N2N Bodywear – Randy Collection the Inspiration

There are so many different stories on how underwear/swimwear I have been privy to so many different stories over the years. I makes me super happy to have brands share their inspiration for a collection. I’m glad N2N Bodywear is sharing why they called this collection the Randy collection. This is the perfect collection for Pride Month.

Here is what N2N Bodywear says:

In honor of Randy Wicker, an LGBTQ activist whose lifetime of activism began in the 1950s. Randy always wore a crisp black suit and white shirt when in public.  The staid fashion choice went hand-in-hand with the work Wicker did with the Mattachine Society, which he joined in 1958 when he was 20 years old. The Mattachine Society—considered one of the earliest gay activist groups in U.S. history—had already existed for nearly a decade at that point, and its work in advocating for equal civil rights for gay people predated the Stonewall Uprising in New York City by nearly 20 years. Many people understand the protests at the Stonewall Inn as the effective start of the LGBTQ rights movement—and while that 1969 protest signaled an expansive shift in the movement, it was hardly the beginning.  For more about Randy and his activism, click HERE

If you are gay and aren’t aware of what Stonewall or the Mattachine Society is, definitely go check out who they are! This is timely because I just finished the book “The Deviant’s War: The Homosexuals Vs. The United States.” It’s about Frank Kameny and his fight for security clearance in the US. It also details his rise as the leader of the Mattachine Society President of DC.

I am so glad Andrew created this collection with a tie to the past and the fight for equality. It’s great to see how far we have come but we still have a long way to go! Thanks Andrew.

Garcon – Wildcat Swimwear

I had to do a double-take when I saw this pair; it’s not a typical pair of swim that you have seen from Garçon. Their previous swim has been solids, geometric and similar. Which is nothing wrong with these, they looked amazing, but I considered them like a Neo-classic. Meaning they do classic undies with new fabrics and cuts. They are super comfy and not your traditional undies and swim.

I LOVE this pair so much; it’s the Wild Cat Swim brief. I say if you’re going to rock a swim brief, wear a pair that says, “I’m here!” This pair definitely announces you are here and here to stay. The bold animal print is so much fun. I never liked the animal print in my younger days, but as I get older, I love it and can’t get enough of it. I”m glad to see them doing something amazing like this!!

Garçon really stepped outside their box. And I think they fit it out of the park. Make sure you check out all their new amazing swimwear.

New JOR for summer, featuring Swimwear

The JOR Swimwear line for Summer is out! This collection is just as hot as the underwear line they released this past month. JOR has been killing it the last few collections. They keep getting better and better. It’s so exciting to see them create new fun cuts and use amazing prints.

The Bugs line has some of the best swimwear. One of my favorites is the Happy Swim Brief. This is a cross between animal print and a unicorn, well the way I see it. It’s a larger cut brief but the print is so amazing. This pair will get you noticed at the beach and pool. I would dare to say this is a must have for this summer’s pool party season.

Also released in this collection is the new activewear. You can work out in style, including a pair of pink, this Summer. They have the traditional shorts and leggings, as well as tanks and shorts. I think activewear is where JOR is underrated. You guys definitely need to check out the gear for the gym.

It’s been a hot minute since we have seen the Feel swimwear or printed swimwear from Ergowear. But they are back! The new prints are amazing and fun. I think the two blue prints are the perfect pairs for summer! They are bright, fun, and joyful. After the last year, we need some amazing swimwear to make us feel amazing.

If you haven’t tried the Ergowear Feel pouch, here is what Ergowear says about it: “FEEL stands for Fully Ergonomic and Elasticized pouch. This exclusive design was the first three-dimensional pouch with no full or partial seam down the front. The roomy FEEL pouch gives you enough room gives you plenty of room to place anatomy to the front or sideways.”

This swimwear comes in three different prints and two different styles. The styles are the trunk and brief. Sorry thong guys, there aren’t any thongs in this line. I think this print in a thong would be amazing. But that’s just my opinion. Some of the features are:

Did you know we have a podcast about underwear, swimwear, and gear? I know some of you do know, but we are constantly being discovered by new listeners every week! Its awesome guys are finding us and listening to what we have to say. I’m going to edit two new podcasts this weekend, a new Brief Tale and a new show with the OG of the podcast talking about where to thong.

Our podcast has four different “shows.” First, the main show is a group of guys that talk about a specific topic in undies. We have talked about underwear shopping, our favorite pairs, winter undies, and more. It’s a lot of fun to get 3-6 guys talking undies.

Our second show is the Brief Tale show. This is a show where we interview a guy in how he got into underwear, how he goes into showing off his love of undies on social media, or how a brand started. This is an interview show with a one on one interview.

The third show is the Barley Brief Show. It’s for the beefy guys out there, and we talk about things in the underwear industry that affect beefy guys. There are issues they have over regular guys. Including finding swimwear, there will be a show soon about finding swim shorts.

Lastly is the Thong Show. It’s not a catchy name, but it’s all things thongs. It’s probably one of our favorite shows in all. Thongs are super popular and not going anywhere in the world of men’s underwear/swimwear. The way they have taken off in the last few years has been amazing.
