Envy Menswear is proud to announce the increased appeal of the luxury menswear’s “enhancement pocket,” available in select designs in the line. Created for the modern man who wants to accentuate his assets, Envy intimate wear comes with a contoured pouch in front to enhance and support the male anatomy.

“Enhancement pouches accentuate the male form, as well as provide a less constrictive feel,” says Envy Menswear Director of Global Sales & Operations Christian Savoie. “Our retail partners, and our customers specifically, are extremely pleased with how Envy fits. With the Enhancement Pocket, modern men everywhere can now look their very best, while feeling comfortable and confident.”

Male underwear with an enhancement pouch differs from traditional men’s underwear, in that it provides both room and structure for the male anatomy, rather than a flat front, which could interfere with the natural contours of the body. The ergonomic design supports the male anatomy in a natural way, while separating the package from the rest of the body. Though the initial appeal is visual, this separation also prevents sweating and sticking, which can also assist in boosting men’s confidence.

Envy styles featuring the enhancement pouch include the Logo Elastic, Low-Rise Thong; Logo Elastic, Low-Rise Trunk; and Low-Rise Thong; as well as many more.

Envy recently celebrated its first anniversary in the luxury men’s intimate wear market. Envy’s 204 SKUs are currently available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, Scandinavia, Malta, and Russia, with new international partners finalizing their Envy partnership deals.

Envy encompasses most male styles and fits of underwear, including basic foundation pieces, everyday wear, sexy styles, and dancewear. Featuring hot, trendy clothes for the fashion-forward man, the Envy Menswear catalog includes logo elastic, mesh, fishnet, wet look, microfiber, sport, bling, core basics, and liquid metal fabrics. Envy fashions include thongs, bikinis, briefs, tanks, and trunks, as well as bareback athletic jocks and briefs.

In addition to basic colors – white, black, red – Envy also features edgy gunmetal and camo, as well as new colors like neon pink, neon blue, and neon green in time for summer. Many Envy items are also available with sequin embellishments.

Have you ever wanted to help an underwear company come up with new pairs? Then you need to check out Garcon Model new Kickstarter campaign. Right now they are allowing people to vote for their favorite designs and then the most popular will be made into underwear. I can’t remember any brand putting up and letting their customers pick what should be included in their next collection. I think this is an amazing thing for them to do. How many times do we wish we could get our favorite brand to listen to our opinion?

I know there are many times when I want to say, hey do this. Luckily having the blog I have done this occasionally. Brands listen but I’d like to think I have more power in the industry, but there are still pairs I want to see made! But, Garcon Model is giving you that power, make sure you vote and give money to make this happen. They have some amazing rewards.

Here is part of the write up on Kickstarter:

Why Do We Need Your Help?

Your support (and yes by support we mean your money in exchange for sheer awesomeness), will allow us to keep moving forward. The more money we collect, the more styles we can manufacture and the more choices we can offer YOU!

Please support at whatever level you’re comfortable with. We’ll pay you back with some really fantastic underwear, crafted for comfort with super-high quality materials you’re going to love.

We’ve priced our REWARDS to make sure we bring you great value. Our goal is to get our product in the most hands and also to bring you the underwear you really want.

As a start up, we’re not able to compete with $2-3 underwear the big brands get. BUT what we loose in competitive pricing, we earn in quality control and ensuring we deliver you the best product we’ve encountered in men’s underwear. And, believe us, we’ve tried them all!

Here is the breakdown of what Kickstarter money will be used for:

  • Manufacturing (40%)
  • Freight (1%)
  • Taxes (2%)
  • Customs (9%)
  • Photo-shoot (4%)
  • Shipping (20%)
  • Additional inventory (18%)
  • Others: web hosting, merchant fees, storage, logistics, etc.. (6%)

Our goal is to reach $10,000 to bring 20 new styles to life. So help us out by pre-ordering your underwear today. And share with your friends to help us reach our goal.

The important thing to remember with Kickstarter is that we need to reach our full funding goal or we get nothing.

