Should guys wear classic undies: You Told us

We asked you guys about classic underwear. About 5 days after we had six guys answer. I figured this may be one of those polls few guys had interest in. I check it when creating the jock poll and noticed over 60 guys have answered. Enough to share with you guys. Here are the results of the poll. And what you guys had to say for and against wearing classic underwear

First we asked, should guys have classic underwear.

• it’s good to have a conservative alternative
• Tighty whiteys are a classic staple in a man’s underwear wardrobe.
• For those times when fuller coverage is needed
• For when you feel more conservative. Some days I want to feel subdued
• It’s much more manly
• Suitable for all occasions, shapes and sizes.
• Visit the Doctor (only time!)
• If a guy usually wears non-classic underwear, I don’t see a reason for them to own or wear classic pairs.
• Always nice to have a few pairs of classics for the gym or work.
• Functional. There are days when it’s just what you need.
• They are hot
• I guess it all depends on your age and body form. Personally I feel the classic styles are more comfortable for those of us who are a little overweight. I am not an exhibitionist and if I bend down it doesn’t bother me if someone see a Calvin or Emporeo waist band
• You just need classics around to remind you of the old times
• I think a good classic pair sets a tone to your day if you have something more reserved/conservative in your schedule. I also think it resets your brain a bit so when you wear your more daring underwear it’s more special.
• I think that almost ally styles of underwear have their place and occasional function. Like a boy scout, you should be prepared.
• Because it makes a man very sexy too
• There are times when you just need to step into something simple! Only classic underwear often has a pouch problem (as in not having a good pouch, period).

Those who don’t think so:

• I don’t see the need unless the guy wants them for some reason. Wear what style you want all the time. Don’t change it up for certain situations.
• It´s so boring
• I don’t really see the point for classic underwear unless that’s what you’re into which is absolutely fine. If you like bikinis or thongs they can be your classic go to underwear if you like them. I think that’s also how you can change skimpier styles as becoming more accepted
• So uncomfortable
• There are so many better options out there really nowadays…comfort, style, individual expression, pattern, color, proper pouches (how we ever lived without them before is a mystery), variety…
