Alex is back with another great review. This time he’s showing you guys the MaleBasics Spot brief. If you are a fan of MaleBasics or just curious about the pair watch the video and see how he liked them. These were furnished for review by MaleBasics.
Having been a lover of underwear for over 10 years it only seemed natural to seek out an outlet for me to share my love with other likeminded men. This led me to the incredibly educational yet intriguing blog of Underwear News Briefs. Cheeky in its title, I knew I had found a place that I could call home and a group of guys that I could call a team. Who wouldn’t want to play for an underwear team? 🙂
To break in my first review on UNB, I decided to take advantage of a pair of underwear that brought two of my favorite things together. I am a brief, jock, and thong guy. Many men can get concerned about taking that plunge into the jockstrap or thong realm for fear of it appearing “too gay” or “feminine,” but not me. I enjoy the two for their sexy look, feel, and showcase of my favorite part of the male body; the butt. Imagine my excitement when I learned that Andrew Christian created the Show It Jock Thong, combining two of my favorites into one exceptional pair of underwear. It took me no time to have one be mine. I have had a few other pairs of Andrew Christian underwear in briefs, jocks, and thongs before and have enjoyed all of my previous purchases.
I decided to give the pair a good long day of use to get a sense of its comfort level and flexibility in my day. After stepping out of the shower, I pulled them up and slid all of the straps into position. One strap circling each of my butt cheeks while one strap slid nicely along the center of my butt to the waistband. The perfect jock thong combo! At first feel, everything is where it is supposed to be and holding everything in place nicely. I did notice some additional support in the pouch which seemed to offer a closer body feel around the testicles, to keep them up and in place.
My day consisted of my typical 9 to 5 job where I do various normal activities of driving, sitting, standing, and walking. I felt comfortable for a majority of my day, feeling like I was wearing a pair that offered all of the coverage and support I needed, as far as everyone knew. Under my suit, I know I showed a different naughty side. There is something appealing in the mind about being a businessman in a suit on the outside and knowing that this incredibly sexy look is hidden underneath. I went out to lunch with coworkers, had meetings, and worked at my desk, all in a state of comfort. At times, the tighter straps by the testicles required some adjusting to keep everything comfortable, which seems normal in any pair of underwear at some point during the day. It seemed as though I would occasionally have to lift everything up to free them of the straps around the package because they got too tight up against the testicles.
I am a 32″ waist and purchased the Medium which covers 30-32 inch waists. Everything fits me fine and I made it through the whole day without feeling like I was wearing underwear that was too small or too big. It fit just right. I feel that they have sized this pair to truth and the future purchasers will hopefully not have any problems with this choice.
Overall, this is a very sexy pair of underwear that add something different to an ever expanding drawer. Men who appreciate a jockstrap but are nervous about trying a thong may feel that this is a good middle step to take. Not only is it sexy but it is functional. You can make it comfortably through a work day, including lunch and meetings, without feeling uneasy about what is under your khakis. My only dislike with the pair was the pouch as I did find myself having to adjust myself a few times during the day from the way the strap set against one side of my testicles. Another major complaint is that I only see it available in black! I am hoping more colors become available so I can add many of these too my underwear drawer.
Andrew Christian did not let me down in my excitement of a jock and thong combination. I recommend this pair to anyone who enjoys wearing a jockstrap or a thong and to anyone looking to fix their intimidation of a thong. I look forward to wearing this in the future, especially on an upcoming date 🙂 Stay tuned……
Pros:
- Sexy look
- Innovative design of a jock and thong coming together
- Soft, comfortable material
Cons:
- Not enough lift support in the pouch
- Limited selection- hopefully the beginning of a great new design with many options
- Daily Fit = 8
- Sizing = 9
- Construction/Materials = 8

I have been seeing Ken Wroy at Magic for a few trips now. They are a company that has their own unique style. The prints are fun and different. Its not something you see out in the market! For many of our readers that’s an important thing! I know many of you want to have something not every one has.
This is my first pair of Ken Wroy I have ever worn. As I said above I was really looking forward to it. I received this pair in Vegas at Magic. This is one of the few pairs I have ever received there. Normally most just show the new line and rarely give out samples. I know many of you out there think you should score big time there. So I was super happy to get a pair.
I am not a big trunk fan. So when I took them out of the box, I was unsure how it would fit. I will say it worried me a little. I normally like my underwear a little stretchier. But, I am giving this a chance I told myself. I slid them on and noticed the legs were a little tight but not uncomfortable. Which I think is a good thing I will explain in a bit.
I wore these to run errands one day. So these would get a work out from me. The fears of them not fitting or loosing their shape were quickly put to rest. I think the tight legs kept the pair in place for the day. I liked how they gripped my legs. However, there is one thing that really surprised me was the pouch. I wasn’t expecting a defined pouch. But what it had was super supportive and fit me great. I didn’t have to adjust or worry about it bunching. I really liked these a lot, I wasn’t expecting to really enjoy them since I’m not a big trunk fan.
The sizing was pretty spot on for me. I am a 38 waist, yeah I have gone back up a bit, but working on getting it down again. But the XL fit me great. There was no binding and really issues.
Pros:
- Great Fit and this from a non boxer brief fan
- Fun color, I loved the orange
Cons:
- Legs maybe tight on guys with larger thighs
- Cotton material is not “stretchy”