This is second pair of underwear from Joe Snyder that I’ve attempted to use as an everyday pair.   The last time I tried this was with their ‘Pride Frame’ bikini.  The results were mixed.  The issue I encountered was its practicality for everyday use.  Given my disposition and frequent use of skimpy undies when engaged in bedroom recreation I found it really distracting to try to pull off a normal demeanor while secretly donning male strip-o-gram undies.

I’m glad to report this time was different.  The ELA bikini takes a tiny step away from the edge that separates ‘skimpy’ from ‘too-skimpy.’  I should back up a moment and explain that I tend to be a traditionalist when it comes to men’s underwear.  Think Jim Palmer and Jockeys circa 1976.  That style was definitely skimpy for its day but it wasn’t so skimpy as to become off-putting.  In today’s market we have so many pairs that border on dental floss that the Jockey’s of yore seem downright… proper.

So with that in mind, I will say it was a much better experience with the ELA.  If the Pride Frame is just a tad bit too adventurous for you, then I recommend you try the ELA.

The facts: Made in Mexico.  80% polyamide/20% spandex (basically a speedo).  Apparent good construction.

The waistband has been updated and instead of featuring the words ‘Joe Snyder’ it simply features an embossed JS symbol which you can only see up close.  Aesthetically, it works great.  The contrasting white color of the waistband is the only visual ‘trick’ employed.  Not splashy at all, which I really like.  The only other visual statement is made by the cut itself which is just awesome.

An important note regarding sizing:  All JS pairs I’ve ever tried seem to run just a bit small.  This might just be my perception as they are intended to be skimpy regardless of size.  But just be warned that you may need to go up a whole size depending on your build. Otherwise your front may be having a fight with your rear for who gets coverage and who doesn’t.

Unlike my last encounter with JS, this time I succeeded in wearing the pair for a full day at the office.  I was concerned that the pair would become uncomfortable after a short time, just because comfort and good looks are so often mutually exclusive.  But I was pleasantly surprised.  It was perfectly fine the whole day; snug but not uncomfortably so.  Most surprising, the waistband did not give me a permanent JS tattoo.  The inside surface of the band is soft and has no discernible marks or patterns so the ‘tattoo effect’ is kept to a minimum.

The best part about this pair (if you’re like me) is that you can go about your day without being constantly reminded of this tight banana hammock thing beneath your clothes.  They’ve succeeded in making something look hot but feel more like a pair of low-rise briefs.  At the end of the day when you take your clothes off you may say to yourself “damn… that’s what I was wearing?”

To sum things up:

Pros

  • Excellent cut with minimal ‘flashy’ elements
  • Surprisingly, not too snug in spite of the materials
  • The most perfect waistband

Cons

  • May need to up-size if you have any meat on your bones

Ratings

  • Daily Fit         9
  • Sizing         7
  • Construction/Materials         8
  • Styling         10
  • Daily Performance         10
  • Overall         8.8

I have been talking to a few of our straight readers lately. Which I will say is pretty fun to do and I get a different perspective on underwear. I have found that gay or straight we both want to wear super comfy underwear and pairs that make us feel sexy. Wearing great underwear makes us more confident and it puts me in a way better mood. I slide on my favorite pair of Cocksox, Gregg Homme or N2N and I just feel better through out the day!

Being gay guys having our friends see us in our undies is not something that is out of the realm of possibilities. It happens and no matter what we wear we really don’t get much slack for wearing what we want. Because many of our friends wear underwear on the same level as we are, so it’s commonplace to see colors, smaller cuts and such.

On the flip side many of the guys that are straight I have talked too all say they don’t show their friends their underwear. Which I will say shocked me. They always respond if they see me in a thong, bikini or something skimpy I will get labeled as gay. I went WTF? Guys still do that crap? Underwear doesn’t make you gay, wearing comfortable underwear should be something all guys do.

We have one guy on the site, Jon, who is a college student and straight. To sum up his story (which he’s shared here on UNB), he basically said fuck it I’m going to wear what I want. Guys in the locker room commented but after a while he saw the sporting better underwear. This is what we need guys willing to take a stand and show other guys yeah I can wear amazing underwear and still be masculine.

