You maybe ask why do you like a challenge. They allow guys to participate in the whole month or take part on certain days. Plus, they are a fun way to get guys to celebrate their love of undies.

Here is the list for February, go have fun with the rest of the month

There’s a sign in our office that reads, “If you’ve got it, give it Baskit!”

Get your mind out of the gutter…when we talk about “it” around here, we mean a real zest for life – a desire to reject the norm and put yourself out there. But sometimes even the best of us need an attitude adjustment.

We need something that reminds us to accentuate the positive when we start our day.

Our X collection is that little nudge. It’s designed to put some of your best assets forward. So, slide into a pair of X, step in front of the mirror, and remember that you’ve got what it takes to make today count. X…your day starts here

Today only the Baskit X-Brief is on sale for $12.

Bodysuits are one of the biggest trends in men’s gear over the last few years. Go Softwear has created the B2E Noir Aerial Body Suit. “THE B2E AERIAL BODY SUIT IS CREATED IN SOFT RAYON/SPANDEX FABRIC THAT FEELS LIKE A SECOND SKIN, PERFECT TO AMPLIFY THE MALE FORM. THIS ONE PIECE HAS A SCOOP NECK FRONT, WIDE ARMHOLE OPENINGS, FULL BACKSIDE DESIGN AND A SEXY MESH V-FRONT INSET THAT DRAWS ATTENTION TO THE TORSO. THIS PIECE IS GREAT FOR FITNESS, WRESTLING, LOUNGING OR WEAR IT AS A SEXY-FEEL GOOD ITEM”

It’s been a year already, I have had several issues over the last few months that have taken my time away from UNB. I have not abandoned it, and I just had to put a few things ahead of it. I hope that changes this year and I can be back at it. Luckily nothing major like Vegas 2020. There was. No hospital stays, but a stream of bad luck. But enough of my issues.

You may be asking why we need larger sizes in men’s underwear. We need to see guys who look great in undies. Well, the first response is everyone has a different standard of beauty and what’s hot. We all have our type, and one guy loves to see a muscular guy in a thong, another wants to see a bear in that same thong.

In the US, one thing to know is that the average man’s waist size is 38-40 inches. Yes, I just said 38-40 inches. The research I did on Google, for the most part, had this sizing. Some of the posts said 35, but I don’t think that is correct for everyone. If we are talking about the gay, average waist size, I could see it being smaller, closer to 34, but we are talking all sexual orientations.

UNB has always been a proponent that underwear is for everyone, not just gay guys. As we have progressed over the last 13 years, I have seen this come to fruition. The number of straight guys who love bikinis and thongs has gone mainstream. Well, mainstream in the world of underwear lovers. Each passing year we get more and more guys buying undies. One of the biggest complaints I have heard over the years is getting good undies in their size.

Speaking from the perspective of a guy over the 40-inch waist mark, I can attest that it’s hard to find good underwear in the style I like wearing. My preference is a pouch brief or bikini. I do not want boxer briefs without a pouch. Once you get oversize 38, it seems that most only make boxer briefs for bigger guys. That’s fine if you like or love the style (yes, we have boxer brief fans out there). However, if you don’t like it and want to feel sexy, your selection is limited.

I’m not going to throw brands under the bus in this post. There are so many brands that only make sizes up to 38 or even 36. Or they make singlets and spandex and don’t go into larger sizes either. First, making larger sizes in gear is not just for guys with a bigger waist but also for tall guys. I am 6’4,” and when I was a 34/35 waist, I needed an XL or bigger in gear to fit my height. But don’t get me on the Singlet tangent.

If we want to expand the market for more guys, we need to consider having bigger sizes in sexy undies. It’s refreshing to see Candyman investing in making their sexy undies in larger sizes. Note that I do sell Candyman in the UNB Store. However, I have no input on the brand or what they design. Their latest shoot mixes the bigger guy with traditional models. I think it’s their hottest shoot yet. Not only because it’s a sexually charged shoot, but it’s a mix of body types.

I want to see brands that are devoted to larger guys who love skimpy undies. We do have brands catering to this crowd, but they are still doing some basic styles a lot of times. I’m not knocking these brands at all. I’m so happy they are making undies up to 5XL. They are carving out their spot in the underwear market and succeeding. I want to see more brands like Candyman creating sexy underwear. My ideal is a thong brand just for bigger guys.

Some of you out there will read this and go, “this doesn’t apply to me.” And so you know when I was in my 20’s I was a 31-33 waist. As I have aged and my metabolism slowed, things changed. I would have never thought in my 20’s I would have this waist size, but that’s life, and things happen. Even if you are a muscular guy, support your fellow underwear lovers out there who want to wear sexy undies. It’s time to let all men have the undies they love and feel sexy wearing the size they need.

The new NUQUÍ collection from JOR had its photo session on the beautiful beaches of the Colombian Pacific, specifically NUQUÍ, hence its name. For this collection, we were accompanied by Andrés Zapata, our handsome flagship model, and our new image, Leo Lizardy, a beautiful and sexy Venezuelan boy currently based in Medellín Colombia. They invite you to discover our new collection full of color and patterns inspired by Chinese and Japanese culture.

This collection is out on the JOR site but not in US stores just yet. If you must get some, shop the JOR international shop.

Candyman just dropped their newest collection for bigger guys, like me. This collection takes the sexy Candyman undies and makes them in larger sizes. I know many out there, like me, have seen undies only to look at the sizing and see it goes up to 36 inches or less. We deserve to get some amazing sexy undies as well.

This collection takes what we love about Candyman and makes it more accessible. The sizing goes up to a 42-inch waist. This extends the regular sizes of Candyman by 4 inches (up from 38 inches). It’s great to see that they are continuing this line. Last year they released the first extended sizes, and now they are updating them.

Now let’s talk about the pics; these pics are HOT. The pics mix some of the regular-size models with a bigger guy. Not only did they go over the top, but these pics are just HOT. They definitely encourage you to walk on your wild side. Check out the entire Candyman collection in extended sizes.

Also, we are giving you 20% off all Candyman with code Candy20 at check out at the UNB Store. Go shop and pick up some of your favorite styles or try something new.

The most famous pair of Baskit on UNB is the $12 pair today, that pair is the Just /b/ Trunks. I say this because our review on YouTube was on track to hit 1M views. We were around 750,000 and YouTube flagged us with a TOS violation. We appealed but were denied. Eight years ago we put it on Vimeo.

I’m not one for boxer briefs. They are just one step above boxers, in my opinion. However, there is just one style that I love. That is the biker, as N2N Bodywear calls them. Bikers are long boxer briefs that are super tight on your leg and have the most incredible pouches. This pair solves my problem with boxer briefs. The first is they ride up or lose form, and the second is no pouch.

N2N Bodywear just dropped the N2NU BIKER. Here is what N2N says about the biker. “Welcome to N2N U. Besides striving for excellence in academics. We are a huge supporter of sexy campus attire. That means anything sexy, snug, and bulge enhancing! That means the N2NU BIKER SHORT!”

The new style comes in two different colors, Royal or Mango.

If you love N2N Bodywear or love this style, check it out. Even if you don’t like this style, get one. I can almost guarantee you will like this pair. N2N Bodywear makes some of the best bikers on the market. I can’t wait to see the bikers they create for swimwear this summer.