- Daily Fit – 9.5

I will admit I”m a fan of the AC line for it’s pouches. In the previous reviews I wore the Almost Naked and Trophy Boy briefs. This time I have the NanoFit Breeze Brief. I have one other NanoFit brief and it’s one of my favorites. A friend gave it to me and I love it. So when I got the chance to try another I was all over it.
I was looking forward to trying the NanoFit Breeze Brief because I had a busy day. It included a Lunch with a friend moving this month, followed by shopping with another and Dinner with other friends. So it was going to be on the go. ATL was a little warm, well for this winter, 60+ degrees. So I wanted something that wouldn’t make me too hot.
The first thing I noticed was that the pair breifs really breathes. Its made out of a light weight material that had a great pouch that conformed to me. There is nothing I hate more than a pair that looses shape during the day. So I got my air cut that morning and headed to lunch. The pair really felt great, gave me ample support but the test was going shopping. Running around for a few hours I forgot what I was wearing.
This is giong to be in the top of my underwear drawer. As many long time readers know the top drawer are my favorites for every day wear. It will go in my usual rotation.
The sizing for Andrew Christian is pretty good. I got an XL to fit my 38 (and hopefully 36) waist pretty well. In previous reviews the legs were a little tight and this pair didn’t have that issue. The legs fit great and no binding at all. Make sure you double check the sizing chart when buying.
Pros:
- Great fit
- Has the great AC pouch
- Made for an active day
Cons:
- May not be good for a winter day (but perfect for summer/spring)
- Sizing can be an issue (always check chart)

I am reviewing the Gregg Homme Snakeskin Thong from the Gregg Homme New Collection. So first let me preface this review by saying, I am deathly afraid of snakes. I absolutely cannot stand them. I can’t even watch them on TV without have to leave the room. However, when I got these in the mail, I couldn’t wait to get them on. The initial look and feel of these were amazing. There was not way I was going to be running in the opposite direction from these bad boys. Not only was the styling really cool, but they were from Gregg Homme so the “sexy” factor was going to be awesome as well. This particular style come in string, boxer brief and brief cuts.
Ok, so I am a thong guy! I don’t mind wearing them at all. The “floss” effect doesn’t annoy me one bit. I think they are sexy and most guys give them a bad wrap. I have not always been a fan but keeping an open mind when it comes to undies, is something that I have always tried to do. I wore this pair to work on day and they did a really good job. It was a pretty average day of meetings and sitting at my desk, but I really didn’t mind these at all. The pouch up front was very room and held everything in place. It also seemed to lift my package a little while gave the illusion that it was bigger, which was something else that I really liked. I will take all the help I can get! The waistband is only ½ an inch thick so it is very minimal and it’s made out of a faux-suede material, which is super, soft and comfy. They also have the Gregg Homme Logo stitched to the waistband front and center. The pattern is so amazing. It really looks like true snakeskin. The material is soft and stretchy, so your “snake” has plenty of room to grow if it needs too!
I got a size medium for this review, and it fit great. I usually wear a medium and these fit true to size. The pouch up front was roomy and added plenty of support and the string up the back was thin and hardly noticeable at all. These are all things that I look for in a great fitting thong. One of the other things that I really liked about this thong is the “Y” shaped back. Most thongs are just a string from the bottom of the pouch all the way up the back. These added a little more sexiness as the pattern is carried around to the Y-Back, This added just a little extra coverage and stability to the back of the waistline. I wouldn’t feel the need to go up or down a size if you are thinking about purchasing these. They are very true to size!
Like I said, I wore these all day at work and I thought they did a great job. However, I would probably keep these in the drawer for a date night or when I know they will get the attention they deserve. But it is nice to know that they will work for everyday wear if I am feel like adding a little “sexy” to my work day. The pattern and fit are also amazing and everything about the thong is spot on. The one thing that I didn’t like, and this is so small, but the seam where the pouch and the “thong” met up was a little bulky. Nothing that would make sure throw these to the side by any means, but it was something that I noticed and is important when finding a great thong!
Overall, I really like this thong. When I found out I was getting it, I really wasn’t sure what to think, but I am so glad that I had the opportunity to review this. I don’t think this is the thong for the “first time thong buyer”, but if you like thongs and have worn them before, this is one you should add to your wish list. The pattern along makes me what to try one of the other cuts from this collection. The material is awesome and just an overall well constructed thong! I have worn this a couple times now since I have received it to review, and every time I put it on, I love it just a little more!
PROs:
- The Pattern and Material is one that you have to see and experience to really get an idea of how AWESOME it is.
- The Y-Back adds a little extra coverage around back but doesn’t take away from any other part of these undies.
- The waistband is thin and amazing comfortable. Didn’t dig in and everything stayed right where it needed to.
- The Pouch is roomy and supportive.
CONs:
- The only one that I have is the little seam between the pouch and the thong is a little bulky.

