The wait is over! Not only have our JC Athletic Contact Shorts been restocked but they’re now available in size 2xlarge (more on that below!) We’ve been waiting since March on this restock but due to Covid it was delayed… and delayed… and delayed. But it’s here now.

In case you don’t know, the Contact Shorts are Jockstrap Central’s very own line of shorts for sports, working out or simply lounging around. They’re loaded with features and come with a pricetag you’re going to love (just $40 bucks).

The JC Athletic Contact Shorts are streamlined to ensure you’re always looking good. They’re built with a soft right-out-of the-box moisture wicking fabric in either heather-grey, heather-blue, heather-red or black.

They’re unlined which is perfect for bulging but if you’re using them for workouts and sports then you’ll want to grab your favorite JC Athletic Classic Jockstrap (of course!) and you’ll be ready for anything. With zip pockets to store your valuables, reflective grey logos to be sure you’re seen, stylish black inlay detailing to compliment your butt and you can even throw them in the wash and dryer.

Here’s some more of the features: Made with soft stretch polyester for the perfect fit and comfort. Fabric is moisture treated to absorb sweat and dry quickly. Zippered side pockets with black insides for a stylish touch when unzipped. With an elastic waistband and drawstring for backup.

We wouldn’t stamp the JC Athletic name on them if we didn’t stand behind these awesome versatile shorts. Our advice: be sure to get a few so you always have one when the other is in the wash!

Along with our shorts, our JC Athletic Classic Sports Jocks have also been fully restocked. In case you don’t know the story:

When Bike, Activeman and Flarico all ceased production of their jockstraps in 2016, Jockstrap Central took matters into our own hands and produced what we consider the ultimate classic sports jock. JC Athletic Classic Jocks are the culmination of our 12 years of experience in the jockstrap business and they’re exclusive to Jockstrap Central. Based on sales and countless rave reviews, we did good.

We were six months from inception to the final product we launched in February of 2017. These jocks are simple, functional, comfortable, masculine and even understated with a nod to the classic sports jocks of yesteryear. Although based on our favorite classic jocks, we made lots of improvements:

Our jocks have a cotton moisture wicking woven pouch that’s soft right out of the package. The pouch has a hint of rubber for stretch and shape retention. With the ergonomic contouring of the pouch, we found the perfect balance between comfort and support, we even gave the pouch some extra contouring at the base to prevent what we call the dewlap (the extra sloppy flap of fabric below the balls due to excess material in many sports jocks).

For the 3 Inch Jockstrap, the waistband is a true 3 inches wide (many aren’t!) with a fine horizontal elastic ribbing on the outside and a super plushed backing so it’s sturdy yet soft against your skin. The Swimmer Jockstrap is essentially the same except with a narrow 1 and 1/8 inch wide waistband. Finally, with a nod to the classics we’ve put our subtle JC Athletic logo front and center.

Both styles are available in either black or white and available in size small all the way up to 2xlarge (from a 26 inch waist all the way up to a 48 inch waist).

Finally! Jockstrap Central had a restock order in with Omtex since February but due to Covid, their factory was on lock-down all this time. Well, five months later, the factory is open and back in production (at least partially) and they put our original order along with a new order at the front of the production line and the works arrived at our doorstep yesterday.

The off-white soft and smooth pouch is wonderful but where it really gets interesting is the plushed elastic off-white waistband which includes a striking grey stripe running through it is also the same elastic used for the leg straps. Not much of a support jock but where it’s lacks in the support department it makes up big time in the comfort one.
