home-grip-mesh-2015102701The Grip line is one that has become one of the staples of the C-IN2 line. When they first released the Grip line was made for an active guy. The Jock in the series was and still is one of the most innovative jock designs of the last few years. This original collection definitely focused on the athletic side with not very many colors. This isn’t a bad thing the moisture technology and design made it a very great line.

The new colors are are more on the classic side. They are Black, Blue IT and Sanguine (red). Pair these with matching grip branded waistbands and it’s a great pair. The other detail I love on this pair is the trim. It’s not just a solid color but a band of matching colors that accent the pair. It’s pretty cool!

My favorite pair is the jock. It’s just a really great design on a classic pair. But would I turn any of the other pairs down? NO WAY! The grip line is hopefully here to stay for a bit.

C-IN2 just released the following in the collection

Unknown-27Who better to profile on Undies Monday? Rufskin has some amazing and fun underwear. The pair we are profiling is the Elton. Which is a string bikini cut in bright red (also in white and teal). You are almost guaranteed to have an amazing day wearing this pair all day. Think of putting it on under your Khakis and sitting through meetings all day long. You will feel amazing. Or maybe you wear coveralls and work in a garage all day, these under your clothes will make sure your Monday is an amazing day. The Elton retails for $29 at the Rufskin site.

12189285_1171028926244847_464649446306187931_oWhen you think of Rufskin what comes to mind? To me it’s always super sexy, body accenting and wild designs. The brand has it’s own style and its’ amazing what they have created over the last few years. This is from the underwear, swimwear, activewear and denim. You can say their designs are never boring.

Enter the Tino brief. This is one of the most classic designs I have seen out of the brand known for it’s fashion forward designs. Is this a bad thing? Not at all. I think every brand should have some more classic designs in their collection at some point. The Tino brief is more traditional/classic cut of a  brief. Unlike traditional briefs there is no white in this collection. Rufskin used their own color palette.

Their description is:

This comfy and supportive brief featuring our iconic 1.5″ elastic waistband is fabricated using über-soft cotton-spandex jersey. Contoured seat and double-layered front pouch, secured with cover stitch, create and extremely flattering fit. Comfort and style at its best. Classic colors with black trim for an elegant touch.

The Tino comes in just two colors. They are grey and burgundy. I will say I love the burgundy more than the grey but both are very nice. The black waistband is a nice addition to this pair and sets it of nicely. Some of you maybe not expecting this from the Rufskin. They have done similar pairs in the past that are more traditional. It still very much has a Rufskin feel to the pair. They prove classic can be sexy!

Find the Tino brief on the Rufskin website for $42.00.

Show of hands who here loves great colors? Who here loves great prints? Who here loves matching tanks and underwear? Who here loves bright fun swimwear? Who here loves bright work out wear?  If you answered yes to any of those questions the new JOR collection is for you!

JOR is known for their amazing use of colors. It’s not just solid bright colors but prints as well. Each collection they come out with funs prints in both underwear and swimwear. They have a really amazing collection this year. We are going to show you a few pairs we think you guys need to get now!

Rally Collection – Sports mesh underwear is always some of the most comfortable undies. Well I think so. The Rally collection is a sports mesh of a boxer, brief, jock and thong. The entire line is awesome but the jockstrap is my favorite. Below we have all the styles in the line. Available in white, grey and black.

Mirror Collection – Just like a real mirror. The Mirror collection is a shiny nylon/spandex fabric. I don’t think you have to have all cotton and matte underwear. There are times you what to show off what you are wearing. A shiny fabric like the Mirror collection is awesome. They selected a black, white and blue. While the black is classic the blue really pops to me. My favorite in this line is the brief design. It’s low cut with contrasting trim. This line has a boxer, brief, jock and thong.

Lines Collection – Lines is a bit more conservative for JOR. They are known for doing mesh, bright colors. This is a more subtle for JOR. I am not say by any means this is a conservative pair. Stripes can be sometimes very boring. This definitely is not. The color combinations they use really stand out. The red is my favorite with red, pink and white stripes. It’s just fun! The styles in this collection are boxer and brief.