I am reviewing the Gregg Homme Rodeo Boxer Brief in Red from Gregg Homme’s new collection. I have tried a few other pairs of undies by Gregg Homme in the past but it had been a while, so I was really excited to see what his new collection was all about. When I first got these in the mail, the first thing that really caught my eye was the fun plaid pattern. When I took them out of the package I got another surprise. They are made of a somewhat sheer material, which I really liked. It provides just enough transparency to show off what you are rockin’ without being too reveling. It totally added an element of “sexy” that I have come to expect from Gregg Homme. This whole line comes in Blue, Yellow and Red. You can also get this style in trunks, jock, string or a thong. All are VERY sexy
I wore the Rodeo Boxer Briefs to work for a day and I can honestly say that they did a great job. The material is very thin, but it feels very strong. The waistband was very comfortable as well. The waistband is a standard 1” elastic band. However that is where it stops being “standard” It has a fun brown and black southern pattern to it, which go right along with the styling and pattern of the brief itself. The one thing that I didn’t really care for was the opening around the legs. They were a little tight for my muscular thighs and I found that they did cut into my leg a little bit after I had been wearing them for a little while. I also noticed that they didn’t stay in place really well and leg openings did ride up a little into my crotch area. With that, the material actually stretched and I did not get the feeling that my boys were being squished. For the most part they wore great during all daywear. I did switch out of them before hitting the gym. I am not sure how they would hold up. These are a pair that I will save for date night for sure.
The pair that I got from Gregg Homme to review was a size Medium, which is what I usually wear. The Rodeo Boxer Brief fit very true to size. I didn’t have any issues with the waist being to tight or a lack of coverage. I have a little bit of a bubble butt and these fit perfect. The only thing I would comment on sizing is again the leg openings. They were a little tight for me, but then again I have more muscular thighs then most guys my size. I would say if you are looking at buying a pair of these, you can stick with what you usually get and you will be happy. They were roomy in the front and fit great around the waist.
So there are a lot of things that I really liked about this pair after wearing them for the day. First the overall look of these. I have a little bit of a thing for country boys, so this I thought the pattern and styling was spot on. I love the fact that the material is so lightweight and sheer, yet doesn’t feel like you could put your finger through it, if you pushed hard enough. The waistband is comfortable and it adds to the styling of the undies. I didn’t like the fact that they legs were not cut to fit my body style. I think if they would have added a little more elastic “stretch” to them, I would have liked these even more.
Overall, I really did like these undies. Gregg Homme is a great brand and I have enjoyed all the pairs that I have every reviewed from them, and this pair is no different. These are going to the top of my undies drawer when it comes to date night. They are sexy and fun. They are not over the top crazy but yet fun enough to provide just enough spice to your night.
PROs:
- They have a fun and sexy pattern and materials
- Great coverage and they fit true to size
- Waistband is well incorporated into the overall style of the undies, plus it is super comfy.
CONs:
- Leg opening is a little tight for guy with bigger or muscular thighs
- They tend to ride up after wearing for a long period of time.
Overall Rating:
- Daily Fit: 8
- Sizing: 10
- Construction and Materials: 10
- Styling: 10
- Daily Performance: 7
- Overall: 9

