Go Pink with new Teamm8 Flamingo Swim Brief

I know for many of you, swimwear is the last thing on your mind. It’s cold and even snowy where many reading this are located. However, a pair from Teamm8 came across my radar and I just had to share. One because it’s pink, and pink swimwear is amazing. And two it’s one of my obsessions right now Flamingos.

I hear some of you saying that this is over the top for you, but they do make it with a navy background as well. However, I think if you’re going to rock the flamingos go full on pink. Pink is no longer a fem color and has been fully embraced in men’s swimwear and underwear. In fact, its one of the more popular colors for men.

The new brief has flamingos all around the brief. I think it’s super fun and you will get a lot of attention on the beach with this pair. And you will get asked, “Where did you get that pair?” It’s definitely a pair to wear to a pool party and hang out. Can you tell I really love this pair?

Holiday Collection Ergowear

Tis the season for new underwear! I think most of us will be buying our own undies this holiday season. Unless you are a lucky one whose significant other is into underwear. Ergowear, the ergonomically pouch underwear company has released a few new pairs for the holidays. The colors range from grey to RED!

The new pairs feature the Feel and Max Pouches. Each one of these pouches has fans. The Feel pouch is a little looser and gives you more natural support, in my opinion. The Max pouch is one that gives you a little lift in the front and feels great on. Can you tell I love the Max over the Feel? Each pouch is awesome it’s just a matter of taste.

The styles in this collection as you can see this collection have a little bit of everything from thongs to boxer briefs. But my favorite is the two new colors. The navy and red. Red is always a popular color. I mean how could you turn down a red bikini? I Know I can’t I have one from another brand I want to replace and I think I have found a suitable replacement!

Did you shop Black Friday Cyber Monday?

This was a year I did some shopping, I added in 2 singlets from N2N Bodwear into the final mix. But was curious how many of you guys bought some great gear during the sales. And the sales will keep on coming until Xmas is over. Here is the break out of who shopped and what they bought.

Of those who answered, 65% said they did shop! As you know we’re not scientific and it’s just fun to share this with you guys.

Most of what was bought was underwear. I thought we would have had more swim and fetishwear. Mine was swim and spandex. I should have bought a few new pairs of undies but didn’t.

New HOT N2N Singlets

I guess tis the season for singlets. And who can complain about that, NOT ME. A few weeks ago I talked to N2N Bodywear about singlets and why they didn’t have any. Andrew said that they would be coming and boy did he not disappoint. These three singlets (well two because one already sold out), are some of the hottest and sexiest singlets they have made, I think EVER. Which is quite an accomplishment because all their singles have been top notch and some of the best on the market.

There are three new singlets. The Mercury singlet (which is sold out and I missed it), Super Star Singlet, and the Powerlifter singlet. I will show the Mercury because you need to see this singlet (see above) but I won’t go into detail if it comes back in stock. But I mean look at this sexy singlet.

The Super Star Singlet is red, white and blue but different. At first look, it’s a red singlet with blue trim. But when you look close you see some white on the inner thighs. Then when you turn it’s completely white on the back. I LOVE this look, I don’t recall seeing a singlet with the front and back in different colors. some of you out there may go oh yeah “brand A” did that but most of the singlets I have seen were printed or paneled not solid like this. I really LOVE this big time. WOW,

The next singlet is the Powerlifter Singlet. It’s very reminant of the Galaxy singlet with the color and logo. However, the upper part has a deeper cut than the Galaxy ever had and it’s very hot. Mix that with the white trim and this singlet POPS! I was thinking you could wear it to the gym with a shirt over, unless you had a progressive gym! It’s just a great cut for a singlet.

Interview with Turlock & Co Swimwear

There is a new brand of Swimwear out of Australia. This is one you guys definitely need to know about. I got a chance to send them some questions. This is your introduction to Turlock & Co but you will see a lot more of them on the site.

What made you start a swimwear company? Why did you did you focus on swim briefs?

A. Just years of working with creatives like photographers and graphic designers. So I wanted to start a brand with the true understanding that a brand is about a lifestyle not just a logo on a piece of clothing. So I thought swimwear. Shorts T-shirt’s. Casual California beach. And then I moved to Australia!

You are an Aussie company, do you think the Aussie guy is more likely to buy than Americans?

A. Well we are technically Aussie and my team are Aussie but I’m an American so we get a mix of the best two countries in the world and so far it’s pretty even with Americans and Australian purchases

You have a unique point of view in swimwear, what inspires you to create the pints and colors you have in the collection?

I’m inspired by the California coastline and. Ow the Australian coast line ! So a mix of the two and next season an injection of colour two our prints

We are an American blog, so most of our readers are in the states, do you have any advice in purchasing your suits for the best fit?

A. We sized our brand based on a few very popular competitors. And our sizing it fitted and well sized. If your not sure after reading our size guide on the site. Email us and tell us who you have worn before and we can suggest a size! We will exchange sizes if you got it wrong. But remember to try them on over your underwear!

The last question is who is the Turlock & Co man?

A. Our Turlock&Co Man is the sophisticated. Stylish man. Nothing too over the top loves classic over trendy and wants to steal the show with class! He knows our Brand is class!

UNB Tim’s Black Friday Shopping

There is one thing that I love about Black Friday shopping, well other than it now happens online and I don’t have to leave home to shop! It always falls around my birthday. And today is actually my Birthday!!! This year I decided to buy a few things for me, which I rarely do these days.

After the site issues that drove me crazy on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, I needed retail therapy. One deal that came through that I knew I would be using was the 25% off at Go Softwear. They are the tops in singlets right now. Specifically the American Jock line! After my last review, I wanted the AJ Team Singlet. Which is a mesh and super sexy? Thursday night or ordered it and its on its way. And before you ask, yes there will be a review.

After this shopping, I wasn’t sure I wanted to buy more. I put something in my cart and decided against it. However, the next morning I said, why not do it. that is Blue Standard Streamline swim brief from Turlock & Co. I have seen them on Instagram and when it was 40% off I said buy it!! If you aren’t familiar with the brand we will have an interview tomorrow to introduce you to the brand. The prices in US exchange are not bad. The shipping was international and $15 but I expected that and didn’t bother me at all. It’s something different not many guys will have here in the States. I love this brand because they are super fun and classic to me! And yes I’ll have a review on this but I guess I need to go on a trip to wear these!!

The last thing is a book. You may be going a book? How does that play into underwear? Well it’s a book from a photographer, Kevin McDermott. I have his Hotel Motel book featuring Todd Sanfield and think he does amazing work. This is a book called Exhibition featuring male nudes of many guys you have seen here on UNB. The cover is Calum Winsor, also featured is Eric Turner and Todd Sanfield. It’s an art book and not an “art” book. I think it’s important to support photographers who work in the industry. It’s been on my radar to get for a while and I pulled the trigger today.

Keep Shopping Deals and Update

This year our Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals started on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. A lot started to post and of course, this is when I had issues with the site. I created a quick spreadsheet with info but also it had issues sharing from G Suite. But undeterred I knew I could fix the issues. After trying to restore the site from back up, I kept reading and found the answer!! Let me tell you it made a stressful Thanksgiving. I would have to try and then walk away and regroup. But it paid off! The Menu is still messed up but I needed to redo it anyway, it was on my list to fix!

The post for Black Friday was updated yesterday as well. All the ones I see for today are just reminding you to shop. I’m sure Sunday/Monday there will be more. I think this year we will do a separate post for Cyber Monday. But in the meantime look over the sales on our Black Friday Sales Brief.
