Lace is one of those things in underwear, either you love it or you don’t. There is no in between in the world of men’s lace underwear. The lace trend crosses all sexual orientations as well. We have readers who are gay/bi/straight who all love lace and can’t get enough of it. Lace, isn’t exactly main stream, but is being accepted more and more as a fabric for men’s underwear.
ausieBum has released the new Lace range in a hipster and brief. Personally I love this collection. It’s a very small collection but fun to me. The brief is my favorite and yes I very much would wear it. From a design point of view is a mix of masculinity and femininity that really works well. Plus there is something about a guy who’s comfortable enough to wear lace.

Before I start the review. Bikinis are my favorite cut of underwear. I love the fit and feel of them. When I saw the new Vermouth collection from Ergowear I knew I had to get some. I have a series of 3 underwear reviews coming up featuring Ergowear.
I have loved Ergowear since the early 2000’s. They make amazing pouches that fit like a glove. One of my favorites is a X3D brief in white. It’s got to be 10 years old and I still wear it. It’s one of those pairs I cant get rid of because of the fit. Flash forward to the new Vermouth collection.
A few things to know about the Vermouth Collection. It’s a special collection they have released featuring some of their best sellers. They include styles from the X3D, Feel and Max collections. The styles include the thong, bikini and mini boxer. Also, there is just one color. It’s sort of a lilac (purple/pink color). This may scare some of you off but don’t let it.
So on with the review. Having a positive history with Ergowear, I was excited to try this line. When I slid it the Vermouth X3D bikini on I knew it would be a new favorite. The first thing I noticed was the fit. It’s a smaller cut bikini but with that ergonomic pouch. I loved the pouch and how it held everything together. The next thing I noticed was the amazing microfiber fabric. The fabric is some of the softest I have worn in a while. I thought it maybe modal but it’s a polyester/nylon blend. I love loved how it felt .
I wore the pair running errands. I wished I had had this pair in Vegas. The pair really breathes and moves with you. Its perfect for someone active or being outside in the hot sun. The fit kept all day and gave me amazing support. I really LOVED this pair. I wanted to wear it a second day, and wished I had more than one pair.
Ergowear has one of the best sizing guides on the market. This will allow you to pick the perfect size. It think more brands should create a guide like they do. They tell you when you may want to go up a size. My XL fit me perfect. It wasn’t too tight or too loose. It was just right. I honestly don’t think you will have issues in sizing.

If you are a bikini fan this is a MUST have! Its not often I give a 10/10 on ratings but this has been one of my most favorite pairs I have reviewed in a long time.

Underwear Kickstarters are taking off! The latest in the Kickstarter is JockUp! I have followed them for a bit on Twitter and they reached out and told us about this effort. I really love underwear kick starters because you guys get to participate in the industry. If you see a company you like you can directly support them!

Work out wear is going through some what of a renaissance lately. It was pretty plain and unassuming before and now its becoming more form fitting and made for working out. One of our new favorite photographers is RSH Photography. We have been talking to him for a while and love his work. We think he’s going to only get bigger. He has a very good understanding of lighting and posing models. He asked us to furnish some underwear for a shoot. We had some Sly Underwear in the closet and sent to him featuring model Freddy. This is the results!

Summer is almost over but the ability to get great swimwear isn’t. I ran across the brand thanks to Colby Melvin. He posted a picture on his Instagram and I have to find out more about the brand! We got a chance to chat with them about the brand.Q: What made you start your own swimwear line? How long have you been making these fun pairs of swimwear?
I have always had an obsession with the beach since I was a little man, as I grew up older I always looked for the hottest swimwear and was never satisfied. Suits where always plain and simple solid colors and nothing that impressive that would catch someones attention . Till I made my own…DANNY MIAMI Swimwear!
Q: Some of your pairs are named Royal Lust and Lavish Lave. Where do you get inspiration for these prints?
It represents me and my love for fashion with a touch from the sexiest place in the world… Miami.
I started the process at the begging of this year and recently launched the brand about 7 weeks ago, my inspiration for the prints always come from rich and vivid colors, extravagant, fancy prints like none other that I call it Casual Luxury, there is nothing more casual then swimwear and underwear… Lol
Q: Are you planning to expand the line? If so what can we expect?
I’m planning to expand DannyMiami into underwear which I’ll be focusing, also tanks and tees the vision is to have a brand full of must have items!
Q: We first saw the band on Colby Melvin, are there any guys you want to see in your swimwear?
I would love to see my brand in every men in the world I think Every man needs some DannyMiami in their life!