I was really excited to try this pair out. The previous Trophy Boy pair I bought from Andrew Christian has been one of my favorites so this one I hoped would live up to the expectations I had for it. The one thing that struck me was the Trophy Boy branded waistband. Every other pair has and Andrew Christian logoed band. This one I think they did because if you see it over the top of your jeans you will know exactly what it means.
One reason I really like this range is because it gives extra room. Granted not all guys are a like, but those of us who need it, its always appreciated. Andrew Christian has done great things for pouches with men. It started with the Almost Naked line and now is part of the Trophy Boy line!
I wore these running errands again. From the time I got up till 6 PM I was on the go. I choose this pair for this day because I knew from the previous pair it would hold up well. And this pair really didn’t disappoint. They gave me great support through out the day running around and being on the go. The worst things that can happen to me are to loose support or have the undies bunch up. I loved the waistband but don’t think any one who saw it knew what I was wearing. It kind of makes you want to show it off to see who notices and knows what it is.
Andrew Christian is good with sizing. He doesn’t go up too big in the XL but if you look at the size chart you should be able to find the right size. I haven’t heard to much negative about their sizing except that many wished the upper sizes went to 40 rather then 36. But I have a 38 waist and the XL fit me very well.
The only complaint and it seems to be a common one with this is the legs are a little tight when you put them on. Not sure why that is but if you have big thighs you may not like these. I haven’t had this problem with previous lines but all the new undies from AC seem to have this. Things I did like were the pouch, which fit great. It gives you a very ergonomic support. It feels like the underwear was made just for you. I Love the new branded waistband, it makes you feel a little cheeky if someone saw it.
Pros:
- Ergonomic designed pouch, feels made for me
- New Trophy Boy branded waistband
- Great materials
Cons:
- Tight in the legs, so guys with bigger thighs maybe too tight
- XL just goes up to 36 waist.

We posted our first review yesterday with Alex’s Video review and we have quite a few more Andrew Christian pairs to review! The pair I got to review is the Limited Edition Almost Naked Holiday Air Jock. Wearing jock briefs always makes me feel a bit naughty. I’m not sure why, after so many years wearing underwear and every style imaginable you don’t think I would, but I do!
I was really excited to try this because it’s a very light pair and has one of my most favorite pouches. The Almost Naked line ahs been one of the favorite lines I have since it first came out. It’s a pair that fits and gives amazing support. This pouch never lets me down!
What did the review consist of? Well it was a Monday and I wanted a pair that would make the day bright. This did just that, the read breathable material and the gold waistband made me very happy. I wore it through a busy day at work and then followed by errands for the afternoon. It held up great. I was super happy. When I slide these on the legs was a little tight. They didn’t bind or stay stiff.
I know there are guys who don’t want a jock brief because they don’t like the cut out in the back. This pair is I really didn’t notice the cut out that much. It really felt like a brief. The material was super light and felt great. So the combination of the two made this a great pair for me.
The sizing with Andrew Christian is pretty much as said on the size charts. The only complaint I have is the pairs are a little tight to put on in the legs, but that doesn’t distract from the pair. I wore an XL and have a closer to 38 waist right now, gained a few back, but they fit great.
Pros:
- Limited Edition Pair
- Great materials
- Felt like a brief
- Almost Naked pouch
Cons:
- Legs were a little tight
- Not for all guys unless you like a jock brief

First let me start off saying this pair maybe out of stock. But, there are other colors than the limited edition pair. We got a lot of Andrew Christian to review. Over the next few weeks you’ll see them. I choose this pair because it was limited edition and for Valentine’s Day.
Andrew Christian to me makes really great underwear. His Almost Naked and Trophy Boy are some of my favorite undies. They fit me great and are made for a guy with extra up front.
There are several reasons why I choose this pair to review. The first was for the color. The Valentine’s Day inspired pair is red/pink with white mesh in the back. I don’t have any fun pairs for Valentines Day. The second reason is the pouch is a separate piece and allows easy access. It seems to be a trend to create just pouches that either aren’t attached or just a pouch.
I said above I chose this, knowing I didn’t like pairs with pouches that detach or enhance. When I got to put this on I realized this and thought, “oh no I maybe in trouble.” I slide the pair on and the leg openings were a little tight. It made me wonder if it was too tight through out the day. After I pulled it up, it didn’t feel too tight. I just hoped it would last! Second, I slid my junk through the opening and put it in the pouch. The pouch really worried me. I was worried I would all our and through the day it would require constant adjustment.
As the day went on, I kind of forgot that I was wearing pouch underwear. The initial fears didn’t come through. The pouch was supportive and held me in place all day. I was really impressed. They did a great job on this pouch. The bonus was going to the bathroom all you had to do was lift the pouch up and then put it back down. Next the leg openings didn’t feel tight. I have had pairs in the past that drove me crazy and had to go!
I wore this pair running errands. I knew this would put the pouch to the test. It was about 6 hours of running around and driving. About an hour in I forgot about my concerns and just enjoyed the pair. It amazed me how well the pair felt. There was just the right amount of tension to keep the pouch in place all day. The mesh in back was a great touch too. Its sexy but not over the top.
Pros:
- Fun Valentine’s Color
- Great fit
- Loved the mesh panels, sexy for Valentine’s day
Cons:
- Pull off pouch – some may not like the fit
- If you have large thighs the pair may be too tight