It’s my opinion that the majority of guys think if you wear something outside of boxer you are somewhat less masculine. When I think it’s the total opposite. I think wearing what you feel best in and feeling confident is the most masculine thing you can do.

Just curious about straight guys out there do this or has experienced this? Even gay guys, have you had guys give you grief on your undies. I think UNB needs to lead the way to show all guys that underwear is not about orientation is about comfort. A straight guy can wear a thong, bikini or even a speedo!

4168aI haven’t bought much counterfeit underwear. However, this seems to be going among brands. Obviously is taking steps to fight counterfeiting. Here is how they are planning to do it

Obviously Apparel has always had a strong culture of innovation – always striving to bring you highly engineered products – it’s no surprise that our designs are some of the most copied in the industry.

But now Obviously is taking on a new challenge, and we invite every underwear lover, every store and every underwear brand to join us in the fight to stamp out cheap counterfeiting of genuine underwear products.

Counterfeit products use cheap imitation fabrics and elastics to bring a sub-standard product that does not meet any of Obviously’s stringent environmental, social and design criteria – a product you still pay top dollar for but receive a cheap imitation instead.

So how are we going to do it?

Starting early next year, every single Obviously product made in our factory that you buy will come with a unique anti-counterfeit code on it.

Our encryption technology will utilize advanced military grade encryption and has a guaranteed zero percent chance of duplication of codes between products.

To check if your product is original you simply visit www.obviously.com.au, punch in the code and your product will be verified as a genuine original within seconds.

It’s that easy. Perfect peace of mind.

If your product is identified as counterfeit you will be notified and you can ask your supplier why they are selling fake goods.

We encourage every underwear brand to follow our lead and stamp out counterfeiting for good, for the sake of our customers and the entire industry.

Whether you are a store, a customer or another brand, please feel free to contact Obviously for more information about this new system. Once implemented these anti-counterfeiting measures will be available for all others brands and stores to license from Obviously.

jon-selfie

It’s official! The slang term “selfie” has officially become recognized by the Oxford English dictionary as a real word. Being that they are literally everywhere, it’s probably long overdue. Seriously, who hasn’t taken a selfie? Whether it’s a face shot sent to friends via Snapchat or striking a pose in your underwear, it may not be possible to go a day without seeing at least one selfie. If you were to visit Tumblr and simply randomly browse for two minutes, you would easily see at least 5 selfies. The internet lets anyone express him/herself instantly. It’s a beautiful thing.

Admission time: I love taking selfies, especially in my underwear. Some may ask why. Why would you want to share what many would consider to be a man’s most private article of clothing? The reason is two fold. First, I love underwear. I take pride in my undies and I am picky about what I wear under my pants. I don’t mind showing my undies to others as in the end, we are a community of underwear fans. I see nothing wrong with showing off and showing what I’m wearing on a given day.

The other reason I love taking selfies? There is an unexplainable thrill in striking a pose and showing off what you got covering your junk. The internet has the planet connected more than it has even been and we as a planet become closer each day. As a result, anyone can play model at any time in the comfort of their own homes. Each photo is a blank canvass and by simply pressing “submit” on a social media site, you can show the world what you got. I will personally use my selfies as self motivation within the gym as over time I can gauge my fitness results verses my goals.
I don’t actively seek praise from others that see my self pics. I see them as expression and each person is entitled to their own viewpoints. Now that you have heard my views regarding selfies, I encourage you to give underwear selfies a chance. We at UNB also have the Fan of the Month campaign to encourage all men to show their undies. Give it a shot. You really have nothing to lose.

Broga _94_

With the weather cooling down and the Holidays fast approaching, gay men across the country say goodbye (for now) to their skimpy swimsuits and hello to their warm winter sweaters. Worse yet, the Holidays mean lots of get-togethers and lots of eating, which can devastate the waistline. But our AC boys are always looking their best…and their secret for staying trim during the chilly winter months is Hot “Yoga for Bros”. And of course, when we mean “hot” yoga, we of course mean the guys. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t also turn up the heat, forcing our boys to strip down and get wet in order to try and cool down.