Tiger Collection – JOR has for the last few collections had lines that consists of a boxer, brief, jock, thong, tank and swim trunk and swim brief. It may sound like it would be over the top. These collections have been some of the best in the entire line. One thing I like best is the swimwear is not matchy matchy with the underwear. It’s similar but not the same.  Each one of these deserves a feature but I chose the Tiger.  Other lines with matching tanks are Animal, True Love, Picasso and Zebra

Monaco Swim Briefs – The Monaco series has one thing I love in swimwear. That is different colors than what is expected. This lines has a green and pink. The pink is awesome. The cut is a full swim brief that JOR is known for designing. These both will look amazing on the beach this year!

Vallarta Swim Briefs – Last collection they had flamingos and this time the Vallarta has the bright color print! The print seems to definitely be tropical inspired. The print is a leaf print which by itself has a hint of pink and yellow. Pari that with the pink in the front and you will stand out on the beach!

Runners – Runners are one of the biggest trends in men’s workout wear. JOR put their bright spin on runners. Last collection they had shorts and runners in solid colors. This collection they have two runners. One is a bright blue with a white stripe and the other is a black with yellow stripe. The waist band on the blue pair is a bright yellow. This will make the pair stand out and pop. If you don’t want to draw attention to yourself choose the black! The blue will get some looks!

Player Shorts – JOR has expanded their work out/active wear. These are shorter shorts. Not super booty shorts but form fitting and could be worn to the gym our as a cover up on the beach. The shiny nylon fabric and draw string waist really stand out. Pair that with the logo on the left leg. It really reminds of me of a retro pair of gym shorts. Ones you would see in the 70’s or early 80’s. Just available in blue or black.

This is just a few of the pairs I think you guys should know! There are several more you need to check out. See the collection on GDD World site or shop for it on Candyman Fashion site.

NOTE: UNBTim does consulting work for GDD World/Candyman Fashion but the opinions in this post are his own.

2XistThe Tartan line is one of the staples in the 2(X)ist collection. Every winter they release some amazing new underwear to keep you warm. Previous collections have had long johns, boxer briefs, briefs and the usual underwear. This year they have put in something different, the Bike suit!

What is the Bike suit? Its a cross between a henley muscle shirt and a boxer brief. It may sound odd but on a winter’s night it will be one of the perfect things to lounge by the fire in, and I would be eating s’mores! The designs you could also say is kind of like a onesie. But not so juvenile in it’s execution.

The Bike suit comes in three different colors. They are Black, Black/Heather Grey and Cranberry/Grey Heather. My personal favorite is the Cranberry. I can see guys wearing it Christmas morning opening presents. The suit is made out of 100% cotton. This means it will be comfortable enough to wear around the house or sleep in on a cold night.

The design has a 9 button up front. Each of these buttons are fully functional. Which is a good thing, could you imagine having to take it off if they weren’t! Below the buttons is where the Tartan print comes into play. It’s definitely a nice touch!

You can find each of these at the 2(X)ist site for $54.

You maybe familiar with Cheapundies.com. They are a great resource to get amazing underwear/swimwear at great deals. But, did you know that not all the pairs they sell are closeout? They have their own CheapUndies line of underwear, swimwear and clothing. The best thing about the line is is very reasonably priced and very good quality.

CheapUndies just released a new line Fall collection. It includes Vintage Joggers, Ragland shirts and Golden Luxe Briefs. I would post pics but it’s better to see them in action. CheapUndies created a video featuring each of these. It includes Colby Melvin and Bryant Wood.

The Joggers retail for $19.99. The Ragland Shirts retail for $14.99 and the Golden Luxe Briefs are $9.99. Find these all on CheapUndies.com

2XIST_SS16_Runway_Images-2XIST_SS16_Runway_Images-Look_15_closeup2(X)ist just held their fashion show for showing current and pairs for Spring. They are one of the few brands that puts on a runway show in the wold of men’s underwear! We got a chance to talk to Jason Scarlatti, Creative Director & VP Design for Attribution about the show. He gave us some insight into the shows and 2(X)ist!

Q: 2(X)IST just held their fashion show for Fall (or were you previewing spring). They are one of the few brands that puts on a runway show in the wold of men’s underwear!
A: Our annual fall fashion show previews the upcoming spring collection for underwear, athleisure, swimwear and accessories. This year, in addition to a Spring 2016 preview, 2(X)IST is celebrating our 25th anniversary and the debut of our new women’s collection.