Talk about a fun pair of underwear. 2wink is one of the newest brands to come from Down Under. Bright colors and body hugging styles are the hallmark of their collection. As soon as I took them out of the package I was excited to try them on. The fabric felt amazing in my fingers, so I knew I would love wearing them.
I wore them to work one day under my suit. Just a typical day of sitting at my desk with the occasional stroll around the office to stretch my legs. The pouch has an opening to put everything through, and it definitely makes a statement. I couldn’t help but wonder if I was giving amore prominent bulge than usual. I love a good pair of underwear that keeps everything pushed slightly forward. So much more comfortable to me. The rear straps did a superb job of keeping my rear lifted and needed very little adjustment throughout the day.
The styling on this brief is wonderful. The waistband has the 2wink logo in red on black, so it’s eye catching without being too in your face. The black piping on the legs and framing the pouch give you nice clean lines. And the graffiti pouch. What a creative look. Anyone who sees it is going to want a closer look. I got them in a size medium; they fit me perfectly (I have a 31” waist).
I would definitely recommend this pair of underwear to anyone who wants to spice up their collection.
Pros:
- great support, front and back
- eye-catching pattern
- cotton/spandex blend feels great on the skin
Cons:
- would love to see them in more graffiti patterns

The pair I am reviewing today is the Booty Brief by Gregg Homme. When I got these I was surprised how thin they looked. Pulling them out of the package made me worry how they would hold up against my bubble butt, the material seemed really thin. I was also worried about the white pouch as if it would be see through. This was my first pair by Gregg Homme so I wasn’t sure what to expect, I just knew he does some wilder styles. It comes in red, black, green, blue, purple and the white I got.
I wore this pair to work where I sit for most of the day. I also wore it out to IKEA and then building a dresser. They got a nice work out for a day. They occasionally would slip down on my ass some but then I would pull them up and it was fine. I actually liked pulling them up because it would cause the middle strap to slip between my cheeks and feel like a thong. After the day I gave them I think they would hold up to an active day.
I had the small size of these briefs which covers a 29 to 31 inch waist. The sizing was really true to size. I am a 28 to 29 waist normally so they fit me good. I think part could be my bubble butt helps to hold things into place more too.
I really liked how different this pair looked. They are unique and will get me lots of attention. I really liked that the middle strap would go up my crack and make me feel like I had a thong on but also briefs as well. The pouch was amazing as well. It clung to me perfectly and showed off the goods. The thinness of the fabric on the butt really made me nervous. I don’t feel like it would hold up for everyday use if I wore them often. I think I would have felt more comfortable if the middle strap was thicker so that when it rides into the crack you don’t worry about it ripping.
Pros:
- sexy looking and comfortable material
- pouch fits extremely well
Cons:
- material felt thin
- slits made the butt kinda cold

Over the last year 2EROS has really come into their own. I remember their launching in 2006 with some great colors and photography. They really made me take notice. Jason over there keeps designing amazing undies that always surprises me. I got to try them for the first time last year and loved each and every pair. This time I get to try the Neo Jock.
My first impressions were it’s pretty cool. The color I got was the Red color. The mix of the black and bright color was an amazing contrast. The second thing I liked was the pouch. There is a fly that is fully functional at the top of the pouch. At first I thought this was crazy but after wearing it was really cool. I wondered if it would sag or not be functional through out the day. Another impression is the straps are lower then traditional jocks. It’s more a brief cut that is a jock, it’s almost full cut across the front.
I wore this pair for some errands and a busy day so I knew a jock would be perfect for the day. I slide the pair on and the straps take a little work. I’m used to the straps getting on right form the start, these took a little work to get in the right position. I had the worry that because it was different position it would be annoying, But once on they stayed in place and felt great. So, I want you guys to know the straps are a little different. The pouch is great. I even used the fly. Not to be crude but the waist band is high and to go to the bathroom I said what the heck, I used the fly and put everything back in and it never felt like it lost its shape.
The sizing is a little smaller then we expect but not really bad. I wear a 36-38 and wore an X-large. But double check the sizing charts. The fabric on these felt great. It’s a modal blend and really feels amazing. Modal has fast become one of my favorite fabrics for underwear. Because it’s soft and feels amazing!
One last thing I forgot about is there is a rubber tag in the back. It’s interesting and fun. I felt it a few times but to me it wasn’t bad. It’s a cool thing they added to make it a little more fun. So it’s mix of fun and fetish!
Pros:
- Great Color Combinations
- Incredible Modal Fabric
- Fly is fully functional
Cons:
- Straps may bother some – I found them good after adjusting
- Rubber Tag some may not like aesthetically