This is Andrew Christian‘s tribute to a gay house music classic anthem, “Call On Me” by Eric Prydz. If the outfits and dance in this video look vaguely familiar, then you’ve probably seen the music video that helped make the original song famous! Of course, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to give the original concept a gender flip-flop. Now, one lucky lady (played by the lovely Shangela of RuPaul’s Drag Race fame) gets to sweat it out with a room full of half-naked AC boys.

Thanks in part to a great soundtrack by Pump Audio, “Yoga for Bros” is sure to get your toe tapping and your head bobbing. So sit back, and enjoy the banging bods and infectious beats!

UNB Holiday-2We bring you another great picture from our Holiday Guide. This is our model Martin in Mundo Unico. This was a super fun shoot. A behind the scenes tid bit, we shot the guide the second weekend in Nov and the house we shot in Birmingham was already decorated for Christmas. They had a giant tree in revery room. The house was amazing and we have to thank Jonathan for letting us use his house. Also, outside there were monkeys, Lemurs, Birds and more. It was awesome. The photography was by Ignacio Rivera Jr.

Varsity16bWe hope you have a great Thanksgiving if in the US. If not I wanted to share something a little more risqué! The Varsity shoot Underwear Nation was just what I wanted. Jerrad does an amazing job an this series was HOT! Yesterday, one of our posts on Facebook was removed for violating their community standards. I asked quite a few people and posted it on Twitter and no one saw a problem with it. It wasn’t like we posted nudity, so we were locked out of our page for the day. So we will be doing more on Twitter and Tumblr. We will be doing a post and updating the rules to the UNB Fan of the Month contest, it will no longer be hosted on our Facebook  Page. Sorry for the vent was annoyed about it.

We have an interview with Logan Swiecki-Taylor, who you could call the face of Rufksin. I have known him for a few years and it’s glad to see him doing so well. He’s been one of, if not the main model at Rufskin. Here is a little more about him.

How did you become what most call the face of Rufskin? just about every time I see a new picture you’re the model

Well, a little over a year ago Rufskin had me come out for a shoot for a weekend we got to talking about me graduating from college etc. and a few months after that shoot they offered me a position in their logistics department (full time) so I made the move from Indiana to work for Rufskin, then just kept shooting on weekends for them and the rest is history.

1394791_10202463047996305_1351177790_n

How did your modeling career start?

I always laugh at this question its been rocky with several starts, There was high school where family friends always said I should try to model but being in Indiana the market is extremely small but we tried anyway, then there was a time where I tried the whole “Pro-scout” thing and in my opinion its just a scam to get naive people to blow money on broken promises (Im sure a few people actually do get a start from it but 99.9% just waste their money), then there have been the numerous “Photographers” that I have shot odds and ends with, then… there was this “family friend of a friend” who had a “agency” that sent me abroad and basically cost me a LOT of money for a few shots from different photographers, take a few pieces from all that and you get a few pictures that caught the attention of Rufskin to whom I now attribute all my SUCCESS in the business to. Failure is a stepping stone a way to learn and move forward so here I am now! Since starting with Rufskin I have only moved forward and I predict I will continue to do so!

What has been one of your favorite shoots you have done?

I have loved all the location shoots I have done with Rufskin, most recently the “California Vintage” underwear shoot. We were at an incredible park about an hour out of Palm Springs. You take me into raw nature and I feel right at home!

1384274_10202364063401752_1800904748_n

Rufskin is known for having fun designs do you have any favorite pieces you have enjoyed modeling?

Can I say everything?! I really love the new denim were doing as well as the “CA Vintage” and the “Iconic” lines.

They are also known for their styling, do you have an input or is it pre determined before the shoot?

Rufskin is best defined as a family we all have an input on almost every aspect of the brand it’s what keeps us fresh, ahead, and on edge! It also helps that every one of us comes from very different backgrounds.

What does the future hold for you?

What doesn’t the future hold for me?! I will say though I’m quite excited for our new swim line (2014) and a few other secrets that you’ll just have to keep your eyes on us for.

Find Logan at the Logan Swiei-Taylor Facebook Page and find Rufskin at http://www.rufskin.com