Q: 2(X)IST has been doing runway shows for a while, why are they so important to you guys?
A: The 2(X)IST fashion show is a multifaceted event and is an extremely important part of our year. In addition to providing us with a platform to preview the upcoming season to key press and industry buyers, it also helps us to illustrate the full lifestyle of the 2(X)IST brand. Our evolution over the last 25 years is brought to life through the fashion show, allowing us to tell various stories through editorial, retail, and social media.

Q: How often do you do runway shows for the brand?
A: The 2(X)IST fashion show is held annually each October and is comprised of items currently available in the collection, as well as pieces that are launching in the upcoming spring season.

Q: What product lines did you profile in the show?
A: This year’s fashion show celebrated the evolution of the 2(X)IST brand. Kicking off with a video montage that highlighted the past 25 years, the direction of the show focused on the full lifestyle of the brand (expanding from an underwear destination) and where the brand is headed in the near future. The show featured everything from men’s underwear, swimwear, socks, watches, bags and athleisure, and new for the upcoming season, the introduction of women – his counterpart. The 2(X)IST women’s collection is comprised of loungewear, daywear and underwear.
Q: Putting on a show is a lot of work, what is the hardest thing about producing the show? On the flip side whats the best thing about the show?
A: The hardest thing about producing the show for me is distinguishing an element of surprise. I know the clothes will deliver. I know the models will deliver. Our production team and PR team are the very best. So I’m always confident in the show, and I know the show will run. But I always want that moment where people say “WOW”…. and that’s what I think makes our brand and our show different.

The BEST thing about the show are always the people — from backstage to the models to the crowd. Hands down you can always feel the energy in the room and its electrifying! I thrive on the entire event. The stressful parts and the glorious parts.

Q: A show is not planned over night. How far ahead do you plan the show?
A: We have a 6-month calendar set up to produce the show, but I’m laughing inside because usually the day after we are thinking how to top it the next year!

Q: Models are a key part of the show, what does 2(X)ist look for in a model for the runway show?
A: Our models reflect our core company values — the 2(X)IST DNA. They’re all gentleman and sophisticated women who like to have fun and own a room when they enter it. They are approachable and energetic. They care about the way they look. They take good care of themselves and others. They are confident and proud of where they are – and hungry for where they will go. These are all core attributes of our brand that speak to us in every aspect of design, casting and marketing.

Q: Would you ever have a celebrity model in the show?
A: We definitely would – but our focus has been our product, so the timing hasn’t happened for us yet.

Q: Speaking of celebrities, do you get many to attend the show? What do they have to say about the show afterwards?
A: The attendee’s to our show’s over the years have been a wide variety of buyers and press that span different aspects of lifestyle media. At times we’ve sprinkled in celebrities, as well as stylists, bloggers, and influencers. The buzz is always electric and that’s something we thrive off of.

Q: This up coming year is the 25th year of 2(X)ist, can we expect big things from the next runway show?
A: You can expect new and exciting extensions from all the runway shows we do. Our passion is to consistently evolve with and for our customer. To round out his — and now her lifestyle with fashion forward solutions.

Unknown-13Just when you can’t get think aussieBum can’t make anything sexier… They prove you wrong. The new Punch range is one that is sexy without being over the top. Every day I get tons of emails about different things and when I saw the email from aussieBum and opened it up I did a double take. The first word that came out of my mouth was “DAYUM!” Not more than 5 minutes after I opened it a friend texted me to say that aB is on fire!

So what is this Punch line about? “The new PUNCH brief is designed for the man who likes to live by his rules and stand out from the crowd. Made in Australia, these high spec undies feature a smooth elastane pouch and a comfortable mesh that will keep you cool during the day and hot at night! The bold branded waistband reflects the attitude, confidence and front of those who dare to wear it. The new PUNCH is ready to bring out the rebel in you, go for it”

The things I like about this line are: The waistband is classic yet fun. You need a more subdued waistband on a pair this sexy. The mesh is just around the back. I’m not a big fan of mesh fronts. Things tend to get wonky and uncomfortable after a while. Lastly is its available in three colors. I love it when companies mix great colors and sexy mesh. It doesn’t need to be all black!

The pair is just in a brief. If you were hoping for a hipster, you’re out of luck. The colors available for this range are Coal (black), Fire (red) and Ice (blue). They retail for $21.96 from the aussieBum site.

If you haven’t tried aussieBum you are missing out on one of the great underwear companies that you must try! If this is too wild, don’t worry they have some that show off less!