I’m sad to say this is my last Gregg Homme review. I really love them and their take on undies. The previous reviews were for the Cowboy Thong and Baller Boxer. This time I have the For Play Brief. Anytime I get to put on a pair of Gregg Homme I always get excited to see what they have done. This pair was no different.
The pair I have today is the For Play briefs which are a fun low-rise pair. The pair has an interesting V design in front. Meaning, most briefs have a straight line where the waistband is, this one the elastic kinda wraps around you and then continues on to the leg band. It’s a fun design.
The material is similar to that of the Baller Boxer. It was very light and stretchy and conforms to your body and was semi-sheer. I think a bit more sheer then the Baller, but that could be because of this pair was black. The description on the Gregg Homme site is: The FORPLAY brief by Gregg Homme is a classic-coverage undergarment made from an elegant, stripe-textured semi-transparent hyperstretch material, featuring a two-tone folded elastic running diagonally above its center-seamed pouch. The FORPLAY brief has a center-seamed seat for added definition, ¼-ich waistband and Gregg Homme logo tag at back center.
I wore these around the house and errands and then a night out. During the day they fit great. My biggest concern was the pair was would be too low cut and would that bother me? Luckily it didn’t cause any fit issues. During the day I wore regular jeans but changed into the same jeans I wore out with the Cowboy Thong review. Being low cut and the low rise jeans were a perfect combo. Not once did the undies show over the waistband.
Sizing with these as I have said are spot on. You shouldn’t have any sizing issues they fit my 36/38 inch waist in an XL. But double check the sizing charts to be sure.
One thing I want to note about Gregg Homme. They make very well made underwear. They are pricy but they hold up. I think every pair I have ever bought is in my line up still. The materials and construction are some of the best in the industry. So when you get a pair you’ll have it for a while, so don’t let the price scare you off. I think the oldest pair is 3-4 years old and still holding up awesome.
Pros:
- Great low rise design
- V Front makes it super sexy
- Amazing Materials
Cons:
- Pricy for undies, but will hold up over time
- Semi-sheer so not for the conservative/shy guy

Its not every day I get a pair of underwear that costs $100. Yes you heard me right, I got a pair of Frigo that retails for $100. Our friends over at Fresh Pair gave us this pair to review. So I was kinda excited to really put on a pair that has been profiled on the Today Show and other news outlets. This is a pair that I think will have a market but it will be highly specialized and those who wear it will love it and be worth every penny. Be warned this will be a LONG review.
The pair I got is the Frigo No. 1 Exclusive Boxer Briefs. The pair has been designed amazingly. When I took it out of the package the quality of the material was evident. Have you ever buy a pair of undies and when you feel them you know it’s high quality? That’s what I got with the Frigo. It was a very strong nylon/spandex blend. Which I personally love. I looked at the pair and there were air holes, mesh panels and a really interesting pouch. The mesh panels are not ones that are see through to show off but for cooling. This pair is designed for intense sporting activities. The technology behind the pair is amazing. You can tell they spent time on the pair. I was really excited to try the pair, but my question was, will it hold up to every day use?
I put the pair on and the first thing you notice is the pouch. It’s an interesting design that you put your junk, for a lack of better word, in and the pouch is adjustable. I forgot to mention that earlier, but you can adjust it to fit, so this is great for bigger guys. Adjusting is not bad and is done with a button rather then Velcro so it won’t slip or get messed up the way it does sometimes after a lot of wear. It took me a minute to get adjusted in the pair, but after getting situated it felts great. I will admit I’m not one for crazy pouch designs but this is something new, it kinda reminds me of Saxx but it’s a bit more advanced in design.
Boxer briefs are not my favorite style. One of my biggest gripes is that the legs ride up and loose their shape. Nothing can ruin a pair for me more then legs bunching up and having to pull them down all day. This pair avoids that by the implementation of silicone on the leg openings. It grips your legs and the pair won’t ride up. I was a little worried it would grip too tight or rip the hairs out of my legs but it didn’t. I’m telling you the thought put in this pair just blows my mind. Frigo did some research on how to make underwear for men!
I hear you saying yeah this is a great review but $100 buck price tag is hard to over look. I hear what you’re saying. I think these are for guys who are athletes or heavily involved with more intense athletics. I really see this taking market share from UnderArmour. I say this because they have engineered this so well and a lot of the UA gear I have tried doesn’t have a lot of support, especially the boxer briefs. So, basically I see them as a high end athletic brand, which I think will do well.
Ok back to the review. I wore them around the house and errands. Which I don’t think did the pair justice. I should have gone out to run a marathon, do cross fit, or a triathlon. The FreshPair.com site says guys wear it for every day. As I said the fit was amazing and felt great. These will be in my everyday wear let me tell you.
The pouch I liked, but like I said make sure you get in the pouch. Through out the day I would forget and have to go back and adjust. So it will take a little bit of work to make sure its all good. But once in it I had no issues at all.
The nylon/spandex material just fit well. Ok, not well I loved the feel of these on. They are basic black and if you were to wear them to the gym or else where you’d never get a second look. I said above that there were mesh panels. Which are on the side of the legs. They are the same black and it’s a sports mesh not a sheer mesh. It will keep you cool but not draw attention to you in a locker room. Most probably wouldn’t notice the very well engineered undies. They would think they were just run of the mill athletic undies.
Sizing in the pair was pretty spot on. I’m at an odd size I maybe could have gone smaller but that’s more on me then the Frigo. The legs have a tight fit and the pouch isn’t a bulge pouch, meaning it won’t show off and enhance what you have but support it. It may sound odd but I enjoyed it. As with all undies, make sure you double check the size guide before ordering.
This is the longest review I have ever written for UNB but there is so much about this pair that you can say. It seriously has blown me away the work that was put in this pair. The workmanship and material definitely justifies the price tag. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Pros:
- Amazing technology and design
- High quality materials
- Innovative pouch design
- Silicone on the leg to prevent riding up
- Classic styling
Cons:
- High price tag may turn guys off
- Maybe too athletic for many guys daily wear
- Only available in black, if you’re a guy who loves color

This pair, as I said was furnished for review by Freshpair.com. Frigo has a lot more pairs then just the $100 pairs, they also have T-shirts and other boxer briefs for around $30. Definitely check them out if you’re an avid sportsman.
I continue my reviews of Gregg Homme the next pair I get to review for you guys is the Baller Boxer. The first thing you notice is that the Baller boxer is tiny in the package. Meaning the boxer came in a pouch that easily fit in the palm of my hand. I originally thought it was a brief till I took it out of the package. I was a little worried because it has a thin waistband and super light material. I have tried similar styles from other brands and half way through the day they were falling off… Would this happen with Gregg Homme?
Well I should have known my fears were unfounded. The pair performed amazing. First let’s tackle the waistband. Yeah, I was worried it wouldn’t hold up. It didn’t fit super tight like I usually like. However, it stayed in place all day and never moved out of place or sagged. Which was my biggest concern.
Second the material, which is super thin. I always am amazed with what Gregg Homme does with materials. The hyper stretch material just conforms to your body. I love tight spandex blends that conform to my body. So when I first put this on it was looser then I usually like but through out the day it was super light and really felt like I wasn’t’ wearing undies. Note that the material is also semi sheer, so if you don’t want to show off a little you may not like. It made me think that this would be an awesome summer pair under shorts.
Lastly, the pouch. I’m a stickler when it comes to pouches. This one is defined and I will say I’m amazed at the support I had in it. I wasn’t expecting it to hold me like it did. All I have to say is that I’m blow away by the pair.
I wore the pair to run around errands, around the house and to dinner. Each of these situations it performed above my expectations. I think the material is made for an active guy. It’s hard for me to describe with anything other then amazing.
Now on to the sizing. You are asking what is the sizing? It’s pretty standard with US sizing. I received and XL which fit my 36/38 waist pretty well. I gained a bit of weight back over the holidays but working it off. As with any brand always double check the size chart on their site, because some brands do change sizes! I think Gregg Homme has been pretty standard.
Pros:
- Amazing stretchy material
- Fit like a second skin
- Good pouch support
Cons:
- If not a fan of looser fitting materials you may not like
- The pair is semi-sheer for those who are modest

Seeing as I’m a fan of underwear, and especially thongs, I like to split from my usual fare sometimes, especially if I find a good deal or something that just looks awesome. Count me a lucky bloke cause I found both of those wrapped into one package: the Diesel Fresh and Bright Jock Strap.
Most guys think of jocks as something to wear when you participate in baseball, football, soccer, etc. To be honest, I never thought of myself wearing fashion style jocks, or those that are designed to be worn for causal wear, without a place for a cup. I found a few pairs on clearance for $12, so I figured why not give jock straps another shot, especially since they looked really nice. I had tried jocks in the past without much personal success, as I was uncomfortable with how the leg straps of the ones I had before had dug into my legs/ass. Definitely was won over by the appearance, fit, and styling of these jocks. With the addition of these to my top drawer, I’m definitely excited to add to my collection.
Made of cotton, this jock feels glorious to wear. Thick in all the right places, it provides support and comfort throughout the day, from any activity imaginable. The leg straps never give an unpleasant feel and give a bit of support to the backside. The fit was exactly as it should be, not too big or small for the sizing.
The color options for this product are pretty rad also. They come in a nice selection of solid colors, as well as a striped version, which looks great on anybody. I personally picked up the orange and navy, blue and grey, and green and white, and absolutely love them, as well as the solid purple that I have in rotation also.
I would highly recommend Diesel underwear, and especially these jocks, as they are of quality make, quality material, and quality design. Add a little spice to your everyday dress, or even the bedroom.

I will be the first to admit I’m not a “thong guy.” Not saying I don’t like them but my usual go to pair is a brief. But, when Gregg Homme sends a thong to review, I knew I had to give it a go. The pair they sent is the Cowboy Thong. When I saw it in Vegas I loved it. I just wish I had the chaps to go with it! But I only got the thong!
Gregg Homme has consistently made amazing underwear. Every pair I have ever received have fit amazing and been able to wear through out the day with any problems. So, anytime I get a new pair from them they come from a high standard! I will admit I was kinda excited to try this pair. Why you ask? Well the thong has a pouch that is sheer but has a design laid over it, so it doesn’t show your business but is super sexy.
When I pulled it out of the package the first thing that concerned me was the pouch. Yes, I love a great pouch and need the room up front. Previous pairs have been made out of super stretchy material and I never worried, this one was more rigid, for a lack of better word, material. There wasn’t a lot of give so I hoped it would fit. I slid them on and they did fit pretty well. I will say it amazed me how well it fit. The pouch as supper supportive and felt great.
I decided to wear these to two different holiday parties. I will say my chief concern was would I show a whale tale in my jeans, I wore lower rise jeans and it could definitely show when I bent over. But I wore a longer shirt and I don’t think it showed. As the night went on I could tell it haven’t worn a thong often. The string bothered me a little when I sat and leaned forward. But it wasn’t annoying I think I was just not used to wearing one. When I was standing and mingling I really forgot I had it on. I really felt super sexy wearing this and no one knew what I had on!
That is prob the best thing about wearing super sexy undies. It makes you feel amazing. I think we need to treat our selves with undies like these every so often. Also, it’s great to step outside our underwear comfort box and wear something we wouldn’t wear in a normal day. Mix it up and have fun.
The sizing in Gregg Homme is pretty spot on with the size guide. I wore an XL with my 36-38 waist. The sizes can range from XS to XL so check the size chart but I don’t think you will have much issues with sizing with them.
Pros:
- Great Design that is super fun
- Good supportive Pouch
- Just fun to wear to a party
Cons
- String bothered me a little

This is second pair of underwear from Joe Snyder that I’ve attempted to use as an everyday pair. The last time I tried this was with their ‘Pride Frame’ bikini. The results were mixed. The issue I encountered was its practicality for everyday use. Given my disposition and frequent use of skimpy undies when engaged in bedroom recreation I found it really distracting to try to pull off a normal demeanor while secretly donning male strip-o-gram undies.
I’m glad to report this time was different. The ELA bikini takes a tiny step away from the edge that separates ‘skimpy’ from ‘too-skimpy.’ I should back up a moment and explain that I tend to be a traditionalist when it comes to men’s underwear. Think Jim Palmer and Jockeys circa 1976. That style was definitely skimpy for its day but it wasn’t so skimpy as to become off-putting. In today’s market we have so many pairs that border on dental floss that the Jockey’s of yore seem downright… proper.
So with that in mind, I will say it was a much better experience with the ELA. If the Pride Frame is just a tad bit too adventurous for you, then I recommend you try the ELA.
The facts: Made in Mexico. 80% polyamide/20% spandex (basically a speedo). Apparent good construction.
The waistband has been updated and instead of featuring the words ‘Joe Snyder’ it simply features an embossed JS symbol which you can only see up close. Aesthetically, it works great. The contrasting white color of the waistband is the only visual ‘trick’ employed. Not splashy at all, which I really like. The only other visual statement is made by the cut itself which is just awesome.
An important note regarding sizing: All JS pairs I’ve ever tried seem to run just a bit small. This might just be my perception as they are intended to be skimpy regardless of size. But just be warned that you may need to go up a whole size depending on your build. Otherwise your front may be having a fight with your rear for who gets coverage and who doesn’t.
Unlike my last encounter with JS, this time I succeeded in wearing the pair for a full day at the office. I was concerned that the pair would become uncomfortable after a short time, just because comfort and good looks are so often mutually exclusive. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfectly fine the whole day; snug but not uncomfortably so. Most surprising, the waistband did not give me a permanent JS tattoo. The inside surface of the band is soft and has no discernible marks or patterns so the ‘tattoo effect’ is kept to a minimum.
The best part about this pair (if you’re like me) is that you can go about your day without being constantly reminded of this tight banana hammock thing beneath your clothes. They’ve succeeded in making something look hot but feel more like a pair of low-rise briefs. At the end of the day when you take your clothes off you may say to yourself “damn… that’s what I was wearing?”
To sum things up:
Pros
- Excellent cut with minimal ‘flashy’ elements
- Surprisingly, not too snug in spite of the materials
- The most perfect waistband
Cons
- May need to up-size if you have any meat on your bones
Ratings
- Daily Fit 9
